They all laughed while listening to Fred and George on the radio.
"So, if Voldemort's abroad, does that mean he's wasting time looking for the elder wand?" Neville asked.
"We know you're in there," a voice said, from outside the tent.
Neville froze, and then Hermione put her wand in front of him and his face stung. Hands reach in and grabbed him, and began pulling him out of the tent.
Jane screamed, and so did one of the snatchers.
"Don't touch her," Neville yelled, through his stinging face.
"Avada Kadavra," yelled one of the snatchers. "Stupid dog."
"What's your name," asked Greyback?
"Henry Clements," he said.
"You're," asked another one?
"Molly Clements," Neville's grandmother answered.
"What about you?"
Jane was silent.
"Tracey Clements," his grandmother answered.
They were tied up and left. "Is Sirius alive," Neville asked?
"I don't think so, sweetie," his grandmother replied.
"Where's Hermione," he asked?
"I don't know. I suspect she turned into an Otter, and hide when Sirius got killed. She's smart. She'll find a way to rescue us, eventually."
"Is that you, Neville," asked Dean.
"Yes."
"This didn't happen because I said Voldemort, did it," Neville asked?
"It couldn't have. That's just an urban legend," Neville's grandmother answered.
Footsteps approached. "I've never heard of the Clements family," Scabior said. "What blood statues are you all."
"I'm half-blood," Neville's grandmother said. "My kids are three-quarter blood."
"Look at this picture of Neville, and his girlfriends, after the second task of the tri-wizard championship," said one of the snatchers. "She looks like the girl he saved."

Neville tried not to look too closely at Draco, as he examined him, but Neville did notice that Draco looked as scared as he did when he tried to stall killing Dumbledore on the Astronomy tower.
"I don't know," Draco said, before walking away.
Greyback pulled Jane forward, as Jane whimpered. "What about her? Do you recognize her?"
"I think I saw her with him in Diagon Ally, along with her," Narcassia said, pointing to Neville's grandmother, "and some other people." She pointed to Jane. "Look, Draco. Isn't she his friend?"
"I-I think so."

Neville rattled the door. He could hear Bellatrix's voice from above.
"Where did you get this sword," she demanded?
If Jane responded, he couldn't hear it, but he knew that she was probably too afraid to respond.
"Crucio," Bellatrix yelled.
Neville burst into tears, as Jane's terrible screams rang out. He kept crying even when the screams died down and turned to whimpers.
"You, or one of your friends, has been inside my vault," Bellatrix yelled. "Haven't you? What else did you take?"
The screaming started up again.
"Lucious," his grandmother cried, "that child can't even speak while she's afraid."
Neville looked up and noticed that Lucious Malfoy had come to the dungeon window, and the screaming had just stopped.
"What else did you take, from Bellatrix's vault?"
"Nothing, because we were never in it," Neville and his grandmother both said.
"They lied, and said nothing," Lucious yelled, as he turned and walked up the stairs.
"Crucio," Bella yelled again, and the screaming began again.
This went on for a while. When Neville's grandmother wrapped her arms around him he just felt guilty that there was nobody to comfort Jane, and he was sure that what she was experiencing was much worse than this mental torture. When Jane stopped screaming or making any sound, Neville grew even more worried.

"What was that," someone asked, upstairs?
Suddenly, there was the sound of someone going down the stairs. Suddenly, the sound stopped and the lock to the dungeon door broke. Neville realized that it was Hermione under the invisibility cloak.
They ran up the stairs. They cast imperio on everyone they saw, to make them leave them alone, including Bellatrix.
Neville touched Jane, and grabbed his grandmother's hand.
They all looked at each other, making sure they were all holding on, and apperated.

Jane laid on the ground, silent and still.
Neville knelt down beside Jane, while his grandmother placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry, Jane," he said.
Jane gave no response.
Lupin and Mrs. Tonks came out. They looked down at Jane.
"Would you like me to take her inside," Lupin asked?
"No," Neville said. "I'll take her inside. Jane, is it okay if I pick you up," he asked?
Jane did not respond.
He touched her, but she gave no indication that she'd even noticed. "I'm going to pick you up now," he said.

Neville sat Jane down.
Neville's grandmother wrapped her arms around him, in a hug. Neville leaned into her, sobbing.
Jane reached a hand out, and touched Neville.
Neville pulled away from his grandmother and looked at Jane. "Did you just touch me?" He crouched down beside her again. He placed his hand on hers.
Jane's hand gently gripped Neville's, and he smiled and gently gripped hers.
"She'll be alright," Hermione said. "She just has to recover."
Neville started to cry again. Jane clearly still felt bonded to him, but he knew that was not enough evidence to say she was going to make a full recovery.
Neville's grandmother gently took his free hand. He glanced at her, and he knew that she was thinking the same thing.
"I'm so sorry," Hermione said, as tears fell. "This is all my fault. I should have gotten there sooner."
"No, it's not," Neville's grandmother said. "You're the one who rescued us, and that was great."

Neville woke up, to the sound of crying, in the middle of the night. He sat up, on the double bed he shared with Jane, in one of the guest rooms.
Jane was sitting up, with her eyes full of tears.
Neville never thought he'd be happy that Jane was crying, but he was. "Do you want a hug," he asked?
Jane nodded.
Neville smiled, because she was able to respond, and then he wrapped his arms around her.
Jean leaned her head against his chest, continuing to sob.

The next morning, Neville and Jane walked down the hall. They could hear people talking in the living room.
"I'm really sorry," Dean said. "Ted would probably still be alive if he hadn't tried to protect me."
"It's not your fault dear," Mrs. Tonks assured him. "Ted always had a protective instinct."
Nymphadora just looked away, sadly.
Neville and Jane walked into the living room.
"Jane's up," Luna said, excitedly!
Neville smiled. "She's not speaking yet, but she can respond to stuff."
