Once they made it to his house, Podcast and Phoebe walked inside.
"Mom dad, I'm home, Podcast called out, And Phoebe's here to stay for the night."
There was no answer.
"Hey what's this?" Phoebe asked, indicating a sheet of paper on the living room table.
Podcast picked up the note and read it.
"P.
Your father and I are going to a retirement party for a co-worker at his company.
There's twenty dollars for and Phoebe to get a pizza.
We'll see you later tonight.

Love mom

"P?"
"My nickname.
So, should we just hang here and watch some movies, or come up with something new for the show?"
"The show," Phoebe and Podcast answered at once.

Meanwhile, at Summerville High School, students and chaperones began arriving for the dance, including Lucky and Trevor as the ectomoblile.
Trevor had just helped Lucky out of the car, when the two found themselves cornered by fellow classmates.
"Hey it's them!
The hottest couple at Summerville High!" shouted one student.
"Have you two come up with a nickname like Trecky?" asked another student.
"No way, my pick is Luvor," said another student.
Before either one of them could speak, several other classmates jumped in front of Lucky and Trevor and began to take selfies with them.
"Stop!
That's enough!" shouted Lucky, as she ran off.
Not sure if this was a part of a plan or not, Trevor chased after.

Trevor was able to catch up to Lucky, when he met her by the lockers, upon entering the school.
"What just happened out there?" Trevor asked.
"This is my plan.
As a way to make people believe we're not a couple, this is to keep everyone off our backs," Lucky replied.
"That's actually a pretty good idea, just give me a head's up though."
"Sorry, how about anytime I plan to have an outburst, I'll give you a wink."
"Works for me."
At that moment, several students, who cornered Trevor and Lucky outside, met with them by the lockers.
"Is everything OK?" said one student.
"Are you no longer Trecky?" asked another student.
"Are you no longer Luvor?" asked yet another student.
"Trevor?
Is there a problem?" a voice called out to him.
The teenage boy looked to see his mom and Gary standing among the kids.
At that moment, Trevor's face turned a shade of red.
The same shade of red as the painted leaves that were used as decoration for the dance.
"Everything's cool and under control," he answered back, sounding confident, trying to hide his embarassment.
"Well, as long as everything's OK pal, we'll meet you inside the gym," said Gary, as he lead Callie to the gym.
"You heard him people, we're good.
It was just a misunderstanding, let's enjoy the dance," said Lucky, as she lead Trevor to the gym.

Meanwhile, a few blocks away, Phoebe and Podcast were sitting in a booth at the local fast food diner Spinners.
Since the dance was happening at the high school that evening, with much of the teenage staff and regulars attending, the usual packed eatery was quiet.
At that moment, their server brought two trays of food and drinks.
"OK, a number one combo with lettuce, extra onions and ketchup, with a coke" said the server, who was a woman in her late 50's, placing a tray in front of Phoebe.
"Thank you," answered Phoebe.
"And a number two combo with cheese, extra pickles, mustard, and a rootbeer," said the server who placed a tray in front of Podcast.
"Thank you," answered Podcast, before the server left.
"So what do you have in mind for this episode?" Phoebe asked her friend.
After taking a huge bite and swallowing his cheeseburger and answered, "Well, I was thinking of checking out the abandon playhouse.
"The one that's been closed for years.
That has the broken in half marquee, and covered in spiderwebs, yet still lights up?" said Phoebe.
"That's the one," answered Podcast, who began to tell a story, "Nearly sixty years ago, the playhouse did a production of The Importance of Being Ernest.
It was during a performance, when a local actress named Nancy Kidman died on stage."
As she ate her fries one by one, Phoebe asked, "How did she died?"
"Rumor has it she was poisoned."
Phoebe's eyes widen hearing the quote and said, "Poison?"
"Yeah, one minute she was on stage acting, the next she just keen over, Podcast went on, And every year, on the anniversary on the night of the performance, despite the fact the playhouse has been shut down since that show, music can be heard coming from inside."
After taking a sip of her cola, Phoebe asked, "Are you telling me that even though the local playhouse closed decades ago, following the death of that actress, live music can still be heard from the inside of the venue?"
"Exactly."
"And you want us to go check the playhouse out?"
"You bet."
"I'm game for it."
"Great.
This is gonna make a great episode."
Podcast and Phoebe finished their meals and left for the abandon playhouse, to uncover the discovery.

Back at the dance, Trevor and Lucky went their own way after walking into the gym.
While Lucky was standing and chatting with her girlfriends, Trevor was hanging out with his buddies, telling them what's been going on.
"So let me get this straight, she's pretending to hate your guts to get the student body off your backs, yet she wants to show her old man you're a descent guy?" asked Christian.
"That's right," Trevor replied.
"No offense man, but this chick be crazy," added Max.
"Women, can't live with them, can't live without.
Am I right?" asked Sean with a laugh.
"Dude, saying stuff like that is the reason why you haven't had a girlfriend or date since...
Come to think of it, you've never had a girlfriend or date."
"So, what should I do?" Trevor asked.
"Treat her like a princess no make that a queen.
Give her all your undifided attention.
Make her feel special," Christian suggested.
"Do you really think that will work?" Trevor asked.
"Trust me.
I think I know a thing or two about girls."
"Is that the reason why you asked two girls to this dance last year, and you said you could handle them both, and it worked until they found out what you did, and Jamie dumped a thing of dip on your head, and Kelsy poured punch down your pants?" said Sean.
"Dude, shut up."
"Well, I'm going to try and make an effort into showing Lucky that I am a gentleman," said Trevor, as he got a few cups of drinks from the snack table, before he made his way to Lucky and said, "Hey, hope you don't mind, but I got us something to drink."
"Aww Lucky, isn't that sweet of Trevor to do that for you," said one of Lucky's friends named Nia.
"I wish I had a guy like him," said another friend named Josie.
"Thanks Trevor," said Lucky, as she took the cup from him.
Trevor turned to his buddies with a big smile on his face.
However, all that change when after when Lucky spat her drink out, then splashed the rest onto Trevor's face as she yelled, "This is orange!
My favorite is lemon-lime!"
"Really Trevor, you should know what are Lucky's favorites are," said Nia in a low tone.
"I take back what I said," added Josie.
Feeling defeated and soaked faced, Trevor headed back to his buddies.
"I guess it didn't go over as well as you thought," said Sean.
"Dude, shut up," Trevor grumbled.
