Author's note from SpecialK92:

Now we're getting to the point where Tommy and Kimberly will start their new journey. What will they encounter?

It was getting late, and Tommy had been driving all day. Just as the sun was sitting Tommy and Kimberly were looking for a place to pull over and rest until morning. They spotted a woodland area and they drove a little bit into the woods and stopped near a tree.

"Ms. Hatten is going to freak out tomorrow when we don't show up for school," Kimberly commented.

"Right now, staying alive is more important than gaining an education," Tommy grimaced. "If we are dead, what good would an education do for us?"

"You've got a really good point," Kimberly agreed as they walked into the kitchen. "But, I still think that Ms. Hatten is going to blow her top over the fact that we've disappeared."

"I agree with you," Tommy added as he opened the refrigerator. "I hope that we will be able to find out where I am originally from. What you would like for dinner, a rack of lamb, or steak tarter."

"We have no royal chief or parent to tell us what to eat!" Kimberly laughed as she took a seat. "Why don't we try something that we haven't had before? Like a TV dinner."

"I have two chicken nugget TV dinners with macaroni and cheese, corn, and a brownie," Tommy stated. "I remember that these were some of the things we wanted to try as kids growing up, but we were told they weren't healthy."

After dinner, Kimberly smiled at Tommy. "These weren't as amazing as I thought they'd be when we were younger," Tommy said.

"I agree," Kimberly replied. "We missed a crucial part of the meal. It's called a TV dinner and we weren't sitting in front of the TV."

...

Outside it was dark, Kimberly was fast asleep on the couch, which had been pulled out into a bed when a loud thumping sound woke her up and caused her to sit up. There was screaming coming from outside. Lots of screaming. "Tommy?" she called out, reaching carefully for her crutches, as it was pitch black inside the RV.

Tommy shot up from the table, reaching out to the counter by the stove, and grabbed something, "Stay there Kim," he insisted, "I'll be right back."

Tommy crept over to the side door that lead outside and tugged on the handle, locked, just like it was supposed to be. He nodded his head in satisfaction before climbing into the cab area checked that both the driver and passenger doors were locked as well. Sighing, he climbed back into bed, pulling the blinds up as he flipped a switch.

Outside the world was suddenly bathed in light as a light on the outside of the RV was turned on. Tommy peered outside and chuckled, "It's just a storm," he informed Kimberly, "It must have blown in while we were sleeping."

Kimberly hobbled over to him, peering over his shoulder at the woods beyond them. Something moved outside.

Tommy's hand tightened on his Morpher, but before he could do anything else, Kimberly gasped, "Oh the poor little thing."

Tommy blinked, looking more closely, it was a dog who had wandered into the campsite.

"Tommy, we can't leave that poor dog out there on its own, it will get wet," Kimberly insisted, "Please, let's take him in, please?"

"I don't know..." Tommy said softly.

"Please," Kimberly repeated, blinking her doe-colored eyes up at Tommy and sticking out her bottom lip.

Tommy sighed, "Okay, I guess," he said, walking over to the door, unlatching it and flinging it open, "Come here boy," he called out.

The dog quickly darted forward jumping into the RV and shook himself dry. Tommy grunted, swiping water from his face, before opening a cupboard and pulling out a can. Tommy opened the can of soup and poured it onto a plate, which he offered to the dog.

The dog gobbled the food up jumped up onto Kimberly's bed with her, curled up and went to sleep.
