13. Battlefront of Feoh

Many hours have passed since the Kuroinu began raiding Feoh after days of waiting. The battle is still going on however there are already many casualties for the people of Feoh on the streets. Shield Knights, Guild Members, and citizens have already fallen victim to the Kuroinu surprise attack from the explosion that destroyed parts of the south and east wall. The Females got the worse of it they were being raped by dirty mercs and demons in the middle of the invasion some who didn't want to be violated and turned into Sex Slaves took their own lives to save themselves from a fate worse than death.

However, the Kuroinu didn't walk over them so easily; they were facing surprisingly big resistance. The citizens who were helping the Shield Knights, and Guild Members were putting up a tough fight for them which they didn't expect. They were trained, coordinated, and know how to use a weapon properly!

Their inside man, the Prime Minister informed Derreck that the Mandalorian alongside a few other Shield Knights was training them to help defend Feoh but the Field Commander brushed it believing his forces can still take over Feoh even if citizens are helping. But there is one thing Derreck is overlooking and that is the Mandalorian who is slowly becoming a problem for his dogs and has been putting down a lot of them.

At a guard post in the city, a mixed group of SHield Knights, Guild Members, and citizens were preparing to hold off another wave of Kuroinu that is coming to them. The Kuroinu has been attacking them relentlessly since the beginning and they can't keep it forever.

"Damn it they just keep coming"

"Just keep holding the line!"

"We can't let their breakthrough!"

"Here they come!"

The Kuroinu wave charged at them a few mercs and hobgoblin in the mix but as they were coming to them the guards saw something landing in front of the group what appeared to be a ball and then-

*BANG!*

A loud bang and flash of light burst out of it blinding and stunning the Kuroinu. Many of the Dogs screamed covering their ears or eyes from the loud ringing noise echoing in their heads or the sudden flash of light or both

The guards were confused at what happened neither them threw anything until one of them saw someone coming out from an alley ahead of them

Running out from an alley and into the group of mercs & demons is the Mandalorian he has his gun in one hand and in the other a bloody dagger. He fired 2 point-blank shots at 2 stunned Kuroinu mercs in the head Dredgen then slashes a hobgoblin across its neck and stabs another hob on top of its skull.

Dredgen fired another shot killing another merc he pulled out his dagger from the dead hobs skull as he did the remained of the Kuroinu wave slowly managed to regain their senses from his flashbang but before they could even know what was happening the Mandalorian flicked his wrist using his flamethrower on the rest

The last of the Kuroinu screamed in agony being engulfed in flames. Some dropped to the ground and started rolling and some ran blindly crashing into windows or walls. Soon the fire consumed all of them killing them their bodies began to the charred

With all of them dealt with The Mandalorian took a moment to get a breather he wipes away the blood off his dagger and reload his gun. Dredgen has been dealing a lot of Kuroinu since this invasion began nearly every group of mercs/demons he encountered so far has been gunning for him the moment they see him he's probably guessing the Bounty Vault put on him is substantial is make them chase after him. He's almost flattered by it.

Dredgen then approaches the guard post the Kuroinu was about to attack. As he was walking he noticed that some of the guards were in awe and some were horrified at what they had just witnessed. He doesn't pay much mind to it but to them, this Bounty Hunter wiped out a wave of Kuroinu single handle with brutal efficiently

"So you're that Mandalorian everyone's talking about eh?" A Young Male Shield Knight said getting Dredgens attention "Came to help us with your superior training?"

Dredgen stops in his tracks and looks at the Shield Knight "This Mandalorian is standing between you and a bloody death. So you best be better showing some respect warrior."

The Shield Knight twitched in fear for a moment and quickly straighten up "Y-Yes sir! W-What are your orders sir?"

"Do what you've all been doing so far. Kill any Kuroinu you see." Dredgen answers

"Y-Yes sir!" The SHield Knight saluted to him even though it was unnecessary though Dredgen appreciates it

The Mandalorian nods his head farewell to the guards and processes to head to Alicia. Last he heard where she might be is at the east wall of Holy Temple from a Kuroinu he overheard before killing him. Dredgen is not far from the south gate of the Holy Temple he knows he can get to Alicia quicker if he takes that way.

The Bounty Hunter carefully trek through the Battlefronts of Feoh and processed to head to the south gate he took various alleys to avoid being spotted by any Kuroinu lurking in the streets. On his way Dredgen was nearing Elenora's church last he heard a lot of people went there for shelter but doesn't know if the Kuroinu managed to hit it or not but has a bad feeling they've already had.

He poke his head out from the alley and unfortunately, he was right the Kuroinu had raided it and pretty hard. Many of the windows are shattered, the main door was busted wide open, and there were a few dead Shield Knights and citizens near the entrances. The church looks deserted now

Our Mandaloiran sighed at this there's nothing he can do now, he's hoping Elenora and the others manage to get out safely. Just as he was about to head out he see then group of Kuroinu mercs entering the damaged Church. Dredgen raised a brow underneath his helmet why were going in there? It's already been raided.

He knows he needs to get to Alicia but has a gut feeling those mercs are up to something and by the look of their faces they all had eager hungry looks. Perhaps Elenora and some others barricaded themselves in a room and these Dogs are back for them. He should check it out.

The Bounty Hunter processed and enters the church he hid behind a pillar near the main door. Inside was a complete mess, the rows of seats were scattered and destroyed and a few dead bodies mostly citizens. There were 8 Kuroinu some looking around the place hoping to find any valuables. One who looks to be the leader of the group was slamming his fist and kicking at a door that is presumed to be locked and barricaded from the inside

"Come on out Priestess! We know you're in there. Let us fuck that sexy body of yours and those kids won't get hurt by us. Hell, the boys might like to see that as well!"

The other mercs laughed at their leader's words they're all gonna enjoy that Priestess's pussy and that door doesn't look like it can hold much longer

Dredgen felt somewhat angry and disgusted hearing that. Neither of them is gonna lay a hand on Elenora or the kids while he's here. It seems they didn't notice him entering the church, the element of surprise he has on them.

"Open this door Priestess! Don't make me- *Ping!*

Before the leader could even finish he got disintegrated into thin air. All of his comrade's eyes widen in shock they all looked where their leader was just at and now he's gone

"What the hel-Gra!"

Before the other guy could say it a crossbow bolt went through his skull killing him instantly. The rest of the Kuroinu turned around and sees Dredgen behind him holding his spearbolt at them

"Why, hello there."

"It's him! It's Mando!"

"Kill him!"

One charged at the Mandalorian with a mace he swung his weapon at him. Dredgen used the base of his spearbolt to block his attack. He quickly used the butt of his stock to bash against the mercs face pushing back a bit. The merc lets out a groan in pain before feeling something sharp piercing his chest, he coughed out blood before taking his last breath

Dredgen kicks the dead merc off of his spearbolt as he did he sees another merc with his sword swinging at him. With no time to dodge the Mandalorian raised his forearm blocking the sword strike with his vambrace.

The Mandalorian backhands punch against his attacker across his face before grabbing his shirt and headbutting him against his helmet knocking the Kuroinu merc to the ground. The last thing the merc saw was the stock of the Bounty Hunters spear before having his skull bashed in killing him on the spot.

2 of the Kuroinu mercs growled in frustration seeing that 4 of them have been killed by this Bounty Hunter. Both charged at the Mandalorian attacking him at the same time.

Dredgen took a step back using his quick wits to dodge and block their incoming attacks with his spearbolt. These 2 mercs are fast but sloppy and undisciplined they both seem focused on wanting to hit the bounty hunter rather than caring about the other even shoving one another just to have a chance

The Mandalorian blocks a sword strike he quickly sways the merc's extended arm towards his comrade who just tried to go for a hit but accidentally slashed the merc's arm instead.

"Ahhh! You Dumbfuck!" The first merc screamed in pain falling to the ground.

Before the second merc could even say anything or apologize Dredgen bashed him across the face with the base of his spearbolt knocking some teeth out in the process before finishing him with a slash to the throat.

The first merc who is bleeding on the ground is trying to squirm away as he sees the Mandalorian turn his attention towards him

"W-Wait! Don't! GRAH!"

Dredgen jabs his spearbolt down onto the merc's neck he quickly turns around to the last merc but just he did-

*BANG!*

The last merc shot Dredgen in the chest with a gun knocking him back a bit but thankfully was unharmed thanks to his Beskar armor. The merc was shocked at what he witnessed but before he could even process it, the Mandalorian who is slightly agitated getting shot he fired his rope launcher at him in retaliation.

The rope wrapped around the merc's neck. He lets a gasp for air before Dredgen yanks the rope toward him as he got close the Mandalorian jab his spearbolt into his heart finishing him off.

