Her hair was caught in a high ponytail, bouncing from one side to the other. In her ears was an earphone with a lively song that she babbled the words softly. The weather was pleasant and the sun had barely begun to show its face yet, but that didn't stop Chichi from going for her morning run, quite the contrary, she liked to wake up early in the morning to go for a run, usually even before sunrise, it was the best time to exercise, she thought, so she could go to work full of energy.

She then looked at her watch to check the time and concluded that there was still time to run three or four miles before finishing.

However, as she passed a skinny man who was leaning nonchalantly on a tree while looking at his cell phone, she stopped. Then she took a good look at the fellow and narrowed her eyes, recognizing him.

Yes, it was him.

That bastard!

She frowned and snorted angrily as she took off her earphones and marched briskly toward him.

"HEY, YOU!" she shouted, drawing his attention, who looked frightened at her.

He quickly tried to grab the bike beside him and get out of there, but Chichi was much faster than he didn't even see the punch coming toward his face, he only felt the impact and heard a smashing noise and before he could bring his hands to his nose, she grabbed him by the arm twisting it behind his back.

"I'm gonna make you pay, you pervert!" she scolded as she held him tight. "Who do you think you are, running around grabbing women's butts? I should break your arm so you'll learn never to do that again."

"Hey, ouch, are you crazy? I don't even know you!"

"But I know you, and I know that you go around rubbing your dirty hands on the women around here. You shameless, pervert!"

"Ouch, ouch, ouch, it hurts, let me go!" shouted the man.

Some people had already stopped to observe the scene, but Chichi cared little. He had laid a hand on her a few days ago, but at the time, she had been unable to do anything about it, because he had immediately ridden away on his bicycle. The other day she had heard from other women about a man on a bicycle who was hanging around in the park, touching women, and she knew immediately who he was.

"Let me go! I'll sue you, you crazy woman!"

"I'm the one suing you for harassment, you pervert!"

At that moment, Goku, who was walking around with a Labrador dog, stopped to see what was happening and was surprised to recognize the woman who was restraining the man. He laughed not believing the coincidence, he didn't frequent that park and by chance, he bumped into her. He decided to approach.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch!" screamed the man she was holding.

"Need some help, miss?" Goku asked as the dog sniffed the man and Chichi's feet.

"No," she replied sharply, and Goku realized that she wasn't even pushing that hard to keep the man immobilized.

"Hey, I'm the one who needs help! Get that woman out of here!"

"Shut up, you pervert!" she shouted, her frown only making her expression more attractive in Goku's vision. "I'll break your arm!"

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry, I won't do it anymore. I promise!" the man cried, and Chichi applied more force. "Oh, oh, oh, it's true! I promise!"

"I don't ever want to hear from you ever again!" Chichi threatened. "If I see you here again, next time I'll break your arm and your leg!"

"All right, all right" he whimpered, and then Chichi let go, clapping her palms together as if cleaning herself.

The man looked at Chichi's threatening expression and didn't wait for another second, he got on his bike and rode off as fast as he could.

"And don't come back here ever again!" she shouted, and the dog on Goku's leash seemed to agree and barked in the man's direction. Chichi smiled at the animal and turned to Goku, saying, "Thanks for the help, but I had it under control!"

"No problem! You're pretty strong eh, Chichi!"

She tipped her head to the side and raised an eyebrow as the labrador was sniffing her again. "Do you know me?"

"Not exactly... I saw you fighting in the bar the other day." Goku answered. It was impressive how he had memorized her name that he had heard in the middle of all the confusion and also recognized her – as her physiognomy was very easy to remember, he would never forget a beautiful woman like that.

"Ah... You and half the world!" she rolled her eyes. It had trended for a few days on the internet. Fortunately, it was already gone like many things on the internet.

"Yeah, but I was there that night, I even went to try to help, but there you also had everything under control." he laughed. "You managed to immobilize that guy who was twice your size."

Chichi shrugged and replied casually: "I can fight, I keep fit."

The dog then began to jump up, putting his paws on Chichi, asking for affection.

"Hey, take it easy there, boy! You don't even know if she liked you!" Goku smirked, he wasn't exactly referring to the dog. Chichi mentioned petting the animal, hoping for Goku's approval, who just nodded with a smile.

"Aww, but of course I liked it. Your dog's adorable!" Chichi said as she rubbed her hand on the dog's head. "What's his name?"

"Shenron!" Goku replied with a charming smile. "And mine is Goku, by the way!"

