Hey guys its me.
I began to write this story because I believed I wanted to retell the story of the anime in my own way by shoehorning in a character that I believed was a decent but not perfect addition to the cast; however what It also came from a perspective of trying to shoehorn myself into the story which is the real inspiration behind Jack's character. Now I see that this was a bad decision.
The more I wrote the more I realised I had grown too dependant on the original story and therefore my character seemed more of a hinderance to a carbon copy retelling of the XYZ anime which I recognise now does not need to be altered and therefore if I am to tell my story I need to do it my way, not by building on the foundation of something that already exists.
Ultimately the main message here is that I do want to continue telling Jack's story but not the way it is now as I find myself rather uninspired and unmotivated to write what I am currently working on as it does not feel like it is truly my own tale, hence this is me wrapping up Kalos journeys short in order to pursue a new story that focuses on solely OC characters and allows me to develop my own timeline within the Pokémon world.
Once again I am sorry to anyone who did consistently read this and I hope you will follow this new journey as it unfolds.
