Hello all, here is the next chapter! Thanks for reading.

Things get crazier, because when don't they? Emily got an A text telling her to expose Ezra and Aria's relationship to Ella. She took off in the middle of the night, and Hanna filled them in about what happened. The girls ended up meeting with Doctor Sullivan, and she now knows about A, and how they have been tortured by the infamous stalker. She ended up disappearing, and the girls got a text from A letting them know that they are behind her disappearance. Before she disappeared, Dr. Sullivan told the girls to meet at her office because she found out who A is.

Aria broke up with Ezra. They had a talk about everything, including Aria's recent revelations. Ezra agreed that they just weren't meant to be and wished her all the happiness in the world. They parted on friendly terms.

Later on, Aria caught her parents arguing over the best treatment for Mike. Her father wanted to be more authoritarian whereas her mother doesn't think that's the best route to take. Ella and Mike got into a scuffle with his laptop that he was refusing to part with, and Ella ended up hurting her wrist because of his aggression. Ella made Aria swear to keep what happened from her father, but she knew it was wrong to withhold that information. She just wants her brother to get better. Lying is probably not the best way to help him heal. Mike told her his fears about not ever getting better, and Aria just held him as he cried. She finally confessed to her parents about Mike's previous break-ins.

Emily and Maya reconnected but are taking things slowly. Hanna and her stepsister to be had it out at the rehearsal dinner. Kate made Hanna think they made up but was really getting her drunk to make her look bad in front of everyone. The night ended with Hanna's father being angry with her for getting sick on Isobel's dress. Spencer caught Peter Hastings coming out of the DiLaurentis house and confronted him about what he was doing there. Peter later revealed to her that he was paid off by the family to change a will to include Jason in it. Spencer told Aria about this in hopes that she could talk to Jason and find out more. She felt that Peter was holding back something important.

That leads to now, where Aria is standing on Jason's front porch. It's been two days since they've seen each other and since they had their date. Aria feels the flush come over her body at the memory of she and Jason being intimate. She sure has missed him. She knocks on his door and waits. He opens the door and Aria's jaw slackens at the sight before her. Jason is shirtless, sweaty, and has drywall mud all over his person. Apparently, this turns her on. Jason smiles at her in greeting before using the knuckle of his forefinger to help her pick her jaw up from the floor. He leans down and kisses her softly.

"Hey, what are you doing here? I wasn't expecting you," he motions to his appearance, "Obviously."

Aria chuckles, "No worries, I like the work-worn look. It suits you," she bites her lips and appraises him once again. The look in her eye makes Jason want to show her how much he's missed her the past couple of days, but he really needs to finish his work on the guest bathroom.

"So…" he trails.

"So… what?" she asks.

"So, what are you doing here? You never answered me," he smiles.

"Oh! Well, I was hoping I could talk to you about something a little serious. But you're obviously busy. I could come back another time."

"No, that's okay. I'll take a break for a bit. Is everything okay, Ar?" He brushes a lock of her hair from her face and assesses her appearance to make sure she's okay.

"Oh, Jase, I'm fine. Really. Its just Spencer told me some things and she asked if I would talk to you about them. You know since I see you more than she does," Aria shrugs.

Jason's demeanor changes slightly, and he huffs. "What does she want to know now?"

"She just said that she and her father had an argument. I guess she saw him coming out of your house and confronted him about it. He told her that he was hired by your mom to change your grandmother's will to include you in it. But Spencer seems to think that Peter is hiding something else from her."

Jason nods, "Yeah. He did change it. Alison went to our grandmother's and convinced her to cut me out of the will. She told her that I was abusing drugs and alcohol, and that I couldn't be trusted with money like that. So, when grandmother passed and mom found out about the will, she hired Peter to fix it. With Ali gone, I ended up getting her portion as well."

"I'm sorry that Ali did that to you, Jason."

He shrugs, "It's okay. That was what she did. It's like she wasn't happy unless she was doing something to hurt someone else."

