Don presses a button on his mask which untightens and he takes it off "it's hard to breathe in that like this" he touches his chest but immediately recoils from the pain *I wish I wore my regular outfit under this may have stopped the impact of the fire*. After waiting for a further 10 minutes Don had regained his composure and was able to concentrate enough to use his red aura to reduce the pain then he realises something he pats his side a couple of times he looks down and a wave of heat went down the back of his head he quickly looked around in a panic *shit where did I leave the bag*.
While panicking his red aura deactivates and is suddenly reminded about the 2nd-degree burns on his chest and back being brought down to 1 knee *damn I'm lucky endeavour didn't hit me harder or this damage could have been permanent* Don takes a deep breath, sits with his legs crossed and closes *I have to calm myself down I need to do what Tokoyami taught me I need to breath*. It took Don a minute but he finally calmed down taking his mind off the pain he has somewhat dampened the pain.
"Boss!" Shouted a voice from down further the sewer system Don gets up puts his mask back on and follows the voice leaning on the wall as he goes. It only takes him to get around 1 corner does he find the voice that it is Plashi and Jadori, Plashi is the first to spot Don alerting Jadori so they both rush over to Don both supporting Don for either side. Jadori looks Don up and down "what happened to you boss?" Don sighed Endeavour happened now we need to go back up the way I came down to find a bag" Plashi interrupts saying "we cant it's crawling with cops".
Don curses to himself "right I could have left it back at where I met up with my contact" Jadori and Plashi nod and wake their way to the nearest secluded manhole they can to the building and they all climb out finding themselves in between the buildings in an alleyway. "ok you 2 I can climb up here and make my way to the bag if it's up there you wait here I will come back" the 2 looks at each other worried "uh boss how are you getting up there you are pretty injured?" asked Jadori.
Don opens his face plate "there is no need to worry about that" Don closes the face plate presses the buttons on the gloves channels his red aura into his feet and proceeds to climb with difficulty up the wall of the 3-story building. Getting to the top Don is exhausted but still begins to search for the bag finding right where he left it *thank god* Don collects the bag and gets back down using the fire escape.
Don walks back to the pair with the full duffel bag "alright we need to get back to the base good thing you 2 aren't known to the public" Don takes his mask off stuffing it into the bag and taking out the same device he used to change his appearance *I hope this is programmed to work* he activates it and it gives don the same face as before. Don stood up straight and put his arms out to the side of him "how do I look?" Plashi face palms and Jadori says "it would be fine except for the massive holes in the shirt".
Don looks down and sighs looks back up and sees Jadori wearing a shirt, jacket and coat "Jadori can I borrow your jacket" "umm yea sure" Jadori removes his coat and jacket giving Don the jacket "ok let's get the train back we should be disguised enough" the others hesitate but nod in agreement. The group keep a low profile and make their way to the train station getting on the next train back, While on the train the group finds a part of the train that does not have a lot of people and decides to sit there.
Jadori and Plashi set Don down on the seat while they stand Infront of him, Don sighs setting his bag beside him "so now that we have some time to kill I want to ask you 2 something" the pair look curious "why did you join?" the 2 looks around Plashi whispering "is this really the place to do this?" Don shrugs "to be honest I should have asked sooner and since there is no one here might as well Jadori rubs the back of his head "well …".
Jadori's Origin
"It started 4 years ago" Jadori is sitting in his room playing his guitar making notes float around his room when a knock on his door is heard "come in" Jadori replied his mom Julia walks into the room with a letter with a big UA on the front and a warm smile on her face "it's here" Jadori excitedly got up from his chair and gets his letter from Julia and opens it with excitement, clears his throat and reads out loud in a proud voice "Dear Jadori we are impressed with your performance but we have…" Jadori stops reading out loud as his bright demeanour drops into a frown as he continues to read into himself.
*we have decided that your quirk is too dependent on a support item to be accepted we hope you have luck elsewhere* Julia looks concerned asking "what wrong what does it say" Jadori hands the letter back to his mom and lays face down on his bed on the verge of tears. Julia reads the letter and looks saddened but she shakes off the look "you know what will cheer you up a bit lets go get some ice cream".
Jadori sat up on his bed wiping the tears from his eye "alright" Julia walks to Jadori rubbing his back "it's going to be ok we will apply next year" she walks out leaving Jadori alone *I can't believe they declined just because I need an instrument to use my quirk*. "So for the year I learned to play 2 more instruments the harmonica, the violin and I attempted to learn to use my quirk through whistling but a couple of days before the practical exam".
Jadori is out in the shopping centre with his mom and dad getting some new strings for his guitar when a villain broke through the wall of the shop and shouts "Everybody on the ground and no one gets hurt" Jadori and his parents were hiding in the back of the shop complying while the villain was filling multiple duffel bags with expensive looking equipment. "everything was going to be fine if no one went to attack the villain while he was in the store".
A hero burst through the front door and exclaim "put all of the equipment back villain your coming with me" the villain grew into a larger bestial version of himself growing claws and looking more like a werewolf snarling at the hero. The hero shrugged and grinned "suit yourself" the hero carelessly used his quirk which was fire-based hitting the villain but causing the surrounding area to catch fire which spread pretty fast.
"the hero, however, didn't care as he kept fighting the villain without care for civilians" the hero and villain trashed the shop and using this distraction we tried to escape but during their fight caused the roof to collapse slightly near the front of the shop giving little options to leave. losing hope fast they tried to put out the fire around them they saw a piece of the roof be broken and revealed a firefighter crew to get us and the others still in the shop but as we moved a section of wall collapsed on my mother "I watched in horror as my mother became paralysed and my father getting 3rd-degree burns across his arms and legs, I have been hopping between groups but never fit in".
