Hello my fellow readers! It's been a long while, but now, I'm back! Today, for this chapter, I have a few surprises! Now, I know some are disappointed that I didn't do the JOJO but Really Fast chapter, but rest assured, that will be coming up after this one, so hang onto your seats!
But enough of the talk! Let's get back into the story!
Warning: the following chapter contains some semblance of robot violence and gore along with sheer raw epicness. Viewer description is advised.
After a few moments of hogging down food, the party regroups back at the basement theatre. There were murmurs and chitchatting downstairs. "So Yang, you enjoying your birthday so far?" Tri asked. "It's really fun! Thank you for treating me to this!" Said the blonde brawler. Qrow patted his niece's head. "Well, we're glad you're having a lot of fun here, kiddo, cuz we're also having a blast as well." They then look at Ruby, who was vacuuming up cookie crumbs like Kirby. "Heh, cute little kid." Jaune chuckled.
Suddenly, the doorbell rung.
"Don't worry guys, I'll get it!" Tri hollered before running up, but Winter noticed that the way he ran was more of skipping like a happy child going to the playground. "I wonder why Mister Aytee is so happy today?" Glynda thought. Just then, out of the blue, Tri came back down, but this time, with a green-haired woman following him.
Her green hair was extremely long, extending almost to her ankles, and had gold headwear around her forehead that was shaped like small wings. She had green eyes almost similar to Glynda's and a gold chain necklace hung on her neck with a gold medallion of some sort. On both her arms were golden forearm and bicep armor while her dress was white with red and gold hems and across her waist was a garter belt. Finally, her shoes were brown high heels and she wore a stocking over her left leg. This was the goddess of light herself, Palutena.
Everyone stared in awe. They never expected their second guest to be this beautiful. As Palutena walked down the stairs, she followed Tridori while her arm was wrapped around his. "Hello everyone. I am Lady Palutena, but you can just call me Palutena." Spoke the green-haired woman with such gentleness. "Whoa, she's hot!" Mercury called out, only to be smacked across the head by Emerald. "OW!"
"Everyone, this is Palutena. The ruler of Skyworld and the Goddess of Light." Introduced the Star-Lord of the Multiverse. "Goddess of Light? For real?" Nora asked.
"Yes, indeed I am."
"Intriguing. I have never seen an actual Goddess in the flesh out of all my lifetimes." Ozpin muttered.
"Alright, now is everyone done with the chatter? We got another world to visit!" Tri abruptly said, causing Ruby and Nora to say "Awww..." before heading back to their seats.
From the rooftop of a factory, a giant robot comes crashing down and lands in a squat position. Suddenly, another one who was of similar size came through one of the walls of the facility.
The first one had a red and blue color scheme for the armor along with a metallic-colored body. His legs were blue and had his truck mode's wheels mounted on the sides along with gas tanks. His waist was silver while his torso was a truck's grill. His chest armor was the windshields of a truck with silver on the top rims while his waist armor was metallic silver. His shoulders were red with white striping on the front and completely white on the sides while his smokestacks were mounted on the completely white surface. His arms were red with small yellow triangles on the wrists and his hands were metallic silver. His face bore a white mouthplate that covered his silver face and finally, his head was blue with 2 antenna-looking parts and a mohawk piece in the center. This was Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. (Bumblebee solo movie design with Rise of The Beasts modifications and TFP Optimus' face)
"Did you miss us? Ah, you know you did!" Said the other one, named Bumblebee, who began to fire at Starscream, providing a form of cover fire that allowed Ren, Ruby, and Jaune to escape. "This'll be over before it begins!"
"Go, go, go!" Ren shouted over the thunderous gunfire.
"SO COOL!" Ruby squealed like a baby. "And I'm finally in this world!"
"Gotta admit, that's some cool design there." Coco thought to herself.
"So, who are the good guys?" Jaune asked out of curiosity.
"I guess the creepy-looking ones are the bad guys." Nora shrugged.
Optimus then leaped into the air, and in slow motion, fired shots at a gunmetal grey robot dubbed Megatron. As he slowly approached the ground, his left hand reached for his back to grab another one of his weapons. As he landed, he began to fire more rounds at Megatron, but at the same time, managed to knock Starscream away like a fly. He then fired a shot from his barrage cannon (the one held on his left). This particular round was so powerful, it sent Megatron flying out of the factory.
"Damn, that's some strong firepower," Qrow remarked.
"That gun that Optimus just used is called the Barrage Cannon. It is said to have a range of up to 60 miles and fires plutonium tipped warheads at a rate of 6 warheads per second, each one carrying the equivalent of 3,000 lbs of TNT." Palutena explains, thanks to her 'guidance' ability.
"Bumblebee! I'll take care of Megatron!" Optimus calls out as he sees Megatron fleeing, transforming into his tank form. The autobot swiftly transforms himself into a red and blue cab-over truck with white striping and silver parts. Jaune quickly opened the door, entered Optimus, and quickly drove off.
