Saving Michiru

100 years after helping Kiyo and recruiting Hone Onna it was now Michiru Sagae's time. Reina remembered what happened in Michiru's past and felt sorry for her as much as she felt sorry for Ai and Yuzuki. Reina had brought her companions to Michiru's town. "This is a nice old town" said Wanyuudou. Ren noticed something happening in someone's house because a lot of people were standing outside. "What are they doing over there?" he asked. "A man named Mr Sagae, who lives here, is starting to put in electric lights into this town; this town hasn't started using electricity yet" said Reina. "So not all towns are up to date yet huh?" said Hone Onna. The group watched Mr Sagae getting praised by the townspeople and they saw his wife and daughter all smiling. "They seem a very nice family" said Wanyuudou. "That man sure is popular because he brought electricity to this town" said Ren. "Yes but that popularity is what's going to get his family into danger if we don't do something now" said Reina.

Reina transported to the landlord's house with her companions. Right not the landlord and his family were complaining due to their jealousy of Mr Sagae. "I take it that's the landlord of this village?" asked Hone Onna. "Yes and right now he is showing his jealousy" said Reina. She explained the landlord hates the fact Mr Sagae is popular then him with the townspeople. "These landlords always wish to be the most respected people in all the lands, but now Mr Sagae is gaining all the respect" said Reina. "What are we going to do Reina-san?" asked Ren. "You'll see tomorrow" said Reina.

The next day Reina and her companions saw the landlord's son Eisaku and his two friends bullying Michiru and dragging her off somewhere. "Come on you three, Michiru is in terrible danger" said Reina. She didn't have time to explain to her companions what was going to happen now, so they quickly followed the kids. Right now they came to the lake and Eisaku and his friends started to try and push Michiru into the lake. This was the time for Reina to start taking action.

"Stop right there!" shouted Reina. The kids saw Reina and her companions and the boys panicked. "Grab those boys!" Reina shouted to Ren, Hone Onna and Wanyuudou. The boys tried to run away but Wanyuudou, Ren and Hone Onna were quicker than them. Wanyuudou grabbed Eisaku and Ren and Hone Onna grabbed the other two boys. Reina went over to Michiru to comfort her. "Are you okay?" Reina asked her. "Yes but they were" said Michiru. "I know I saw everything Michiru-chan," said Reina "everything is okay now". Reina walked over to the boys. "Is this the way for a son of a landlord to behave?" Reina said to Eisaku. Eisaku just huffed, showing no remorse for what he was going to do. Reina knew trying to deal with Eisaku and his parents wasn't going to be easy, but she already had an idea of what to do. She stared hard at the boy's eyes; she had the power to hypnotise with her eyes. (Kind of like the power in the demon headmaster) "Now you three boys, especially you Eisaku, are going to tell your parents what you did and what you tried to do to Michiru," said Reina, hypnotising them, "and you are going to explain why you did it. Do you understand?" "Yes we understand" said the boys, having no idea they were being hypnotised. After finishing hypnotising the boys, Wanyuudou, Ren and Hone Onna started leading the boys back to the village, while Reina held onto Michiru and continued comforting her.

Back in the village Mr Sage and his wife were talking to some townspeople, but then everyone noticed Reina and her companions holding onto Michiru and the three boys. Mr Sagae went up to Reina and asked her what was going on and Reina told him she will explain what was happening when they get to the landlord's home. Mr and Mrs Sagae and the two boy's parents followed the group to the landlord's house.

