(Hey everyone, how's your summer going? I'm so sorry for taking so long to update this story and any others, but the heatwave I'm getting right now is really getting to me, and also someone's been trying to ask me when I'll update, I just want to say that while it worked this time, asking over and over will have the opposite effect on me, and I ask that you all who taken an interest in my story please be as patient as possible as I work through my work schedule and find time to write this chapter for you all to enjoy, especially since the chapter i've been trying to write was longer than I thought it'll be. So in advance, apologies if it looked like a rushed job.

Reminder: the Justice league that Sora is with is in the DCAU/"Earth 12" created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, not any of the comics. Please keep that in mind while I write this story to avoid any confusion with the other universes of the DC multiverse.

When they returned to the Watch Tower, Superman and Sora explained what happened to the members of the League and Diana was the first to offer her condolences for Sora's situation as was J'onn, having lost his people himself.

While Sora was anxious to go to the refuge world that Dr. Fate mentioned, and began to make his way back to the hanger, when Superman suggested that they get their rest first before they head off to get the some of the other League members who left the station for their own duties and thought it'd be better to do so. Sora pouted, but relented as he went to find a place to sleep. As Sora slept Superman filled in the other league members whether in person or with their new ear-piece communicators.

As Sora slept in his temporary room, he was looked after by Superman worried on what might happen if they don't find his folks in this Refuge world, what will happen to Sora?

The next day, the members of the League, who were able to all come the Watch Tower, all entered the newly made Javelin ship as Superman and Batman took the controls. They were able to convince the Dark Knight to come with them.

Soon after they left Flash asked, "So… how do we get to this place that needs our help?"

Before anyone could answer, the Keyblade flashed into Sora's hand and it moved his hand forward when a beam shot out through the Javelin's metal hull and into the space before them, as what appeared to be a portal opened before them. They all stared in surprise before the Javelin flew through the portal.

As soon as they opened their eyes, they found themselves in a different place all together. Especially since Earth, the Watch Tower, and the Moon wasn't in viewing distance anymore.

'So… this is what Dr. Fate means…' Superman thought, seeing this "Other Sky" personally now.

Batman's mask and training kept most of his own shock at what he was seeing hidden, but it was mind blowing all the same to the part-time leaguer.

Green Lantern, John, turned to the teenager and asked, "What did you do?"

"I-I didn't do anything." Sora said, even as the Keyblade vanished from his hand.

Before GL could press his questioning, Batman spoke up, "He's not lying."

He had seen Sora's reaction to how the Keyblade had appeared in his hand, shock and confusion, and Sora's not really good at hiding his feelings. And he did remember what Diana said about the Keyblade choosing its wielder so it could me that it is somewhat sentient.

They kept flying as Flash, seeing out of the window, rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things before saying, "Uhh… guys, don't know what I'm seeing but I think I see a town… floating in space."

John raised a brow, "Tell me you're not serious…"

"He's not joking." J'onn answered as he sees it too.

And there it was, what looks to be a town floating in space before them. Sora looked and said, "Whoa… So this is how other worlds look from here…"

"Apparently." Superman stated, seeing how different it is compared to a planet.

Hawkgirl was trying to make sense of it, "How's a town floating in space without some sort of atmosphere device to keep the air from escaping? Or some sort of life support?"

"We're about to find out." Batman said as he got the Javelin to fly to the town.

They soon found a place to dock their ship right outside of the gate while Diana asked, "What sort of ship is that?"

Her question caught the attention of the others as it looked like what a blocky ship would look like red, yellow, a dome like head small wings, and what looked like a cannon under neath it.

"I don't know." Superman answered, he used his power with his X-ray vision to get a better look, "It doesn't seem to be made out of any metal I've ever seen, it almost looks like it's a candy of some sort but I can't see into it, it's like it's magic."

"It's certainly not any ship I've ever seen before." Hawkgirl said eyeing it in contempt, "It looks more like a toy than an actual ship."

"I'll say." GL commented as it reminded him of the model ships back when he was a kid, "Don't think anyone's gonna to take that ship seriously."

Sora looked and said, "We don't know until we see it in action."

He then got up and said, "Come on guys, we need to find that Leon guy."

Before racing out Jo'nn, "Sora, wait!"

"Impatient lil…"

Only for a wind to rush by and everyone saw Flash missing.