With all of them dead the Mandalorian lets out a breath, he stows away his spearbolt and quickly went to the door the leader was at

"High Priestess Elenora! It's me!" Dredgen shouted knocking on the door.

There was no response until-

"D-Dredgen? Is..is that you?" Elenora sounded surprised to hear the Mandalorian voice

"Yes. I've dealt with the Kuroinu it's safe to-"

"The fuck happened here!?"

"Nevermind"

Dredgen quickly turns around to see a group of mercs at the main door and none are happy to see their comrades dead on the ground. More dogs to deal with.

Inside the cluttered room Elenora and many others mostly children and a few elderly heard what sounded like fighting on the other side of the door again. Some of the kids were crying they can't believe this is happening. The High Priestess and a few of the elderly tried to assure them it's gonna be okay but they are unsure what's gonna happen to them.

*BASH*

"Ahhh!"

Nearly everyone screamed when a battle ax hit the door they heard an angry merc growling in frustration

"Grrr hold still you bastard! "The Merc pulled out his ax from the door and charged back the Bounty Hunter

Everyone in the small room held their breath as they continue to hear fighting on the other side. Slowly they heard the sound of men letting out screams one by one and then nothing

After a moment of silence Eleonora stood up she slowly went up to the damaged door and peeked through the hole to see Dredgen standing trying to catch his breath, he tosses a bloody ax he just used to the ground, and surrounded him on the ground were many dead Kuroinu he killed. The Highness Priestess was shocked but amazed to see Dredgen was able to defeat all of them on his own.

The High Priestess lets out a sigh of relief they're safe now thanks to him. In fact, before he came she was praying, hoping someone will come and save them and it seems the Goddess had answered her prayer. She slowly opens the door the loud creaking noise caught the Mandalorian attention. He went up to Elenora and as she came out.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm okay." Eleonora answers with a small smile "We're glad that you showed up"

"Had a strange gut feeling when I saw these Kuroinu coming here." Dregen explains "What about the kids are any of them hurt?"

"They're scared but okay in a matter of speaking."

Dredgen felt a little relieved to hear that he was glad that he came here. Many of the children slowly came out nearly all of them were horrified to see the dead bodies on the ground a few of the elderly covered some of their eyes they don't need to see that. When everyone exited the room the Mandalorian noticed it was just Elenora, the orphans, and a few elders.

"Where are your colleagues?"

Elenora's face darkens and Dredgen can already tell by her expression it's something not good

Before the High Priestess could say, The Mandalorian instinct kicked in he quickly turn around pulling out his gun and aiming out the door but thankful it wasn't more Dogs.

"Dredgen?"

"Lady Iris?" Dredgen right away lift up his gun away from her and her company who was present with her

The Red-Haired Knight looked surprised but relieved to see the Mandalorian ". I feared you were dead when the explosions happened"

Dredgen was also surprised to see her he was also glad to see her too "What are you doing here?"

"We heard the Kuroinu was attacking this church and came to help but it seems you've already taken care of that." Iris answers as she looks at the many dead Kuroinus on the ground, impressed that he did this.

"I'm afraid you all arrived a little too late. Dredgen said "these were just stragglers I happened upon."

Nearly every Shield Knight sulked at this some even clenched their fist in anger failing to come in time. Iris look at the small group behind Dredgen.

"Is this who is left?"

"So it seems."

Iris felt a sense of failure within her hearing that, she made a loud sigh, if she and her company arrived more sooner then maybe they could've saved more people here but at least the Mandalorian showed up and was able to save who was left.

"Lady Iris!" Eleonora getting the Red-Haired Knights' attention the High Priestess had an urgent look on her face "I am glad that you are all here to come to help us but I need your help to rescue my colleagues!"

"Your colleagues?" Iris raised a brow

"Yes, please. Elenora begged, "The Kuroinu took them! Before Dredgen arrived I overheard one of them saying there were planning to use them as hostages."

The Shield Knight and Mandalorian raised a brow at that "Hostages? For what?"

"I don't know but it can't be good." Elenora's expression became worrying "I overheard one of them saying they were taking them through the south gate of the Holy Temple to hand them off to some demons.

"I don't like the sound of that." Iris sounds disgusted with what those dogs are planning to do.

The Mandalorian feels the same way too but for the Kuroinu to take the Nuns only to hand them off to some demons at the Holy Temple doesn't make sense the dirty mercs would've been raping them on the spot and not take them there where there is likely many Shield Knights station there. They're planning to do something with them and Dredgen got a pretty good idea of what it is

If Alicia is still at the east wall of the Holy Temple she'll likely see the Nuns being violated by the demons and will do anything to spare them even surrendering. If she does do that then everything has been lost. This is likely one of the Prime Minster's plans or Derreck whichever the case it is he cannot let the Shield Princess walk right into their hands! He may still have time before they enact their plan!

"Please Lady Iris!" Elenora pleaded "Please save my friends from the Kuroinu"

"I.."

Iris became hesitant at her request she wants to rescue them from those dogs she wants to do that it's her duty as a Shield Knight to help her people but she has these orphans and elderly here who need their help now. She knows she can't abandon them but she also can't abandon the nuns as well but she doesn't have many options.

The Red-Haired Knight hates the idea of it even splitting her forces to rescue the nuns while the other half takes Elenora and others to safety is a risk she cannot take. Her Shield Knights and herself are all good fighters but with the wave many Kuroinu they've been dealing with they'll be easily overwhelmed if their numbers are halved. She doesn't like it but has to make a hard decision here she can't spare any of her Shield KNights to help Elenoras friends

"Elenora..."Iris made a deep sigh "I'm..I'm afraid I can't."

"What!?" The High Priestess is shocked to hear that

"I need to get you and others to safety"

"But what about my colleagues?!"

Iris clenched her fist hating herself that she has to do this "There's nothing I can-

"I can do it"

"Huh?"

The Red-Haired Knight and High Priestess turned their heads to The Mandalorian.

"I was heading to the south gate anyway," Dredgen said

Elenora looked relieved to hear that the Mandalorian is willing to do so. Her colleagues were the ones who got her and many of the orphans and elderly into that small room before being taken by the Kuroinu. The High Priestess prayed for someone to rescue them from them and the Goddess again had answered her prayer

"W-Wait Dredgen you can't go. We need to get these people to safety" Iris protested his decision

"With all due respect, I can't Lady Iris." Dredgen said in a stern tone "You and your Shield KNights can handle taking High Priestess Elenora and the others to safety without me."

Iris is slightly agitated at his words but he has a point she and her Shield Knight can do it without the Mandalorian's aid and he's not part of her company but for him alone to go rescue the Nuns from the Kuroinu he's gonna need help

"Then…I'm coming with you!" Iris shouted

"Hm?"

"Although I trust your skill sets it'll be difficult even or you to rescue them alone you'll need another person to help you. My Knights can take Elenora and the others to safety without me

Dredgen just stared at the Red-Haired Knight she seem very keen on joining him to rescue the nuns but has to admit she has a point. Hostage situations are difficult even for him; he has done similar situations in the past when one of his bounties he was hunting was backed into a corner and grabbed an innocent bystander to be used as a shield. Short version the Mandalorian managed to capture his bounty unfortunately dead but without getting the bystander harmed in the process, still, it was very difficult without causing collateral damage

And now it's not just 1 hostage he needs to be careful about, it's a small group of them who are likely surrounded by demons and dogs and if he makes a mistake or slips up bad things will happen Having Iris's help can boost their chances of saving them and he can somewhat trust her.

"Very well."

Iris felt somewhat relieved to hear that she didn't expect him to agree. She then looks at one of her Shield Knights.

"Lily once you have taken these people somewhere safe help us at Holy Temple"

"Yes Lady Iris!" The Shield Knight Lily saluted at her order "We'll make sure everyone here gets to safety"

Iris smiled a little at her colleague "Good…and please be careful, all of you.

"We will Lady Iris".

With an affirming nod, Shield Knight Lily and the others began gathering Elenora and others preparing them to leave the damaged church. Before they were about to leave The High Priestess looked at Iris and Dredgen

"Please both of you bring my friends back alive."

"We will Elenora." Iris assured.

Elenora could only smile at Iris's words she doesn't know if will be able to reach her colleagues in time but she will be praying for them both

With a nod from both Dredgen and Iris set up to reach the Nuns hoping there not too late for whatever diabolical plan the Kuroinu are planning to do with them.

The Mandalorian and Shield Knight processed to the south gate; as they were getting close there the air around them was getting covered in a foggy smoke from the fires spread out in the city from all the fighting that it's covering almost the entire street they can't even see what's in front of them

Iris covers her mouth with her hand trying no breath in the smoke

"I can barely see where we're going." She complained

"Stick close to me. Dredgen said leading the way " I'll get us there"

"Do you even see where you're going?" Iris asks

"Yes." Dredgen bluntly answers

Iris tilted her head she didn't find his answer convincing "How can-

Iris stops when she peeks over his shoulder to see his T-shape visor is glowing blue. She didn't say anything but can assume his glowing blue visor is letting him see through the smoke. She was amazed at how sophisticated his armor is.

