Chapter 4: Training and Distractions
The next day he got up, made some quick breakfast and had a shower then got dressed. He pulled out both scrolls that were made for Hiruzen and headed to the Hokage tower. He speaks to his assistant then knocks on the door. Come in. Hiruzen spoke softly. When he saw Naruto enter he motioned for the guarding Anbu to leave for a little while so they could keep the future a secret about what he was gonna happen. Here are two scrolls about two Leaf shinobi who will cause major issues for the future and are currently alive as we speak. He hands both scrolls over to Hiruzen and gives him two small vials of blood so he can open them. This is very sensitive information. Do you want me here so we can discuss it or do you want to read it and summon me later if you are busy? Stay awhile, I rather discuss these now so when we are done we can plan ahead. Hiruzen read the scroll about Orochimaru and his face turned one to sadness. So it seems he becomes a real threat later. Yes, but he is still alive and helps us fight in the war. A lot of what he does causes issues though. It is all because he doesn't become the fourth Hokage. Which my father becomes and does really well until the Kyuubi attack. He works with Danzo to rule with an iron fist. Orochimaru tries to find immortality and does so by taking over other people's bodies. He does this quite often too. He uses the Second Hokages Edo Tensei to revive the First and Second Hokage to fight you and ends up killing you. So I will let you decide what you want to do. If I find any of these hideouts I will destroy them and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. I don't want to kill him since his knowledge is very useful, but he does it for selfish reasons. I see Naruto, this is very concerning and troubles me greatly. I will try and keep tabs on Orochimaru. When I decide your father to become the Fourth Hokage I will let you keep tabs on him so he is kept in check. Naruto nods, then waits for him to read about Danzo. Hiruzen blows smoke out after using his pipe. I see I can't really trust anyone can I? Well you can just these two want to rule Kohona with an iron fist and make it a powerhouse that rules everyone. Which is not what peace is. That is just fake peace and will cause hidden hatred to rise. Hiruzen nods and says I will keep tabs on Danzo starting today because I will not let a back seat Hokage try and ruin our chances at peace. Thank you Naruto for this information. It's my pleasure Hokage sama I am gonna go and try and finish training with the wind Jutsu you let me learn. I heard about how you train. What are the clones even used for? Since I have so much chakra I can cut down my training time from months to weeks or days depending on what I am learning due to the secrets of the Shadow Clones. That's very ingenious. I wasn't the one who thought of it. It was Kakashi Hatake aka Kakashi Sensei when I was learning by wind manipulation. It took me a month to learn it and finish my fathers incomplete Jutsu. He was shocked how effective that training was. It is less effective now since I do not have the Kyuubi inside me anymore. My coils aren't refilled as quickly as they used to be so it does now take a toll on me. Also I cannot be as reckless since I don't have the healing factor of the Kyuubi anymore. The only thing I am truly having issues with is Tsunade's scrolls about her super strength. I will get it mastered though. Alright Naruto when you master that I am sure you will be well on your way to being a very irreplaceable ninja for this village. I may have to send you to help my students in the Rain Village. I have received a report saying it's taking longer than expected and they may require backup. Alright if they need back up let me know. I will be at the training grounds for most of the day to get these wind jutsus mastered so I can return them to you. Also here take the Hiraishin scroll, I learned that I will need to progress my fuinjutsu first so until I get that mastered I will let you hold onto this until I have learned all I can from it. I heard about how you train and I must say that is ingenious and I wished I had the amount of chakra you had so I can learn more jutsu to better protect everyone. Well one man can only protect so much. That I learned the hard way in the Fourth Shinobi War. That is true Naruto, so please do overwork yourself and find some friends and relax a little. Doing that will make training easier and you may pick up tips on how to master a jutsu that is giving you difficulty . Finding friends now will be difficult because everyone I see was way older and a mother and I can't try and alter the future because I do want my old friends to be born. Hell when Minato and Kushina appear here. I also don't want to make too many friends due to the fact that once I am conceived I will no longer exist and I will go out the same way I came here from out of nowhere to just then disappear all over again. I have accepted my fate to be alone for all my life and what little friends and connections I had are dead and gone, I can go back to living a lonely life. Is that what you