Chapter 14
"What are you doing go after her?" Ginny said snapping Filch out of his trance. He sat down in the now vacant chair across from Ginny. I can't go after her." "Why not?" "She is underage and a student." Ginny shook her head "Do you love her?" "Yes I do, but it doesn't matter." "Yes it dose, Hermione loves you, you heard it yourself." Before Filch could say anything Ron came over looking furious.
"What's happened? Why did Hermione run off like that?" when no response came he glared at Filch. "Ron stop he didn't do anything." "I'll find out for myself once I find Hermione, and with that Ron dashed out of the great hall. Ginny looked at Argus "Do you really want my brother to find her first?" Argus didn't even need to think "no." Ginny smiled then go get her. I would try Myrtle's bathroom." "Thank you Miss Weasley." Argus stood up and quickly left the great hall.
Argus now found himself standing outside the abandoned girl's bathroom. He was currently having a battle within himself, he wanted to see if Hermione was in there but it was still a girl's bathroom. He decided to knock on the door. Myrtle came out, "Have you seen Hermione?" The ghost giggled "no w-", not waiting for her to finish Argus took off back down the corridor.
"MR. FILCH!" Filch froze at the sound of Harry's voice behind him. "She's at the astronomy tower just trust me." Filch decided to take Potter's word for it he quickly headed up to the astronomy tower. Once he made it up there, he quickly spotted Hermione sitting on the on the ground with her knees up to her chest and leaning against the wall.
"Hermione' he said gently while walking over to her. She wouldn't look up at him, but he heard her sniffle. Argus knelt down in front of her. "Hermione" he tried again putting his finger under her chin and lifting her head up. "Please don't cry my sweet." He wiped her tears with his thumb. "I'm sorry Argus." She said continuing to cry. Argus pulled her into his arms. "Did you mean everything you said?" He could feel her nodding against his chest. "Hermione please look at me." She did as he requested, "don't be sorry" he whispered before Hermione could respond he gave her a quick kiss. She looked up at him in shock. "I feel the same about you," he then added in a whisper "I love you."
