Helping Ryoko

After helping Mayumi it was time to help Ryoko Takamura from her unstoppable stalker. She remembered how Detective Kisaragi from episode 2 was one disgusting sicko who was completely obsessed with Ryoko and didn't care about her feelings.

So Reina-san who are we helping today?" asked Ren. "A poor young girl who is suffering due to a stalker" answered Reina. She told her companions everything about Detective Kisaragi and his obsession with Ryoko. "He keeps stalking her like crazy because of his 'love' for Ryoko, but he sends her love letters non-stop, send disgusting gifts like dead flowers headless dolls and bugs etc. Then he keeps on sending her very disturbing emails and phone calls non-stop. Worst of all he sneaks into the house and leaves gifts in her bedroom. Ryoko doesn't like this but that detective doesn't care". "How disgusting" said Hone Onna. "Yes and no matter what the family does; move house, change phone calls whatever, nothing stops him from continuing his stalking". "So what are we going to do Reina-san?" asked Ren.

Reina handed a recording camera to Ren and an ordinary camera to Yamawaro. "Ren I want you to record that detective while he makes phone calls outside Ryoko's house at night. Yamawaro I want you to take photos of him while he sneaks gifts into her bedroom. Don't let him see you or catch you". "Understood Reina-san" said Ren. Yamawaro understood too.

Over the next few days Ren and Yamawaro kept watch on the detective. Ren managed to record him phoning Ryoko while he stood outside her house at night, and Yamawaro managed to get a photo of him sneaking into Ryoko's room to leave her with a gift. Ren and Yamawaro made sure the detective didn't see them.

"Is this enough evidence Reina-san?" asked Ren. He and Yamawaro showed Reina the evidence they took. "Plenty," said Reina "okay Hone Onna and Wanyuudou you two will go to the police station and give them the evidence. Ren you will be telling Ryoko's parents about Kisaragi being the stalker. As for me I'm going undercover as Ryoko's friend and help her catch that detective in the act, and you three bring the police and Ryoko's parents to where I'll be. Yamawaro I'll need you to phone the detective and lie to him saying the stalker has got Ryoko hostage later". "Oh so we are going to trap him is that right?" asked Yamawaro. "Exactly, so does everyone understand my plan?" said Reina. The companions understood the mission. "Let's get to work now" said Reina.

The next day Reina disguised as a student at Ryoko's school and pretended to be her friend. When it was recess Reina asked Ryoko for a word in private. They went behind the school. "Is something wrong Reina?" asked Ryoko. "There is," answered Reina "do excuse me for prying but what's this about you being stalked?" Ryoko gasped. "How do you know that?" she asked. "Well my dad is a friend of somebody who works for the police you see, and I overheard them yesterday talking about you being stalked by somebody" Reina lied. Ryoko flinched, and then she slumped down onto the floor and started crying. Reina hugged Ryoko to comfort her. Ryoko started telling her what's been happening. "I really wish for it to stop" she sobbed. "It will stop Ryoko I know it will" said Reina. Ryoko still sobbed.

Meanwhile Ren went over to Ryoko's house to talk to her parents. He ran the doorbell. "Yes who is it?" said a voice from behind the door; it was Ryoko's mother. "Please excuse me for bothering you ma'am but I have info of your daughter's stalker" said Ren. Mrs Takamura quickly opened the door and let Ren into the house. Mr Takamura wasn't home because he was at work. "Please sir, please tell me you've found out who my daughter's mysterious stalker is," said Mrs Takamura "my husband has been to the police lots of times and they still can't find out who the stalker is". "I have found out ma'am, but you and your husband won't like it;" said Ren "the one who has been stalking your daughter is Detective Kisaragi". "What?!" gasped Mrs Takamura.

While Ren was telling the mother the truth, Hone Onna and Wanyuudou were standing outside the police station. They were waiting for detective Kisaragi to leave. "It's hard to believe the police here didn't notice what one of their own was really like" said Wanyuudou. "Yes but even the police cannot see the true nature of their own kind" sighed Hone Onna. At that moment Detective Kisaragi left the building. "Time we get to work" said Wanyuudou. He and Hone Onna went inside to give their evidence.

By now school was over. As the students started walking out of school, Reina ran up to Ryoko. "Hey Ryoko why don't you come to my place for a bit?" she asked. "Sorry Reina," said Ryoko "but because of that stalker my dad picks me up and takes me straight home. My parents don't want me to hang out with anyone till the stalker is captured". "I see what you mean" sighed Reina.

