John then said, "Our Ranks grow… but you never said the drones could combine." Karasuma looked at him and said, "We didn't make them like that, it must be part of the Alien technology." John nodded his head and said, "Yeah, Moonracer, Sideswipe, name's John Bertrand. My Drone is OPtimus Prime, wanna get in your human form so we can talk in human form?" Moonracer and Sideswipe nodded their heads and went to their charging stations before coming back in their human forms. John welcomed them to the team while Nagisa bro-hugged Tomohito. Meanwhile, Megatron punched his fist when Asano walked up to him and said, "Told you that was a bad idea." Magatron looked at Asano and said, "Quiet filth. You choose to become allies. So you are under my command so you don't question my orders." Asano bowed and said, "Yes, my lord."
John was in his drone on patrol in Kyoto with Toka in his cab. They have been spending more and more time together as they got to know each other. Karma, Nagisa, and Kayano all saw their leader falling for their friend and leader. All the while, they discovered two more pods, and out came the commandos of Topspin and Whirl. John welcomed the two bots and was told by Impactor of their combined form of Ruination, a combiner like Silverbolt and the Aerialbots. John smiled at a new Autobot Combiner team before Silverbolt said, "that just leaves Computron and Grimlock's team." John asked Silverbot who he was talking about, and that was when Ratchet chimed in and said, "Computron is a combiner of a group of Autobots called the Technobots. Grimlock leads a group called the Dinobots." That was when Karasuma noted, "The Dinobots wouldn't happen to be Mechanical versions of a Tyrannosaurus, a Triceratops, a Pteranodon, a Stegosaurus, and a Brontosaurus, would it?"
"Yes, actually, how did you know?" Silverbolt asked Karasuma, who showed him and John five dead Cybertronians. Karasuma said, "We found them after the battle in the Midwest. All but one of them had their spark chambers removed." Silverbolt walked along with his fallen friends and said, "So you were going to make them drones controlled by, I assume, Grimlock." Karasuma nodded and said, "Here is his operator." Soon a boy came out with a shaved head. Nagisa and Karma recognized him and said, "Taiga?!" Taiga Okajima smiled and said, "Hey, you two." John walked up to Okajima and said, "Pleasure working with you, Okajima." Okajima nodded his head and said, "Likewise, Commander. I've already been informed of your drone and the position you lead. The Dinobots are at your command." John smiled before an alarm went off and that was when Sone ran to Karasuma and said, "The Combaticons are back and attacking Seattle, Washington!"
"Karma, drone up. I need the drone pilots for Prowl, Inferno, and Windblade droned up now!" John said, giving commands to his team. John then looked at Okajima and said, "Drone up, you're coming too." Okajima nodded his head as he and John ran to their Drone control seats. Meanwhile, Onslaught was looking at the destruction he and his team were doing as Swindle walked up to him and said, "You sure this will get the Autobots' attention?" After he said that, a space bridge opened and Optimus rolled through it with the Autobots he picked and the Dinobots. Onslaught smiled and said, "Hun-Gurr, Rippersnapper, Blot, Sinnertwin, Cutthroat! Time to shine!" That was when five Cybertronians sporting Decepticon insignias came into view and the one called Hun-Gurr said, "Terrorcons! FORM ABOMINUS!" The Terrorcons jumped up and the ones called Sinnertwin and Cutthroat transformed into the Left and right legs. Hun-Gurr landed on them and became the Torso while Rippersnapper and Blot formed the left and right Arms.
"Autobots, Transform!" Shouted Optimus. They all transformed and Optimus saw Onslaught and said, "Onslaught. Thought we took care of you and your combaticons?" Onslaught chuckled and said, "That was before we joined the Decepticon cause." Optimus clenched his fist when Karasuma said, "Optimus, we just picked up three more Cybertronian signals entering the city. They're Autobots." That was when three Trains rolled past them and two slammed into Abominus and one into Onslaught. The one that slammed into Onslaught was a 500 Series Nozomi bullet train. The other two were a 700 Series Hikari Rail Star bullet train and an E4 Series "Max" bullet train. They then transformed, with the Autobot that was the 500 Series Nozomi bullet train, walked up to Optimus and said, "Team Bullet Train Reporting Optimus Prime sir! Name's Railspike, the other two are Rapid Run and Midnight Express."
