Chapter 5 When it Rains it pours
Naruto remembered the story of how Nagato and his group met the legendary Sennin. The only thing Naruto did not know was the full situation of the battle that happened with them. So he hurried along the way to help aid in whatever battle they were in. Naruto realized he would be severely handicapped since he couldn't rely on the Rasengan or RasenShuriken yet since the Jutsu had not been made. He couldn't summon Gamabunta since he didn't want Jiraiya to know about it or even use the 9 Tails chakra since he no longer had his friend inside of him. He had been training with more wind style just for this situation since he did not want to become a true liability for anyone he was defending. He would use a transformation Jutsu whenever he went into Sage Mode since he did not want Jiraiya to see it as well. He hated playing this role, but if he was to show how much he actually knew he may be asked to train him more, which he actually wasn't opposed to making Jiraiya stronger so when the time came he could help the future so he decided he would summon and use Sage mode without hiding it from Jiraiya. He picked up his speed with the new resolve to make sure everything would proceed as planned.
6 hours later
Naruto stopped on the outskirts of the Rain Village and went into his meditation pose to gather Nature chakra. After three minutes he opened his eyes and tried to sense the location of Tsunade and Jiraiya. Once he found their location he sprinted at full speed towards them. He sensed two other chakra signatures there. One being a summon and another human. I think that person is Hanzo and his summon. Naruto landed next to the 3 Sennin and took in the situation. Arashi! The three shouted in unison. What are you doing here?! Get out of here. This fight is not something you can handle on your own. Naruto looked over at them and Jiraiya's eyes went wide. Hey, how do you know Sage Mode? Jiraiya, this is not the time for questions. Let's just focus on the mission and if you happen to remember I will answer your questions. Why are you here though? Hokage-sama received your scroll and sent me on ahead to aid you until two teams of reinforcements arrive most likely tomorrow at some point. I see we'll be careful his summon has poison that can kill you quickly if you inhale it. We do not have the antidote for the poison. Alright then, I will just keep my distance from him then. Well looks like they sent another brat who is nothing more than a child. I am no mere child Hanzo, I have my experience of war and the pain it causes. I will make sure that peace will be achieved by cooperation. What you are doing is nothing more than a tyricannal rule. With fear at its center. Alright, let's start with this. SHADOW CLONE JUTSU! Thirty clones of Naruto appeared and suddenly charged at Hanzo. He and his salamander quickly took out the thirty clones. Idiot that won't work on someone with his skill level. I wasn't using it as an actual attack, I was learning about his speed and battle style. Oh using clones and memories duh I guess I am just exhausted to have thought about that. Alright Jiraiya do you have enough chakra for a collaborative Jutsu. I will summon Gamabunta for his oil and you will use your fire and I will increase its potential even more with my wind. Wait, you can summon him? Jiraiya later! Do you have the chakra to do it? Yes I do. Ok let's do this. Naruto bit his thumb and performed the hand signs SUMMONING JUTSU! Jiraiya, why did you summon me back? You know how dangerous it is for us to fight Hanzo. I didn't summon you Bunta Arashi did. Arashi? Bunta looked down and saw Naruto. Ahh he is hiding his real name then. Probably for the best oh I see what is the plan Arashi? I need your toad oil Chief Toad. Arashi you aren't a fire style user, you are wind. Yeah I know you will combine with Jiraiya and when you shoot out the collab jutsu I will use my wind jutsu to increase its potential and range. Ah I see what a masterful plan. Alright Jiraiya and Arashi let's do this. Wind Style Tormenting Hurricane Wind Jutsu. A huge wall of wind rushed towards Hanzo and Jiraiya and Gamabunta launched their collaboration jutsu and then suddenly a huge wall of fire spawned and covered a wide area. It caused the local rain to turn to steam almost instantly and all the rain dried up on everyone's skin from the intense heat of the jutsu. Trees were instantly turned to ash. That is some intense heat Orochimaru said and Tsunade was dumbfounded at watching Naruto working in tandem with Jiraiya as if they had been teammates forever. Hanzo quickly moved out of the way and told the Salamander to unsummon itself. Then soon a bunch of other Rain ninja appeared. Alright that's enough Hanzo declared. I hereby grant you three and pointed at Arashi not you Arashi since you just showed up, but you three I give the title of the Legendary Sennin for your performance in battle. You have my word that we will not attack you for the rest of today, since our fight was so good. Go and rest up and I will tell my units to hunt you down first thing in the morning. Naruto quickly helped Tsunade up and they quickly disappeared into the forest getting away from the immediate area. Lord Hanzo, why did you let them escape? They are worthy advisory's that I hope to fight again soon. Each one of you couldn't take them on one on one and when they are a team you have an even less of a chance. Also that new arrival seems to be strong and doesn't even seem winded with the few jutsus he did. Also something about his eyes seemed different. Tomorrow morning at the break of the sun you are to attack where they are hiding.
