Mackenzie (P.O.V)

I sighed as I laid in bed rubbing my belly. I had a difficult night sleeping with my little wolf moving up a storm as she didn't like being without Jake. I don't understand how but she could always sense when he was near us.

It was going to be a long couple of days until we next are able to see each other. I know Jake wants me to be down in La push more often but I do want to spend more time with my dad. I sat up in my bed to start getting ready for school my phone went off.

I grabbed it off of the nightstand with a smile immediately on my face as a text from Jake's flashed across the screen.

Jake: Morning babe, just wanted to text you before school to see how you and our little wolf slept.

Me: Didn't get much sleep as your baby like to use my bladder as a soccer ball since she didn't like her daddy being far away from us.

Jake: "sigh" I don't like it either babe but for the moment we're going to have to do what we can. I'll talk to my dad about you staying down here on weekend.

Me: That will be a good idea we can spend more time together. I'll be down in La push most weekends anyways working at the convenient store it will save me from traveling back-and-forth.

Jake: That will help convincing Dad, with your pregnancy gets further your not going to want to always be traveling. By the way I'm going to talk to Sam this afternoon about the job.

Me: That's great, After you left yesterday I called Mrs Ateara store. We talked for a bit and I was honest about our situation. She offered me a part-time position two days a week after school and on the weekends.

Jake: That's awesome the less you are in Forks the more I can relax.

I rolled my eyes at Jake's response no matter how much he wants to protect me he's not always going to be there. I smiled because no matter how much he can annoy me he's the love of my life.

Jake: Babe I got to go before I'm late for school. I love you and please for my sanity stay away from the Cullen's.

Me: "roll eyes" love you too Jake.

I walked out of the room dressed and tired, I just wanting to crawl back into bed unfortunately I knew I couldn't. I dressed comfortable with a pair of leggings with a gray long sleeve shirt and black sweater paired with a pair of converses. My hair was pulled back into a fish braid with a few strands of hair framing my face.

I yawned forcing myself to walk away from my door. My bed strongly called my name but I pushed it away making my way down the stairs to get something to eat.

I walked into the kitchen and quickly made myself a couple of sandwiches. It was a good thing I had picked up a couple of extra things at the store yesterday. Not knewing the type of affect the school lunch will have on me I went with the ham cheese sandwich and chips as a safe bet for later.

I put the tupperware containing into my bag setting it aside. I grabbed the remaining sandwich with a cup of apple juice and sat at the small table eating waiting for Bella as she was my ride for now. By the Time I was done eating I could hear movement from the stairs.

I grabbed my bag as I walked out of the kitchen. Bella turned around as she was putting on her jacket. As I adjusted my bag I noticed her looking at my baby bump which I started rubbing it subconsciously as my baby girl began kicking again.

"If your done staring at my belly Bella I would like to get to school today". I said snapping her out of her thoughts as she looked away immediately. I didn't wanna be mean but I was going to get enough staring from everyone at school.

"Let's go". Bella muttered grabbing her key off the hook and opened the door. We've barely talk since my return and I am trying to keep a safe distance from her.

I love my sister even if we don't get along but I can't sacrifice my happiness and family a second time. I also need to be there for my dad as he will be losing a daughter in the near future again as I know Bella is a stubborn person and will pursue Edward again.

Once the house was locked up we got into her death trap. I secured the seatbelts tightly and try to remain calm as to this day no matter the life I hate the truck. Especially with Bella behind the wheel she is an uncoordinated person and I'm surprise she's able to drive.

I sighed rubbing my belly as Bella pulled out of the driveway making our way to the school. I honestly wasn't ready for all the drama to begin again.