Sora and Flash pushed the gates over and saw the town inside. The two stared at the small number of people walking about talking to each other or going about their business.

"Whoa!" Sora said seeing the town they're in.

"Talk about old school." Flash said seeing the design and lights used.

Soon the rest of the League joined their two as they saw how the place they were in was compared to others in their world.

The eight newcomers to Traverse Town saw people walking about or hanging around as well as a small creature that moving like it was walking with its wings flapping and a sort of pompom on the head. The fact that the people in the town weren't going into a panic means that this creature isn't a threat and that was enough to convince the league to not take any hostile actions against it.

Superman looked around amazed by how so many people are here, and scared of how many worlds have been destroyed by the Heartless.

Hawkgirl kept a stoic expression until she turned her head skyward and said, "That can't be right."

Everyone looked up and saw the night sky was mostly empty of stars leaving a small number of them to shine through the darkness. Diana gasped, "This World's connected to the Other Sky, just like Themyscira."

"What do you mean?" Batman asked, turning to the Amazonian princess.

"Unlike our world, where the stars many, this world's sky isn't covered by the barrier that keeps the Worlds separate." Diana explained, before looking back at the sky above them, "Someone I consider a dear sister told us that the stars in the night sky represents all the Worlds out there, signifying that their hearts are the ones shining through the Other Sky and not what our World's scientists say is the source of the stars."

Hawkgirl, wasn't so convinced, "Ah huh…"

Green Lantern, was having trouble believing as well. He saw stars going out before as a member of the Green Lantern Corps, and thought it was actually supernovas or something.

Everyone could see a star going out. Superman narrowed his eyes at this, how compared to their World, with its bountiful stars, there were only a small number of them here. And his remembering what Fate said about the Worlds that have been destroyed and taken by the Heartless removed them from the Realm of Light. Unconsciously squeezing his fights tightly as he heard Diana explaining, something that Batman noticed.

Batman looked and asked, "How does this sister of yours know about other worlds?"

Diana remained silent, remembering her promise to her blue-haired friend about keeping what she was taught a secret. Diana looked down silently, wanting to tell the others around her but couldn't.

"Excuse me, kupo."

The leaguers looked and saw the creature they had been watching look up at them, the red pom-pom over its head. Flash looked and said the obvious, "Hey you can talk."

"Of course, I can talk, kupo." The creature said, almost sounded insulted, "You newcomers are always so shocked when they see something not like you being able to talk, kupo."

Superman, going to be peacemaker went and spoke to the creature, "Sorry about my friend, we just never saw your species before."

"Yeah, I figured, kupo." The creature said, "But still just because most worlds are filled with humans, that doesn't mean that all of them are, kupo. We Moogles have a world too- had a world too, you know, kupo."

Hawkgirl got annoyed and asked, "Why do you talk that way?"

"Hawkgirl." Superman reprimanded.

The Moogle huffed, "It's just how we talk, kupo."

Sora felt bad and said, "Sorry about her… I'm Sora, please to meet you."

The Moogle looked back up and replied, "I'm Kupo the Moogle, likewise, kupo."

Sora looked over and asked, "Your home's gone too?"

"Sure was, Kupo…" Kupo's pom-pom swayed, hanging his head at the memory, "Shadows destroyed it, me and the others have nowhere else to go, kupo…"

Kupo the Moogle didn't seem to want to talk anymore so he just floated away. Flash wanted to go and try and lift Kupo's spirits, but Superman placed his hand on the Fastest Man Alive's shoulder and shook his head.

They heard heels on the cobbled floor and turned to see a woman, in a dress walking towards them. Batman too notes that the dress she was wearing looked like it was from the sixteenth or seventeenth century, "You're all new around here?"

Flash saw her and smiled, using his speed to lean against the lamppost, "Yes, we are, good looking. Wanna be our tour guide?"

The woman, though surprised by how fast the man in the red suit was, wasn't interested as she said, "I heard you talking to poor Kupo like that. You all should be ashamed of yourselves since their world's been destroyed first by the shadows."

Diana spoke, "Forgive us, sister. It's our first time seeing a Moogle before. We didn't mean any offense."

The woman, though shocked by Diana's attire would sigh, "Well… I can't exactly blame you for it, I remember my first time meeting a moogle too when I lost my world…"

Sora, being a boy, asked, "So what's your world like."

