Lord Voldemort gleefully watches the faces of the light side crumple as they see the body of Rose Potter in Hagrid's arms. His enemy, after years of evasion and defeating him, is finally dead.

"Rose Potter, the Girl-Who-Lived, is dead!" Voldemort lets out a laugh and he can hear the screams from the other side.

Rose can hear Hermione let out a scream and it takes everything within her to not drop out of Hagrid's hold and run to her, but she can't, not right now. Right now she has to act like she is dead and not alive. Though the only other person besides Narcissa Malfoy to know she is alive is the vampire.

He's been tailing her since the beginning and would know when she died and came back to life. Rose just lets herself be carried in Hagrid's arms before she does something.

"Your savior is dead. Anyone willing to step forward will be embraced and welcome to join my ranks," Voldemort says, as if he is being benevolent.

Rose can hear someone shuffle forward and then the death eaters laughing.

"Well, you're certainly not what I would expect, Neville Longbottom."

"Rose might have died for us, but she's still alive in our spirit! The fight isn't over when there's still us. Rose might be dead, but we are not!" Neville exclaims.

She can hear him pull something and something metal hit the ground. She cracks her eyes open and can see Neville has the Sword of Gryffindor. A grin threatens to come over her face as she knows he is finally embodying the spirit of Gryffindor, even though he thought he was too cowardly.

"You might have killed her, but we are still standing and will continue the fight without Rose Potter!" Neville exclaims while leveling Voldemort with a glare.

She can see Voldemort making his way to Neville with his wand raised and that is when Rose makes her move. She drops out of Hagrid's arms and shoots a spell at Voldemort. It doesn't connect, but it does take his attention away from Neville.

Rose runs through the courtyard and to the stone bridge. She can see that Voldemort has taken her bait, but it's not the only pair of red eyes she has on her. Her vampire is looking at her and she just shakes her head. She focuses back on Voldemort with a deadly glare.

"You are the last soul piece, Tom. You're going to die today," Rose yells over the expanse separating them.

"I've killed you once, I'll do it again," Voldemort sneers.

"Last time I wasn't fight you."

She doesn't say anything more before she shoots the sectumsempra spell at him. He absorbs it with a shield before he shoots the killing spell at her. She dives away from it and it hits the ground where she was previously standing.

A snarl overtakes her face as she shoots a stunning spell and then a fire spell at him. Her spells hit a shield and she can feel the rage slowly consume her. She is going to defeat him once and for all.

He throws a killing curse at her and she responds with a disarming spell. Their spells connect in the middle and turn golden. It is reminiscent of her fourth year and she can see the ghosts come out of his spell. Her mother, father, and Cedric are there. She smiles at their faces.

They smile back at her and give her encouraging nods and Rose uses all the strength left in her to force her spell towards Voldemort. It slowly makes its way to him, it he is doing the same thing.

"You're doing so well, Rosie," her father says. "I'm so proud of you. Give him hell for us."

She can feel a stray tear spill from her eyes as she continues to push her spell towards him. Her left hand comes to join her right hand and they both grip her wand. She grita her teeth and she pushes the spells away from her.

She finally makes headway and the her spell overpowers his and both spells collide with Voldemort. His wand goes flying and Rose catches it while watching his body fall backwards with a mundane thump. He got the death he never wanted, a mortal one.

Rose drops to her knees and then there are cold hands on her face and she is looking into the eyes of her vampire.

"Do I have to leave so soon?" Rose asks. "Can I tell my family goodbye?"

"Yes, I'll allow you your goodbyes," Demetri tells the young witch.

He's noticed something has changed within her after she caught that wand. He no longer wants to drain her dry, but he still finds her smell tantalizing. He watches as she walks back into the castle and he follows after. He stands in the doorway as she says goodbye to her family.

She gets hugs all around and he can hear them promising her to try not to die down there. The laugh she lets out is like music to his ears. He wants to hear her laughter for the rest of his existence and he wants to be the one to get it out of her.

She walks over to the wolf and his wife and sadness coats her features. They give her smiles before wrapping her in hugs and he can hear the wolf promising death if anything happens to her, his cub. Demetri lets out a scoff at that, as if he'd let anything happen to the witch.

Rose finally parts from her family and makes her way to the doorway where her vampire is waiting. She stops before him and looks him in the eyes, determination lining those brilliant green eyes.

"I'm ready to meet my fate," Arya says.