Both soon arrived at the south gate, the air still covered in smoke, but before entering the Holy Temple, Dredgen suddenly stopped between the gate when he saw something. Iris nearly bumped into him when he did that

"Why did you stop? We need to reach the Nuns"

"Do you hear that?"

Iris paused at his question but she closed her eyes, concentrating. The Red-Haired Knight didn't hear anything at first but soon heard a group of high-pitched laughter of Imps and the sound of many women in distress, likely the nuns who were taken. She opens her eyes realizing they're close to but couldn't see through the smoke

"What do you see?"

"Nothing good."

Earlier: Alicia

"Hold the line!"

"Show no mercy!"

"Death to the dogs!"

The Shield Princess Alicia on top of the east castle wall of the Holy Temple swung her sword killing a Kuroinu merc. She then spun around, bisecting a demon imp that lunged at her. After killing them she quickly went to the ledge and looks down at her fighting forces Things aren't looking good. The 2 sudden giant explosions at the city walls from the morning took out many of her people. It caught everyone by surprise, shell-shocking them that the Kuroinu took advantage of on their first attack easily overwhelming the first defense and began causing havoc throughout the city

It happened so fast that she and many others didn't understand how the Kuroinu managed to do that without any of them noticing? Her Shield Knights have been putting up a good defense with aid of many citizens who volunteer to help defend their home however the Kuroinu has been relentless sending almost an endless wave of mercs and demons, that her people can't keep up the defense much longer

"Our forces are running thin!" Alicia shouted "Make haste and reinforce the defenses! Remain strong my people! Do not let any more breach our lines!

Alicia was overwhelmed when the Kuroinu began their invasion but she has to be strong for her city, for Primm. They must hold out! They have to!

Suddenly two of her lieutenants ran up to her. They had dire news to share with their Princess Knight.

"What how is that possible?!"

"We don't know, Princess Arcturus, but somehow they just did."

Alicia ran past them to see this for herself.

"W-Wait Lady Alicia!"

Alicia looked over the ledge and saw down in the courtyard demons: imps and orcs, with nuns tied to posts and being stripped naked by the tiny cretins. The very sight shocked and scared the blonde knight.

"No . . . please stop it."

"No!"

The nuns begged and wailed for the demons to show them mercy, but none would. The demons were eager to indulge their vices.

"Now, we're all eager to start defiling these pious sisters who devoted their lives to the goddess." Shouted an imp. This one was bigger than the others, standing just a few inches taller. He carried a longsword he stole off a knight and waved it around in the air.

"They keep begging me to fuck their brains out!" An imp shrieked in a nun's face. The nun turned her head away in fear and disgust.

"You..You bastards!. . how dare you!" Alicia shouted angrily.

"Oh? The Imp leader noticed Alicia You are the princess of this land are you not? Perfect! You have the best seat in the house to witness this! This wonderful show that's about to start!"

The imps cackled lecherously as they started fondling the women.

"You bastards! Don't you dare lay a hand on them. Violating those girls is something unforgivable!" Alicia said outraged.

The Imp Leader laughed. "Why would we listen to such an order? How boring! We came here to kill and fuck and that's exactly what we're going to do." The Imp Leader licked the navel of one girl, making her cringe in revulsion.

"You violate those girls and I will kill you!"

"Oh? Well if you feel that strongly, come over here and take their place!"

"What?!" Alicia reeled.

The imp gave a toothy grin. His cohorts were just snickering, knowing they had her attention. Even the stoic orcs watching couldn't help but smirk.

"Yeah. You don't want them hurt, then come with us and no one will."

"Lady Alicia no!" A nun pleaded. "Please just turn away from this scene!"

"She's right, leave us be, you have important fighting to do elsewhere!"

"Shut it bitch!" The Imp leader put the tip of his sword to a nun's throat.

The imp's cocks began to grow in anticipation. They were ready to violate the women.

"What will it be Princess, you or them? One way or the other, we're getting some pussy! Whether one or many! Hehehehe!"

The 2 lienetuents behind Alicia looked worried. They wondered what their leader would do. Would she sacrifice herself for the few? Or deny them and watch helplessly as innocents suffered. They knew Alicia for years. They knew she was honorable, courageous, and headstrong. But even they didn't know what the outcome would be for this situation.

Lady Alicia we can't save them. One pleaded We must keep defending our city"

The Shield Princess didn't hear Lientents plead her mind was shut she glared into the yellow eyes of the evil imp staring intensely. She is 1 of the 7 Shield Princess of Eosita, a proud Shield knight, trained by Claudia Levantine herself, and yet she could do nothing to help those poor girls. What kind of knight and princess would she be if she didn't stand up for her people?!

"Wait!" She shouted as the imps prepared to rape the nuns.

"Well?" The imp asked sinisterly.

"I will go—" Before she could agree to their terms her mouth shut down like a steel trap.

Why? She wondered. Why couldn't she—

This is war, Lady Alicia…Survival is your responsibility

A certain Bounty Hunter words echoed in her head

"My responsibility." Alicia mutters to herself

That pride of yours will also be your downfall. Vault and his Kuroinu will take advantage of that.

At the time those words from such a mechanical voice angered her, now they sent a shiver down her spine. Was he right? Her pride as a Shield Knight, a Shield Princess will be the downfall of her city, her, her people, and her Kingdom if she trades places to save the nuns it would mean she has surrendered to the Kuroiunu and everything has been for nothing.

These demons didn't care about anything good. They only cared about pain, war, and lust. How could she even reason with barbaric creatures? How could she afford to be anything less than what she believes in

"Sometimes you must put aside your pride for a moment if you wish to survive

"Well, Princess?" The Imp Leader asked impatiently. "What'll it be?

Her blonde bangs overshadowed her eyes. The words of the Mandalorian linger in her mind. She spent most of her life training with the most chivalrous woman in the country and 1 Bounty Hunter who follows a strange culture that lives for battle, is giving her doubts,of all people

Would she do the right thing and save the nuns or doom them to torment and rape to return to the fight?

"I . . . I refuse."

She felt sick in her stomach. She never thought she would do this but she has to ensure Feohs survival

Everyone seemed to quiet down. Her Litentuentent was surprised and relieved that Alicia didn't give in. The imps, however, seemed to have deflated. A second ago they were hyper and ready for rape, but after the princess' response, they looked stupefied.

"Uuh…" The Imp Leader wasn't sure. "W-What did you just say?"

"I refuse to give in." The second time was not easy for the princess.

They hadn't expected her to say no.

"You can't say "NO!" That's not how this works!"

"Well I just did." Alicia wracked up as much resolution as she could. She looked pityingly at the nuns. "I am sorry, I cannot save you but Feoh must survive. Your sacrifice will not be in vain. I will avenge you."

The head nun smiled assuringly. "It's okay, Princess. We understand."

The Imp Leader was beside himself. This was not what was supposed to happen! The blonde princess was supposed to easily throw herself away for the sake of others. Derreck their Field Commander specifically told them that the blonde princess was the dumbest of them all. They had a plan and even told to target the nuns, the most innocent, just to make it easier for her to surrender. Dereck did not tell them what to do if she denied them because . . . he didn't think she would!

Alicia was supposed to be the easiest of the Shields to manipulate. How did this backfire?!

"We'll rape them!" The imp shouted trying to get her to change her mind. "We'll rape them. They'll bare our spawn who we'll raise to rape and kill just like us."

Alicia clenched her fist gritting her teeth but maintaining her composure she gazed at the Imp Leader

"And just like you, I'll kill them as well."

Just as she said that she heard that her eyes widen when she and her 2 lieutenants saw one of the orcs got disintegrated into thin air

"What the?!"

The Imps in the courtyard were obviously shocked they were taken back at what just happened but before they could process it

*PING*

*PING*

2 more shots hit the other orcs vaporizing them as well

The Imps all that was left was shocked, confused they knew it wasn't the Shield Princess who did this. It didn't come from her; they would've seen the shooter and none of them have a rifle or anything! And if they did, it wouldn't be able to do that!

Alicia didn't understand what just happened but she and her lieutenants then spots a familiar armored figure holding a rifle of the sort coming out from the smoke down below approaching the imps

"Is that?"

"The Mandalorian?!"

"Dredgen!?" Alicia shouted

The Shield Princess was surprised to see him down there. Was he the one who killed the orcs? It has to be, he is the only one she knows who has a weapon capable of doing that but what is he doing there?