The woman smiled sadly as she said, "A bit of advice, don't go asking that here… it's not a happy memory for everyone who were able to get here."

She then continued on her way dispirited by the conversation. Superman flew over and landed before the woman, "Please wait, we're sorry for bring up a bad memory, I lost my home too when I was a newborn."

This made the woman, and Sora, shocked to hear that about him, even as Superman continued, "We're only trying to find out more so we can stop more from being destroyed."

J'onn approached her, "I too lost my home and family, and I do not want what happened to me to happen to anyone else. Please if you know who we can go to for answers, we will do what we can to prevent more loss."

The woman thought about what he said, then thought about the powers and the appearance of these newcomers, the fact that most of them had strange outfits to her, and some of them didn't look human. She then pointed to a building some steps from the square, "Head to the Accessory Shop, the owner there might have answers for you."

"Okay, thanks!" Sora said to the woman, heading to the shop, followed by the league members, Superman nodded his thanks as he and J'onn flew after the rest of their team. All the while another star going out in the sky above them. This was observed by one of the seven heroes, Batman, who narrowed his eyes at what he saw. It could have been a sun exploding into a supernova like what Hawkgirl said or it could be as Diana stated… either way this wasn't a good sign concerning how different the night sky is compared to the one from Earth…

"Hey there What can I-oh it's just a kid and some weirdos." The blond man said looking at Sora and the Justice League.

"Weirdos?" Flash asked, confused.

John looked and told him, "He means us."

"Hey!" Flash complained.

"Come on, gramps, you never saw superheroes before?" Sora asked in defense of his friends.

"Don't call me gramps! The name's Cid!" The man, Cid, shot back at Sora, as he looked annoyed by the gramps thing, before asking, "And what the heck are superheroes?"

"You know heroes who can do super things?" Sora hinting, since arriving at the Justice League's world, he's learned a lot about what a superhero is.

Cid waved his hand and said, "Never heard of 'em."

He then asked, "So what can I get ya, kid? A present for your girlfriend?"

That made Sora's face fluster, "My name's not kid, it's Sora."

"Okay, okay, simmer down, kid." Cid said taking the stick out of his mouth before replacing it back in and asked, "So… what'd ya need?"

"We're hoping to find his parents and friends." Superman explained, "Sora ended up in our world when his was destroyed, a friend helped us get here in the hopes of finding people he knows."

Cid looked at the kid, "Huh, that's new, most people who lost their worlds usually end up here, not somewhere else. 'specially since this seems to be the only world that's willing to open up for people to have when the Heartless take their worlds away."

That caught some of the heroes attention, the way he was speaking it's like the World their on is alive… more than usually.

Cid then looked at Sora's face to get a better look before he exhaled, "Sorry, haven't seen anyone who resembles him. I'll be keeping an eye out."

"Can you keep an eye out for my friends, Kairi and Riku?" Sora asked, as he looked at the man.

Cid nodded, "yeah, yeah I got it kid. I'll keep an eye out for them too."

"Whoa." Flash saw something and used his speed to go to a case nearby, the speed of how the man in the red suit went, surprised Cid and saw him at the item at the display, "Cool crystal pops."

"Don't call me pops!" Cid snapped and said, "That's one of the items made by the Moogles."

"No way, the moogles made that?" Sora asked, coming over to look at the crystal himself.

"Yup, those lil guys can synthesis any item, weapon, or equipment from materials they can get their hands on." Cid explained, "Speaking of which you all look like you can use some should ya run into trouble."

He said pulling out a tray with items on it, accessories mostly due to that being occupation as the Accessory Shop owner. He had a set of rings that either have the basic symbols of fire, lightning, and ice on them, a chain with a shield on it, an obsidian black ring, and what looks like earring studs.

John looked and said, showing his ring in his clenched hand, "Thanks… I'm good."

"Ditto." Hawkgirl said immediately, Sora through she was a bit too dismissive about not wanting the Accessories.

Sora looked over and asked, "Whoa… what do these do?"

"These rings will protect you from one of the usual magic that'd be used against you: Fire, blizzard, and lightning. Fire Ring, Blizzard Ring, and Lightning ring." Cid began to explain, "The chain, "Protect Chain" there is a protect chain that helps increase your natural defenses. The black ring, is an Obsidian ring that protects you from any dark element attacks."