really want, Naruto? Hiruzen said. No, but what can I do I just can't open up to everyone and tell them my history and then say yeah in so many years I will either just vanish into nothing or have to kill myself to make sure I am born into this world. Hiruzen sighed, Naruto I am not saying you have to keep your past a secret from everyone, just make sure not to tell everyone. It's not that I'm worried about. It is the slip of the tongue by someone else that is continued to be spoken to the point where everyone knows. Naruto, I know this isn't an experience anyone can say they have had. Most of the people that are near my age are mothers and fathers of my friends, and can't exactly tell them that and then intervene in their lives and guide them to change it by asking about it. Then again they wouldn't believe me if I told them if I am from the future so I shouldn't be too worried about it. Well you can tell them to come talk to me and I can verify it for them if they question it. Even if I did make friends with some, I may end up falling in love with me and missing out on meeting their future spouse. Naruto first off you are already changing history with what you are doing right. What harm could come from being friends and falling in love with someone now. The future has already changed. Naruto hung his head, I do not know. I just want my future self to have all my original friends. I am already making a book to detail my old life so that the new me can read about me and see what my life was like so he can be prepared. I am also prepping scrolls to help teach him all the wind Jutsu you let me learn so I can be even further ahead when the time comes. Alright Naruto I understand well enough I will let you do what you want just remember what I said. Having someone you can speak with will help relieve all burdens. Actually Naruto, I want you to travel to the Rain village and backup my students. I will be sending more reinforcements, but knowing you will be able to handle it. Naruto nodded and left the office. Hiruzen smiled and planned to tell Tsunade about Naruto and give her a mission to become his friend.
Naruto went home to quickly pack up his supplies and quickly rushed off to the gates. Mikoto and Naomi saw a yellow blur rush through the city along the rooftops and were shocked how fast he was. Mikoto was like how could anyone be that fast at our age. Naomi quickly sprang into action knowing he went faster than the safety regulation was. He knew he was on leave. Arashi you need to slow down, you are breaking the law. Oh sorry Naomi, but I am on an urgent mission to back up Tsunade and them in the Rain village. Oh I see sorry, but they should be fine. You know how strong they are, yes but this was given by the Hokage and he seemed worried. Anyways, I am off and he picked up his speed again. Naomi came to a stop on the roof when two junior officers landed next to her. She informed them that he wasn't breaking any laws and got an urgent mission from the Hokage. They nodded and went back to patrolling the village. Naomi was now very confused. If a mission Tsunade was on with her team turned south, how could just one man let one this one who no one knows be the one sent by the Hokage to back them up. They would probably need a lot more. She headed towards the Hokage tower.
Naomi barged into Hiruzens office, Hokage- sama how can you send one person let alone someone we don't know to back up Tsunade and her team. They are the best of the best and if they are having trouble what can one man do let alone a man none of us know to go and help them alone. Hiruzen took out his pipe and blew smoke out. Naomi Arashi is as strong or not stronger than anyone on that team. I know you know Tsunade and she is your best friend, but how do you know about Arashi? I talked to Tsunade after she was at the bar when she said she lost a fight to him. I see well, she did and he is much stronger than them. I'm also not sending him alone tomorrow I am sending you and 2 teams to go and back him up. They will be returning today from a low rank mission so they will be ready to go tomorrow morning. Why send a person who no one in this village knows to back up our strongest team and possibly betray them. Hiruzen laughed. Hiruzen thought this could be one of the few friends Naruto can make. Arashi is the most loyal shinobi I know and he will not betray us . Then what aren't you telling us? I'm sorry Naomi, that's not my story to tell if you really want to know ask him. I gave him authorization to tell people if he deems them worthy to know. Because once they know they are not allowed to ask any further information about what he knows. You are not to hound him to get that information if you really want to know you are going to have to earn his trust and friendship. Naomi nodded and said I will start packing my travel gear sir. Hiruzen nodded and said I may let you all leave tonight, just depending on how tired they are. You are to get up at 5am tomorrow and head towards the Rain Village. She bows and walks out to get ready. Hiruzen smiled and thought, Naruto , I have put the ball in your court, how will you use it?''