The Imps on the courtyard turn around when one of them sees the Mandalorian approaching them. He had his spearbolt in hand indicating to them that he was one who killed their 3 orc allies and ruined their fun

As he was slowly walking towards them nearly every Imps got chills at the sight of him, even the Nuns, he looked very menacing. It was just one man the imps have outnumbered they shouldn't be afraid but as he keeps getting closer they feel the dread in the air from him with each step he took

"S-Stop!" The Imp leader shouted making Dredgen stop in his tracks

The Imp Leader looking at this man he heard from the dumb human mercs allies saying a Mandalorian is in the city but didn't think he would be here! They said he'll be dealt with before the invasion!

The Imp Leader doesn't know what to do now this is the worst situation possible for them. All of his cohort's eyes on are the Mandalorian but he still has the upper hand in the situation he has the nuns at their mercy and this Bounty Hunter is all alone.

"I-I don't know where you came from but M-Make another step human or..or we'll kill these ladies if you try anything! Drop your weapon! The leader demand as he draws his small sword to a Nuns's neck making her squeal in fear

Dredgen didn't say a word he stood still like a statue as the other imps surrounds him but after a brief moment of silence The Mandalorian lifted up his spearbolt aiming at the Imp Leader with no hesitation

"W-What hell?! Didn't you hear what I said? We'll kill them!"

"Doubt it" Dredgen said "...but most of you will be dead before you even could lay a mark on them"

The Imp leader growled in frustration he didn't seem to care about them! "Willing to risk their lives? Are you really gonna gamble on that?"

"I'm not."

*PSSH* *PSSH*

Out of his vambraces were his Whistling Birds, a salvo of them went flying out targeting the imps hitting each of them. The loud whistling noise caught everyone off guard. The Nuns closed their eyes as they heard the imps let out a scream one by one

Alicia and her 2 lieutenants who witnessed the whole thing were in utter shock! In a blink of an eye all the imps fell down dead to the ground and the Mandalorian was all that was left standing. They didn't know what he did, it happened so fast only they saw a few sparks hitting the imps and heard the whistling noise of birds

When it was all quiet the nuns slowly open their eyes and are shocked to see all the Imps around them are all dead and they are unharmed. They were confused at what happened but when all of them looked up nearly all of them got a chill in their spines when they saw the Mandalorian approaching them

"Sister." Dredgen said as he cuts a Blond Nun binds off.

"Huh? "The Blond Nun blinked she was almost confused by his action but realized what he just did

"I-It's you." The Nun almost sounded in disbelief "T-Thank you for saving us but what are you doing here?"

"High Priestess Elenora sent me"

"Elenora!? Then is she and others?!"

"They're safe."

All of the Nun's faces looked relieved to hear that knowing that the others are safe but to think Elenora managed to send a Mandalorian to rescue them was almost like a godsend for them

Iris from behind came rushing out to them she was amazed at what she witnessed. She looks at the dead imps on the ground she couldn't believe he managed to do this on his own. From the look of it, he didn't even need her help at all!

"That..that was amazing Dredgen! "Iris in awe "I've never seen anyone do something like that before.

Dredgen didn't reply back he took a big risk doing that thankfully he had the right tools for it. Mainly because of the Whistling Birds when he fired a salvo of them at the imps he was also surprised at how efficient and deadly it was. When he knew when he saw all the Imps not knowing what to do when Alicia surprisingly didn't surrender to save the Nuns they lost the only advantage they have

"Help me with the others "The Mandalorian said

"Right."

Iris nods her and began helping cut the binds of the Nuns As she was helping Dredgen looks up where the Blond Knight is. Both stared at each other for a moment and Alicia couldn't believe what he did. He managed to save them all after she made the hard choice to leave them if she were down there she would never be able to pull something like that off but he did

"Lady Alicia," One of her lieutenants getting her attention "We should go down there"

Alicia snapped out of it

"R-Right we need to check up on them"

Alicia and her 2 lieutenants went down to the courtyard just as they got there rest of Iris's company arrived as well. They were helping the Nuns cover themselves with blankets and such

"Lady Alicia" Iris and her company saluted when the Shield Princess arrived.

"Are any of them hurt?" Alicia asks looking at the Nun

"Shaken but they're all okay"

Alicia felt relieved to hear that but felt a sense of shame and guilt toward herself for what she did.

"I'm sorry." Alicia lowers her head to the Nuns which surprised them.

"It's okay Lady Alicia" One of the Nuns assured them "We all understand what you had to do for Feoh sake.

The rest of the Nuns agreed non of them harbor any resentment towards Alicias for what she did. The Blond Knight somewhat felt a little better hearing that but still hates herself that she chose to sacrifice them leaving them to be playthings to the Kuroinu in order to keep on fighting for Feohs sake. She then looks at the Mandalorian who was also looking at her

"Thank you…for saving these nuns from the Kuroinu."

"Just doing my job" Dredgen said

Alicia slightly smiled she didn't know where he came from but was glad he did still why is here she wondered.

" What are you doing here? The Shield Princess asks "I thought you were killed during the first attack."

"I was looking for you"

"Me?"

"You were walking into a trap but it seems you were able to not fall into it."

Alicia paused for a moment before slightly blushing at what he said he sounded impressed but quickly shook her head realizing what he said

"Wait how did you know I was walking right into a trap?

Dredgen explained prior what happened before the explosion and the information he acquired and well the news obviously shocked her to the core

"Beastly!? He's the traitor!?"

"Yes," Dredgen nods "alongside a few Shield Knights and nobles as well who are helping him. The Prime Minister planned the explosions and likely perhaps Primm's kidnapping and maybe this one as well for you.

"B-But that doesn't make sense!" Alicia shouted in disbelief so where the others as well" Beastly has served Feoh, the Shield Kingdom for years. He knew my father, watched me and Primm grow up! Why would he betray everything to side with the Kuroinu?

Dredgen kinda knew the reason It was elementary for a man such as Beastly he saw the way he looked at Alicia

"He wanted you."

"Me?"

"The Kuroinu likely offered him a deal to let him have you to be his….Sex Slave once they've taken over Feoh properly letting him rule it how he sees fit

"N-No your lying" Alicia in denial "Beastly would never side with those dogs, he would never do that to me."

Dredgen was not surprised at Alicia's reaction that a person who was likely an uncle to her would betray her but the facts still remain he did

"I get that you finding it hard to believe me but I am telling you the truth, Lady Alicia

Alicia clenched her fist but tried to remain calm she has to be in this situation she can't let her emotions get the better of her. She doesn't necessarily believe him yet but thinks more of it how did the Kuroinu manage to destroy the East and south gate. There were guards there posted 24/7 and they would've seen or heard them firing artillery at them. She doesn't like it.

"If..If you are telling the truth about Beastly being the traitor that helped orchestrated this invasion..then we must make sure Feoh still stands for him to answer for his actions

"I am telling the truth"

The Blond Knight just stared at him she could only sigh at his words she has to take his word

"So what's the next move?" Dredgen asks

"Let me think"

The Shield Princess began to think on what to do next. As Alicia pondering in her thoughts planning on what her people should do Iris looks at the Mandalorian

"Why didn't you tell me about the Prime Minister's betrayal at the church?"

"Don't take it personally Iris." Dredgen said" I was being cautious.I didn't how many Shield Knights were in on the Prime Minsters betrayal after I got ambushed by some"

Iris felt somewhat hurt by that. It's almost like he didn't trust her at all even when she and Primm agreed to his idea of using citizens as conscripts and both helped trained them days before the invasions! But the Red-Haired Knight could probably understand his reasons why, if he had told her she'll likely think he's spouting nonsense and suspect him as a traitor

"What!?"

Just then they all heard Alicia shouting in shock when another of her lieutenants arrived with some dire news

"Are you certain it's him?" Alicia trying to confirm it with her lieutenants

"Yes, Lady Alicia. There's no doubt of it."

"What's happening?"

"The Kuroinus Feild Commander Derreck is in the city"

"Derreck Rondo?" Dredgen is surprised he's actually taking part in this invasion "He's here?"

"He's been spotted heading to the East gate of the Holy Temple"

Alicia clenched her fist this is bad Primm is in the Holy Temple safe but If Derreck manages to break through the defenses he'll have a straight path to her and god knows what unforgivable things he'll do if he catches her.

But this is also a chance the Shield Princesses know if they are able to take out the Kuroinus leadership the rest of Derrecks forces will crumble soon after. Alicia won't let him reach her cousin she has to stop him.

With a plan in mind, she looks at everyone

"Alright…we'll intercept Derreck before he can-"

*CRASH*

"What the?"!

Before Alicia could even finish talking, a cannon hit above them destroying parts of the Holy Temple wall. Everyone was surprised when it happened but didn't have time to react when they all saw shatters of debris falling down upon them

"Look out!"

