"Thanks Omar." Alexis says as Omar gives her a red velvet chocoroll as the two are sitting by the stream.
"No problem. I know you've been wanting one." Omar says.
"Hey." A voice says revealing to be Maya as she walks up.
"Oh. Hey Maya." Alexis says happily as Omar looks at Maya.
"Could I talk to Alexis for a bit? Alone." Maya says.
"Sure Maya." Alexis says as she stands up.
"Alexis." Omar says as Alexis looks at him.
"It's okay." Alexis says reassuringly.
"Okay." Omar says reluctantly before Alexis walks off with Maya.
*Timeskip*
"So sup." Maya says as she and Alexis stop in a field by a tree.
"What's up?" Alexis asks as she smiles.
"Listen I'm really sorry for before. I didn't mean to hurt you or Omar." Maya says as she runs her arm.
"I know you didn't." Alexis says.
"I just wanted to be cool. And instead all I did was become an enemy to my friends. The only people who ever actually liked me." Maya says.
"Maya that's not true. Xavier was a jerk but the other champions like you." Alexis says.
"I guess but I still lost you and Omar because I was stupid." Maya says.
"You didn't lose us. Least not me. Omar is gonna take a little while but I never stopped caring about you." Alexis says as she smiles.
"You still care about me?" Maya asks curiously.
"Yeah. I really like you back then and I still really like you. That hasn't changed." Alexis says before blushing realizing what she said.
"What do you mean?" Maya asks.
"Oh uh nothing. Just uh that were still friends. I should uh probably head back to Omar." Alexis says as she tries to leave only for Maya to grab her wrist and stop her.
"Alexis! Please. Tell me what you mean. I can tell when someone is hiding something." Maya says.
"It might make things worse Maya." Alexis says worriedly.
"Let me decide that. You took a chance on me. Let me do the same by hearing how you feel about our past together." Maya says as she let's Alexis go.
"I like you. I really like you." Alexis says shyly.
"You like me?" Maya asks in surprise.
"Yeah. I know it's silly but-" Alexis then gets cut off by Maya.
"It's not silly." Maya says.
"Huh?" Alexis asks as she looks at Maya.
"I really like you too. I have for a while. I just never made it evident because I thought I really messed up with you altogether." Maya says.
"Oh Maya. Yes you made mistakes but that just means you're human." Alexis says as she smiles at Maya.
"So you're not mad at me?" Maya asks as Alexis shakes her head.
"I could never be mad at you." Alexis says before Maya kisses her causing her to blush.
"You know you look really cute when you blush like that." Maya says proudly.
"No fair. You sneak attacked me." Alexis says annoyedly while blushing.
"Might not have been fair but I certainly enjoyed the result. Besides I'm not gonna let what others think of me stop me from truly being happy anymore. I like you and I'm done hiding that." Maya says proudly.
"If that's the case then that means I can do this." Alexis says as she kisses Maya causing her to blush.
"Hey!" Maya says as Alexis chuckles.
"Payback ain't so fun when it's on the other foot is it now?" Alexis asks proudly.
"No but I hope I get plenty more of those chances." Maya says as she smiles.
"Really?" Alexis asks.
"Yeah. I'd like to be more than friends with you if that's okay. I'd like to start doing better at being a friend to everyone including you and Omar." Maya says.
"I don't mind that and I know Omar won't in time. Come on. Let's enjoy the time alone before my brother comes looking for me." Alexis says as she holds hands with Maya before walking around.