Flash smirked and asked, joking, "Think it'll work on bats?"

No one found it funny, even as Cid doesn't know who this 'bats' is, before continuing, "And this stud helps increase your ability to help you last longer in a fight.

Diana looked at them curiously. J'onn had his eyes focused on the Fire Ring before asking, "You are certain this will protect us from any elemental magic?"

"100% guarantee it!" Cid said with pride, before saying, "For a price of course."

Sora look surprised, "What?"

"You're not serious." Superman said, unable to believe the blond man behind the counter.

"Sorry S-man, but I have a business to run." Cid told him, "This town may be a refugee place, but that doesn't mean we can give our stuff willy-nilly, especially since the whole buying and selling helps people keep their minds off the obvious and give them a sense of normalcy even though they're not in their own world. And if you think I'm bad with my prices you should see the Moogles with how much it'll cost to synthesis some of the higher grade stuff. If you don't got the Munny, then I can't sell it to you."

Superman, was confused, and asked, "Don't you mean money?"

"Yeah, Munny. That's what I said." Cid answered, as if there's not a difference.

Sora saw how J'onn's face was on the fire ring, and dug through his pockets before feeling something dropping out. Hearing the chink sound, everyone turned and saw a bag of some sorts fall out. Sora was really confused, he never saw this thing before in his life, especially since he ran to the other island.

Cid smirked, "Well what'd ya know. The kid did have something."

Sora picked it up and asked, "huh?"

Diana looked and asked, "What do you mean?"

"That's a Munny bag, it's a handy little item that helps you keep track of all the Munny you have. Any currency from any world you go to instantly change it to how Munny looks." Cid said as he opened the bag and put his arm in to show them some spheres, "This here's what Munny looks like in worlds that have a concept of currency."

He looked inside and admitted, "You actually got a lot in here. I can use this to pay for some of the items here."

"Sweet." Sora said while Cid went and counted, "For some of this I can give you some element rings, protect chains, and maybe even an ability stud."

Sora thought about it, before saying, "I'll have one Fire ring for J'onn, three protection chains, and a obsidian ring."

"Coming right up." Cid said as he went give them the items they'll need.

J'onn looked and stated, "Sora, you did not-"

"We're friends J'onn, 'couse I'd get you something that'll help." Sora told him with a smile.

J'onn remained expressionless, before smiling and placing the ring on one of his fingers.

Flash took one of the protect chains and spun quickly around faster than the eye could see as he put it in his costume. Diana got one of the chains as well. GL and Hawkgirl insisted that they didn't need anything more than what they have so Sora looked to superman, who, inwardly agreed, especially how the Heartless can bypass his invulnerability and took the obsidian ring.

"What about the this one?" Cid asked, meaning the last of the protect chains. Superman and Sora shared a look, "I think we know a guy who could use one."

Sora rolled his eyes at that, before noticing a chest up on a shelf, and whispered, "Hey, John."

"What is it, kid?" GL asked, looking at the fourteen-year-old.

He then asked, "You think you can get that down with your ring?"

John saw the chest and answered, "Easy."

And did it, surprising Cid more by this as none of his stuff could do that. And to add the icing on the cake, Sora summoned his Keyblade and tapped the lid of the chest, unlocking it and revealed a small kind of metal inside it. Seeing it Cid said, "Oh you found a Mythril shard, that's a rare piece of metal that's used to make other items with if you get a number of them."

Sora looked and asked, "Really?"

"Yeah, but if you need stuff like healing potions, eithers, and weapons, go to the item shop next door, those three got em." Cid told them, before saying, "Since yer all newcomers, let me tell ya the basics of Traverse Town, this world is divided into three districts, we're in the first one, close to the front gate where anyone with a vessel that can travel between the worlds enter or exit from. The Second District is the largest of the three, were most of the others who lost their worlds live. And the Third District is the smallest, it's where the fountain and this little storage room is, plus a wall that doesn't move no matter what we tried. There's a gate between each of the districts that helps in keeping them separate from usual pests... but the gate to the third got locked up for the past weeks now so if you want to find yer friends, you'd have to go from here to the second to the third district gate, not unless one of your superheroes have a power to go through walls."