Suddenly Reina got a text from her phone. "Oh no" said Reina. She was worried it was her stalker again. Reina took her phone to look at it herself. "It's your dad Ryoko," said Reina "he said he's talking with the police at the moment so he'll be late". Ryoko sighed with relief that it wasn't her stalker. "Since your dad's late, how about we hang out around here till he gets back?" said Reina. "Won't you be late for home though Reina?" asked Ryoko. "Don't worry I told my mum already I was hanging out with you and she said it was okay" replied Reina. Ryoko felt a bit happy to have a friend with her, just in case the stalker came. While Ryoko wasn't looking, Reina looked up at a tree. Yamawaro was hiding there and Reina nodded at him. It was time to trap Detective Kisaragi.

At that time Detective Kisaragi was just about to make another disgusting move of buying an unwanted gift for Ryoko. But suddenly he got a call from Yamawaro. "Hello I just saw Ryoko Takamura get taken by somebody and their heading to the park near Ryoko's school; I think it was her mysterious stalker". Yamawaro quickly hung up. Kisaragi flinched when he got the call; as he was the stalker he didn't understand why Yamawaro told him her stalker had captured her. He started to believe it was somebody else after Ryoko. "Ryoko belongs to me and nobody else" he said. He quickly got into his car and headed off for the park.

At that time Reina and Ryoko were talking to each other when Reina saw Yamawaro. He nodded at her; this was the signal to let Reina know the detective was coming. Now for Reina's plan. While Ryoko was just about to say something, Reina quickly stopped her. "Shh sorry Ryoko but I fear we are being watched by somebody right now" she said. "Oh no it must be him again" said Ryoko, getting all freaked out again. "Be calm and silent and come with me" said Reina. The two girls ran towards the back of the park and hid behind some bushes. "If we hide here your stalker may come and we might finally see who it is" said Reina. Ryoko was still afraid, but Reina comforted her and told her again it was going to be alright.

At that moment Detective Kisaragi showed up and he started looking around like a mad man. "Grrr I don't know who sent me that phone message, but he better not be messing with me" he growled. Then he started to shout. "Ryoko belongs to me! She is mine! Nobody shall have her or stalk her except me!" Hearing that made Ryoko realize he was her stalker all this time.

Suddenly Reina grabbed Ryoko and they came out of the bushes; this was Reina's plan to confront the detective till the police got here. "It's you isn't it!" shouted Reina "you're Ryoko's stalker! She told me everything what you've been doing!" Ryoko was scared and hid behind Reina.

Kisaragi flinched once he saw Reina; he realised it was a trick. "Care to explain why you did it?!" shouted Reina "why did you keep sending creepy phone calls and text messages to her, sending her annoying letters, sending disgusting gifts to her and then sneak into her bedroom and leave gifts there too?!" The detective started to grin. "Why isn't it obvious?" he said "it's because I love her so much. What's the point of sending her letters and gifts and emails if I don't love her?" "Well I hate to break it but Ryoko here doesn't love you, do you Ryoko?" said Reina. Ryoko bravely shouted out that she didn't like him, and that his stalking had been ruining her life. "There you see!" shouted Reina "besides who would like a perverted creep like you?!" Detective Kisaragi started to get really angry and berserk. "Why?" he said "why won't you understand my love for you Ryoko? Why won't you accept it?"

Before he could do anything, Mr Takamura ran up and punched the detective in the face really hard. "You b*****d!" he shouted "how dare you lie to me and make my daughter suffer like this!" What had happened was after Ren told Mrs Takamura the truth, she phoned her husband and told him the truth. Mr Takamura was just about to hit the detective some more but then the police arrived on the scene and arrested Kisaragi. "What's the meaning of this?!" demanded the detective. "You are under arrest for stalking Ryoko Takamura" replied an officer. Another officer revealed the evidence Honna Onna and Wanyuudou gave them to Kisaragi. Kisaragi flinched; with the evidence, he couldn't find a way out of it.

After Detective Kisaragi was arrested, the chief of the police apologized to the Takamura family. He had no idea Kisaragi was the one behind the stalking all the time. Of course Mr Takamura was not happy with the fact that he had been lied to by the detective all the time, and that the police had no clue it had been one of their own. But as Kisaragi was now arrested and because of Ryoko's pleases, he didn't make any more grudges nor wished to sue them. Mr and Mrs Takamura thanked Honna Onna, Wanyuudou and Ren for what they did. Ryoko thanked Reina for comforting her and for standing up to Kisaragi for her. The group was happy this quest was successful.

In the aftermath Ryoko and her family were happy again, now Detective Kisaragi had been arrested. Ryoko had to visit a therapist to get over her trauma but she was recovering nicely. The police force ended up with a bit of a bad reputation thanks to the detective, and the police officers were going to be kept under a strict supervision just in case any other police officer or detective acted suspiciously in secret. As for the detective, he was found guilty for what he did and condemned for life in jail. He also lost his title as a detective. Ryoko was happy her stalking days were over and now she could get back to living a happier life.

Poor Ryoko; having to suffer because of that Quack detective. I hope you like how I helped her.
