After getting lost in Pizza Planet, stuck in a rotten neighbor kid's house, and chasing a moving truck, Woody and Buzz finally made it back to Andy and all of their friends.

Soon enough, they were in their new house and in Andy's new bedroom. Andy didn't want to be separated from his two favorite toys, so he played with them the whole time they were unpacking.

"Come on Buzz, we've got to move this box to Jupiter Flatts!" Andy said in Woody's voice, then switched to Buzz's voice. "Yes Woody, we must get it there before those space bandits, do!"

Andy put Woody and Buzz on the box and made zooming sounds while carrying it to his mom's new bedroom.

Eventually, it was dinner time. Andy's mom had ordered out for some food and called him and Molly down to dinner.

"Okay guys, I'll be back soon." Andy said to Woody and Buzz as he placed them on his bed. "I've got to go eat dinner."

As soon as Andy left, the toys in the moving box came out to catch up with the duo.

"Woody! Oh thank goodness you are okay!" Bo ran up to Woody and started kissing his cheeks. "I was so worried!"

"Buzz!" Slinky, Rex, Hamm and Potato Head ran up to Buzz.

"Great to see you, too!" Buzz chuckled.

"What happened to you?" Slinky asked. "We thought Woody broke your arm off."

"Yeah, and how did you get here before us?" Bo added.

"Alright everyone, time for a staff meeting!" Woody said. "We'll explain everything."

The toys gathered up, ready to hear what Woody had to say about this.

"Testing, testing, is this thing on?" Woody spoke into the microphone.

"Yes, it's on!" The toys shouted.

"Okay now, I would like to welcome all of us into our new humble abode." Woody started speaking. "I gotta say, Andy's mom really made a great choice."

"Yeah, now that Molly has her own bedroom, I don't have to be thrown into some crib and get drooled on all the time." Potato Head deadpanned.

"You may also be wondering how me and Woody managed to get here before you guys." Buzz added. "Well, it all started after I got knocked out the window..."

One lengthy and hilarious exposition later, Woody and Buzz managed to bring everyone up to speed on what had happened in the past two days.

"...so there we were, falling through the sky with style, we landed into Andy's box and that's when we come to now." They finished.

"Sounds like a pretty great idea for a movie." Hamm remarked.

"You lost your marbles? Who would wanna watch a movie about a couple of action figures trying to get back home?" Potato Head retorted.

"Stranger things have happened." Hamm shrugged.

"So Buzz, you know that you're not a real space ranger?" Slinky asked him.

"Yeah, but it doesn't matter." Buzz nodded. "Besides, I think being a toy will be a my greatest mission ever!"

"That's right, Buzz." Woody said. "It's been my greatest mission, too. I'm sorry I was a bit jealous, I just didn't want to be replaced, that's all."

"I didn't mean to make you feel replaced, Woody." Buzz said.

"I know." Woody nodded. "But still, I feel really bad."

"It's all in the past, cowboy." Buzz assured him. "What matters now, is that we think about what we have now."

"You know, since we're all making confessions here, there's something I have to tell you guys, as well." Potato Head said.

"Potato Head, I told you, all is forgiven." Woody said.

"Not that, Woody." Potato Head clarified. "What I meant to say was that, well, I know what it's like to feel replaced and envious of a new toy."

"What do you mean?" asked Buzz.

"Well, I used to be Andy's favorite toy and I didn't want anyone taking my place, so when Andy got Woody, I felt left out and forgotten." Potato Head confessed. "Woody always being the hero and our leader always got on my nerves, so I became a little bitter towards him. Therefore, when Buzz came along and became Andy's new favorite toy, I figured that Woody would know how it felt."

"That's right, I did." Woody nodded. "But that doesn't matter anymore. I accept that now."

"Woody's right, Potato Head." Bo nodded. "What truly matters is to always be there for Andy, right?"

"Yeah, I guess so." Potato Head nodded. "The reason I thought Woody knocked Buzz out the window on purpose is because I thought the jealousy went to his head. Even I couldn't do that to Woody when he replaced him."

"I was just trying to have him fall behind the desk." Woody said. "I wouldn't want to get rid of him permanently. I just wanted to go to Pizza Planet."

"Well I'm just glad that you two are finally becoming friends." Bo smiled. "I know Andy was a little jealous when Molly came along, but now they are as close as family members can be."

"That's right!" Slinky nodded. "We are all family here in the playroom."

"And like I said, what matters is for us to always be here for Andy when he needs us, not how much we are played with."

Just then, the toys heard Andy coming upstairs.

"Everybody, Andy's coming!" Woody shouted to everyone. "Back in the box, quick!"

All the toys jumped back into the box and Woody and Buzz got back into position on the bed. Andy got inside and started to put on his pajamas. He got into bed and held both Buzz and Woody in his arms.

"I love you, Woody." Andy said to Woody and then turned to Buzz. "And I love you, Buzz. Just like I love all my toys."

As Andy fell asleep, Woody and Buzz smiled at each other.

"You know Buzz, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship." Woody whispered.

"For infinity and beyond." Buzz whispered back.