Don sat there looking up as Jadori was almost crying Don wanted to stand to hug him but he couldn't so he did the next best thing "so you join as payback against the reckless heroes that could cause these accidents" Jadori nods as Plashi hugs him "thank you for sharing that it must have been hard and I feel I understand you better but do you know the name of the person who caused it?" Jadori nods "his name is inferno" *I got a new person on the list* Plashi comforts Jadori leading him to sit beside Don.
Plashi speaks up after a few minutes of silence "since Jadori told us his past I should too".
Plashi's Origin
"My story starts a couple of years ago at my first job" Plashi was walking down a busy street with a backpack*I wonder if I should pick up some snacks * Plashi was snapped out of her thoughts by the shattering of multiple windows beside her, she gasped as 2 people tackled her and using her as a human shield. The person holding her had his hand turned into a sharp metal blade and pressed it to Plashi's neck "If you step any closer and she gets it!".
Inside the shop that had its windows shattered a woman wearing a bright pink and yellow striped sundress was walking out of the shop "now why would I stop you don't have the guts to kill someone" "I was very shocked that a hero would be so cavalier with a civilian life so I decided to get myself free" Plashi had the blade pressed the knife closer to her neck which set off her fight or flight response *I need to get out of this and the hero does not seem to be too worried about me I need to thicken my neck so I don't die*.
While the person held her hostage the other ran away and the hero seems to be showing off their bravado Plashi took her chance and started to morph into a gorilla breaking out of the body shield grabbing the man holding her and slamming into the ground knocking him out, The hero looked surprised but to save face so she arrested the man while Plashi morphed back into her human form. Plashi was breathing heavily returning into a loose-fitting bodysuit *that was… exciting* Plashi was then hounded by a couple of news teams.
Plashi was standing in front of Don balling her hand into a fist "the hero looked annoyed at this and arrested me for the unlawful use of my quirk which also got me fired from my job and made it very difficult to make any money and with no money, no jobs and no family near enough to help me I had to wander the streets eventually finding myself in a spiral going from shoplifting to getting roped into an illegal street fighting ring".
Don is slightly amazed but more so sympathetic to Plashi "A hero seemingly not caring about a civilian is a disgrace to the name of the hero". Don unsure asks "what was the name" Plashi wiped her tears away and said quietly "their name is Sunny" *person #2* Don and Jadori made space for Plashi to sit down which she did. Jadori comforted Plashi as Don attempted to but got a reminder of the burns on his chest and back.
After Plashi regained her composer she asked "so boss what happened to you" Don stands up and stretches "well it first started with my quirk assessment, I was told that I am quirkless which led to my parents resenting and abusing me, which pushed me to pursue vigilantism and I learned how to fight using a series of crappy gym equipment and cheap videos but mainly used my speed to outwit people, I met Stain who taught me how to fight better after that I met the LOV and joined."
Don explained this while not showing any emotion which weirded out the pair sitting down in front of him Jadori asks "do you feel sad when you say all this?" Don shrugs "yea but with my set of abilities I can't let them out or I will blow my cover." Don looked over his shoulder and saw that they were at their stop "alright let's go back to base" Don picks up his bag and walks out of the train with Plashi and Jadori following.
The trio manage to get back to the hideout with no trouble as they enter Don drops to his knees again holding his chest, Plashi and Jadori quickly pick Don up and bring him to the medical centre. The pair rush in and place him on a hospital bed although the doctor was nowhere to be found "we need to find the doctor you go left ill go right" both Plashi and Jadori run out of the room and leave in separate directions.
Don immediately activates his red aura around his chest and back and sits up on the bed *even with this to dull the pain it still stings, how hot are Endeavours flames and are Dabi's flames worse* while sitting there an idea strikes his mind, Don gets up and leaves using the wall as leverage walking towards hallway F. Don finds the room he is looking for and opens the door seeing Eri sitting in her bed but she gets up a bit seeing Don but notices his wounds.
She looks concerned but does not leave her bed, Don hobbles over to her bed sitting next to it facing the wall *This is either gonna kill me or I'm going to be fast enough* "remember when I said I can help you practise your power well that's happening a bit sooner than expected". Eri looks terrified realising what Don means "Eri I need you to use your quirk to heal me as soon as it's done I will speed away" Eri is shaking her head with some tears coming out of her eyes.
Don turns to Eri on his knees and gets Eri to look at him "Eri I believe in you and the only way to learn is to practise I know this is an extreme first lesson so I need you to trust in me as I trust in you" Eri wipes her tears but she is still not convinced *well I guess I'm lying to a child today* "look Eri the doctor can't fix this" Don shows the massive burn marks on his back "but I believe you can help me" Eri looks conflicted and her horn begins to flare up with yellow energy.
Don reached for Eri's hand but she flinched "Eri you need to direct the energy or it will go everywhere" Eri nodded and put her hand up towards Don and attempts to channel her quirk through her hand, Don encouraged her to focus on her power "take deep breaths, focus on your horn and channel it through your hand" *I will need to use a pressure point to knock her out safely if she can't control this thank god stain taught me some of them* Eri looks like she is trying hard to hold it back but eventually her quirk bursts out before she is ready hitting Don right on the chest.

Sorry, this took so long to come out I had some personal issues that have been sorted out so hopefully normal scheduled uploads.
So this chapter is mostly about the backstory of both Plashi and Jadori and a little fast track on Eri's quirk usage.