Sora smirked, looking at J'onn, which Cid guessed and sighed, "Figured as much. Whatever ya superheroes do DON'T damage the gates, trust me on this. It's important you don't do anything that damage them."

Sora smiled, "Thanks Cid."

Cid huffed, waving his arm, "Good luck finding yer friends kid."

As soon as they left, Cid kept his eyes on they key-shaped sword in Sora's hands. After making sure they had closed the door behind them, the owner of the accessory shop stretched and muttered, "So that's the 'key' thing… better tell Leon it's finally here. Especially those two who came looking for the key as much as we've been for the past nine years."

Outside of the accessory shop, Batman looked at the protect chain in his hand and asked, brow raised, "You're joking…"

"No it's true. They're suppose to help raise our defenses from any attack." Superman told his friend.

Batman glowered and asked, "And Sora just happened to have the currency to pay for it?"

"I know it's strange, but if it'll help us in the long run, we gotta use them." Superman said, floating next to the Dark Knight who was on the roof top.

Batman scowl remained silent before he pockets the protect chain in his utility belt. While the others were inside the shop, the Dark Knight of Gotham had been on the stake out for any form of crime, since it's apparent that not everyone who makes it here are law-abiding citizens, but so far nothing… any who fight the physical or psychological description of being a criminal were all being good for reasons of keeping themselves from being targeted from the heartless, and since magic's the only defense against the Heartless, Batman would be a fool to just disregard the defense, especially with what he had seen in his career as a crime fighting vigilante.

"So, what's our next move?" Batman asked, noticing not everyone was with them.

"Green Lantern and Hawkgirl are going stay in the Item shop next door to check out the to see if they can be of help, J'onn is hoping to find more past this district maybe some clue as to where we can ensure this World's safety-"

"You mean this Keyhole?" Batman asked, which surprised the Man of Steel, before he asked, "How do you do it?"

"Let's just say you're not the only one with super hearing." Batman hinted.

"Diana, and Flash are hoping to find more info of Sora's family and friends. The two of us are going to keep searching in the next district past the gate." Superman explained the plan.

Batman had a bad taste in his mouth as he looked down to the boy who was talking to another boy and said, "You do realize that there's a possibility of his family and friends becoming Heartless, or worse."

Superman's face hardened, showing the thought crossed his mind, especially with what Sora told them on how Riku and Kairi disappeared. But Superman refused to give up hope on finding them.

Batman saw the look and said, "Just saying."

The two heroes went down to join Sora who was standing before the gate after talking to the boy, waiting for the two older heroes.

Flash sighed as he waited around looking for anything his arms crossed. He was bored while waiting around to find clues about anyone Sora met, sure it was a good goal, but the pace they were going was getting to the Fastest Man Alive from Central City.

"Hey cutie, you new to Traverse Town?" A woman asked seeing Flash.

Flash blinked looking at the woman wearing an evening gown like dress, her hair covering one of her eyes in an alluring way. Flash gave a dopey grin and asked, "Me?"

"Of course. It's been a while since I last saw a tall, mysterious, and handsome stranger before my world was taken." She then pressed herself against Flash and asked, "You'll protect me from the big bad monsters, won't you?"

Flash, feeling nervous said, "Ahh…"

"I love the shy types." She said gently rubbing her fingers against the part of his face that his mask doesn't cover.

Before he saw something heading for their direction, and it wasn't GL, Diana, or Hawkgirl.

As soon as Sora, Batman, and Superman entered the Second District, the largest one of the three, he and two of the heroes saw a man turning a corner and fell over.

"Hey, you okay?!" Sora called, going over to help. Batman, however, stopped him, spotting a shadowy orb before them.

The man turned and tried to crawl away, his face the definition of fright before the same heart shaped that they saw when the same thing happened to the Guard Armor fell, came flying out of his chest, it flew to a shadowy orb, making the man's body disappear.

The Woman screamed as a Soldier-type Heartless came and ran it's claw into her chest. The woman screamed before falling, for all intended purposes she looked like she was sleeping. Flash was helpless as the heartless had the crystal-like heart in its claw.

They watched as the orb absorbed the heart and a Heartless appear, a Soldier, before it disappeared.

Soon many of the Shadows came rising up their eyes fixed on Sora.