The 4 leaf shinobi landed near the outskirts of a nearby town and rested there. Three kids quickly swiped Tsunade's food and she was about to chase them when Naruto and Jiraiya held her back. Stop it Tsunade, they are one of my side objectives sensei told me about. They are no threat to us and are probably starving so let them eat. Jiraiya got up and said I will look after them for a bit, get to know them and bring them back to the village so I can train them. Tsunade was shocked to say the least. They have been through hell and seen a lot of things that our village has done to them and their country. It is the least I can do for them. I should be back within the year. I will stay in contact with the village and help during the war when I am needed with you all so do not worry about that. Also it seems that Arashi has my same talents just with different elements which I will have to ask about later when I get back to the village. Naruto gave his usual grin and said well since everything is done, I will guess we should head back to the village before they change their mind and attack us again. They nodded and hopped up onto the trees and headed for home.
Naruto, lept through the trees keeping to himself as the two teammates behind them had a little conversation about all that had happened. Tsunade looked at Orochimaru and said, to think Jiraiya stayed to help those poor kids out. If it was me I would have killed them and kept on my way. Naruto got angry for a split second at him for his comment. They are children.. Orochimaru and have nothing to do with the war. You can't just kill innocent kids. They could have sold us out and may have sold out Jiraiya to the enemy. Jiraiya can take care of himself. He knew what he was getting into, Naruto briefly spoke. How can you be so sure about that Arashi? Call it a gut feeling he spoke in a monotone voice. There you go again not telling us what you are actually thinking. I trust in Jiraiya's abilities. Can you say the same if you are doubting him so much? He is our teammate and we know more about him than you do. You may know him on a personal level and see him in action all the time, but I have toI. That's impossible. Most missions he goes on are with one of us or another Jonin. Any missions he took with a random Jonin are before you ever arrived mysteriously to the village. So you cannot possibly know. I know more about you three than you can possibly imagine. Oh so are you an actual traitor and have information about us! They were about to reach for their kunai. If I was a traitor and knew so much about you and how strong you are, why didn't I kill you back there when you all were very weak? They both looked at each other knowing he had a point. Why don't you tell us about you then and what you have been doing this whole time. I would love to tell you, but I do not trust you as you don't trust me. That being the case, why would I tell you such sensitive information? If you really want to know, ask your Sensei about me and see what he says. I will do that, I should have never agreed to teach you my fighting style super strength, if I knew you were such an asshole about everything. If you were in my shoes Tsunade then you would be the exact same way. Just think about how you were about Dan and Nawaki. Ok that is it brat! She leapt forward about to hit Naruto and when she got close he grabbed her fist and leaned into her ear. That won't work on me since I know so much about you Baa Chan. WHAT DID YOU CALL ME! Oh sorry that slipped out again wasn't meant for you. I know you are lying now. I am only twenty one, I am not old you asshole why do you call me an old hag. It's a verbal reaction I get. I apologize. It won't happen again. See that it doesn't or will kill you even more than I already am going to. Well hold off when we get back to the village so I can die at home. Tsunade was shocked by that statement. Why do you want to die? I have my own reasons, but if I die there will be great tragedy in the future. Oh mister blonde here thinks he is all that and the world will miss him when he dies. It isn't that Tsunade, if your sensei deems you worthy you will understand my statement. I have had it with you and your attitude. When we give my report I will hound him until he tells me. Naruto shrugs, fine we will see what he says. Naruto leapt ahead again, taking the point to lead them back.