"Leave these guys to us!" Bumblebee reassured before skidding to a halt, opening his doors to let Ren and Ruby inside. "C'mon! Let's go!"
Meanwhile, Optimus drove off, fleeing from the factory and driving right into the forest of Hinoki. "Here he comes!" Jaune warns Optimus just as a shot from the Decepticon leader's tank barrel hits the path in front of them. Optimus, in response, abruptly transforms into robot mode. "You're all mine!" Megatron exclaims, charging headfirst into the Prime as he's transforming. Optimus grabs Jaune in one hand as they tumble into the forest of Hinoki's trees. Jaune accidentally gets dropped as he quickly runs to take cover. "Hide, Jaune!"
Optimus delivers a right hook to Megatron's face, the latter tackles Prime once again to the ground. Jaune runs from tree to tree, desperately watching the two metal titans duking it out.
"You're weak, Prime! You could barely hold me off!" Megatron mocks.
"Oh really?!" Optimus retorts. "How's THIS?!" He then takes a tree trunk and smashes the Decepticon with it. "Pathetic!" Megatron responds before recieving a left punch in the spine by his red and blue opponent.
"The war is over, Megatron! You've lost!" He says as he ducks Megatron's swing and performs a right counter swing across the face, again. "Now you have to pay for all your crimes!" With this, Prime unleashes an orange Energon sword from his right arm and jams it straight into his opponent's left arm joint. "This has been a long! Time! Coming!" He then elbows Megatron in the face before grabbing him and tossing him even further.
"This is too cool for me to bear!" Ruby cheered. "That sword looks like the fire sword that I saw back when I first joined at Beacon!"
"Always the weapons nerd, aren't you, red?" Roman sighed.
"Those blades are quite interesting..." Cinder thought.
"That's because those swords are powered by a quantum electric generator with a max yield of a thousand degrees Celsius and a burn rate of 5 kilojoules per second," Tridori informed them.
"Remarkable! Atlas must have this!" Winter said again before taking down notes. "This will be able to let our Atlesian knights and soldiers cut through Grimm like swiss cheese!"
Velvet began to take out her camera to try and get a good shot of Optimus' Energon sword.
"You're not superior to me, Optimus Prime!" Megatron managed to spit out. By his word, a helicopter Decepticon named Grindor transformed from chopper to robot and charged through the forest, readying his chopper blades. Starscream returns, transforming from fighter jet to robot mode. He rips apart a tree and starts running towards Jaune.
"They're capable of transformation, too?" Ozpin wondered aloud.
"Duh, I mean, why are they called Transformers?" Tri responds with a chuckle. "Besides, all Autobots and Decepticons are capable of transformation. It's like an ability that they're born with."
Jaune, seeing Starscream coming his way, started to sprint from the battlefield. Megatron soon follows, but Optimus stops him again by tackling him. "I won't let you do this!" The Decepticon then tries to kick Optimus, only for him to catch his left foot and crush it with his elbow before kneeing his opponent in the face. "Since you put it that way, Optimus Prime, I wish you had a-" Starscream began as he fired his Gatling at the red and blue robot, only to be shut up as Prime grabbed him, punched him, and put him in a headlock as he kicked Megatron away with his left foot. He then lifts Starscream upside down, yelling "BEAT IT!" before kicking Starscream straight in the face.
Elsewhere, Bumblebee returns with a cavalry of other Autobots heading to the forest of Hinoki.
"I am here for the source of Energon hidden on this planet. So tell me, WHERE IS IT?" Megatron asks. Optimus' response? He delivers a two-fisted hit that sends him staggering, but only to receive a surprise hit by Starscream across the face. Grindor grabs him by the head, in which Optimus swings his right arm in his face, trying to get him to let go, but the helicopter Decepticon uses his chopper blades to cut at the Autobot's torso, causing him to cry out in pain. Starscream comes back with a buzzsaw slash, cutting at Optimus' left shoulder, and as he falls towards the seeker, Starscream gashes his buzzsaw across his chest, stunning him as he attempts to deflect another slash.
"This isn't looking good..." Qrow grits his teeth. Seeing the Autobot leader getting ganged up by 3 enemies at once was opening up some of his old war wounds.
"Those bastards...!" Yang growled.
"He needs to find his footing, fast." Pyrrha comments.
"I don't think he can, Pyrrha. Optimus suffered so much damage, so how can he?" Weiss questions.
Continuing the coup de grace on his archnemesis, Megatron grabs Optimus' head and tosses him into another set of trees, and just as Optimus finds his footing...
*CRASH!*
Megatron's right kick smashes right into Optimus' face, completely obliterating his mouthplate. Optimus reels back from the thunderous kick, screaming in pain.
"OPTIMUS!" Cried out the blonde boy.
Prime struggles to get his feet under him as Starscream fires a missile at him, followed by a series of bullets, pushing him back as Megatron staggers him with his right arm. He laughs as he fires his Fusion Cannon at point-blank range, destroying more of his armor and sending him flying, nearly crushing Jaune. Optimus stabs his Energon sword into the ground, trying to hoist himself up as he spits out a piece from his mouthplate and some droplets of Energon.