Before The Fastest Man Alive could do anything, the heart began to have dark whisps coming from it before it became another Heartless and disappeared. The woman's body faded away, making Flash realize how bad things were from his joke hours ago.

All around him people screamed and went to take cover inside the surrounding buildings. As more Heartless came to find more hearts for them to take.

Flash got himself ready for a fight before seeing the numbers of the Shadows growing and said, "Yeah…"

He then ran to try and get help as well as make sure that no one got left outside. Even as a Shadow jumped at him.

A Heartless jumped for Sora, only for Superman's heat vision to destroy it, causing it to dissolve in darkness. Sora hit a few that got past with his Keyblade, but more replaced the numbers they lost.

Batman threw a batarang and ordered, "We need to fall back!"

It exploded sending a number of Shadows back.

"What?!" Sora asked looking back to the Dark Knight.

"They're replacing the numbers faster than we can destroy. We need to fall back and reorganize." Batman said, before commenting to Superman, "Plus they're magic, something you don't have a good defense on, even with that chain you have."

Superman didn't like it, but Batman's right, especially since the creatures they're fighting are actually focusing on Sora and treating the two heroes as obstacles. Just as he was about to respond, a Shadow to swiped at the Man of Steel with its claw causing him to yell in pain. It didn't hurt as much compared to the first time he was attacked by a Heartless, but still it hurt.

Sora went and cut the Heartless down with two swings. Sora saw that the way to the hotel was cleared and called, "This way!"

And ran into the doors of the hotel. Batman slammed the doors shut as to keep the Heartless from getting in.

Superman breathed heavily as he recovered from the pain of the attack. Sora went and asked, "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine." Superman assured him with a smile.

Sora smiled back while Batman looked and found the doors to the hotel rooms all locked, "Seems we're safe in here, for now."

"We need to keep going, I'm not gonna stop until I find my friends." Sora said.

Batman narrowed his eyes, "Don't you get it, if they get you then all hope is lost."

"Isn't that why we're working together?" Sora asked, his determination obvious on his face.

Batman wanted to argue more, but Superman held Batman's shoulder, "We need to keep searching."

Batman's face hardened more, before saying, "Fine… but just so you know… I'm running out of batarangs."

They went down the long lobby of the hotel and went out the next set of doors. Immediately after Sora stepped out, the Shadows rose from the ground and began their attack, causing Batman to use his electrified knuckle to help deal with the Heartless when they get close. Seeing the path to the building up the stairs was blocked, Batman grabbed Sora as he jumped down to the lower floor, letting the boy land on his feet and hurried to another building. Superman caught up with his Super speed closed the door behind them.

The three of them heard growling, looking to find two Dalmatians there, one with a red collar, and the other with a blue collar. The one with the red collar had more bulk on his body while the blue collar Dalmatian was slimmer. and they seemed very defensive, especially with how Batman looked.

Sora looked surprised and spoke, his hand close for them to smell and know he's not a threat, "Hey, sorry for barging in like this, but is it okay if we stay here for a bit? Just until we catch our breaths?"

Batman raised a brow, wondering why Sora was talking to a pair of dogs. But to his surprise the two looked to each other and seeing their tails wagging nodded, and what appeared to be smiling to each other, which to Batman was difficult to believe without any tampering with their DNA. Smiling widely Sora went and petted them in thanks, "Thanks…"

Getting a better look at the collar he read, "Pongo… and Perdita…"

The dogs wagged their tails more hearing their names. Superman smiled and he went to greet the two dogs, "Thanks you two, I don't suppose you have anyone else with you?"

At that the two dalmatians lowered their heads and their tails stopped wagging before they went to look at a picture of themselves, two humans (their owners most likely), and what appeared to be a large number of puppies. While Perdita went to lay down a puppy bed, whimpering worried.

"Oh…" Superman said, realizing he brought up painful memories, "I'm sorry…"

Pongo looked and nuzzled his head against the Kryptonian's hand to let him know that the dog knew he didn't mean it.

Sora went to Perdita and said, "You must miss your family don't you?"

Perdie looked to the younger boy and nodded, which Sora said, "Don't worry I'll look around to see if I can find them."

Batman narrowed his eyes at how the kid is spreading himself thin, he feels for the dalmatians, he does, but right now they need to find a way out of here with all the Heartless in this World seemingly focused on Sora. Appraoching he said, "We need to go, now."

