Bible Teachings
Independence Day
Welcome brothers, sisters, newcomers, casual readers, young and old to Bible Teachings. Here we have come a long way from when first starting of what the Bible has said to how we imply them to our everyday life now. It has been sometime since doing this and been behind on these updates. Today we are going to talk about the holiday which is Independence Day and why we should celebrate it? Also, heads up somewhere done the line we will talk about the holidays of around the world and why they should be celebrated or not. Sometimes when it comes to holidays there are things we should celebrate or why we shouldn't partake in them.
Holidays like Independence Day are special kind of holidays that can only be celebrated in certain countries. Sometimes they have a meaning behind them and importance as we should be considering why we celebrate them. While I'm not saying you should be a history buff to know this stuff but having a small background behind them can be helpful. In the today's age there are many holidays being celebrated and some of them come from the past where they have certain meaning behind them or sometimes reasons for their celebration. Others tend to be holidays that are more recent or have been around sometime with great importance's such as Labor Day where it's celebrating the Americans workers that help make the country of today, while another is Memorial Day celebrating the men and women who gave their lives to this country and respect for what they did in service. But there are others that shouldn't be celebrated when the meaning behind them has a darker meaning or otherwise immoral view on things. While that's something most wouldn't consider today there is implication of what we should be wearily about and why they are celebrated but are forgotten overtime.
Independence Day
The meaning behind Independence can be considered forgotten or overlooked considering how other holidays are viewed today. For this particular holiday it's the day where we celebrate America's Declaration of Independence from back when America was being created by Thirteen Colonies as it was the time where the American Revolutionary War begin during that time. It was the start of America and many other conflicts it would partake in the future. Compare that to today's holiday we still have this and the national anthem, now having 50 states that is more than when this nation started out. While also celebrating with fireworks that we see at nighttime. Much has changed and will probably continue to change both good and bad. What comes from these changes is the question we need to remind ourselves for the future.
But what's to take from this and why we should celebrate this holiday? First is why we should celebrate holidays such as these is because for each nation there left marks in history that your nation is proud to celebrate, not pride because we don't want to boast, but different by how we can remember and honor those who help make this nation happen. This day should always be remembered as the day we gain our independence and how we now live a time that can be forgotten after many years later. Remember all that have fought for this country, all who have serviced and died for this country, and for how we cannot forget what made this country great from the start. With the leaders today and things going as of, yet we are reducing ourselves to the whims of those who have no best interest for this nation.
Now I'm not saying that about all the leaders, but there are some who just make things worse because of their petty goals and reasons is how tyrants are born and warmongers that simply have goals that just shouldn't have happen from both their side and our side for making that mistake. This Holiday isn't necessarily for just us, for there are other countries that have their own days to remember those who have fought and died for their countries. If anything, this holiday can have different meaning for everyone, and we cannot forget those that came before us did for their nation.
Remembering those before us
If you have read some of the previous chapters about the holidays then you know that one of those themes, we should consider in Holidays is why we should celebrate them is important just as much as we shouldn't celebrate them. As those who are starting to be Christians, Saints and Believers there are times we need to make a stand for our belief and times when we should not have any involvement. But one of thing that comes to holidays is those we celebrate is about remembrance. Knowing why we celebrate them is as important as both partaking or not, remembering is something we don't considered cause now these days you can make notepads and place them in data chip for storage. But in seriousness, we are being forgetful and just no longer considered why we do them because of not being taught or not thinking about them.
One thing that is a flaw in Humanity is the ability to just see something so many times that we don't find excitement for them as much. While it's good to not always be surprised but doing it so many times that we become dull by how many times we do these things. Many times, we are just either grow out of it because it's no longer exciting or just trying to find the next best thing. In all of this many of us tend to seek excitement that gives entertainment or something along those lines. When that happens, we can get bored by something and forget them or brush them off easily. This happens as Christians, Saints and Believers when we do this so much, we already have lost the spark and fire as to why we started, that being called lukewarm Christians, Saints and Believers of the faith.
For the holidays it's a matter of you no longer care much about the holiday and just start to become either too busy or just have much in your thoughts. If there is a holiday you feel has become too busy for you or a time where you no longer feel excited or want to partake in these holidays, you know that deep down you lost some of that spark and eventually forget why you even do them. Now that's not to say you need more excitement, instead try to remember why you do them and remember that why the holiday in your life is celebrated. With everything that's going on Independence Day may one day be forgotten and why we celebrated it as well. Don't forgot and hold to the memory of why you celebrate them.