Naomi was waiting for everyone to arrive at the gates so they could leave to head out to back up Arashi and the Legendary Sannin, the few that were there noticed 3 figures approaching the gate. They gestured to Naomi to look and she saw Naruto, Orochimaru and Tsunade walking back to the gates. Naomi noticed that Tsunade looked very angry, Orochimaru had no tell of what he was feeling and Naruto seemed to be lost in thought. As they enter the gate Naruto jogged up to Naomi and said the mission is complete and he will report to Hiruzen to let him know they would be ready to reassign their team if needed. She nodded and asked where Jiraiya was. He is currently watching some war orphans he will be back later. She nodded and told the current teammates there that everything was done and can go home and rest until we receive word of another mission. Naomi turned back towards Naruto and said "I will wait here until the rest of the team arrives so I can tell them to head back home and rest." Naruto nodded and said I will head to the tower and give my report with these two. Hey Arashi? Yes, when you get some time, will you meet me at the Dango shop, I would love to talk to you and get to know you? Why do you want to get to know me? I am a random stranger you just met? That's exactly why I want to meet with you. Just to get to know you formally. It's not a date or anything. I know a lot about everyone who lives here and you are the only one I do not know anything about. Well Naomi it will probably be very boring for you. I highly doubt that she said confidently. Naruto was confused and remembered what Hiruzen said . "Try to make friends that can help share the burden with you. Just choose who you reveal any information to, knowing they may slip up." Naruto thought that I don't even know her from my time let alone any information about any other Uchihas. Alright how about you let me know when you are free and come to my apartment and we go. I doubt I will be out on many missions right now so I will be free. If you don't find me at my apartment you can find me at the training grounds. She nodded and smiled perfectly. I will keep you to that. Tsunade then yelled, What the hell, you will talk to her, but not me! Tsunade calm down, remember how I said I know you more than you can possibly imagine. I do not know a damn thing about her either. Well I could tell you everything about her including measurements. TSUNADE! This guy will open up to you, but not me this is outrageous. Like I said Tsunade just ask Hiruzen then you may find out. Oh I plan on it. Naomi felt a sweat drop from her head. This is the first time Tsunade ever did something like that. Tsunade also, do you want to get drinks later on today? No, I am so mad I can't even think straight and I am tired as hell. When I tell our report and demand Sensei to let me know about Arashi here, I will be going home and going to bed. She nodded another time then. Ugh sure. Tsunade replied. Both of you, let's hurry up and do this. I want to go to bed.
Tsunade barged into the Hokage's office. Sensei mission is complete, we are here to give you the report. He nodded and lowered down the papers he was working on. After Tsunade gave a long detailed report, I see Jiraiya will be bringing the kids back later this year when he earns their trust. She nodded. Alright thank you for the report Tsunade I need to see you alone the both of you are dismissed l. Arashi then spoke. I told Naomi and her team that we have returned and everyone assigned to the team will head back home and await further orders from you. Hiruzen nodded and thanked Naruto alright you both may go. ANBU leave us as well. The secret Anbu left out the door with them, then Hiruzen then got up and activated a silencing seal and privacy seal and shut the curtains to the windows. Tsunade was now confused. What are you doing Sensei? I am going to have a very classified conversation with you. Can it wait? I want to know information about Arashi. He says he knows me and my team better than they could possibly imagine. Well Tsunade that is exactly what I was gonna talk to you about. Then why all the secrecy. Arashi's information is highly classified and could really make him a target and people will be bombarding him with questions. He opened his file and handed it to Tsunade. He handed it to Tsunade. Why is it so small? You said he has been on secret missions for a long time yet even with that there should be more papers in his file than just his basic info. That is very insightfully deduction Tsunade and you would be correct. That is the public information, and what you see is an alias. He removes his Hokage picture, swipes his blood on the seal and enters the safe's combination. He pulled out a bigger file and Tsunade was curious. What is that? This is the actual file of him.. What I'm assigning you is a double SS class mission with no pay. No pay, are you serious? Why would I accept it? This is a mission for you and Arashi and will be inside the village and out and about on other missions and take years to complete. Ok can you give me the details? It's a mission to get to know and befriend Arashi Uzu. Are you serious? Why would I do that? He is an asshole and hides stuff from us. I told him to do that, but I realized why he is also keeping to himself is not smart and would drive him to madness. This mission will also prevent you from leaving the village when the war is over. I told you sensei that I wanted to leave and live my life outside the village . I have lost everything of importance to me. I know Tsunade, but so has Arashi, but on a much larger scale than you with Dan and Nawaki. She was now mad yeah so what? Find someone else to console him. I'm not asking you to help him get back on his feet, he doesn't need that he doesn't have any friends and you will understand why if you accept this mission and this is the only way I will reveal anything to you Tsunade. Ugh fine I won't leave the village. Hell you may take him away from the village with you if you accept this mission. Alright I accept this mission, but I will also take Shizune with me and train her to be my apprentice. He nodded and agreed to let her do that. Alright the terms of this mission are as follows, you are to not tell anyone what I have shown you, and what information you have learned from Arashi to anyone is that clear if I find out you do I will have a Yamanaka delve into your memories and seal them both away in your mind and the person you told. Also I will keep you confined to the village and not assign you missions until I can trust you again. Tsunade was never threatened by her Sensei before. She knew something was up. Alright give me a second to pull out a few pages for you to look at. He pulled two pages off the top, what looks to be a picture and a page or two in the middle of his file. He takes the new pages and puts them into the folder. Alright sit down and we will start.