All of them began to scatter away from the falling debris some barely managed to dodge it in time. When the dust was settled some were coughing from the dust that was created on impact

"Ack! Ack! Is everyone okay!?" Alicia shouted worried for the others

"We're okay Lady Alicia!" A group shouted

"Shaken but still here!"

Alicia lets out a sigh of relief that no one was killed but she looks at the damaged wall of the Holy Temple where the cannonball hit she then heard the sound of more cannons hitting throughout the city

"The Kuroinu are firing artillery in the city?! Has Derreck gone mad!?"

"Guessing this is supposed to make your forces who refuse after you were supposed to" Dredgen said wiping some dust off himself

Alicia couldn't believe the Kuroinu would do something they were insane! "With them barraging the city they'll kill hundreds!"

"I think that's the idea, Lady Alicia"

The Shield Princess doesn't like this the situation now has gotten complicated for her. If she doesn't stop Derreck he'll get Primm but on the other hand, if she doesn't stop the artillery barrage many of her people will die

What's more important to her? Her sweet cousin Primm or the people of Feoh.

"Lady Alicia," Dredgen getting her attention " I can deal with the artillery while you handle Derreck"

"What? I can't let you deal-"

"Lady Alicia". Dredgen interrupted in a stern tone "You can't be at 2 places at once. Let me handle the artillery

The Blond Knight stared at the Mandalorian; he's right Primm is gonna need her help she is no match against Derreck even if she knows how to defend herself a little. She must stop the Kuroinus Field Commander and she knows he won't be expecting her because he likely believes she has surrendered by now. An advantage she has against him

With a firm look on her face, the Shield Princess nods her head at Dredgen "Very well I am trusting you on this."

"Let it to me."

"Take Iris and her company with you." Alicia said "I won't let you go at them alone"

Dredgen looked at Iris and company none of them seem to hesitate of helping and were determined to come along. He admires the bravery of them all they all have a warrior's heart.

"I don't mind the help"

"Those cannons are likely on a hill," Iris said "and will spot us easily before we can even reach them

"I can get there quicker on my own," Dredgen said "Once I've dealt with the cannons you swoop in and aid me to deal with Kuroinu who sticks around"

The Shield Knights looked at the Mandalorian he sounded very sure about that "How can you get there without being spotted?"

Rather than explaining it, Dredgen used his jetpack to get on top of the inner walls of the Holy Temple. The Mandalorian looks down at the ledge and see Alicia, Iris, their company, and Nuns were just dumbfounded or awed to see him flying up there. He was amused by it but now not the time he's got a job to do.

"I'll see you once I've cleared them out "

All of them watched the Mandalorian runs off the wall and went flying away toward the cannons flying a smoke trailing behind. The group just stood there in silence

Well… you all know what to do. Alicia said in a commanding tone. If both parties succeed then victory will be ours.

"We won't let you down Lady Alicia!" Iris and her company saluted her and process to head to the Kuroinu artillery

When Iris and her company left Alicia looked at the direction where Dredgen flew off to. She felt surprisingly worried for him which was strange for her to be worried for someone of his caliber. It wasn't like her to be like towards a man but with Dredgen something about him that she couldn't help it. The BLond Knight placed a hand near her chest

"Be careful Mandaloiran."

Southeast outside of Feoh is a small brigade of Kuroinu mercs manning cannons on top of a ridge overseeing the battle. They all got a good view up there seeing the city in flames.

A group of mercs was laughing at the destruction

"Ha! Those Shield Knights are likely to surrender now otherwise their precise city will be destroyed!"

"Still wish we were down. We could've been joining in the fun with others"

"Yeah but we got the easy job if Derrecks's insider plan went on through this city will be to the Kuroinu in hours and we can enjoy all the pussy of many hot Shield Knights and nobles we want. And those idiots we'll never reach us up here we got the high ground!

Just as the merc said that a strange rock landed between the group and it was blinking red

"Huh?"

*Boom!*

A small explosion erupts between the mercs killing them and surprising every Kuroinu at the post but before they could even react a few more small explosions happened taking out more mercs and destroying some equipment and supplies they have.

A merc who was near one of the blasts ducks his head but as he looks up he couldn't believe it. Standing above him is the Mandalorian

"What the fuc- GRAh!" *BANG*

The merc felt a powerful smack across his face before getting shot in the heart by his flintlock.

In midst of confusion Dredgen right away aimed his flintlock at the others who were still unaware what's happening and began repeatedly firing, killing off multiple Kuroinu. He fired a shot at a hanging lantern causing the flames to scatter landing on a black powder barrel and causing an explosion taking out and knocking a few mercs in the blast. He then aims with his vambraces and fired a projectile blade hitting one in the throat and with the same vambraces, he fires a gun that is built into his armor killing another

"The hell!? Mando?! Where the fuck did he come from?!"

"Doesn't matter! Kill him!"

Few of the Kuroinu finally realize that they were being attacked and charged at him with weapons drawn. As one got close Dredgen pistol-whipped the merc in the face, knocking him down. He then punches one in the throat with his retractable knuckle blade killing him

The Mandalorian quickly disarms another merc just by smacking the weapon out of his hands he then grabs a merc and wraps his arm around the neck before firing another shot at another Kuroinu with his vambrace. Dredgen then jabs his knuckle blade straight into the merc's chest who he was holding killing him.

Dredgen then sees another group of Kuroinu approaching him before they could even reach him the Mandalorian slams foot on a rock and out from his armored knee pad a pair of 2 darts killing 2 mercs. The rest of the Kruoinu looks at the bodies of their fallen comrades for a moment and were smart enough that they don't stand a chance and began to retreat away.

Dredgen watches the rest of them scatter away as he the did the merc he pistol-whipped in the face slowly earlier managed to stand in up but just another he got up the merc was instantly shot by the Mandalorian who wasn't even looking at him

After finishing off the last one Dredgen reloads his guns and hostlers it. He didn't bother chasing after the Kuroinu that ran but he knows they'll back likely with more backup but at least he stopped them from firing cannons at Feoh for the time being.

The Mandalorian began looking around this post to see what the Kuroinu left behind there were a few tents set up. Guess they were stationed here during the siege he thought. Dredgen enters one of the tents and upon entering he was hit by a disgusting stench that almost made him gag. The smell of booze and among various things he expected from a Kuroinu tent. Cleanses is not one of their strong suits.

Dredgen quickly endures it, he examines inside and there was no one inside just a few makeshift beds where the Kuroinu slept and various empty bottles scattered about on the ground

The Mandalorian noticed on the makeshift beds were many unconscious naked females. Instantly he knew what the Kuroinu merc was using them for. Dredgen sighs at this those Dishourable Dogs are nothing but bandits doing this.

Dredgen examines a lady who was the closest to him. Upon closer inspection, he was surprised he recognized this lady. It's one of Primms' escorts, looking more inside the tent he sees more of them here. So this is what happened to the females of Primm's escort. He felt daunted by this this is pretty much a fate worst than death for them.

The Mandalorian looks back lady her eyes were hollow, lifeless for being used as a Sex Slave to multiple dogs she and every lady here are probably unaware of what has happened. There's nothing he can do for them now but Iris would know what to do once she and her company get here.

The Bounty Hunter exits the tent and proceed to head to the cannons the Kuroinu were using. He spots the rows of cannons near the end of the ridge but noticed some of the cannons they have aren't ones he expected them to have. The cannons that caught his eye were coated in a shiny silver color with a gold accent to them. Not the type the Kuroinu would use.

Dredgen went up to one getting a closer look and he found a logo that shocked him. It had the Shield Kingdom logo on them. The Kuroinu were using the Shield Knights' own cannons against them! He didn't understand how they managed to get these and so many of them too! He remembers destroying most of the equipment and ammo they newly acquired at the Black Cidital.

Someone supplied the Kuroinu that has to be there's no way Vault's army could've acquired so many of these cannons without anyone noticing without some help. He doesn't like this, but now is not the time to worry about that.

The Bounty Hunter steps away from the cannon he needs to inform Alicia about this.

"Ahhhh!"

From behind Dredgen heard a battlecry and felt a slash hitting his jetpack he quickly turns around and was met with a barrage of swings at him by a sneaky bastard he was struck in the chest, and head but his Beskar armor protected him. The Mandalorian was quick to react and used his vambraces to block the incoming swings as he was pushed back. After blocking another strike he rolled out the way getting behind his attack and some distances.

Dredgen looks at his attacker and he is not surprised who it is.

"Hello there…Greggory." Dredgen politely greeted the Shield Knight who has his sword in hand.

"It's Sir Greggory peasant! But I'm surprised you are here I thought my lackeys had killed you already."

"They weren't not much of a challenge" Dredgen said

The pompous Shield Knight angrily twitched at his words. He can't believe 4 of his lackeys were incompetent to kill 1 man! They had 1 simple job to do!

