Hello, everyone! PHANTOMKNIGHTMARE47 here, with the fifth chapter of Sonic Forces 2: The Return of Eggman, where in this chapter, Sonic and co. raid an Eggman Base on Mobius, being managed by Doctor Starline the Platypus. However, Starline is having the Deadly Six guard the base, due to the fact he is forcing them into servitude through the Cacophonic Conch. So, while Sonic, Shadow and Silver fight the Deadly Six, Noah and the others face off against Starline and his underlings. Will they be able to stop Starline from ruining the lives of many Mobians? Chapter 5: The Downfall of Dr. Starline
It cuts to Dr. Starline, doing some research on the computer, until he notices a group of six creatures arrive. These were the Zeti, in this case, the Deadly Six.
The leader, Zavok, was a red Zeti with a very stocky build. The majority of his upper body is pure red, as is his serpentine tail. He has five-fingered hands that end with sharp cyan-colored nails. Zavok's body from the waist down is black in coloration, ending in two-clawed feet with cyan toes. His head is relatively small compared to the rest of his body and his lower jaw sticks out, showing a row of spiked fangs. The upper half of his head is black save for red markings around his eyes, which are purple with yellow sclera. Zavok has what appears to be a relatively thick cyan-colored unibrow that forms a vaguely V-shaped crest. Sticking out from the sides of his head, Zavok has two vicious curved horns that are striped in varying shades of dark gray. Zavok has a large cyan piece of hair sticking out from the back of his head. Zavok has two rows of sharp black spikes sticking out of his shoulders. His only attire seems to be a pair of black bracelets with gray spikes jutting out.
The second one, Zazz, was a very tall and very lanky Zeti, with very thin limbs and body structure. The upper half of his body appears to be vibrant pink, while his body from the waist down is pure black, ending in two-clawed feet with purple toes. A third much smaller claw appears to jut out from his heels. Zazz has a long tail that appears to be bent into a vague "Z" shape, like Knuckles. Zazz has a row of small black spikes running down his back, from the base of his neck to the middle of his spine. Zazz's thin arms end in proportionately large five-fingered hands, each finger tipped with purple nails. Zazz has an oblong head with a large gaping mouth, which is never closed. He has long, thin, sharp teeth and a long cyan tongue, which is almost always seen hanging out the side of his mouth. He has green irises with yellow sclera and black markings under each eye. On the top of his head, Zazz has a pair of horns that point outwards, colored in alternating rings of black and light purple. Between them is a mohawk of purple hair. For attire, Zazz wears a pair of black wrist cuffs with gray spikes on them, and a matching spiked collar.
The sole female of the Deadly Six, Zeena, was a lime-green female Zeti with a slender upper body that curves out into fairly wide hips. Zeena's upper body is lime green with two black stripes around her waist, while the lower half of her body is black. Zeena's small feet are tipped by small lime green claws, with a third smaller one on each heel. Zeena's tail is thin and curly, ending in a chameleon-like swirl. Her wrists have black stripes around them while her five-fingered hands are black, each digit tipped by a hot pink nail. Zeena has long green hair that parts to the right, extending down to her lower legs. On the left side of her head Zeena has a single curved horn with an alternating black and hot pink coloration. Her circular eyes are surrounded by black rings, while her eyes are blue with yellow sclera and amber eyelids, and her lips are orange.
The founder of the Deadly Six, Master Zik, was a small, elderly Zeti. His head was sky blue, while the rest of was body is black. He wears a robe that matches the color of his torso with a torn hem on his wrists and around the waist. His short black legs end with two blue claws, with a third claw on each heel. Master Zik has five fingers on each sky blue hand, each finger tipped with a blue nail. Master Zik has wrinkles across his forehead and lips, and a long white mustache which reaches down to his feet. He has a pair of very short horns on his head, which are colored in black and yellow rings. He is largely bald sans for a long strand of white hair. Master Zik's sclera are yellow with purple irises, while he has blue eyelids and black under-eyes. Master Zik carries a wooden staff that is taller than he is, which ends in a inward swirl at the top.