Sora nodded as he and Superman exited out of the room through their loft and out the other door. where it led to a water way of sorts. but soon more Shadow type Heartless appeared and the three of them got ready for another fight as they made their way through until they reached the closest doorway and found themselves back at what looks like where they came from, but on the main ground of the area in the Second District. immediately more shadows appeared and they kept themselves ready to fight, Batman with his extended winged Batarangs, Superman with his heat vision, and Sora with his Keyblade. while having a moment to think, Batman saw the fountain with three rises that had a bell shape. Batman narrowed his eyes, as if it was a clue of some sort. But had to duck out of the way from a Heartless.

Sora was about to go down another alleyway, but Superman stopped him, "Not that way!"

"But Riku and Kairi!" Sora said, knowing he'd have to search the third district and soon to find them.

Superman picked Sora and said, "We need to go now!"

Looking at the Dark Knight he called, "Batman!"

Batman nodded and threw smoke pellets that exploded, stunning the Heartless around them as Superman flew the three to the gate as Batman called, "We got a problem."

"Let me guess, it has yellow eyes and twitchy antenna!" Hawkgirl shot as they heard a battle cry on her end and her mace crackling with energy again.

"Yeah same here! The Princess and I ran into them after someone tried to jump me!" Flash said running, "Everyone's been evacuated or hurried home as soon as they showed up, like they're prepared for it."

"Get back to Cid's shop now!" Batman shouted as he and Superman opened the gate, Sora used the Keyblade to take out more Heartless until the gate was opened enough for them to get in. They met up with the others at Cid's shop's door and immediately moved to open it.

As soon as they all went to the door of the shop, they slammed it shut behind them, which Cid saw and said, "Welcome back, you guys find them yet?"

Only for the door being slammed caught their attention.

"Dangit you rotten heartless..." , as he got something from behind his counter and went to the door, it looked like an old fashion camera, but seemed different from some of the heroes. He then got the door opened and aimed it at the Heartless at his shop's door.

"How many times I gotta tell ya, stop scaring away my business!" Cid shouted and fired some sort of beam that made the heartless dissipate instantly.

Everyone was shocked by what just happened, especially since before the Heartless were immune to the ordinary light compared to the Invaders they had to fight. They even hadn't been able to get into Cid's store like the other places they been to in either this world or the other one. Cid chuckled and asid, "Dang, it's been a while since they last showed up in the first district, something juicy must've gotten their stomach riled up."

Before his eyes lingered at Sora, and the weapon he had, which confirmed his suspicions. Putting his weapon, Cid Cannon, away, he asked, "Let me guess, you still haven't found yer friends yet?"

Sora shook his head, "No, but I'm not gonna give up."

"That's the spirit, kid." Cid said, smirking, "Have a chance to look around town, maybe they just appeared since more stars've been going out lately."

Batman narrowed his eyes, "No, he's going to stay here while we continue the search."

"What?!" Sora asked, shocked.

Batman turned back and said, "The moment you step outside you'll be an easy target for them to find."

"But I can stop them, with the Keyblade." Sora said holding his keyblade in his hand. Batman glared and stated, "If you get taken down, it's the end for us all, it'd be honestly easier if we can just take that keyblade from you, but considering how Flash can't hold it without returning to you, this is the only thing available to us."

Batman looked to the others, "We're gonna be splitting up. Flash you come with me and Superman back at the second district, Diana, go with J'onn to the third. Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, do a fly-by sweep to make sure no one got left behind when the Heartless came."

Flash looked back at Sora and asked, "We're really leaving Sora behind?"

"Do not judge Batman too harshly." J'onn told the scarlet speedster, "He wants to keep Sora safe despite how he carried himself, but he can't let any of his true feeligns out or risk somehting terrible happening."

Hawkgirl looekd and said, "Let's move, no telling how long until more show up once we open that door."

And immediately the seven of them went off to do their assignments while in this world, leaving the eighth behind.

As soon as the league went to ensure the other citizens are safe, Sora sighed, bored, and tired of being treated like this.

Cid looked at the kid and said, "The guy in the bat suit, he always like that?"

"Since the day I met him." Sora pouted.

Cid chuckled, "He sorta reminds me a guy I know, he had lost a lot too... guess that's something those two have in common."