"I already know that you and a few others sided with the Prime Minister," Dredgen said " To help betray the Shield Kingdom for the Kuroinu"

Greggory twitched again did his lackeys told this peasant!? "Grr…who talked?! Was it William, Sam?!"

"Doesn't matter now…they know I'm a lot more scarier than you are."

The Shield Knight growled in frustration he can't believe his lackeys were more scared of this low life than him! Greggory thought he would have an easy task overseeing these Dogs while they did all the work but when this Mandalorian who just appeared out of nowhere killing most of the Kuroinu at this post ruined everything!

"I suggest you surrender " Dredgen advise

Greggory stared at him before making a laugh at his warning " Ha…You really think I would surrender to a low-born like you?"

"No…but thought I should give you the option to."

Greggory snapped his tongue in annoyance "Tsk..You think you're all great because you're a Mandalorian who the Shield Kingdom hired. You are nothing beneath me just a peasant who doesn't even deserve to be near a noble like me!"

"And yet this 'peasant' was the bodyguard of Primm Floire." Dredgen said back in a amusing way

Hearing the SHield Princess's name almost made the Traitor Shield Knight snap. The insolence of this man! Greggory is almost glad that his lackeys failed so he can have the pleasure of killing the Mandalorian himself!

"You may have killed many of these Dogs here but with me, I won't be so easy like them. A savage like won't be able to beat me. Once I kill you Primm will be all mine to enjoy!"

The Mandalorian didn't say anything he coldly stared at him but the word Greggory just said the one he hates when people especially the nobility types call him that. Well…he's done it now

"Is that so?" Dredgen asks

"That's right!" Greggory shouted

The Bounty Hunter smiled underneath his helmet before chuckling at his words "Hmph…Care to prove it?"

Dredgen opens his arms to Greggory with no weapon in hand telling him to 'come get me then'

Greggory was surprised by this. Is he really gonna fight him unarmed? Such aggroances! This peasant really thinks he can beat him without a weapon!? However, this savage idiot is a fool for doing so he only made it more easier for him to kill him

The Traitor Shield Knight gipped tight on his sword and charged at the Mandalorian. Dredgen gets ready for it.

Greggory rapidly swung his swords Dredgen dodgers or blocks with his vambraces from each strike he was fast he'll admit but Alicia and Iris are more faster than him and way better fighters.

"Haha! Not so confident now are you Mandalorian! Greggory taunted "Are you all talk now since you don't have a - *PUNCH*

Before he could even finish Dredgen punched him the Sheild Knight right in the face hard knocking him back which surprised Greggory.

The Mandalorian watches as The Traitor Shield Knight stood in silence probably shocked before touching his face and feeling the blood dripping out from his nose. he couldn't believe this he got punched by a peasant. Dredgen can almost sense Greggory's anger bubbling inside him. It was rather amusing to see

"Grrr you bastard!"

Greggory snapped and angrily charged at the Bounty Hunter raising his sword with both hands. He swung down but Dredgen caught his wrist with both hands stopping his swing. Greggory gritting his teeth pushing with all his might

"I'm gonna kill you! I'm gonna end your pathetic- OOF!"

Before the Traitor could even finish the Mandalorian kneed him in the gut causing Greggory to lose his momentum against him

Dredgen then grips tight on his wrist causing the Traitor Shield Knight to let go of his sword, he twisted his arm moving it behind his back. The Mandalorian then slams his elbow down breaking Greggoys right arm

"GRAHHHH!"

Greggory screamed in agony before feeling a kick to the stomach knocking him to the ground.

With his face on the dirt the Shield Knight groaned in pain and breathed heavily. How can this be he thought?! This is impossible! There's no way he would ever lose to a peasant in a fight who doesn't even have a weapon in hand!

Gritting his teeth from the pain he slowly manages to get up he looks at his broken arm he can't fight with just one arm! Greggory then looks at the Mandalorian coldly staring at him. He got a chill to his spine from his gaze it was almost like a predator staring down at its prey. Is this fear he's feeling? From a peasant!? That can't be right it should be the other way around! He's noble!

The Traitor Shield Knight can't accept this! He refuses to believe a savage like him can beat him without a weapon!

"Dredgen!"

"Lady Iris?"

Both of them heard a familiar voice they turned their heads to Iris and company finally arriving at the artillery post and they see the Bounty Hunter and an injured Shield Knight

"What is going on here?" Iris asks trying to assess the situation

Greggory snaps his tongue in annoyance did he bring backup as well!? This is bad for him but soon realizes this gave him an opportunity to turn it around for himself that he made an evil grin on his face

"Iris help!" Greggory shouted "This Bounty Hunter was aiding the Kuroinu here! I saw him using the cannons to attack the city and he tried to kill me!

"What?" Iris and her company was bewildered at what Greggory said

Dredgen blankly stared at the wounded Traitor Shield Knight like Are you serious? Is he really gonna resort to that kind of tactic? He sees the smug look on this asshole's face which annoyed him a little.

"I..I was taken prisoner by the Kuroinu" Greggory explain while trying to look like the victim "…b-but I managed to break out and saw this savage helping these dogs here and had to stop him!"

Iris and her company paused at what they heard they all looked at the Mandalorian who was also looking at them.

"W-what are you waiting for Iris?!" Greggory shouted noticing she and her company isn't even doing anything. "Order your knights to kill this savage! He's the enemy here!"

Iris and company didn't comply they just stood there which only made Greggory more agitated

"No use lying." Dredgen said to the Traitor. "They already know you're one of the traitors who are helping the Kuroinu."

The Traitor twitched "Grrr are you really believing this peasant's words over me, Iris!?

Iris didn't say anything she remained firm. After what she has seen what Dredgen has been doing so far she knows who to trust more.

Greggory stood in utter silence this can't be happening can it? Iris isn't gonna anything!? They're siding with that savage!? The Prime Minister planned this whole thing, the promise of Primm being his woman, having the power he rightfully deserves to live like a king, and he's gonna lose all of it!? He just snapped

"Nonono….God damnit!" Greggory shouted " Why is this happening to me!? Me!? I am Gregory Weaver! A Noble! I don't dervese this!

Everyone watched Greggory going on about how this isn't supposed to happen saying he deserves better because he's a noble. Frankly, he lost it the way he was acting was more of a childish tantrum and was only embarrassing himself.

Iris and company were almost disgusted by Greggory's behavior in no way a Shield Knight should act that way. She lets out a sigh

"Apprehend- *Bang!*

Right away Iris orders some of her Shield Knights to man the cannons while she, Dredgen alongside some others prepare to defend them from the Kuroinu who will likely come to stop them. Dredgen, Iris, and some of her knights stood ready. The Mandalorian has his spearbolt in hand to provide some overwatch while Iris and her knights draw out there swords

"Focus on firing at the Kuroinu!" Iris order We'll keep you covered.

Her comrades nods their heads and began loading in the first shot. They took aim at the Kuronu outside east of Feoh and fired taking out a large number of them with each shot.

Iris's Knights fired cannon after cannon at the Kurionu. As soon as one was fired they immediately began to reload the cannons and fire again in a matter of seconds. They were well-coordinated and fast almost acting like a machine

Not too long after they began firing at the Derrecks reinforcements. The Kuroinu who was stationed at that artillery post that retreated came back with some back up more mercs and some little imps and goblins among them. They were not expecting Shield Knights to be there

"What the!? SHield Knights how the hell did they get here?!"

"Doesn't matter! THey're using our cannons against us!"

The Kuroinu charged at them as Dredgen, Iris and her Knights got ready for a fight. When they got close it was an open battle the sound of weapons clanging against one another. The mercs and demons had the numbers against them however they have the skills to be a challenge for the Dogs

Iris was too fast for the untrained mercs and demons to keep up. One by one she elegantly kills them with agility and speed. She and her comrades were putting up good defenses they weren't letting one Dog get past them however there were still many that keep coming.

As soon he fired a shot Dredgen quickly puts a new bolt in this is not the first time where he has to take out many targets in a rapid speed with his spearbolt.

Soon his distinctive shooting caught the attention of a few of the Kuroinu and knew they had to take the Mandalorian out. 4 mercs came running at the Bounty Hunter

Dredgen saw this and fired a disrupter bolt into 1 merc in the front disintegrating him , 3 of his comrades were behind that one and kept running towards the Bounty Hunter determine to kill likely they knew he was a major threat or collect the bounty on his head.

They were fast runners with no time to block or reload his spearbolt the Mandalorian quickly swap to his pistol firing off 2 shots killing 2 of the mercs. However the third one was close and was about to swing his mace, but it seemed too heavy for him to lift. Noticing that Dredgen pistol smack down a merc's face getting him to stumble a bit he then aimed his gun at the mercs down head and fired a shot that instantly kill him.