Zomom was an obese-looking Zeti. His upper body is a vibrant orange-yellow color. His thick arms end with equally large five-fingered hands with yellow nails. His lower body is pure black, and Zomom's legs are so stubby to be nearly non-existent. His flat feet are each tipped with a pair of yellow claws, with a third on the heel. Zomom appears to have some sort of stubby tail.
Zomom has thick yellow lips and has many missing teeth, with some of his remaining teeth being chipped. Unlike the other Zeti, however, Zomom's teeth are square in shape instead of sharp fangs. Zomom has small red eyes with yellow sclera, with black markings surrounding each eye. As seen in the cutscenes, both of Zomom's eyes rarely point in the same direction. Zomom is fully bald, unlike the other Zeti. On the top of his head Zomom appears to have four relatively short yet sharp horns, each one being striped black and red. On his wrists, Zomom wears a pair of black bracelets with gray spikes
The spy of the Deadly Six, Zor, was the more diminutive of the group. This may be in part due to Zor's poor posture, as he always stands with a heavy slouch. Zor's upper body is white, while his body from the waist down is black. He has short, skinny legs with two cyan claws, with a third smaller claw on each heel. Zor has a thin, rat-like tail that is white in coloration. His arms are thin and gangly, while he has five-fingered hands with cyan nails. Unlike most of the other Deadly Six, Zor wears fingerless black gloves on each hand. Zor's head is oblong-shaped, and the majority of it is covered in vibrant purple hair, with one bang covering the right side of his face. Zor has blue eyes with yellow sclera, which are always angled to give the impression that he is depressed, and framed with black markings. He has large purple lips with dark grey freckles above them. On the top of his head Zor has a pair of horns that curve backwards, with an alternating black and cyan coloration. Zor seems to always carry a blue rose with him.
"What the Hell do you want, Starline?" said Zavok, scowling at the platypus mad scientist.
"Easy. I want you to kill Sonic and his friends." said Starline, matter-of-factly.
"Wait, kill!?" said Zeena "No way in Hell, bub. The Deadly Six aren't assassins."
"I suppose I have no other option." said Starline, as he took out a dark-colored conch shell. This was the Cacophonic Conch, a Zeti's weakness. By blowing into it, it could cause a Zeti extreme discomfort.
"You wouldn't…!" said Zavok, eyes widening in shock.
"Oh, but I would, and I can." said Starline. "Now, are you gonna terminate Sonic and his friends?"
"We'll do it." said Zavok. "But we won't enjoy it."
"Excellent." said Starline, tenting his fingers together ala Mr. Montgomery C. Burns from The Simpsons.
Later, it cuts to Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Tails, Knuckles, Shade, Amy, Rouge, Blaze, Fiona, Cyo, Bonnie, Noah, Noire, Corey, Inferno, Ember, Zach, Yutaro, Madison, Talon, Tanaris, Luna, Randy, Stacey, Brad, Tanya, Maverick, Grayson, Hurricane, Humphrey, and Trevor as they arrived at the Egg-Base.
"Let's go take down Starline." said Sonic. Suddenly, they looked to see a blue colored rose sail towards them like a throwing dart. Sonic looked to see the Deadly Six facing them.
"Oh great, these putzes again." said Sonic,
"We'll help you." said Shadow, as he, Silver, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, and Shade joined them along with Noire and Yutaro.
"The rest of us will face off against the rest of Starline's goons." said Noah.
"Good luck, fellas." said Sonic. He then squared off with Zavok, and managed to land some blows to his face, before delivering one final strike to Zavok's face, knocking the leader of the Deadly Six out cold.
Shadow managed to shoot Zomom in the face with an impact round, cracking the obese Zeti's skull, and knocking out several teeth, while knocking him out cold.
Yutaro simply tapped a pressure-point on Zor, knocking him out.
