(Marina's P.O.V.)

I saw Sinbad blinking in shock and confusion, "Babies?! As in twins?", and I called out, "Eris gave her word on it! She crossed her heart face to face when she told me.".

Eris nodded, "Indeed, I did give my word. Now, what's your offer, mortals?", raising an eyebrow. Rosi stepped forward, and she took a deep breath, "Eris, goddess of Chaos, ever since you showed up in Syracuse, I was very curious about you. So, with much research of myths, stories, and such about you, I have created a book showcasing the truth about you. If you approve of the book, with Proteus's help, I can create more copies of the original, and spread it all around Greece, so nobody couldn't forget to pay their respects to you in temples and festivals.", removing a book from her satchel she was holding into, and showing it up in her hands to Eris.

Eris smiled widely, "Is that right? Let me have a look at it, and Lupus, leave the poor woman alone. The prison is of my own work, she won't escape easily, and I suspect Sinbad would want to make sure he isn't dreaming nor she.", and Lupus whuffed, stared at Spike who snorted with a bark, nuzzling Eris, jumping high into the sky above us.

"I will give you an hour to talk with your wife, Sinbad, along with your friends, as this book will need my attention to correct any mistakes and such.", Eris purred before vanishing into smoke, heading upwards to her upper lair. Spike ran to me, barking and whining as he put his paws up on the horizontal bars.

I stroked his head, "Oh, Spike, I missed you, boy. Did you miss me?", and Spike whuffed, whimpering as he nuzzled my hands, and Sinbad chuckled, "He really missed you, Marina, but not as much as I did.", reaching to hold my hands, and I leaned through the vertical bars to kiss him as much as my pregnant belly would allow me to.

Sinbad caressed my cheek with his hand, "You are real...I'm so sorry.", and I smiled reassuringly, "No, it was my fault for not following the rules of the temple even if it was abandoned...But at least you made it, and you won't miss meeting the twins.", deciding to hold back the piece of truth that it is two girls, wanting to see his surprised face once he meets them properly sooner or later.

Sinbad shook his head with an awed laugh, "I admit I didn't see it coming, but wow, Marina...", gently caressing my baby bump, "Are you feeling good? Any trouble with them?".

I chuckled lightly, "Apparently, they took up to dance most of the day away between meals, but I'm glad they took to sleep at night to give me peace. And I think I'm due any day now...I can feel it, Sinbad.", looking at him, and Sinbad nodded, "Can't blame them there, they must have been missing me those two weeks.", before I felt kicks, gasping at the force behind them.

Sinbad laughed lightly, "Great timing, you two. But don't kick too hard for your mama, alright?", and I felt two softer kicks amongst twinges in my back, and I smiled softly, "They apparently missed you and your voice. After all, you're the Captain, my love.".

Sinbad grinned brightly, and gestured with his chin, "Come on, you two, give Marina a couple of hugs.", glancing at Proteus and Rosi. The couple gladly got closer, not even hesitating, already talking to me and hugging me through the bars. As the hour ticked by, I felt sore and angsty, sitting down almost immediately as the aches and twinges became harder and sharper, feeling more motions of the babies as they moved, but I managed to ignore it as I was all too happy to have contact with Sinbad and the others after so long...

Two weeks, has that been that long? In the midst of stroking Spike's head while talking to Rosi while holding another hand with Sinbad's hand, Eris returned with the book, and I then felt anxiety yet curiosity while the twinges suddenly became more painful, but I focused on Eris as she looked at us, with Sinbad immediately protecting me even between the bars.

Eris smiled deviously, "Well, Rosi, isn't it? I have read the book, and I admit you have done quite well on your research, though I had to edit some things here and there, and added a couple of adventures, featuring myself, of course, with tidbits of Mount Olympus and my lineage. Your dear wife and friend shall be freed on two conditions.".

Sinbad was about to protest when Proteus stopped him with a sharp look, and then spoke politically, "And what may those conditions be, Goddess of Chaos?", and Eris chuckled softly, "You certainly have better manners than Sinbad, young prince. The first condition is that all the known world must be educated about me within a moon of your return by way of this book, and if you accept this condition, I may be gracious to actually recreate the book into multiple copies for all literate people of your beloved 7 Cities including Syracuse which your ship will be able to carry easily enough in the storage barge.".

I saw Rosi and Proteus share a look, and Rosi nodded, and Proteus replied, "With my leadership, it shall be done. I accept the condition, Goddess of Chaos.", and Eris smiled widely, "Lovely!", snapping her fingers, and instantly, organized boxes appeared, and in those boxes are copies of the book, perhaps a couple thousand if I wasn't mistaken.

I was in awe and amazement of her powers, and I then inhaled sharply when the twinges suddenly became into contractions, feeling my belly constrict, and I then realize that I am coming into labor, feeling pressure into my lower loins. Sinbad glanced back at me, "Marina?", with concern.

I looked at him, "I stand corrected. They're coming, Sinbad.", rubbing my baby bump anxiously, and Sinbad's eyes widened in shock, "Shit!", before snapping around to face Eris, "And the second condition?".

Eris looked at him with a raised eyebrow and glanced over at me before widening her eyes slightly, "Ah, I see. For you, Sinbad, the second condition is that you have to confess something, and I mean, with all your soul. You have to proclaim that I, Eris, the Goddess of Chaos and Discord, is the most powerful and greatest Goddess of all the known world and Mount Olympus, forever and ever. And you have to say it word for word, no skimming!".

Sinbad shouted, "What?! Are you freaking serious?!", and I snapped out, "Do it, Sinbad!", and Sinbad growled, "If you give your word on never harming my wife and children and all I hold to family and friends, I'll do it, Eris!".

Eris blinked and then smirked, "A hard bargain, but alright. On my word, I will never put harm on you, Marina, your children, your friends and family, for all eternity.", crossing her heart with a visible pink slash on her skin by her pinkie finger, "That good enough for you?".

I saw Sinbad about to reply with a nod when I shouted out in pain, suddenly feeling something go, and I heard a sloshing sound, looking down to see a puddle underneath me, hearing Rosi, "Her water broke! Sinbad, say it! We gotta get Marina out of here!".