His left optic was shut, the left side of his head nearly torn apart, and his entire body was riddled with bullet holes, dents, slash marks, a huge crack on his windshield chest, and bent metal as he struggled to find his footing.
Ruby and a few other younger members in the audience gasped when they saw Optimus' faceplate get destroyed. Her eyes widened in horror when she saw Optimus' wounds from the coup de grace.
"This can't be how a fight ends, Prime." Megatron mocks. "For eons, we've battled and this is too anti-climatic! I demand satisfaction!" He adds on as he activates his Fusion Cannon's blade. Seeing the Decepticon leader approaching Optimus, Jaune quickly begs the Prime to get back up. "Come on! Get up!"
"Come on, get up, Optimus! Get up! Heroes always win!" Ruby exclaims, shocking Glynda, Ozpin, Tridori, and Palutena.
"Get up, Optimus!"
"Protect Jaune with your life!" Pyrrha says.
"Go, Optimus!" Blake quietly cheered, taking out a tiny flag that wrote "OPTIMUS PRIME" on it and waving it.
"Find your footing fast, soldier!" Winter added.
"BREAK HIS LEGS LIKE HOW YOU DID BEFORE!" Nora cheered.
"Nora, no!" Ren said.
"Nora, YES!" Replied the ginger-haired girl.
Optimus, fueled by Jaune's encouragement and with piping hot rage, starts to get back up again. "You'll never stop at one!" He says, and rising back up like a boxer who just got knocked down, he unleashes his other Energon sword on his left arm. "I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON!"
With a cry of rage, Optimus lunges himself at the 3 Decepticons again, his swings becoming swifter and ruthless. "You're still hopelessly outclassed!" Megatron says. "I'm not holding anything back!" Optimus retorts, jamming his blades into Starscream's right joint before he takes out his right one to shave off Grindor's copter blades and cut off his right arm, causing it to fly uncontrollably towards Megatron. He then continues to hack and slash at the seeker and chopper Decepticon. "And I thought you weren't going to defend yourself..." Mutters the Decepticon leader.
"Prepare to be-!" Starscream began before Optimus headbutts him and then lunges towards Megatron to stab his left blade into his opponent's left leg, rips it out, and jams it back in, this time in the chest. "FOR CYBERTRON!" He declares, jabbing his sword into his left arm, and as he tries to get up, Prime quickly delivers a right punch to the face before uppercutting him with his left blade, knocking him off his feet.
"Whoa, he's REALLY mad!" Neo comments.
"I gotta learn to do that!" Yang says with glee.
"YES!" Ozpin cheers, but then quickly sits down afterward. "I mean, he's doing very well." Glynda can only say "Mmhmm."
"Give it up, Starscream!" Optimus says as he grabs the seeker's right arm and rips it off. "MY ARM!" Screams the second-in-command as he gets whacked in the face by his own arm. Finally, Prime unleashes an Energon hook from his right arm to hook onto Grindor's face.
"Oh, right. You might want to cover your eyes, Ruby." Tridori says.
"What? Why?" Ruby asks.
"J-just close 'em." Responds the teenager.
Optimus then climbs onto Grindor's shoulders and mashes his left hook into Grindor's face. Grindor lets out a horrific cry and with a single strong tug, the Autobot leader cleaves his entire head off, Mortal Kombat style. Afterward, he then climbs off, dragging down Grindor's headless corpse.
"Note to self, NEVER piss off Optimus Prime." Roman whistles.
"I've never seen any hunter be this ruthless before. Not a single one." Qrow remarks.
"Surrender while you still can, Megatron!" Optimus says. However, Megatron grabs his opponent and impales the Prime from the back with his blade. Optimus cries out in pain as he struggles to get off. "Child's play! Now it's YOUR turn!" Megatron says, firing a single round that completely obliterates Prime's spark, killing him.
The audience was entirely shocked. Team RWBY and JNPR gasped at the killing blow.
"OPTIMUS!" Ruby cries with Esidisi tears. She hugs her big sister, the latter who embraces the red-clad leader. "It's OK, Rubes," Yang says.
"No..." Weiss mutters, covering her mouth with her hands.
Jaune looks on in horror as Optimus collapses. "I would have waited an eternity for this." Megatron remarks. Optimus, with his last breath, whispers "Jaune...run..." before deactivating.
With this, Jaune quickly sprints to Bumblebee as the cavalry finally arrives, shooting at the surviving Decepticons so that Jaune and the humans can escape.
"Now, I know most of you are sad that Optimus died, but if you thought it was over, THINK AGAIN!" Tri told them.
"What?!" Winter shouted.
"What Tridori means is that there's a part 2 that follows the events that you have just witnessed." Palutena explains.
"Wait, so you mean that Optimus will be back?" Jaune asked.
"Yes, he will return," Ren assured him. "Heroes may die and face death, but they will be reborn to combat evil once again."