Sora, getting impatient, "I'm gonna tried looking again."

Cid watched him go as he thought, 'Try and go easy on him Leon, he's not that bad...'

As soon as he stepped out, looked around to make sure the league was really gone.

"They'll come at you out of nowhere." A voice said, causing Sora to turn to the side and saw a man that seems to be younger than Superman and Batman, but maybe a bit older than Flash.

"Who are you?" Sora asked, on the defense after how he's been attacked by Heartless ever since they caught sight of him in this World.

The man ignored him and said, "And they'll keep on coming, as long as you continue to wield the Keyblade."

Sora saw how the man before him had long, brown hair with some bangs over his face. he also wore black gloves with belts on them, black, zipper-lined shoes, a silver lion with a cross necklace around his neck, resting against the white undershirt, under a short, black jacket, and is short-sleeved, a red version of the symbol on his left shoulder. He three brown belts on his left forearm and has three buckles on his right and left thigh. He also had black pants also sport a vertical zipper going down the side of each leg. He wore two brown belts on his pants and two black ones around his hips, all of which are quite loose except for one, a black one worn properly around his waist. His eyes were blue and he bore a distinctive scar, which ran diagonally across the bridge of his nose.

He placed his hand over his face and asked, "But why, why did it choose a kid like you?"

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" Sora asked, defensively.

The man however said, "Never mind."

And then reached for the Keyblade, "Now let's see that Keyblade."

"What? There's no way I'm letting you take my Keybalde." Sora said, after all he learned about the Keyblade he's not gonna let someone else take it, especially after someone like Flash tried and failed.

"All right, have it your way." The man said, revealing his weapon, where it looked like it's a fusion of a gun and a sword to Sora's eyes.

'Ah oh…' Sora thought before trying to call out to the Martian with his thoughts, only for the man to attack him in a way that made it impossible for him to think properly, with a blast of fire magic that sent a large fire ball at Sora, causing him to roll out of the way and parried a swing from the man's sword. This guy was way different than the Imerium's soldiers, or the Heartless... he was a person that has way more battle experience than he did, band he tried to hold out as long as possible, but even with the Protect Chain on him, he was being pushed back. His opponent stood over him, his Gunblade poised to attack

'J'ONN!' Sora mentally called, as Leon swung his Gunblade.

While flying J'onn heard Sora's call for help and stopped in mid-flight, eyes glowing. Seeing this, Diana turned back and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Sora is in trouble." The martian said as he flew back the way they came. While she tried the new ear comm, "Batman, Superman, anyone, we need to go back to the Accessory shop, Sora's in trouble!"

Sora fell on his back in pain after receiving one of Leon's explosive slashes from his gunblade.

"Hey you found it, good going Leon."

Leon looked back to find a girl sixteen years old, she had short black hair and dark brown eyes. She had d wears a metal headband with two green tassels. She wears a yellow scarf, a green tube top with blue belts holding it up over her shoulders, a tan short-shorts with another loose, blue belt around her waist, while white socks reached up to her mid-thighs, orange shoes. On her arms she had a pair of mesh sleeves from the mid-arm past the elbow going into a pair of orange, finger-less gloves with black bands around the wrist part of the arms, constricting them to her hands and not letting them slip off.

"Still, looks like things are worse than we thought, Yuffie. A lot worse." Leon told her, glancing at the Keyblade in the young boy's hand.

(As you guys got to read, we're finally on one step through the KH journey of Sora and the Justice League, following Dr. Fate's advice of going to make sure that the World of Traverse Town doesn't get destroyed either, otherwise everyone on that world will fall to the Realm of Darkness and become a Heartless.

As you all saw, I took references from the first game, the novel, and the manga to help make it as accurate, interesting, and enjoyable as possible. Especially to try and explain how Cid was able to keep his shop safe from the Heartless during they onslaught against Sora when he first made it to Traverse Town in the game, as well as try to show that fear isn't the only negative emotion that is linked to Darkness. I also wanted to have it mentioned how despite how those people came from many different worlds that were destroyed by the Heartless, they over came their diffrences to lead as normal of lives as possible with each other otherwise... well you know what those sorts of things will cause...

So until then with part 2 of Traverse Town and possibly how they'll save it from following the same fate as many, many other worlds, May Your Heart Be Your Guiding Key.)