Chichi only looked to him at the dog briefly and returned to petting the animal. He was very handsome, she realized, despite the unruly hair sticking out to the sides. He was wearing black shorts and an orange tank top, a basic workout look, but enough to show off his thick, strong legs and muscular arms. His face had a charismatic feature and a captivating smile that she believed, if she looked hard enough, would be easily hypnotized. She didn't usually open up to chat with men who came up to her at casual times like this, but perhaps the presence of the dog had softened her up a bit and so she ended up interacting with the guy anyway.

"How old is he?"

Goku pondered and scratched the back of his head with his free hand before answering: "Erm... I don't know, I think about 3 or 4... It's just that, actually, he's not mine, but my brother's. I'm taking care of him while he's traveling."

"Got it! Cool."

Chichi petted the dog again and Goku decided to act, suddenly asking: "Hey, can I take a photo of you?"

"A photo?"

"So I can show Santa Claus what I want for Christmas!" and he smiled mischievously.

Chichi arched her eyebrows and stared at him, not believing what she had just heard. But before she could answer anything, the dog jumped on her legs again, startling her slightly. Goku just pulled the animal's leash and warned him.

"He seems to like you!"

"Yeah..." Chichi agreed and pretended not to have heard his lame line.

"If you have a dog too, we could bring them to the park someday for them to keep each other company, how's that sound? Shenron loves to play with other dogs. Just give me your phone number so we can make the right arrangements!" Having said this he smiled seductively because it was obvious that this was just a lame excuse to get the brunette's phone number. He didn't know when and if he would have the opportunity to see her again, it was by chance that he had met her there that morning, so he couldn't miss the chance to get her phone number.

"Uh... I don't have!" Chichi replied directly and Goku was a little unresponsive. She didn't have a what? A dog or a phone? "But maybe you could ask Santa for a dog! Then Shenron will have company!" she sounded sour and gave a little wink, which drew an uncouth laugh from Goku.

"I'm gonna go now. Bye Shenron! Have a good day!" she waved at him and then resumed her run, although she was not noticing the smile she carried on her face.

Goku just smiled as he saw her shapely body walking away, dressed in that black legging and a pink tank top that outlined her curves. He then crouched down to pet the dog as he said: "Yeah... this one looks like a tough one, buddy... But that's ok, I do like a challenge."

He then resumed his walk with the dog while checking out the other women in the park. He didn't know if he would meet Chichi again, but if he did, he would do his best to at least have her phone number. In any case, he could still get some more flirtation there.

His routine had remained the same for the past few days, but he had indeed noticed a subtle difference: he was no longer having problems with women coming after him after they had sex.

That night when he had witnessed that bar fight, Goku had taken an interest in Chichi, but he couldn't find the brunette anymore after she was taken away by the security, so he left with a hot blonde chick. The night had obviously been great, but when he got home and went to sleep, he ended up dreaming about that bizarre moment with Ribrianne and this brought up the memories of that night and the words she had said to him, but he still didn't take it seriously.

Since then, he realized that no woman had ever pursued him, asked him out again, or offered to have sex with him again. Not only the woman he had gone out with that night, whose name he could no longer remember but no other woman he had had sex with afterward. Even some women he had been out with a while ago, but who occasionally ended up going after him again, had completely stopped texting, calling, commenting, and interacting with his social media posts. It was as if they no longer had any interest in him after they had sex.

At first, he thought this was a bad thing because it would mean that he wasn't being good enough to make them want him again, that he had lost his touch, but he could see the satisfied looks on the faces of the women he went out with every time they had sex, and they didn't stop the first time or the second time, so his performance was still great, apparently. Maybe one or two could fake orgasm, but it was impossible for all of them.

It was then that he realized that this could only be connected with what Ribrianne had done to him. Yes. She had said that 'the one he lies down with, will never look at you again.

Pfft!

As if this were in fact a curse.

Goku didn't even believe in this curse thing, to him it was all just a lot of nonsense, but under the circumstances, something was happening and it could only be related to that thing that Ribirianne made with him.

The witch had cursed him that whenever he had sex with a woman, automatically the next morning she would no longer be interested in him. But this didn't sound like a curse. A spell, okay, but a curse is usually meant to be something bad, right? Was she aware that what she had done was actually a blessing? She thought she was harming him, when in fact she was only helping him. This was great for Goku. It was the freedom he had always dreamed of, never again having to worry about taking a woman to bed only to have her be all over him, never having to feel bad about hurting their feelings just because he wasn't interested in a serious relationship with the woman.

It was absurd, yes. But it was happening! In some crazy way, it was true, and he was beginning to believe that spells could really exist.

Of course, when he told his friends, they didn't believe him, but Goku needed to get the proof out, even for himself, and he knew exactly who would be the person to help him prove his thesis.