"Welcome to the fight Railspike, I assume you can combine with them?" Optimus asked Railspike, who nodded his head and said, "Watch. All right team, bullet fusion mode!" Rapid Run and Midnight Express nodded their heads and they combined, with Midnight Express forming the legs, Rapid Run forming the torso, and Railspike forming the head and arms and their combined form said, "Triple Power, Rail Racer!" Optimus smiled at the new Combiner and said, "take on the Decepticon Combiner!" Rail Racer nodded his head and punched Abominus in his chest as Optimus led the other Autobots to battle the Combaticons. Soon Onslaught had the Combaticons combine into Bruticus while Optimus looked at Grimlock and said, "You know what to do!" Grimlock nodded his head and said, "Dinobots, FORM VOLCANICUS!" The Stegosaurus and Brontosaurus formed the legs, Grimlock jumped on them and formed the Head and Torso while the Triceratops and Pteranodon formed the arms.
Optimus looked at Prowl and Inferno before saying, "Go help the humans evacuate. Windblade, Ironhide and I will assist the combiners." Prowl and inferno nodded before going to assist the humans. Optimus then put on his mask and told Windblade, "Go to the sky and provide air cover." Windblade nodded, Transformed into her vehicle form and took off to assist them. That was when Prowl detected a Stasis pod signal and told Prime. Optimus nodded and replied, "Take Inferno and go look for it." Prowl nodded and led Inferno to the Stasis pod. Optimus and Ironhide got their weapons online and opened fire at the two Decepticon Combiners as Rail Racer and Volcaicus fought them with their fists. That was when Optimus got shot in his back.
Turning around, Optimus saw a Decepticon with a blaster running as he transformed into a Dodge Magnum emergency vehicle. Optimus ran and jumped up. Pulling out his blade, he stabbed the con through the roof and shut him down before setting eyes on Megatron. Reading his other blade, Optimus charged at Megatron and the two leaders duked it out. Meanwhile, Windblade was attacked by a Lockheed-Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet, decoed in a gunmetal-like gray and covered in non-human markings. Windblade dodged and fired a few rounds at the attacking Jet that she deduced was a Decepticon. She then placed a call to Karasuma.
"I got a bogey on my tail sir! Requesting backup!" Windblade said to him. Karasuma acknowledged Windblade and sent Silverbolt and his team to assist her. Soon the Aerialbots entered Seattle's airspace. Meanwhile, Prowl and Inferno got close to the stasis pod and saw two Decepticon Drones getting the Stasis pod out of the ground before they blasted the two cons. Prowl inspected the pod and saw that it had an Autobot symbol on it. Prowl smiled as Inferno said, "Another Autobot for our ranks." Inferno nodded his head before a space bridge opened under the pod and it fell through. Prowl growled and pounded the ground before Optimus came on the comms and said. "Prowl, Inferno. The Decepticons are retreating, report."
"We lost the pod Prime." Prowl said with Hatred in his voice. Optimus sighed and said, "Understood, return to our location." Prowl nodded and the two returned to the main autobots. Prime called for a groundbridge and they went through it. Back at the base, John was out of his drone and he punched the wall as Toka walked up to him and put a hand on his shoulder. John looked at her and hugged her closely. John then said, "Now they have another con to add to their ranks. Because if we could alter the pods for cons to make them Autobots, then they can do the same for Autobot pods." Toka rubbed his back to do her best to comfort him.
Meanwhile, A Decepticon named Deadlock walked to where the Autobot pod was and saw two drones guarding it. Deadlock walked forward and said, "Lord Megatron sent me, I'll take over guarding the pod." The Drones respected deadlock's word and walked off. Deadlock then pulled out a device and opened up a space bridge. After picking up the pod, he tore off his Decepticon insignia and walked through it before the portal closed. Megatron was walking with Onslaught and another con when the two drones came to him and one of them said, "Lord Megatron, deadlock is watching the pod as per your instructions." Megatron growled and said, "I never sent deadlock!" Onslaught ran to the room and checked it before saying, "Lord Megatron, Deadlock and the pod are both gone!"
"BRIDGE! LOCATE DEADLOCK IMMEDIATELY!" shouted Megatron. A drone came back and said, "Lord Megatron, Deadlock's signal is coming from the room the pod is in." Onslaught looked and noticed the insignia on the energon crate before showing it to Megatron. Megaton roared in anger at dedlock's betrayal. Back with the Autobots. John was sitting by his drone and looked up at it when alarms went off and Karasuma ran to him, saying. "A Decepticon is walking to the base!" John nodded his head and got into his drone's seat. Soon Optimus stepped out of the hanger and saw Deadlock standing there. Walking up to the con, Optimus looked into his optics and said, "What do you want?"
