There was a minute of silence between the two after what she said.

"Hammock made you dance earlier infront of the class?! I bet you look really funny dancing! I wish i could have see it myself! Shishishi."

"Senpai let's not talk about it anymore. That was really embarrassing!"

Law and Hancock's attention was caught by Luffy's loud laughters. The other two girls were laughing as well but more careful not to make any loud noises unlike Luffy who's laughing her heart out with her hands on her stomach. While the boy was hiding his face with his palms, his ears are so red looking so embarrassed.

Hancock let out a chuckle before she turned her attention to Law again.

"I was thinking maybe it was just because of the healthy competition we had that's keeping me going, i lost interest with medicine soon after you left."

"You've lost interest?" Law asked.

There were really instances that people would go through things like that but he didn't expect she would become one of those people.

"That's right." Hancock nodded.

"To tell you the truth, I really envied you back then, because you are sure of what you wanted to do, what your goals are and what your plans are in the future..." "...while me on the other hand, was just another persistent girl who wasn't even sure if what she's pursuing was right."

Law was surprised, he didn't know she's been struggling that time.

"I met Luffy soon after you left, it might sound funny but she made me realized things." She smiled.

"Chi- I mean, Luffy-ya?" Law asked curiously.

Hancock just smiled at how cute he's calling Luffy but decided not to voice it out and just continued talking.

"Yes, she was one my dad's student back when he's still teaching. She brought her along at home once because she failed his subject, damn she couldn't even solve a single math problem!" she laughed.

'That's not surprising.' Law thought.

"Despite of that, i was wondering why she was my dad's favorite among all of his students. But now i completely understand why. I won't tell you the reason why though. Find it out yourself." she smiled gently.

Law is well acquainted with Hancock's father. Rayleigh. He's one of those few people he respects. And Hancock is a person who's hard to please and picky when it comes to people, and now he known that both Rayleigh and Hancock are so fond of Luffy.

Law glance at where Luffy was, she's still laughing loudly. Luffy is really something, she never failed to amazed him.

"Isn't it your dream to work abroad? Did that changed as well?" he changed the topic, before the woman notice that Law himself is now fond of Luffy too.

"I can go abroad whenever i want, but i still like it here in this little town. Luffy is here after all." She shrugged.

"You seem to like Luffy-ya a lot, Sensei." He said mockingly.

"Oh, that's an understatement Trafalgar, if she's a boy i would've marry her. Though, it's not even necessary." She exclaimed.

Law almost laugh at the professors ridiculous statement.

"Do you have a thing for girls?" Law jokingly asked trying to ride the professors joke.

"So what if i am? You have a problem with that?" Hancock eyed him with an indecipherable expression.

Law didn't know what to react. He wasn't expecting that kind of that response from the professor. He thought she's just saying that to tease him.

"Are you serious?"

"Why do you think i turned down countless of guys and has always been sorrounded by girls back then?" She smirked.

"..."

"Oh right, you didn't know, you're a nerd who only cares about studying." Hancock let's out a laugh and went on, ignoring Law who's on a daze trying to process what she's saying.

"It wasn't that bad being popular back then, i wouldn't be questioned why I don't get myself a boyfriend. They will only think it's because i have a high standards, plus, there are many girls approaching me trying to befriend me. It was heaven. God, this bring back memories."

"..."

"I also have to thank you, there aren't that many guys asking me out because they thought you were my boyfriend. You did a great job looking scary and intimidating. They're all scared of you."

His expression hardened with his jaw clenched. So she's really into Luffy? he asked at the back of his mind. He noticed how Hancock has been distant with the boys in their school back then and she's extremely close with girls but he didn't give it much thought because he thought it was natural. He doesn't have any problem with people like her but..

'Shit, what is this feeling of annoyance?'

This feels different than when his father and other people annoy him.

Hancock was enjoying the scary look Law was giving her, it's almost as if he's emitting a dark aura around him. She's suppressing herself not to burst into laughter but failed.

"I'm just kidding!" Hancock jokingly said and laughs.

Law looks at her with disbelief. Which part was she kidding? about her liking Luffy? or her sexuality? Fuck. Why do i even care? What am i thinking? He should be the one making fun of her, but it seemed like he was the one being teased!

"You really did change, Trafalgar. Don't worry, I'm only teasing you." She leaned on her chair with a small smile.

"Tsk."