"Good Morning!" announced Chichi as soon as she stepped through the large automatic glass door and headed straight for the counter.

"Good morning, darling! Just listen: 'In love affairs, the stars promise exciting news!'" spoke Whis, running over to the greeting, who grimaced in excitement and surprise as he read the web page on his work computer. "'Seek to let go of hard concepts and let go of what you feel.'"

Chichi chuckled lightly.

"Wow! Interesting news, huh? You should keep an eye out!" she gave him a little wink.

"No, silly, this one is from your sign!"

"Mine?" Whis shook his head and Chichi tilted her head to the side thoughtfully, "Well, I felt like punching that pervert in the park in the face and that's exactly what I did! So it does make a little sense, I guess."

"You what?" the blond opened his mouth in a huge 'o'. "The one you said used to ride his bike harassing the women around, right?"

"Yes, I found him distracted today and went over to teach him a lesson. I almost ripped his arm off!"

Whis laughed out loud.

"Ah, why am I not surprised?!"

Then Chichi told everything that had happened in the park, including the part about Goku and the dog.

"Why didn't you give him your phone number, Chichi?" Whis wanted to choke his friend.

"Because I wasn't there for men!" Chichi replied, stating the obvious.

"You never are! You don't even have a dating app! I honestly don't know how you can live like this. I alone have been talking to more than ten guys..."

Chichi rolled her eyes.

"You already know how I feel about this thing of finding someone by app..."

"I know and that is why I am asking you. WHY DIDN'T YOU GIVE HIM YOUR NUMBER? This one you met in person, sweetheart!"

"I'm not after a boyfriend, Whis!"

"That doesn't mean that you can't take seize the opportunities that life gives you, sweetie!"

"Hey guys, good morning! What are you talking about?" asked a short, platinum-haired woman with a pixie cut who had also just arrived.

"Chichi who met a super hot guy at the park and wouldn't give him her phone number!"

"Whis!" Chichi sounded incredulous. "You saw him at the bar that night for like five seconds! You don't even know if he's super-cute and hot like you're saying!"

"Sweetiee, these eyes here don't miss a thing!" he stated as he gestured to his own violet eyes. "I scanned the whole boy in less than a second. The other four were just admiring his beauty!"

Chichi shook her head. Whis was impossible.

"But you know I'm not looking for a serious relationship right now!"

"Oh, but who said it had to be a serious relationship?" Asked Cheelai and exchanged a complicit look with Whis, who smiled lightly.

"Exactly! This is about seeex, my friend! S-E-X!" he practically spelled it out for Chichi who just rolled her eyes. "In case you've forgotten what it is, it's when two people get it on-"

"Oh, all right, all right!" Chichi cut him off, and Whis and Cheelai just burst out laughing.

She didn't want to admit it, but deep down she had found Goku really quite handsome and hot, he seemed nice, friendly, and had a super seductive smile, way too seductive actually, and that was where the danger lay. She knew she shouldn't get involved with a guy like him, she knew he shouldn't be worth a penny and that he certainly just wanted a fuck her and then never look in her face again. While she didn't want a serious relationship, she also didn't want to give a man like him the satisfaction of believing that she had fallen for his charms and that she was just another one of his conquests.

She was better than that and deserved more, for sure. And a dick for a dick, she could get it with any other guy.

"Whis is right! You don't have to date. Just fuck!"

"Uuhg! You guys are impossible!" Chichi grumbled. "I'll go prepare my room, my client will be here soon."

"Look, the next time you can give him my number, okay? If he's all that stuff Whis is saying, I won't mind it at all!" said Cheelai, partially joking. "I'm single, free of that jerk ex of mine, so now I want to enjoy life!"

"That's what I'm talking about!" Whis celebrated "Way to go, girl! But hold your horses, 'cause he's interested in Chichi!"

"But if she doesn't want to... Are you saying that you wouldn't take the opportunity too?"

"Well..." Whis suppressed a small chuckle, feigning a face of innocence. "Oh, screw it, I admit, I could be all over him!"

And they both burst into laughter again.

"Gosh! I deserve it..." murmured the brunette, shaking her head.

Then she turned her back and walked out, leaving Cheelai and Whis laughing in the reception area. She had more important things to worry about than the contact of a guy who certainly sucked.

A few days passed, and Goku and his friends went out for another snack during their lunch break. It was something they did from time to time, when they forgot to bring something from home or when they simply wanted to eat something tasty. However, when they arrived at the restaurant, Krillin already complained: "Did you really have sex with her this weekend?"

"Yes!"

"And you didn't call her?"

Goku snorted. "I never do."