Deadlock pointed to his side and Optimus saw the Stasis pod as Deadlock said, "I wish to return this and request asylum in your ranks." Optimus looked the pod over and was reassured that it wasn't bobby trapped. Optimus then looked at Deadlock and asked, "So you wish to join the Autobots?" Deadlock nodded his head and said, "yes, I realize how much you care for humans. Megatron uses the humans he took as slaves. I wish to help the side fighting for the humans." That was when Silverbolt joined them and said, "Deadlock." The con nodded his head to Silverbolt and said, "Silverbolt."
"He wishes to join the autobots." Optimus said to Silverbolt. Silverbolt nodded his head and said, "Well he is a warrior of honor, even though he's a Decepticon, but I trust his good intentions." Optimus nodded and said, "understood, plus he took off his Decepticon insignia, am I correct?" Deadlock nodded his head and Optimus welcomed him to the Autobot cause. His mode was a cross between a Nissan Silvia S15 and a Mitsubishi FTO. he changed his color from Black to white with Japanese markings and took on the name Drift.
The stasis pod was opened and a Cybertronian came out of it. Silverbot smiled and said, "Landmine! You're alive!" the Cybertronian smiled and said, "Silverbolt! Good to see you as well my friend." Silverbolt then told Landmine about the team and the drones. John then asked Landmine if he would fight alongside them, and Landmine said, "You know it Prime." John smiled and brought in a yellow wheeled front loader with an articulated bucket shovel. Scanning it, Landmine transformed and tested it out.
"Oh yeah, I like this form!" Said Landmine. John smiled and said, "welcome to the team Landmine." Landmine transformed and said, "Good to be a part of it too." John smiled before Silverbolt said, "Scrap I just remembered something." When John asked what it was, Silverbolt said, "Ultra Magnus, he thinks he's the leader of the Autobots after Orion's death." John was shocked, as were the other Drone Pilots. Karasuma said, "Then how about you call him here so we can discuss who will be the leader." Silverbolt nodded and walked to the communication's systems. That was when Jazz said, "To be honest, I never did like following Magnus's orders." Ratchet and Hot spot nodded their heads as Jetfire walked up to them and said, "I also have seen that the boy who controls the drone called Optimus has the better intentions." That was when Nagisa came up to them in his drone and said, "So you guys want to follow John's orders?" The three bots nodded at the drone, and that made Nagisa happy to hear.
Later, a Car carrier rolled up to the base with a F1 Racer car, a white Nissan Patrol rescue SUV, a heavily modified blue Chrysler ME Four-Twelve sports car with a huge rear engine, and A dune Buggy. John, piloting his drone, stepped up to the five vehicles and said, "I am Optimus Prime." That was when all five of them transformed into robots with all autobot insignias on them. The autobot that was the car carrier said, "I am Ultra Magnus, this is Mirage, Red Alert, Excellion, and Sandstorm. I was told about you and the other drones." Optimus nodded his head and said, "Indeed. We fight in the bots used to make these drone's memories. I even had Orion Prime visit me in my drone and he has told me that he's honored to have me fighting as Prime."
"Well as of now you are no longer Prime." said Ultra Magnus. Optimus was shocked as Silverbolt walked up to him and said, "Magnus you honestly can't be saying that you are taking over. The other Drone Pilots will not…" but Magnus cut him off by saying, "As of now, the drone pilots are to cease their actions immediately and return the bodies of the autobots they used to make them." The Autobot, which was the white Nissan Patrol rescue SUV, walked up to Magnus and said, "that wasn't what we agreed on Magnus, we agreed to talk it out." but Magnus looked at him and said, "Red Alert these humans have violated our comrades, our commander. Don't you wish they stopped?" The bot that was the Dune buggy then said, "If Silverbolt and Hot Spot trust this human, then he has my support." Sandstorm then walked over to stand with Optimus.
"Sandstorm are you crazy?! This drone will get you killed!" Said the bot that was the heavily modified blue Chrysler ME Four-Twelve sports car with a huge rear engine. Sandstorm simply looked at him and said, "But our commander, Orion, spoke to him, Excellion. That's good enough for me." Then the Autobot that was the F1 Race car also joined Optimus's side, along with Red Alert. Magnus clenched his fist and said, "You would betray your commander?!" That was when Magnus swung at Optimus, but he dodged it and punched Mangus in the chest.