Once the group got to the landlord's house the landlord and his wife were told by a servant what was going on. The landlord was not happy to see his son being grabbed onto by somebody. "What's the meaning of this!" he demanded. "Do excuse me Mr Landlord," said Reina, calmly, "but we caught your son Eisaku and his two friends bullying Michiru Sagae and trying to drown her in the lake". Mr and Mrs Sage were shocked by that and Mrs Sage hugged her daughter at once. "Preposterous!" shouted the landlord's wife "my son would never do such a thing!" "Oh really," said Reina "why don't you ask your son and see if I am lying or not". "Eisaku you didn't really try to drown the young girl did you?" said the wife. "Actually mother I did" said Eisaku. Thanks to Reina's hypnotism Eisaku admitted his bullying to Michiru and his plan to drown Michiru all because of Mr Sage being all great and that. The landlord and his wife were shocked by this and so was everyone else. "I suggest Mr Landlord that you teach your son better manners;" said Reina "otherwise he may end up growing up to be a ruthless tyrant, who likes hurting or killing people to his pleasure or because of his emotions. Then end up in hell after he dies". She turned to the other boys' parents. "I suggest you do the same to your boys before it will be too late for them too". The two boys' parents grabbed their boys at once to get them home; they were not happy with what their boys nearly did to Michiru. They apologized to Mr and Mrs Sagae and promised to punish their boys at once. As for the landlord; he ordered his wife to take Eisaku into the house and keep him looked in his room till he says he could come out. Then he reluctantly apologized to the Sagae family and then went into the house, feeling very humiliated.

Mr Sagae walked over to Reina and her assistants. "Thank you for saving my daughter Michiru" he said. "You're welcome sir," said Reina "but I suggest you be careful and aware of the landlord and his family". "Reina-san's right," said Wanyuudou "I have met and seen many landlords in my time. Your landlord is clearly a selfish, greedy and prideful man who hates it when someone is considered greater than him". "But I have no intention of becoming a man greater than the landlord;" said Mr Sagae "I am only helping my town on bringing lights here and making the townspeople happy". "That doesn't matter to him I'm afraid;" said Reina "because you have become popular with the villagers because of your helpfulness, that's what sparked the landlord's jealousy". "It's true Mr Sagae;" said Hone Onna "landlords like yours always wish to be the number 1 person, and get nasty when they don't". Mr Sagae didn't like this, neither did his wife. "His son is no better because he clearly takes after his parents" said Ren. Reina turned to Michiru and told her to stay away from Eisaku and his friends just in case they bully her or try to do something nasty to her again.

After that the Sagae family agreed to be careful considering the landlord and his family after what happened. The townspeople agreed to help the Sagae family after hearing what happened. As for Eisaku and his friends, they were in big trouble. The two boys got walloped by their parents and were told off a lot, and their parents forbid them for being with Eisaku ever again. As for Eisaku, well he got punished a lot from his father because of the humiliation; his father had him locked up for a whole week after slapping him for punishment. The townspeople never stopped talking about what Eisaku did so they kept their children away from him too. Apart from being in disgrace, Eisaku ended up lonely due to not having any friends anymore. Reina and her companions kept an eye on Eisaku and his friends in case they did anything again, but so far they didn't.

One day Mr Sage and his family decided to move. Because of what Eisaku did to his daughter and what Reina and her companions said to him about the landlord, Mr Sage decided it wasn't safe for his family to stay in the town. He couldn't trust the landlord and his family and neither could his wife and daughter. The townspeople came to say goodbye to the Sagae family; they felt disappointed they were leaving, but understood why they were doing it. Reina came to say goodbye to the Sagae family too; she was glad the family was moving away because Michiru and her family would be safe now this time.

At that moment, the two boys and their parents came to say goodbye too. By now the boys felt ashamed and very sorry for what they did before. Mr and Mrs Sagae still felt untrusting towards the boys, but politely accepted their apologies. "I hope your boys have learnt their lessons by now" said Reina. "Yes; we have been making sure they haven't been bullying anyone else" said one of the parents. The boys stayed silent; they didn't want to get into any more trouble they already are.

It wasn't long till the Sagae family left the town and moved to another town. The landlord and his family thought good riddance because they were still jealous of Mr Sagae's popularity. But Eisaku was still in disgrace and the townspeople still kept their children away from him.

"I wonder how that landlord's son is going to turn out" said Hone Onna. "He won't be a great man when he grows up, that's for sure" said Reina. "At least that girl Michiru and her parents are safe, now they've moved away from here" said Wanyuudou. Reina was happy she saved Michiru and this time she would live a long, happy life.

I hope you all like how I've saved Michiru. She didn't deserve that terrible fate after what the boys tried to do to her. I'll do a special chapter about her and Ai later about how their lives went after they were saved.
