"I'm sorry. You had to lie to avoid a fight." Said Sakura, walking with her head down

"It's nothing. I just used my reputation to some use." Itachi said in mirth

Sakura gave a polite smile and they kept walking. According to the plan they should reach cloud village in 2 hours.

Team 7 reached Konoha. They started walking towards the Hokage tower to deliver their report. But Kakashi said

"You guys go home. I'll explain everything to Tsunade-sama. You're tired so just go and rest." And he left.

Naruto and Sasuke met each other's gaze and looked down in shame. They went to their home quietly. Sasuke sat down on the bed and stared at the wall in a daze. She was there. She was standing there, looking at me, she was alive but Itachi made her his puppet. He clenched his hands so hard the knuckles turned white. She was so close and I couldn't do a thing! She left with him! Itachi, I will make you pay for what you did to Sakura. he said as a glare formed on his face.

Naruto was staring at his ceiling in a daze. Sakura-chan…

Kakashi knocked the door and heard a 'come in'. he walked in and stood in front of her.

"How did the mission go, Kakashi?"

"it went fine. Turns out it was an hideout but when we reached there, it all destroyed. The person who gave the location was Sakura."

Tsunade looked up at him in disbelief

"What did you say? You mean she's alive, right?"

"Yes. She is alive and well. She's staying in Suna and works at a book store. And I must tell you, It was Sakura who killed Orochimaru and Kabuto. She and Itachi killed the two Akatsuki members, who we heard of recently, had died."

"She's a really strong person. But even the strongest people have weaknesses. And her weakness is us." Said Tsunade grimly

"Yes, I believe so." Said Kakashi in a sad voice

"I'll read your report. You can go."

"Yes, Tsunade-sama." And he left her office.

Sakura and Itachi reached cloud village. They were looking for Nii Yugito, the jinchuriki of two tailed beast. But when they found her she was running for her life being followed by Hidan and Kakuzu.

"Damn it, we have to hurry." And then ran towards Yugito. The stood before her

"We're here to help. You run. We'll fight them."

"o-okay. Thank you!" and she ran ahead.

Itachi and Sakura glared at Hidan and Kakuzu.

"What are you doing, Itachi?! Move or she'll run away! We have to capture her!" said Hidan

"I won't let you pass."

"Sakura, you take Hidan and I'll deal with Kakuzu."

She nodded and launched herself at Hidan to make him step back.

"Your blood smells sweet. Mind if I take a taste?" said Hidan creepily

"take this instead" she yelled and punched him in the cheek. Very hard.

Hidan glared at her, "Lord Jashin won't forgive you if you kill me."

"I don't believe in your stupid God or any God for a matter of fact."

"Damn you!" Hidan yelled as he swiped the weapon on Sakura dodged him. I remember Shikamaru tell me everything about this guy. I guess I have no choice. I will dismantle him. She thought grimly. Another swipe came but because of her agility, she jumped high enough and landed on his blade. She then moved forward and punched him in front of his neck. He yelled in pain and his weapon dropped. Sakura quickly formed cutting style chakra on her hand to chop off his head. He was immortal so that didn't stop him from speaking. Sakura had swiped off both arms and legs and removed his head. Sakura looked at Itachi amazed. He killed all four hearts and only one remained. He blew a fire ball and ran into the flames and pierced Kakuzu's last heart. Then he laid there dead.

"good job, Sakura" said Itachi approvingly

She smiled at him.

"We should drop Hidan's body in water otherwise he will keep talking."

"okay"

Itachi picked Hidan's head and despite his pleas, Itachi dumped it into the canal.

He started walking and he looked back saying, "Let's go."

Sakura came running and they left. She didn't know why but whenever she bet something, the bed was blank. Her face swollen n

Tsunade didn't know why but she felt pride when she heard that two more Akatsuki members have been killed. Way to go, Sakura, Itachi

She went back to work. She looked as her door swung open harshly.

"Calm down, Sasuke. Whats the matter?"

He looked down and his shoulders shook, "Did..did Sakura killed those Akatsuki members?"

Tsunade made a serious face, "I don't know who it is but I'm thankful to them."

"Yeah. Since she is with Itachi, she must to do a lot of dirty work."

Sasuke grimaced at the thought of people using Sakura like a rag doll. He wanted to help her.

"Can't you let me to look for her? Please now we know she's alive so we should look for her!"

"ENOUGH! You ask me this question again, you will stay at the hospital for the rest of your life. Now go."

Sasuke went out dejected.

Sorry kid. This is how it's supposed to be. I'm trying to clear it. And I want to talk to Sakura. She thought with amusement in her memories. Kakashi was growing tired with me. She thought and about it in empty space. Suddenly, there is a girl came in and wants to see you. Filled her last document and started reading. The door opened and it turned out to be was Sakura.

"Sakura? What are you doing here? Weren't you on a mission given by Kakashi?"

Sakura stood quiet making a stoic expression while Tsunade signed in a hurry.

Sakura spoke, "You always taught me not to drink on the job. And here you are doing the exact thing. Hypocrisy." Said Sakura with a smirk

Tsunade looked at her and found it amazing, she had killed Orochimaru and the Akatsuki.

"You're doing a good job."

"That's the reason I came alone. Itachi-san is sick. His lunges have been affected due to some unknown reason and he is getting weaker. I need a trustworthy partner to help me."

Hmm… "Can you think of anyone who would come?"

"Oh I right. I would like to have Sai accompany me. He's an ANBU."

"All right. Will you stay here today? I can arrange a room for you."

"NO thank you. I would just like to leave without knowing I was here. Thank you, shishou." She bowed and left

Tsunade sighed. She called an ANBU. He said, "I am Sai." Tsunade's eyes went wide when she looked at him. "You..you're the one I've been looking for since the past two days!"

"why? Where are you taking me?"

"Shut up and follow me." Snapped Tsunade. After making sure nobody was there. She told Sai about the plan. But she didn't mention time travel. He understood the gravity of the situation and agreed to become Sakura's partner.

"Thank you, Sai. You should leave before one hour. Good luck. Take care of her."

"I will do my best." And then he went off to pack. He didn't tell Danzo anything. If he did, that would just risk the mission. He left after 40 minutes. He was jumping on trees when suddenly, he felt a presence behind him. He looked around and saw nothing

"You're the same as you were back then, Sai." Said Sakura amusingly by coming from behind the bush.

"Hello, Sakura. I am told to be your partner in your mission."

"I know. I specifically asked for you."

Why would she need me?

"Okay. I want you to make a bird that will take us to Suna. Itachi-san is waiting there. Let's hurry."

"Understood."

Because of Sai's bird. They reached Suna in one day. Sakura led Sai to a secluded house.

"You live here? It's not safe."

"It's the best thing. Nobody comes here and village is accessible and I always am in a disguise."

Sai nodded.

They both went in to see Itachi. Sakura opened his door.

"Itachi-san? I'm back."

"Hello Sakura. Did you find someone trust worthy?"

"yeah" she said cheerily. Then Sai came in the room and greeted him.

"okay. Rest for now. I'll brief you about your mission tomorrow."

Sakura went to heal him. Itachi tried to stop her and told her to rest. But she didn't stop. Ah…This girl is too stubborn.