Aria agrees. "Okay, so what about Peter. Do you know what he's hiding from Spencer?"

Jason flinches, "Yeah, I do. But I want to be the one to tell Spencer, so I need you to keep this to yourself until I do."

"Sure, you can trust me," she says, taking his hand in hers.

He smiles, "Turns out, Mr. Hastings and my mom had an affair. I'm the result of it."

Jason stares at Aria while she figures out what he just told her.

Aria gasps, "So… that means that you're- Spencer is your sister?"

He nods, "So is Melissa. I wish I'd have known that back in the day. I don't know if you heard but I kissed Melissa when we were in high school. Our parents found out and freaked. We weren't allowed to see each other again. That could have been prevented if they'd just told us before."

"I'm sorry. They definitely should have told you."

"I agree, but my dad doesn't know. That's why we didn't know either. My mom was trying to keep him from finding out about her affair."

"Right." Aria feels herself getting angry. Jason doesn't deserve all of the things he's been through. His mother was so selfish that she kept this from him.

"What's wrong?" he asks her concerned.

"I just- I hate that they hurt you like that. You're amazing, Jason. You don't deserve that."

Aria hugs him tightly, not caring about the sweat, dirt, and drywall mud that is possibly coating her dress from the contact.

He hugs her back tightly, closing his eyes briefly and taking in her scent. She calms him down, somehow. It's like magic.

"Parents suck. I don't really know what else to say. My dad already hates me, and I'm sure once he finds out that I'm not really his, he won't want anything to do with me. Peter doesn't want anything to do with me either," Jason sighs.

Aria squeezes him a bit tighter. "You know who does want something to do with you?" she looks up at him, eyebrow quirked. She wants to lighten the mood.

"Who?" he smiles.

"Me." Aria lifts up on her toes to kiss him lovingly, pouring her feelings into the kiss. Jason kisses her back just as sweetly, pulling her up slightly by her lower back. He releases her a minute later and lowers his forehead to hers, "Thanks, Ar. You have no idea what that means to me."

She smiles a beaming smile at him. "I'm here anytime you need me, okay?

Jason nods, "Thanks. I need to get back to work, but let's do something soon okay. I've missed you." He kisses her again, softly.

"Okay," she hugs him, resting her head against his heart. It's rhythmic beating makes her relax, although she's still angry for him. It's no wonder he turned to drugs and alcohol. He's been through so much, and it's how he copes. His big, strong arms are warm around her petite frame, and she wishes she could stay there forever. She kisses his neck, his jaw, and then once more on his lips before she pulls away.

Jason's green eyes flit to hers and she's surprised by the intensity there.

"See you later, beautiful."

Aria blushes, "See you."

Aria stops at Spencer's before she heads home. She hates that she's going to have to lie to her friend, but Jason asked her not to tell Spencer about their relation. He wanted to be the one to do that, and she would respect his wishes.

Spencer practically drags Aria in the door when she sees her approach.

"So, what did he say?"

Aria shrugs, "The same thing you told me. Your dad changed his grandmother's will."

"That's it? There's nothing else going on?"

"He didn't say anything." Aria lied.

"There's got to be something I'm missing. I figured Jason would tell you of all people if there was something else going on."

"Spence, let it go, okay?"

"Sure, sure."

That was too easy, Aria thinks. She knows Spencer better than that. She won't stop digging until she finds out.

"I need to get home. Mike is going to a rehab facility, and I want to be there to see him off."

Spencer hugs her, "Okay, thanks. Tell your parents I'm thinking of them."

"I will, see you later."

After seeing her father and Mike off, Aria heads to her room. Ella joins her a few minutes later.

"Hey, can we talk?"

"Sure, mom. What's up?"

"Well, I just want to apologize. I shouldn't have asked you to lie about what happened. It did nothing to help the situation, and it was wrong of me to put you in that position."

Aria smiles, "It's okay. We all just want Mike to get better, right?"