Dredgen then fired at a few other mercs who was charging at Iris and her Knights taking out a few behind they could even get close to them. After getting some breathing room our Bounty Hunter swap back to his spearbolt and quickly reloads it. Right away he took aim and continue to fire

As this was going on Iris's company who was using the cannons remained calm and focused on firing at the Kruoinu east of Feoh taking out many of them. They won't those Dogs get into the city that easily!

"I've been requested to defend Feoh and repeal your Kuroinu forces by any means…so I'm giving you the opportunity to make things easier for all of us Derreck. Lay down your weapon, Tell your remaining forces to surrender now and I promise you won't die by my hands today.

Derreck froze for a bit this Bounty Hunter said the same thing he said to Alicia at the beginning of his siege. This Mandalorian was mocking him but the Field Commander find it amusing that this guy has the guts to do it in front of him he began laughing hysterically

Ha…hahaha!... You…You really think I'm stupid enough to surrender to you? Ha! You're gonna have to kill me, you bastard!

Dredgen stood there not moving an inch, he didn't seem disappointed at Derrecks's answer rather he was glad

Yeah?…Good.

Derreck was almost started at what he heard. Did the Bounty Hunter just say good? He's not gonna try more to convince him to surrender Shield Knights would've done that but he's forgetting one important factor he's not a Shield Knight he's a Mandalorian

Dredgen wanted to make this more interesting since Derreck is the one leading this whole invasion instead of just straight-up shooting him right where he's standing he'll give him a chance it's only sporting if he does. He holstered his gun which surprised the Field Commander if he intends to kill Derreck he'll do it as a warrior 1-on-1, the Mandalorian way. He pulled out his swords and readies his stance

Derreck was caught off guard by this so he intend to give him a fighting chance and not just shoot him, The Field Commander laughed a little dumb of him to do so but unlike some of his men, he'll respect and accepts the challenge like a warrior even he has some bit of dignity. He'll kill this Mandalorian and what better way to show it is in front of everyone to see one of 'the greatest warriors' can fail against the Kuroinu's wrath

"Nobody interferes. If anyone is gonna kill this Mandalorian it's gonna be me. The Field Commander said.

"Hope you are prepared Mando cause this is the fight will be your last"

Dredgen didn't say a word he firmly gripped his sword Derreck managed to defeat Alicia in a fight, he needs to be careful against him even though this is a 1 on 1 duel believing he'll fight fair is unlikely given he's a Kuroinu merc he's expecting the Field Commander will have some trick up his sleeves if things don't go his way

Both stood ready everyone was tense by this a Mandalorian facing off a Kuroinu Feild Commander it'll be interesting to see. The Mandalorian from what they can tell was calm, collected, and focus while Derreck he was also the same but he felt confident and certain.

In a brief moment of silence, both charges clash their blades against one another. Breaking away from each other Derreck went on the attack and slashes a few times,Dredgen blocks them as he did he noticed the Field Commanders' first attacks were just light, not serious as if he trying to get a feel on our Mandalorian's style

Derreck wasn't gonna slow down he twirled his sword and charged at Mandalorian again. Dredgen readies himself as he blocks and dodges the Feild Commanders' strikes. His swings were now strong and fast than before. He thrust his sword at the Mandalorian but it was a feint as he goes in for a punch to the head

Dredgen aware of backing away from his punch barely dodging it,he quickly retaliations by using his handle to bash Derreck across the face pushing him away.

The Bounty Hunter got his back turned away from him for a moment, with no hesitation he swings his sword at the Field Commander's neck but Derreck caught his wrist mid-swing stopping him. He elbows Dredgen in the chest, and his helmet knocks him back before doing a kick pushing him away further.

The Mandalorian catching his foot he was unfazed by it and quickly rushes back at the Field Commander.

Alicia watching the whole thing unfold was in awe at Dredgens display against Derreck he is able to withstand his skill and strength but both seem eventually matched.

After exchanging a few blows Derreck thrust his sword Dredgen blocks and counters by slashing across the Field Commander's sword. Derreck quickly reacted he backed his head away mere millimeters away from the blade before getting slashed.

He took a step back he was surprised by this, talk about a close shave. Derreck thought before noticing he managed to graze the Mandalorian left arm between his Beskar vambrace and pauldron. He's slighting bleeding but wasn't enough to be deterred by it.

Derreck smirked that he got a hit it until he felt something wet dripping down on his cheek the Field Commander checked it and to his surprise, it was blood his own blood. So this Bounty Hunter managed to get a cut in as well not bad he'll admit it's been a while since he got a mark on his face the last people who did it were Vault and Hicks.

"Careful Derreck you won't be able to collect the bounty on me if you're dead." Dredgen said as both continue to circle around from each

Derreck laughs "A lucky blow Mando but it won't happen again"

Dredgen doubts it Derreck is pretty good he'll admit….for a Kuroinu merc but still shouldn't let his guard down against him. He managed to a good cut in between his armor, the Field Commander is good with the sword and his brute strength is better than his but his overconfidence is making him easier to read

The Field Commander charges at him he raised his sword at the Mandalorian. Dredgen dodges it and counters by headbutting Derreck right in the face stunning and pushing him back.

The Field Commander was caught off guard by it. He then was startled when he felt the graze across his chest plate. Then again and again. Dredgen kept hitting him which in turn made Derreck grits his teeth in annoyance to get hit.

Both broke away from each and pushed their blade against one another

"You're much more skilled than the others." Dredgen said "but like them, you'll die just like the Dogs you are."

The Field Commander growled at his word "Grr, damn you Mando!"

Breaking away from each other Derreck is now getting annoyed at this Mandalorian. he's gonna show this idiot the mistake he did at the Black Citadel. The Field Commander raised his sword when he did it. Dredgen noticed his sword suddenly had orangely-red glowing runes appearing, embedded in the blade until he saw a spark of sort popping igniting it. His sword was covered in flames

(An Elemental sword) Dredgen said in his head. So that is the trick Derreck has up his sleeve. He's surprised the Kuroinu has someone who can actually use them without harming or killing themselves but then again this is one of Vault's Field Commanders.

Our Mandalorians need to be extra careful now against Derreck with that type of weapon now in his hands now it makes him more dangerous and deadly he can do more than just swing his blade at him

Derrecks twirls his sword a bit before letting out a grin of confidence and rushes at the Mandalorian. He rapidly swings his flaming sword Dredgen steps back dodging at a few he blocks with his sword and vambraces as he can feel the burning heat from his blade with each hit but not enough to deter him from it

If Derreck gonna is use fire against him might as well do the same after taking a big step back from one of the swings Dredgen flicked his wrist and used his flamethrower, however, the Field Commander didn't move when he saw the flames coming toward him he raised his weapon in front of him letting his flaming sword absorb the fire making the flames around his blade bigger.

Dredgen realized he just made it worst upon himself now "Well..shit."

"Ha! you've should've not done that Mando!" Derreck swung his magic sword flames fired out small projectile fireballs

Dredgen reacted by backing away from them but as he did the fireballs exploded in front of him. The blast knocked him away and onto the ground.

"Dredgen!" Alicia cries to see the Bounty Hunter groaning, limping, struggling to get up back up on his feet

The Field Commander and the Kuroinu began laughing to see the Mandalorian on the ground hurt

"Greatest Warriors of Eostia? Ha! What a joke! You should've joined us Mando when you had the chance. Derrick said as he approaches the fallen Bounty Hunter "But now you and your kind will fall by us"

He raised his sword ready to behead Dredgen right in front of everyone but the Mandalorian won't make it so easy for him.

In that very moment, Dredgen darted away from his swing barely dodging it. He quickly jabs his small knife into Derrecks's side between the small opening of his armor. The Field Commander groaned from it he slashes again but the Mandalorian ducked out of the way again jabbed his small knife to the other side of Derrecks abdomen and slashes the back of his knees getting him to stumble

The Mandalorian quickly got up backing away from the Feild Commander getting some distance between each other. He's still in the fight Dredgen managed to pick up his sword off the ground. Trying to regain his breath his head is still ringing from the blast, his Beskar armor managed to protect him from the force of it but it still hurt a lot.

Alicia watching was amazed that Dredgen was able to get back from the blast and what's more, he was able to get a good blow to Derreck. But She can clearly see how hurt he is even though he doesn't show it she noticed is his stance seemed slightly off but the Mandalorian isn't backing down

Derreck gritting his teeth at the pain the cut this Mando bastard did on his back knee hit a nerve making him struggle to stand. He turns around to him

"You're really starting to annoy me Mando." Derreck said

THe Mandalorian didn't say a word he knows he is and he's been getting a lot from the Kuroinu mercs. The Field Commander took his silence as an insult he only got lucky so far Derreck can win this and he sees how worn out the Mandalorian is just by the way he looks. With his flaming sword, he will kill the Bounty Hunter with another fireball or so he thought.