"Why? did you get nervous? Say Trafalgar, do you like Luffy?"

Law choked on his own saliva with her sudden question.

Hancock's lips pursed at his reaction.

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

"Interesting... so you're in denial stage, I see." she added and crossed her arms.

"Back then, i couldn't even read what you're thinking no matter how much i pissed you off. You never loose you cool. What happened now Trafalgar?" she smirked.

"Shut up."

"You know, Luffy... there are many people around her waiting for their chance. Admit it already before it gets too late."

That's it. Law has had enough of this conversation. He wanted to end the conversation and leave already, surprisingly Luffy was now waking towards them and the three students she's talking to were already keeping their things. He sighed in relief.

Hancock frowned at the expression plastered on Law's face when he saw Luffy coming. She's doesn't need Law's answer to confirm her suspicion. She knew it, the surgeon had a thing for Luffy the moment he saw them outside the classroom.

"Well anyway, it's nice chatting with you again, although i was the only one who really did the talking." She rolled her eyes.

"I'm used to it. You won't even reply a single word to me back then, i can say that you've improved." she continued.

"I just find it a waste of my time engaging in an unintelligent conversation. But I'll let this one slide." Law smirked.

"What did you say?!" Hancock yelled in anger. She didn't notice Luffy was already there, standing beside Law.

"Oi, you guys aren't finished yet?" Luffy asked, totally clueless of the tension between the two.

"We're done here, Chibi-ya." Law answered unbothered by Hancock's angry stares.

"Great! Torao, let's go eat with my friends outside!" Luffy hold on to Law's arm and shook him lightly.

Law who was still smirking agreed mindlessly, he didn't heard clearly what Luffy is saying, he just wanted to get out of the room as soon as possible.

"Yosh. Oh, one more thing, Hammock-sensei, can you not tell my brothers about this? They're going to be a pain in the ass if they knew." Luffy asked Hancock hopefully with a puppy eyes.

That's when Hancock soften her face and smiled at the adorable girl infront of her.

"Okay, I'll just come over your place to teach you with the lessons you've missed." Hancock smiled.

"Err- you really don't have to." Luffy waved her hand to tell her it's fine but Hancock was already checking her schedule when she'll be free to come over to Luffy's place.

"How about tomorrow? or this evening?" She mumbled.

"Whatever. We're going now." Luffy said before dragging Law out of the classroom leaving Hancock with her thoughts..

~~~
"I'm stuffed! that was really a nice dinner! Whaddya say Torao? Barto's grandma is the best right?"
He nodded and listen to Luffy talked about how tasty the crab she ate earlier.
Law and Luffy are in the car now ready to get Luffy home. They just left that Barto boy's house. When they left Hancock's classroom earlier, Luffy introduced Law to her three friends, the short haired girl was named Camie and the other girl was Rebecca. The roaster head boy was Bartolomeo. They seemed good friends with Luffy but the boy really annoyed Law a lot. And it obvious how that cresthead didn't like him either. He only treats him nicely because of Luffy. He invited them to eat at his grandmother's house which agreed by Luffy instantly that's why he never had a chance to refuse and get dragged by her.
She talked and talked until she falls asleep. They arrived at the place Luffy said, it's a flower shop.
He was about to wake her up but he noticed how peaceful she's sleeping, it seems like she's really tired for the day.
'I guess, I'll just wait for her to wake up.' He thought.
It was so quiet now that she's sleeping. The only thing he hears is her breathing. Many thoughts started flooding his mind.
'Say Trafalgar, do you like Luffy?'
Hancock's voice echoed on his mind.
"Shit. Why am i thinking about that." He mumbled.
He focused his gaze outside and tried to forget about the thought.
'You know, Luffy... there are many people around her waiting for their chance. Admit it already before it gets too late.'
He suddenly remember how close Luffy and that Barto boy earlier was. How he keeps on holding Luffy and almost offering her all what comes to his mind. He didn't like how close they were and how the boy had a faint blush on his cheek everytime Luffy smiles at him, he could barely control himself from ripping Luffy away from the male.
He exactly knows what he's feeling... he's not naive not to recognize what he's calling an annoyance and he doesn't want to admit it.
"Fuck!" He cursed under his breath.
He brought back his glance at the clueless teenager who was still innocently sleeping beside him.
Could he seriously be into this girl?
'This is ridiculous. Trafalgar, you're totally screwed.'