Ella agrees. "Yes, we do. I wanted to talk to you about something else, while we have a moment."

Aria sits up, her interest piqued. "Okay?"

"I talked to your father about you seeing Jason."

She inhales sharply. "How did that go?" she asks hesitantly.

"Better than expected, actually."

Aria's eyes widen, "How so?"

"Your dad really likes Jason. He was put off by his age at first, but he told me that he's okay with it. We've known Jason almost his entire life, and he's a good guy. The two of them talked a bit at our failed dinner, and Byron says Jason is great. He really likes what Jason is doing for the kids at school. He said he wishes that there had been someone like that around for his brother back when we were still in school."

Aria feels tears pooling in her eyes at her father's praise. "Wow. That makes me so happy."

Ella smiles at her daughter, "Me, too. It's so good to see you happy, sweetie. I know that everything going on with Mike has been stressful, but you seem to be taking it in stride."

She smiles, "I'm trying. I have been so worried about him, Mom. I'm glad he's finally going to get the help that he needs. Jason has been so helpful, too. He's been explaining things from a similar perspective to Mike's. He wants to help him just as much as we do."

Ella hugs her daughter, "That's great, honey."

"Yeah, it is."

Dr. Sullivan was still missing. The four girls went to her house and found that she seemingly hadn't been home in days. Her porch was littered with rolled up newspapers, and her mailbox was overflowing. When they arrive back at Spencer's house, a package gets delivered that says, 'Open or she dies.' There are three dolls in the box that give Aria, Spencer, and Hanna instructions. They have to do what the dolls say, or Dr. Sullivan will die. Spencer is instructed to 'Keep Toby Safe,' Hanna is instructed to 'Stop the Wedding,' and Aria is instructed to "Get Rid of Jackie,' which she doesn't really understand. She and Ezra are no longer together, and she wants him to be happy. If he can be happy with Jackie, why wouldn't she want that for him. A seems to have other ideas, though.

Emily didn't receive anything in the box, which she finds puzzling. Spencer breaks things off with Toby, and she breaks down crying where Wren finds her and takes her home. Aria pulls a page out of the A playbook, and writes a threatening note, then attaches it to Jackie's plagiarized scholarly article and puts it on her desk. The note reads, "I know what you did. Leave Hollis or lose your career bitch" – A. Hanna begrudgingly stops her father's wedding by telling Isobel about her father and mother hooking up a few weeks prior. Emily, while on the way to the wedding, starts getting weird directions from her GPS. She looks in her rearview mirror and spots a doll sitting in her backseat. The doll instructs her to 'Go Alone and Follow the Directions to Dr. Sullivan'.

When Spencer arrives home with Wren, he offers her a shoulder. He steps over the line and tells her he wants to kiss her, then does so. Spencer tells him that he has horrible timing. Wait til I'm vulnerable and take advantage of that. Jerk. She thinks.

Hanna receives a text from A that Dr. Sullivan will be running out of air soon, and the girls start to panic when Emily doesn't show up to the wedding. Upon Emily's arrival to her destination, she happens upon a barn. She goes inside and finds a running car, but when she tries to open it, she realizes the doors are locked. The barn door is slammed behind her and Emily panics, trying to get it open. She passes out from the fumes emitted by the car and is eventually pulled out of the barn by someone. She hallucinates seeing Alison, who cares for her and tells her that she knows who A is, but she can't tell her.

Aria, Spencer, and Hanna find Emily and she tells them that she saw Alison. The girls look at each other disbelieving.

Spencer looks to Emily, "You probably just don't remember getting out of the barn on your own."

"No, Spence. I swear, she was just here."

"Guys," Hanna interrupts, "Look."

There's a shovel propped up against the barn, and it has coordinates on it with the words, 'You'll need this' at the top.

The girls get to where the coordinates are and see a yellow straw poking out of the ground. They all freak out and start digging, hoping to save Dr. Sullivan from death. When their digging reveals a doll head, they look at each other exasperated. That's when a police helicopter shines a light on them, and they are all taken down to the station.