Just as he was about to use it again Derrecks eyes widen when he noticed the flames of his Elemental sword is dying, flicking a bit before it was completely gone rendering it back to it's normal blade

"W-What the?! Damn it not now!"

The Mandalorian can only just look at the Field Commander in seems Derreck fail to realize one of the downsides of using an Elemental sword apart from being very dangerous to wield is that when using the elemental runes there is a certain amount of time you have to use it before it runs out of mana rendering it back to a normal sword for a time being and it'll take hours, or days to use it again it depends on the quality of the runes. Safe to say he got a bad one so it seems

Guess he's not as smart then it seems but his confusion left him open for an attack. Dredgen not wanting to waste it,he charge right at the Field Commander but he was able to react and block his attack

Derreck growled at this " Grrr..E-Even with my Elemental sword out, I can still kill you Mando without it!

Dredgen didn't say anything but can tell Derrecks's stance is off he's not as fast as before. Knowing this he broke away from him. The Field Commander not wanting the Mandalorian to get away charged at him.

The Bounty Hunter readies his blade when Derreck swung down at him he parries it and counters by doing a spinning back elbow which hits the Field Commander in the head stunning him for a brief moment

Dredgen then processed to rapidly swings his sword at The Field Commanders' chest plate striking it a few times. Derrick feeling the graze across his chest was unfazed by it for a moment he knows his armor made of Durasteel can take a few beatings but not forever. With one heavy slash, Dredgen broke his armor

Derrecks eyes widen when his armor chest plate shattered into pieces slowly he then he felt the Mandalorian blade slashing across his chest

"Grahhh!"

The Field Commander lets out a gut-wrenching scream, he spun around dropping his sword. His scream made The Kuroinu and everyone else watching stunned by it

Derreck struggles to hold his stand he looks down at the cut on his chest blood is pouring down his body. He can't believe it is this really happening he thought did he really lost against the Mandalorian? Before he could even process the reality of it from the east gate of the Holy Temple where he was looking, more Kuroinu mercs arrived, and all of them were stunned to their Field Commander bleeding, his armor broken and he slowly stumbling towards them.

Dereck was almost relieved to his more of his men here they clearly outnumber the Mandalorian here and the other SHield KNights they can easily take them down!

"W-what what the hell..are you, idiots, waiting for? K-kill him this Mandaloiran!"

The mercs paused at their Field Commander's order is Derreck Rondo their leader really telling them to help him kill this Mandalorian it almost sounded like he begged them to. It was very off for them to see from him.

But before they could even do anything the Bounty Hunter did something the Kuroinu will remember. With 1 simple thrust of his sword, Dredgen impaled Derrecks's back his blade coming out through his chest. He twisted and grinned his weapon causing The Field Commander to scream in agony more, the mercs and demons even Alicia were shocked to see that.

The Mandalorian pulled out his sword and did 1 savage strike cutting the head off of Derreck Rondo in front of his men. His neck spewing out blood as his headless body fell to the ground

The Mercs and Demons took a step of fear, some even falling to the ground scared shitless even Alicia was frightened when he did it. Seeing their commander suddenly decapitated after seeing him in a pathetic and beaten state. Now his head rolling on the ground and the one who did it was The Mandalorian.

Dredgen looks at the remaining Kuroinu waiting to see what they are going to do now since their leader is no more. His cold gaze sent shivers to them that some were shaking uncontrollably however 2 mercs let their fear cloud their judgment of the situation and made a terrible call

2 mercs screamed the sound of terror and desperation in both. The reckless charged at the Mandalorian but when they got close Dredgen cut each of them down with 1 swing of his word

After witnessing 2 got cut down in an instant The Kuroinu those who were smart enough dropped their weapons and runs away from the Mandalorian but Dredgen knew they wouldn't get far and didn't bother chasing them with their leader dead now, and having no reinforcement it's over Claudia and her Knights will take care of the rest.

Alicia watches Dredgen who just sway the blood off his blade who was still on the ground in just utter shock at what she witnessed and couldn't believe that he the Mandalorian managed to defeat Dereck Rondo and, likely to send a message or strike fear to the Kuroinu or both cut his head off right in front of them. She was amazed at the Bounty Hunter's strength,skill, and tenacity

Dredgen then went over to the BLonde Knight "Lady Alicia. Are you alright?"

He offered her his hand

THe BLond Knight blinked for a second then collected herself

"I-I'm okay…T-Thank you. "

She took his hand and he pulled her pull up. Her 2 Lieutenants arrive to check on their leader Alicia assured them she is okay just asking them to bring something to cover herself which they did.

I'm assuming you and Iris did your part? Alicia asks

We have Dredgen's answer and Lady Claudia's forces have it under control

Claudia? She made it here? Alicia almost sounded in disbelief to hear that

"She has and has also brought reinforcement"

Alicia and her Lieutenants stood there for a second until all let a breath of relief at that news they did it they hold out long enough for reinforcement to arrive. The Blond Knight couldn't believe it herself

.

"That's good news but I…I you need to find Primm. She's in danger."

"Primm?"

Alicia nods her head "Yes, before you arrived Derreck had sent some of his men after her. She's in the east part of the temple

Without question, Dredgen nods his head "I'll find her."

Alicia smiled at his word it's not her to be like this but with Dredgen she can trust him I'll catch up as soon as my Lietnents and I deal with this traitor here

The Blond Knight motioned her head towards Beastly on the ground who is still out cold. Seeing the knocked-out Prime Minister something tells Dredgen that the Kuroinu didn't seem to hold their end of the deal and he wasn't all to happy with them. But enough about that

Dredgen enters the Holy Temple and quickly heads to Primm's location. Turning around the next corner he saw Primm's Bodyguard holding her own against a merc with her sword. Both pressing against one another

"Hehe..you got a nice body there lady. Can't wait to have a taste of that pussy." The merc said in a disgusting manner.

Primms bodyguard growled "As I'll ever let some Dirty Dog lay their hands on me!"

The merc only laughed but he felt someone tapping on his shoulder getting his attention when he turned around the last thing he saw was our Mandalorian before feeling a sharp slash across his throat.

The Merc fell down dead Primm's bodyguard was caught off by the Mandalorian's aid

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, Thank you, Bounty Hunter"

"Where is Primm?"

"She's in that room." Her Bodyguard pointed at a door behind him "Some of the Kuroinu managed to get in.

Without question, Dredgen quickly burst through the door making a loud slamming noise but when entered the room it was not what he expected. Just after setting foot in the room, he noticed 3 dead Kuroinu on the ground, and to his utter shock standing between them is the Pink Princess holding a bloody knife in her hand

….

"What?" Primm asks when the Bounty Hunter blankly stared at her

"Primm Florie knows how to use a knife."

Primm blushed at his word. "Well I was taught by a Mandalorian"

The Pink Princesses then demonstrate by doing a spin of her knife holding it right. Dredgen was really stunned by this for Primm to take down 3 mercs on her own with just a knife is pretty damn impressive even for him

Not too long Alicia came bursting into the room as well

"Primm! Are you- What the?"

The Blond Knight stopped when she saw the bloody corpses on the ground. She looked at her cousin holding a knife in hand. Did she really do this?

…

"I'm surprised just as you are." Dredgen said as he can what she was thinking

Primm laughed a little she can understand why both of them are shocked by this "They caught me by surprise but I managed to fend for myself, all thanks to Dredgen teachings

Alicia just stared at Prmm more until made a loud sigh it was dangerous for her to do so but in a way, she is proud that her cousin managed to defend herself without her

"I'm glad you are okay Primm."

"You too Alicia."

The Shield Princesses and Mandalorian stood for a moment until one of Alicia Lietantants arrived bearing good news with Derrecks's forces in disarray now Claudia's forces easily captured or defeated the Kuroinu left in the city. Hearing the news the 3 exits the Holy Temple and the first thing they see many Kuroinu mercs who have surrendered are rounded up by Claudia's forces. Beastly who is still knocked and has a few more bruises on his face and other noble traitors alongside traitorous Shield Knights who were caught tied up. They can hear Shield Knights, Guild members, and conscripts cheering around the city inciting that The Battlefront of Feoh is over and the victor is the Shield Kingdom

And Done sorry it's been so long but wanted this chapter to be long and filled with a lot of cool parts and been busy IRL stuff. Nearly 20k words longest chapter I've ever written.

The Battlefront of Feoh is over and the Shield Kingdom is the victorious nice! Beastly should've known better to make deals with a merc thug and Greggory got a good beating by our Mandalorian and both now are gonna pay the price for their treachery acts and the Kuroinu has only just tasted the wrath of Mandalore!
