Perched atop a high branch she watched the distance. Something told her evil was coming. A sudden shiver traveled down her spine. Whatever it was it was coming fast. At the sound of rustling leaves, she glanced to her side. Then she saw them sprinkled among the branches.

Enemy ninja garbed in shadow. They were armed with simple katanas. Eyes glowing an inhuman gold they watched her. Jumping down she fled into the underbrush. From the corner of her eyes, she saw one giving chase.

Near the ground, a kick hit her side. Hitting the ground she watches her foe approach. Looking down at her they pulled off their mask. A mess of black hair was revealed its red tint almost glowing.

"Leo?" She whispered

"Who were you I expecting?" He asked

"Master said you died protecting the Crimson Morpher ." She said sadly

"Your beloved master lied to you." He chuckled

From behind his back, he pulled out a Morpher. Said Morpher was a mirror image of her own. The sigil on his coin was even a bold Z in place of her N. An evil aura radiated from the coin.

"Why, how could steal from the temple?" She asked

"Easy Master Shredder commander it." He replied

With a flick of his wrist, he morphed. His morphed form was bright crimson. His chest was marked with the Foot Clan insignia. On his back rested a katana ready to be drawn. His helmet was modeled after Shredder's with similar arm blades.

"So be it." She whispers

Flipping to her feet she morphed. As her feet hit the ground she drew her blade. In response, he rushed her drawing his blade. He laughed as their weapons clashed.

"As we speak my troops are raiding your temple. He said

She froze at his words her mind going blank. With a shove, she was sent to the ground. Standing over her he prepared the killing blow. Before he could strike a blast knocked him back. Turning to his attacker he found Drake. Drakkon's trooper readied for another blast.

"If you're smart you'll run." Drake snarled

Seeing no other choice Leo leaped into the trees. Pushing herself up she turned to her savior. Putting her sword away she smiled under her helmet. Her voice weak she turned to her temple.

"We need to get to the temple." She ordered

Back at the temple, Lilith fought the foot troopers. With each, she took down two more popped up. There was no way she could kill them all. Falling to one knee she prepared for death. Suddenly a familiar ax halted her nearest foe.

"Sorry finding her wasn't easy," Drake said

"I'm just glad you're both okay," Lilith said smiling

A bright glow appeared in their vision. Spinning to the temple the ninja froze. They had set her temple ablaze. With a cry of rage, she rushed to the nearest foot soldier. Mere steps from them the troopers fled. Falling to her knees the ninja let her morph fade. Crying she punched the ground.

"My home, it's all gone." She said holding back tears

Letting her morph fade Lilith knelt beside her. Cautiously Drake knelt at her other side. The duo gently embraced her. Slowly Lilith rose to smile at the Ninja.

"Come on you're coming with us." She said softly

"Akina." The ninja announced

"Welcome to our team Akina," Lilith replied

Arriving at the scene the rookie rangers blinked. Before them stood a pack of purple putties. The putties were covered in gross-looking tentacles. At the sound of a whistle, the group turned.

"So Zordon is still employing teenagers."

Behind stood a purple wizard clothed in black. A menacing aura radiated from him. Purple lightning crackled between his fingers. Stepping forward Alice glared at the wizard.

"Look creep just who are you," Alice asked

Two decades and you teenager still have no respect." The wizard snapped

"Talk you purple pest!" Keith snarled

"That's Ivan Ooze, but he was killed by Halley's Comet," Lily whispered

"The news of my demise was greatly exaggerated." Ivan quipped

Grinning Ivan flicked his wrist. With the flick lightning crackled from his fingertips. Thinking fast Lily summoned a mystic shield. The lightning reflected from the shield hitting a streetlight.

"It looks like you kids have learned some new tricks." Ivan joked

Anton appeared behind Ivan in a flash. Swiftly he stabbed his Drago Saber into his back. Ivan made no move to resist he only laughed. Reaching back he grabbed Anton by the arm. With a firm toss, he slammed him through a nearby wall.

"Nice try kid!" Ivan said

"Anton," Gale yelled

As the ninja rushed over to Anton he sat up. Waving his saber like a conductor's wand energy arrows appeared. As his morph faded the arrows hit Ivan.

"You're awful stubborn!" Growled

From his sleeve, a wand appeared. With a lazy wave, he knocked the arrows away. Smirking snapped catching the putty's attention. With a simple point, he sent the puttys on them.

Cradling Anton Gale watched the light in his eyes fade. His body going limp he fumbled to remove his Morpher. Slowly he placed it in her hands. Tears of sorrow and rage came to her eyes.

"Ooze, you'll pay for this!" Gale snarled

Stand she slapped the Drago Morpher on. Ivan simply watched her smirking. Her team gasped as she took his morphing pose. Letting out a slow breath she closed her eyes.

"Dino Thunder power up." She announced

In a flash, she was the Drago ranger. The suit now had a skirt and armor. The armor was that of her ninja form. Drago's sword resting on her hip she glared at Ivan. Laughing the wizard vanished in a puff of purple haze.

"Ooze get back here!" Gale yelled

Days laterGale stepped into the Drago Zord's hanger. As she entered the avian zord glanced at her. As if the zord was reading her mind its head dropped. Stepping up to the zord she hugged it.

"I miss him too." She whispered