Krillin grimaced in disappointment. How could he be proud of this behavior?

"So, you want to make us eat spit on our food? What is your problem?"

"Hey, I'll prove to you that it's true, I am – kinda – cursed! Suno doesn't care about having sex with me anymore, she has no interest in me." Argued the unruly hair man. "That's because of that Ribrianne curse. You'll see.

"That is the craziest story I have ever heard." Tien muttered.

"Impossible!" Yamcha replied. "The way you were flirting with her those times we came to lunch at the restaurant, she already seemed very much in love with you. I bet she was already thinking about marriage and the name of the children you would have together."

"Either she will continue to smile shyly at you, especially after you have had sex, or she will treat you like crap. She probably won't even want to look at your face." Krillin said. "Maybe she'll even ask someone else to take our orders. Which is better, so at least our food doesn't come with poison or spit. I think..."

"Okay, okay. If she was as much in love with me as you're saying, she will keep flirting, won't she?"

"Probably."

"If she is not angry with you."

"Okay, but even if she is, if I show that I still want to go out with her, she'll respond, won't she?"

"Maybe she'll play a little hard to get..." Yamcha pointed out. "But the way she was, I bet she'll be excited to hear that you still want to go out with her."

Goku shrugged and when they reached the table, he spotted her from afar. The red-haired girl smiled sweetly at them and walked over to the table to serve them, while Goku whispered to them: "You'll see. She's the one who turned me down!"

"Hi guys!" she smiled at everyone and then looked at Goku, still smiling. "Hi Goku! How are you?"

"Hello there."

"I'm fine, how bout you, Suno?" Goku asked, grinning.

"Good, thank you!" she answered sincerely, not a hint of sarcasm or irony in her voice, and everyone looked at each other. "What's gonna be for today?"

"I'll go with number five." Answered Tien and then Krillin: "I want today's special, please."

"I'll have today's special too." Said Yamcha, who added, quietly and covertly, but only his friends could hear. "With no spit, preferably."

"And you, Goku?" Suno asked as she noted on her tablet the information passed on by the others.

"I think I'll go with option three today. And... later perhaps, a dessert?" he smirked suggestively at her, in that charming way he always smiled that made women melt.

Suno remained static. The others at the table just watched curiously.

"And what will you have for dessert?"

"That depends. Are you free tonight?"

"Um..." she smiled faintly and looked away from him to the others. "Actually, I won't be able to."

Goku raised his eyebrows in surprise, even though he expected a negative answer. "Oh, really? Tomorrow then, maybe?"

Suno shook her head. "It won't work either..."

"No? What about the day after tomorrow? It doesn't even have to be at night, it can be in the morning or during your break time. With my schedule I can manage, it's very flexible." he lied, he was trying to find a way to zero in on his opportunities and test his theory once and for all.

The red-haired girl then swallowed dryly and bit her lower lip, her hands clutching her tablet in a distressed manner.

"You know what it is Goku..." she began, a little shy and alternating her gaze between Goku and the other men who were still watching everything very closely. "It's just that I... I'm going to be very busy these next few days. I don't think we'll be able to go out anymore."

At that moment Krillin, Yamcha and Tien exchanged wide-eyed and surprised looks. This was a scene never before seen by them. Three days ago, last Friday, Suno was practically all over Goku, she kept smiling and flirting, it was so clear that anyone could notice it miles away. And now she didn't want to go out with him anymore. This was extremely unusual.

"But why, Suno? Didn't you like our meeting on Saturday?"

"I liked it." she answered sincerely. "But it's just that... I..."

She felt a little uncomfortable being in front of his friends and having to talk to Goku about this subject. They had had an amazing night and she had enjoyed it very much, but for some reason, that even she didn't understand, she had no interest in going out with him again. Which was strange, because she could have sworn that he had been the best sex of her life so far...

"You can tell me, did something happens?"

"No, nothing happened, it's just... it's just... I don't..." she leaned over and spoke softly so that only he could hear, but with the silence at the table it was nearly impossible for the guys not to hear them. "I don't want to go out with you anymore, that's all…" she revealed with a long-suffering face, fearing his reaction. She didn't want to hurt his feelings, she didn't want him to feel humiliated in front of his friends, he was a nice guy after all.

The jaws of the other three men dropped.

"Are you mad at me or something?"

"No, no, no, no!" she nervously shook one of her hands. That was odd even for her because she had never been in a situation like that of turning down a handsome man like Goku with whom she had had a wonderful date. "Not at all, Goku... It's just that I really don't want to... Do you understand?"

