TW: panik, physical injuries
Keith was next to his physical self; he blinked, and alarms were turned off.
He blinked again and the ship was now dark.
What just happened?
Did time just...?
He dared to blink again.
Lance was lying in the bed, out of it. He got transported during that blink. What?
Keith didn't want to blink again.
But he had to. For some reason he wanted to do human things, he still existed! He was still human. Even in his pale form, he was still human physically and mentally.
His eyes watered so he blinked and there were more alarms.
He was back to his physical body. Keith didn't know what to do. He touched his physical self and blinked. The alarms shut off again.
Come on! Get IN. Why can't he get into his body!
Was this the first time he tried to climb into himself?
What was happening to time? Was it always like this?
.
Coran was worried. Soon after Lance came out of his "hibernated" state Coran booked it to the front of the ship. One boy was ok, but what about the other one? He checked Keith's body, the signs of life, and the...stuff. He tried not thinking about what exactly he needed for supplies. But it came to his mind: IV, Electrolytes, and absorbent wear aka catheters and other bedpan situational stuff.
Coran dealt with it all and was beginning to think no one else thought about it.
The bedpan situation and absorbent underwear would be fine. There was enough and ways he could stretch usage. He could manage.
But the fluids...IV and electrolytes.
Those supplies limited. He thought he had more time. Keith was going through them faster than the medical research that Pidge and him found. Why was he eating the supplies up so fast? What the hell did Keith do in that accident? What exactly did he do?
Coran was looking down at the map, thinking, trying of how to extend Keith's fluids longer.
He jolted when the alarms went off and searched the map for what was wrong.
A red dot from nowhere rammed into the ship. What the he-
Heck?!
How did he not see the other ship. Or thing. Or-
The whole ship rumbled, started turning to one side, gravity shifting.
"Oh no-!"
Coran fell and dropped a couple of clicks before hitting his side.
The thoughts he had while lying there trying to breathe were anti-climactic.
But...they were in deep space; how could someone even be close to them? They would have been closer to alien civilizations but before Keith...got to his condition...they worm holed away from danger. They shouldn't be close to anyone or anything. That's why Coran couldn't get Keith's stuff.
He tried getting up.
As soon as he could, he tried turning off the alarms.
No. Oh. It's that sort of emergency.
"They are boarding!" Coran said, shouted into the comms, "Unknown individuals are boarding, get ready paladins!"
.
Allura was the captain and she didn't see this coming. She was in her room, playing with the mice when the alarms went off. The rest of the crew were in the dining room area hanging about. She just wanted some relaxing time.
Training had been stressful, because of the lack of team members so she gave them the rest of the day off.
The alarms sounded.
"Ok my mice. Chulatt go check on the team members, Platt stay with me. Plachu and Chuchule go see Coran to see what's happening."
Her mice shot off.
She felt in her chest a deep sense of dread. Without warning, she flew into the air and landed into her dresser.
"Ow-" She winced but fought to stay conscious, they needed a leader.
She heard Coran, "They are boarding! Unknown individuals are boarding, get ready paladins!"
At least there was someone leading. She couldn't stay awake. Allura struggled to take a breath in, wincing as her side flared up with pain. The pain was too much so she let herself slip under into unconsciousness.
.
The alarms were loud
Lance couldn't stand after the ship had been shaken, he sat on the floor, looking up to arguing Shiro and Pidge. The alarms were too loud. Hunk helped him up and Lance leaned against his friend.
He felt light-headed.
Other than that he was fine.
Pidge looked like she was going to suffer a large bruise on her shin and Hunk somehow landed on his butt when the ship tipped. Shiro got jostled a bit but didn't suffer any injuries. Lance felt a little sore from being thrown and being in bed for a week.
They all seemed to be fine enough.
The team heard Coran.
Lance didn't catch what he said but it was something about boarding?
He knew that was bad, the alarms weren't the usual ones.
.
At the control room, Coran tried his best to lock any doors.
Somehow the threat got in further, bypassing them.
The guns set up in the ship jammed.
The cameras weren't working right before shadows came into view.
The crew must be scared, because Coran sure was.
.
The threat that boarded Voltron's castle ship was a pirate crew.
It was made up of Haggar, Bob the game show host, and a Shiro clone.
They were dysfunctional at best but all had one common goal.
To defeat Voltron and make them suffer.