Demetri gives her a half smile. "It won't be so bad."

Arya just nods before Demetri picks her up and whisks her away to the airfield where the private jet is waiting for him. It takes a little bit before they are at the airfield and she can see the lone airplane.

"Do you have a private jet?" Arya asks.

"We've been alive for centuries, it would only make sense if we had a lot of money," Demetri says.

"Isn't that a bit excessive though?"

"It's handy when it comes to many things."

Rose looks over at him with a raised eyebrow. "Like hunting down prey?"

"More like elusive prey. You were very hard to catch."

Rose smiles before Demetri gestures for her to get on. She follows his silent orders and walks onto the plane. The inside is more expensive than what she is used to and there are couches on the jet. She quietly finds a seat and Demetri sits across from her.

Rose should be fearful for her life, but considering what she's been though, she just can't feel the fear. She knows she is going back to the vampires who killed her relatives, but they abused her and got what they deserved. As Rose thinks on not having fear, she can feel the vampire's eyes on her.

She looks up and they lock gazes. Rose raises her eyebrow in challenge and all he does is smirk at her. Rose rolls her eyes before she gets comfortable in the private jet that the vampires have. It still baffles Rose at how much money they have, but then again she does too, after being named the Heiress Black and Heiress Potter.

"Since we are going back to the lair I so heroically escaped from, I should know your name since you know mine," Rose says.

"Heroically escaped? I don't think there was anything heroic about that escape, and my name is Demetri," he says with a smirk lining his lips.

"Alright, then how do you think I escaped?"

"Cowardly."

Rose lets out a gasp as she glares at Demetri.

"You try being surrounded by unknown creatures that just killed the tourist group and not be cowardly as you so eloquently put it."

"I can't say I've ever tried to do that."

Rose just sticks her tongue out and goes back to her thoughts. Rose takes out the cloak, wand, and stone she now has. She can vaguely remember a story that Mrs. Weasley told one time, but for the life of her, Rose can't remember.

She can feel a shift in the air and when she looks up, Death is standing there. She doesn't know if Demetri can see them or not, but considering he hasn't moved from his spot, Rose is going to guess he can't.

"You have all of my things, and now are the Mistress of Death, meaning you are immortal. I will let you pick an age and will let you age there and then you will be immortal for the rest of time," Death says.

"Did you say Mistress of Death?" Rose asks.

"That is what happens when you collect the Deathly Hallows. Now what age?"

Rose looks over at Demetri and takes a guess at his age.

"Uh, twenty-five."

Death nods before placing their hand on Rose's head. She can feel a shift inside of her, but other than that everything is normal. Rose looks up and Death is gone. Rose looks back at the objects before she remembers the Tale of the Deathly Hallows and the three brothers. She vaguely remembers them having to cross a river and creating a bridge to outsmart Death, but Death got them all in the end.

They land near Volterra and a car is there to bring them back. Rose can't help but feel like she is a lamb being led into a wolf's den for slaughter, but she is a lion and now the Mistress of Death. She has fought in a war and has evaded a vampire for the better part of a year. If anything, she shouldn't be scared of them. The drive is boring and Rose just watches the landscape pass by.

They arrive in the city and the castle is just like Rose remembers. Impressive, but not as impressive as Hogwarts. Demetri leads her through the halls and at one point, they jump through a hole. Now this is completely different from her first time round. By the time they are in front of the same doors that led to the Dursleys deaths, Rose is composed and ready to face the music.

The doors open and all eyes are on Rose. The man from the first time has a wide smile on his face. Rose doesn't let herself feel fear, she's died and come back to life and single handedly saved the Wizarding World from Voldemort.

"Ah, it is so good to see you again," the man says.

"I hope you can understand my hesitance when it comes to saying that," Rose says.

"How rude of me, I never introduced myself. I am Aro and these are my brothers Marcus and Caius. We are the Kings of vampires," Aro says.

"And I am Rose Potter, the Girl-Who-Lived," she introduces.

"I've heard many things about you."

Rose arches an eyebrow at the vampire. "You have?"

Aro just smiles at Rose. "We might not be magical, but we do know things. Such as how you survived the killing curse at one and managed to defeat Voldemort sixteen years later."

Rose narrows her eyes at him. She knows he probably got the last bit of information from Demetri, but the first part is only known to the Wizarding World.

"Where'd you get the first bit?" Rose asks in suspicion.

