Ace was almost finished setting up her computers when there was a knock on the door. She sighed and made her way over and looking through the peephole she had to roll her eyes seeing Tony on the other side. As she opened the door she was incredibly grateful that Bucky was not home at the moment.

"Tony." She greeted, and stepped aside so the egomaniac could step inside.

"Hey, Mini-me." He returned and looked around the apartment. "Not bad, isn't that where Dr. Reed Richards lives?" Tony asked, pointing out the window at the Baxter Building.

"It is indeed." Tony nodded, and looked around some more.

"Is this going to be enough space for you?"

"Why wouldn't it be?" She asked returning to her computers. Tony looked at her bemused.

"You're a tinker, Ace, and tinkers need space to build, literally."

"Oh . . .right." She hadn't considered that when she got the apartment, but she looked around now trying to imagine her random inventions filling it.

"I guess we'll find out won't we?" She finally said. Just then a flash of red flew by the window, distracting them.

"Must be Johnny Storm." Tony surmised. "He's about your age isn't he?"

"If I remember his file correctly, I think he's a little older, but yes generally about the same age." Ace replied. Finally finishing her computers and turned them on one by one.

"Good, maybe with someone you're age buzzing around you'll learn how to be social."

"What are you talking about?" Ace asked, working on getting the first computer set up for her needs.

"Social interaction outside of people you work with. Is that your prototype?" Ace shot a look over at the wall where her prized weapon was.

"Yes. While fighting . . .the Winter Soldier, my prototype got stuck in it's whip mode and I didn't want to risk harming any bystanders, so I'm retiring it."

"What are you going to use then for the next battle?" Ace bulked at the thought of another battle, but managed to hide it with a shrug.

"I might work more on my hand to hand, or maybe train with a bo staff like my dad." Tony nodded and sat at the computer next to her and leaned on his hand studying her.

"You don't like me prying into your personal life, do you?"

"I would have to have a personal life for you to pry into for me to dislike it." Ace answered honestly, and Tony smirked. He patted her shoulder then stood up.

"I'll let you get to work, just promise you won't get buried in your work." This time Ace had to fight back a smirk, thinking that for once she would have no problem keeping that promise.

"I promise." She answered.

After just a few minutes Bucky walked in and looked around, but seeing him Ace quickly held up a finger to her lips, signaling him to be quite as she walked around the apartment and then smiled and sighed, closing out of her handheld scanner.

"Sorry, Tony was just here and I was scanning for bugs."

"As in your friend who helped you get the apartment and gave you a job Tony?"

"Yep."

"Why would your friend bug the apartment?"

"Because he's nosey." Ace replied with a shrug. "How was your walk?"

"Refreshing." He answered and she smiled at him, then moved to touch him but pulled back unsure if the contact would be welcome.

"Hey, um . . .do you think you could teach me Russian?" He looked at her surprised. "It's just you know, if you only speak Russian around the manager, and door man then it might be helpful if I knew what you were saying."

"Sure, when should we start?"