Zeena was beaten by a three-person team of Noire, Amy and Shade, who managed to knock her out with a three-girl punch to her face.
"You're despicable." Zeena said in a slurred voice. She then crumpled to the ground, out cold.
Zazz tried to whale on Silver, only to be telekinetically slung around like a ragdoll, and Silver psychokinetically broke all of Zazz's bones, save for his neck.
Knuckles simply knocked out Master Zik, with a slight bop to the head.
Meanwhile, Noah and the others managed to dispatch Surge and Kitsunami with pressure point strikes, and they entered Starline's laboratory.
"So, you wretched heroes have come to impede my progress, as usual." said Starline "Which means that the Deadly Six have botched their objective. Tch,"
"It's over, Starline. You're going down for good." said Noah.
"Oh really? I most passionately disagree. Because I believe that evil shall always prevail over good, and dreams like yours were never meant to come true." said Starline
"I most passionately disagree." said a voice, as Dow arrived, along with Yomi, Lien-Da, Bullet, and Antonio.
"We're leaving the Eggman Army, and helping Sonic in stopping people like you for good." said Lien-Da
"I'll make sure you miserable nobodies are tried for treason against the Eggman Army, and subjected to summary execution for this!" Starline snarled.
"Good luck in trying, because we'll make sure you and Eggman are the ones getting tried and executed for your crimes against Mobianity, you sick, twisted bastard!" said Bullet
"You wretched miserable nobodies!" said Starline, as he threw his jacket off, and jabbed some pressure points on his body, causing his entire body to bulk up with muscles
"He's roiding out!" Dow gulped, nervous
"Behold, the power of my own Starline-Style Hokuto Shinken!" said Starline, grinning darkly. "Now, which vital-point shall I strike first?"
"You really expect to strike anyone's vital points with those weak things you call 'fists'?" said Noah "Take a good look at your fingers, bub."
"B-Bakana!" Starline gasped, as his hands swelled up and exploded, turning him scrawny and weak again. Noah scowled at the mad scientist
"Hokuto Shinken is a two-thousand year old assassin's martial-arts style, handed down from master to disciple." said Noah "It is not a style that a madman like yourself should control!"
Noah then screamed in rage as his shirt and jacket disintegrated, and he unleashed a gatling-gun barrage of punches "ATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATA! WATAAAH!" went Noah as he then struck a vital point on Starline's forehead, with blood squirting out
"Hokuto Shinken Esoteric Art: Zankai Sekiho-Ken!" said Noah
"Gyaaaaarrrggghhh! My legs! My legs are moving by themselves! What have you done to me!?" Starline screamed as he started to uncontrollably walk backwards
"I have struck your Shitsugen vital-point. You will continue to walk backwards without any control of your legs." said Noah "Now, go and walk yourself straight to Hell where you really belong, you sick twisted monster in Mobian skin!"
"W-W-W-What!?" said Starline, shocked "But…but behind me is-!" he then noticed the long fall behind him "W-Wait a minute! No ordinaryhero would actually execute someone!"
"I'm no ordinary hero. I am Noah the White Lion, the 65th Denshousha of Hokuto Shinken." said Noah "And as for you, Dr. Starline, you are already dead!"
"Why is this happening to me!? I'm the ultimate genius! My intellect far surpasses Eggman's! Surely, this can't be right!" Starline got out "I-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" he then plummeted off the roof before letting out an "Urgh…! UWARABA!" and exploded into a bloody mess before he hit the ground
"Good riddance to bad rubbish." said Noah. He then turned to face Dow, Lien-Da, Bullet, Antonio and Yomi. "What're you guys gonna do, now that you've chosen to defect from Eggman's army?"
"We're gonna try living normal lives." said Yomi. He then turned away "Farewell." with that, he teleported away, along with Dow, Lien-Da, Bullet, and Antonio.
"I hope they can find forgiveness for all they've done." said Noah