Emily is given oxygen when she tells them what happened to her, and all the girls' parents are called down to the police station. They discuss obtaining a criminal attorney, and Ella spots Jason walking into the station. He looks at her worried, but Peter rushes him before Ella can speak to him. They get into a heated discussion, and Ella decides it's time to intervene.

"Peter, I need to speak with Jason. If you could give us a moment," Ella gestures with her arm for Peter to leave.

"He shouldn't be here," Peter says.

"Well, that's not up to you to decide. Go to Veronica, and I'll talk to Jason. We still need to figure out who will be representing the girls."

Peter sighs in exasperation, then walks off.

Ella looks at Jason, "Hey. What are you doing here?"

"Aria called me crying, said she did something really stupid and she's in trouble. I got here as quickly as I could."

Ella nods, "Apparently, Wilden thinks the girls are responsible for Alison's death. They were found in the woods with a shovel that the police believe to be the murder weapon. But you know as well as I do that the girls didn't do it!"

Jason nods, "I know they didn't. What were they doing out there in the woods?"

Ella shrugs, "I don't know. There is a lot that doesn't add up. I've been talking to Ashley Marin lately, and we think that someone's been targeting the girls. But they won't tell us anything. We need to find out what's going on so we can help them."

Jason agrees. "What can I do right now to help?"

Ella smiles at him, "Just be here for Aria for right now. I already paid her bail, and Veronica seems to think that a criminal attorney will be able to get them a plea deal."

"Okay," Jason smiles slightly.

Ella's curiosity gets the better of her and she has to ask. "Is everything okay, Jason? Why was Peter acting so hostile towards you?"

Jason nods, "Everything's fine. We just have some unfinished business."

When the girls get released, Aria charges over to Jason and jumps into his arms. He catches her, slightly stumbling back on the sidewalk. Aria is crying, and she's covered in dirt. Jason holds onto her tightly, worried about what she's not telling him. He looks over to Spencer who is embracing her mother, concerned. There has to be something true about what Ella told him. Someone must be targeting the girls. Maybe it's the same person that left him that note on the night of Alison's murder.

Jason lowers Aria to the ground, then strokes her cheek. "Hey, baby, look at me."

She keeps her gaze firmly planted on the ground and sniffles.

"Please Ar, look at me."

She slowly raises her head to look at Jason, and he sees that her eyes are bloodshot. He kisses her firmly on the mouth, cupping her cheek. "It's okay," he says when he pulls away.

Aria shakes her head, "No, it's not."

Jason pulls her close, hugging her. "Tell me what's going on. I'll help you."

She mentally wars with herself. She wants to tell him about A. But what will happen if A finds out that he knows about them? She doesn't want anything to happen to him. She cares about him too much to put him in harm's way. Is it more dangerous for him to not know?

"Tell me", he repeats.

Aria nods, grasping his hand. "Let's go sit on that bench over there, and I'll tell you."

They walk to the bench in the square and take a seat. Aria tells him everything. She starts from the beginning, and he learns all about this A person that has been threatening the four girls. He worries for their safety, Aria and Spencer's most of all.

"You can't tell anyone about this, Jason. You're not even supposed to know. I couldn't bear it if anything happened to you."

"I won't, I promise. I can't help but wonder if this is the same person who left me that note."

Aria nods, "It could be."

They get up and head towards her parents, Aria retreats to say goodbye to the other three girls leaving Jason with Ella and Byron.

Byron extends his hand to Jason, "Jason. Thanks for coming and being here for Aria. I'm sure this is hard on you considering the investigation is about your sister."

Jason bites his top lip, shakes the proffered hand. "It's not easy, but I know Aria. She wouldn't hurt anyone. We have to help them."

Byron smiles, "Yes, we do. I'd like you to come to dinner tomorrow. Maybe we can brainstorm, and I'd like to get to know you since you're seeing my daughter."

He sweats a bit but responds. "Sure, I'll be there."