The other Drone pilots aimed their guns at them, but Ratchet and Hot spot got them to stand down, it was a battle Optimus alone had to win. Optimus walked over to Magnus, who grabbed his leg and pulled him down. He was about to pull the leg off when Optimus grabbed Magnus's head and tossed him off him and into a nearby field. Optimus slowly stood up and stepped onto the field when he got blasted in the back by Excellion. Sandstorm and Red Alert grabbed the young Bot and pinned him to the ground as Optimus stood back up before Magnus tried to tackle him, but ended up eating Optimus Prime's fist and slid backwards.
"I will offer you one chance to join and serve as one of my second-in-commands, Magnus." Optimus said to the downed warrior, offering to end the conflict. But Magnus said, "TREADSHOT! WINDRAZOR! FIRE!" Just then, two F-22 Raptor jets came flying and blasted Optimus to the ground. As he was about to get up, Magnus formed Prime to the ground as he said, "As of this moment, the Autobots are under my Comm…" but Magnus got shot in the arm by Silverbolt. Soon the other Autobots aimed their blasters at Ultra Magnus as Ratchet tended to Optimus with help from Red Alert. Silverbolt then said, "Magnus, you stooped too low. He was offering you a chance to surrender and you attacked him from behind with Treadshot and windrazor." Magnus stood up and said, "That pretender has you fooled Silverbolt. Excellion, we're leaving." Magnus then transformed back and rolled with Excellion following as Sandstorm shouted, "Magnus, Excellion! stop!"
"Let them go Sandstorm." Optimus said as Ratchet supported him. Elita-one ran out and said, "We have to go after them!" but Optimus stopped her by saying, "No Elita, they will be back, we will wait for them to come to us." Optimus then looked at Red Alert, Mirage, and Sandstorm before saying, "Thank you for seeing sense." then looking at the other Autobots, Optimus also thanked them for standing up for him and the other drone pilots. The Autobots nodded and they all walked into the base. Back with Magnus and Excellion, Excellion punched a wall and said, "Those idiots! You are the true leader of the Autobots, not that Human!" Magnus sat down and said, "I know Excellion, which is why I have a plan to get them back."
Later, Optimus was on patrol when he got a call from Karasuma saying that Excellion was seen kidnapping two humans. Optimus acknowledged Karasuma and was given a space bridge to the location. Optimus rolled through and saw Excellion facing him before rolling off and Optmius caught up to him. Optimus demanded to know where the two humans were and Excellion said, "You'll see fake Prime." Excellion then led Optimus into an old building where Magnus was and the two humans were and under a massive concrete block being held up by Magnus. Optimus told Magnus, "Magnus!I never thought you'd do something this idiotic! Silverbolt told me all good things about you, stunts like this were not one of them!"
"He's blinded by whatever you promised him," said Magnus. Optimus transformed and asked, "what do you want, Magnus?" Magnus simply said, "Simple, give me the title of Prime." Optimus stepped forward and said, "The other Autobots would never follow your orders." That was when Optimus got an interior message that everyone was in place as Magnus said, "They will once you swear loyalty to me. They will have no choice but to follow me." Optimus crossed his arms and said, "They won't. And neither will I." Magnus scoffed and said, "then the humans' deaths are in your hands." he let go of the chain, but the concrete just moved to the side before dropping and missing the humans, confusing Magnus and Excellion. Optimus then said, "You know Magnus, you are not as smart as Silverbolt said you were." Soon the other humans in their drones and the living bots declocked. Bumblebee, Ironhide, Elita-1, and Silverbolt were all behind Magnus with their weapons ready while Jazz and Prowl held their blasters at Excellion's head. Magnus was shocked and said, "How?!"
"You can thank me for that trick." Said Mirage as he appeared. Mirage then said, "You Treadshot and Windrazor attack Optimus from behind. Would you have done that to Orion?" Magnus was about to speak, but Optimus stopped him and said, "Magnus, You are a good Soldier, but you have made these two humans fear us now. We defend humans." Magnus sighed, realizing he was out matched and said, "I apologize, Orion was my brother. When I heard of his death I came to assume command. When I found out humans defiled his sparkless body, I was angry. I now extend my humble Apology to you, Optimus Prime." Magnus extended his hand to Optimus, who took it and shook it as Agent Karasuma came in and with Agent sone, he untied the two civilians.
Later, the two humans were revealed to have the brain wave needed to pilot two new drones codenamed Chromia and Perceptor. John asked the two if they would join the fight against the Decepticons. The two agreed as they were friends with Nagisa and the others. John then asked for their names, and they were Manami Okuda and Kotaro Takebayashi.
