Helping Fukumoto
Years after saving Michiru and her parents, it was now the middle of the 1900's. Right now this was the time when Fukumoto, from episode 13, was a young man and his wife was still alive. Reina remembered what the man Okochi did to Fukumoto's wife and she planned to stop him. In fact as she remembered how some victim's suffering happened years before the episode's events happened, Reina decided it was a good idea to help the victims before the suffering happened; starting with Fukumoto.
"Who are we helping this time Reina-san?" asked Hone Onna. "We are going to stop this man named Okochi doing a terrible thing to another man named Fukumoto and his wife" answered Reina. She told her companions what Okochi would do to Fukumoto's wife if they didn't do anything. "So you're saying this Okochi guy will assault the wife just because Fukumoto will refuse to do something for him?" said Hone Onna. "Some bad people don't accept those who refuse to do what they are asked so easily" said Reina. "Don't you know that already Hone Onna?" teased Ren. Hone Onna frowned at Ren; she did know this seeing she had seen it before. "So Reina-san what do you want us to do?" asked Wanyuudou. "Ren I need you to keep an eye on Okochi," said Reina "Hone Onna you and I will get ready to stop Okochi and Wanyuudou I want you to get ready to contact the police when the time comes". Wanyuudou, Ren and Hone Onna understood their positions.
Thanks to Ren's ability to see everything with his eyes, Reina could know what was going on. Right now Okochi was asking Fukumoto if he could do a story on somebody. (As the Hell Girl thing doesn't exist I'm just going to make up what Fukumoto refuses to do here) Okochi had heard rumours of a man having an affair despite already being married with children. So he wants Fukumoto to find out more and write about it. "I refuse Okochi;" said Fukumoto "writing about these will cause pain for this man and his family and I have no intention of spreading anymore false rumours than there already are". Then he leaves.
"Well that Fukumoto is reasonable;" said Wanyuudou "writing a documentary about someone without permission is hurtful". "Yes he is a good man, but I'm afraid this is now going to drive Okochi to an edge," said Reina "everyone get into your positions now". Doing as they were told Ren, Hone Onna and Wanyuudou got ready to stop Okochi's crime. Ren kept his eye on him. Wanyuudou stood by an old fashioned phone booth to get ready to phone the police. As for Reina and Hanna Onna they went over to Fukumoto's house. Reina decided it was best to warn the wife now.
Reina knocked on the door and the wife answered it. "Please excuse us ma'am but can my friend and I come in, we have something very important to warn you about" said Reina. The wife felt fear after hearing Reina's words but she agreed to let her and Hone Onna in. "Now we don't mean to alarm you ma'am but an acquaintance of your husband is about to do something really nasty to you and your husband" said Reina. Reina and Hone Onna told the wife what Okochi wanted her husband to do and his refusal to do it. "My husband is not the type who would write mean things about people" said the wife. "We know, but Okochi is not the type of man who would take no for an answer," said Hone Onna "he is also the type of nasty man who would get back on anyone who refuses him". "That's why we believe Okochi will do something terrible to you to get back at your husband" said Reina. The wife was really worried now. "What should I do?" she asked. "Would you mind if Hone Onna and I stayed here ma'am?" asked Reina "we plan you catch that man in the act". The wife was afraid with this plan but agreed.
Reina's warning started to come true because Ren teleported to Fukumoto's house and told Reina that Okochi was coming. "Thanks for telling me Ren," said Reina "go and tell Wanyuudou to phone the police now. Hone Onna and I will deal with Okochi". Ren understood and did as he was told. Reina told the wife and Hone Onna to get into positions because Okochi was making his way to the house. The wife was scared but Hone Onna assured her that everything was going to be okay.
It wasn't long till Okochi knocked on the door and the wife answered it. Okochi was just about to grab the wife to assault her, but then he got grabbed by Hone Onna and Reina. "You're not assaulting anybody" said Hone Onna, angrily. Reina quickly grabbed Ockochi's hand gun, he was holding onto in his pockets, and Reina held the gun in front of him. "I'd keep still if I was you" warned Reina. Okochi felt helpless while having a gun shown in his face.
It wasn't long till the police came to arrest Okochi. Reina gave the gun to the police and told them what had happened. At that moment Fukumoto came home and he heard everything what happened from the police. His wife ran into his arms, crying, and Fukumoto comforted her. Reina went over to Fukumoto and his wife. "Thank you for saving my wife" said Fukumoto, gratefully. He saw Okochi get taken away from the police. "Did he really wish to attack my wife just to get back at me for refusing his request?" asked Fukumoto. "I'm afraid so sir," said Reina "that man is a real bastard who would do anything to get even with anyone who refuses him. He's the type who won't take no for an answer". Fukumoto frowned and hope Okochi will get what he deserves.
In the end Okochi was sentenced to jail for twenty years for attempted sexual harassment and for trying to make up stories on innocent people. It turned out Okochi did indeed misunderstood about that man who was said to have a secret affair; he didn't have one at all. So Fukumoto and his wife were saved from suffering and Reina hoped this time Fukumoto will be living a happy life.
I felt sorry for Fukumoto for suffering so much after what that jerk Okochi did to him and his wife. Reina will see him again in a later chapter.