Aro just gives her a smile. "Well dear Santiago of course. I do have to say, he was quite taken with you when you were in your sixth year, but it seems you're spoken for."

The smile Aro has on his face unnerves her and she perks at the spoken for part.

"And why am I spoken for?"

"Well, you are Demetri's mate."

Rose's eyes widen in disbelief and she turns away from Aro to look at Demetri. He is looking right at her with a small smile and Rose turns back to Aro.

"Is that how he was able to track me?"

"That and he is the best tracker."

Rose nods and the room descends into a silence. She can feel the vampires eyes looking at her, but considering that she's been under a microscope since she entered the Wizarding World, she's not that uncomfortable with it. When the silence becomes too much, Rose decides to break it.

"What do you want from me?" She asks.

"Well, since you are Demetri's mate, you'll be turned into a vampire," Aro explains.

Rose lets out a short laugh. "Sorry, mate, but I've already got the immortality part down."

"How?"

"Well you see, I collected the Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone, and Invisibility Cloak and those combined make the witch or wizard the Master of Death."

"And you won't age?"

"Well, they gave me an age that I could age to and then after that, immortal."

Aro looks at her with his wide eyes and she knows he wants to know more. He steps down from the dais and walks towards Rose. He walks around her, as if he's inspecting her. Rose gets the distinct feeling of a predator sizing up its prey.

"Fascinating," Aro mutters.

"Yes, well I'm just full of surprises, aren't I?"

"Yes, you are," Aro says before his attention is drawn to Demetri. "Show her to your rooms. She'll most likely want to sleep after fighting."

Rose glares at Aro. "I can speak for myself, thank you very much."

Aro quirks a brow at Rose and a smile lines his face. "But I'm not wrong, am I?"

Rose just glares at him again. "No."

Aro just smiles again and claps his hands. "Excellent."

Demetri is suddenly at Rose's side and he leads her out of the throne room. They don't talk on the way to his room, but Rose gets the distinct feeling that he wants to say something. Rose ignores his looks and examines the castle on their way up to his room.

"You know this would be faster if you let me carry you," Demetri says with a smirk.

Rose looks at him with a side eye. "No thanks, I'd like to walk on my own."

"Humans," Demetri sneers.

Rose stops in her tracks and glares at Demetri. "I'll have you know, I can be very dangerous and know many spells that can kill every single one of you vampires. So do not test me."

"And I can drain you dry of your blood. Do not test me," Demetri mocks her words.

Rose scoffs as she continues to walk up the stairs. She can hear footsteps following after her and then she is being picked up and in the blink of an eye, she is deposited onto a bed.

"There, that's much better, don't you think?" Demetri asks.

"I could have walked here," Rose glares.

"I know, but you were taking too long."

Rose rolls her eyes before she gets off the bed and digs into her moleskin for her pajamas. She looks around the room, searching for the bathroom.

"Where can I change?" Rose asks.

"You could change right there," Demetri suggests and an undignified gasp escapes Rose's mouth before she launches as pillow at him.

"I am not changing in front of you, at least not yet. So where can I change?"

"Bathroom is through that door."

He points to a door on the other side of the room and Rose walks over to it. She opens it and walks inside before closing it and placing wards and locking charms on it to make sure he can't sneak a peak. She changes into her shirt and shorts.

She shorts hug her thighs while her shirt hangs below her butt. She pulls her hair out of its ponytail and brushes through the tangles of it. When she looks in the mirror, she can see the power swirling in her eyes and Rose stares at them. The power seems to make her eyes glow, as if she is something inhuman, and she guesses you could say she is something inhuman considering she was a horcrux and is now the Mistress of Death.

She drops the wards and walks out of the door. Demetri is now lounging on the bed and Rose just rolls her eyes before she walks over to the unoccupied spot and pulls the covers back. She sends a short glare to Demetri, still not happy that he wouldn't let her walk.

Demetri looks up from his phone and sends Rose a wink with a smirk.

"If you do anything, I will harm you even if I am your mate," Rose warns.

"So touchy," Demetri smirks at his mate. "I promise I won't do anything."

"Good."

Rose gets underneath the covers and can feel how soft the bed is. She lets her body melt into it before she feels her eyes drift shut and sleep overtake her body.

Demetri looks over the sleeping form of his mate and wonders how it would feel to just be able to sleep, at least one more time. He banishes the thoughts from his head before he is summoned to his master.