"That's okay, Suno, I understand." Goku smiled sweetly at her. Logically he wasn't in the least offended. "No hard feelings."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am, don't worry. But you don't have to stop attending us when we come here or anything like that, okay?"

She smiled happily. "No need to worry, you're always very welcome here at Jingle. I'll be right back with your order!" she announced and turned away.

Goku looked at his friends who were stunned by the scene. "I told you!"

"Ohhhhhh, stop it. You set up this, didn't you!" Tien sneered.

"What did you do to make her not want anything more to do with you? Got a limp dick?"

Goku made a bored face at Yamcha. "Quite the opposite. We had sex at least three times, apart from oral sex..."

"Bullshit!"

"I mean it! SHE doesn't want to go out with me anymore, just like every other woman I've ever had sex with. None of them do! This is not a coincidence, this is not an arrangement between all the women in the world just to fool me. It is real!"

"Goku, that... that doesn't make any sense." Krillin commented. "That can only be because she also only cared about casual sex and we all thought she was naive and silly."

"No, it's not that. The way she was, it couldn't be just casual interest. I know this is crazy, but it's true, it's real! Look" Goku then took his cell phone out of his pocket and showed several conversations. In all the women gave excuses for not going out with him, others just ignored him, while some were more direct, saying that they were no longer interested in going out with him.

"Is that Annin? The receptionist?" Tien remarked.

"The one who was madly in love with you?" Krillin asked Goku. They had had sex a long time ago, but the woman seemed like she would never get over her crush on the man, especially since she had to see him every day at work.

"Was in love!" corrected Goku. "I made sure to text these women who I knew would want to go out with me again if they were free, or even if they weren't, but none of them did. None. Zero!"

"So what does this mean? That your charm is gone?"

"No, because I can still get with new women, I just can't get back with the ones I've already had sex with." Goku answered while smiling as if this was actually a good thing. "Even if I want to, they won't. Because of that thing, that curse of Ribrianne."

"But that doesn't sound like a curse to me..." Yamcha frowned.

"How?" Krillin inquired. "Now Goku won't be able to stay with the same woman, he won't be able to settle down, have a serious relationship, start a family or anything like that, because no woman will want to be with him the next day."

The three of them looked at each other, then looked at Krillin and laughed. Krillin made a bored face and crossed his arms.

"Goku? Settling down? Building a family? You're tripping, man!" Yamcha patted his short friend on the back. "That was never going to happen anyway."

The weeks that passed were even better for Goku. He was living the life he had asked God for. He had never had so much peace in his life as he was having these past few days, no women around him – except for the new ones who were interested in him, but those were no problem. After all, that weirdo Ribrianne had done him a great favor! If she had intended to punish him, she missed and missed badly.

That morning he decided to stop by the coffee shop on the first floor of the building where he worked before going upstairs. While waiting his turn to pay for his order, he heard a voice that caught his attention – as well as everyone else in the coffee shop, since the person was clearly annoyed.

"Excuse me, the end of the line is there!"

He then craned his neck and, curious, looked down the row at the order counter. His eyes widened in surprise when he realized that it was the brunette from the bar and the park. And she was... arguing?

In front of her was a short, chubby man with long black hair and a rather unfriendly expression that Goku recognized. The fellow muttered something that made her even more irritated: "What did you say? Are you trying to get hit in the face, you clown?"

"I was here before you!" replied the man rudely.

She narrowed her eyes at him, she knew that was not what he had said, but she chose not to keep the discussion going, so she just said: "You weren't! Get to the end of the line, you cheeky jerk!"

Emboldened by the brunette's imposition and with everyone looking in their direction, the man eventually left the line, but instead of going to the end, he just walked out of the Caffe.

Goku watched everything extremely amused and a smile was drawn on his face. What a coincidence to find her there. He had already come to terms with the fact that he wouldn't see her again after not meeting her in the park the other days, and seeing her there at the café that morning seemed like fate. Unfortunately, the brunette hadn't fallen for his charm the first time. It wasn't every woman he could get the phone number or a date with right away, some required a little more investment, which wasn't exactly a problem either.

And now she was there. It was his chance and he needed to take it.

Annoyed, she huffed as she crossed her arms. That was the least she needed to start the day, a lazy asshole trying to cut in front of her in the coffee line. She took a deep breath and stuck her nose up as she threw her hair back, and then proceeded to order her espresso, but when she went to pay, the attendant interrupted her saying: "Oh! Yours is already paid!"

The brunette arched her eyebrow at the blonde girl with emerald eyes in front of her.

"Is it serious? Who paid?"

"I don't know, it just says here in the system that someone paid for the girl named Chichi. It's you, isn't it?"

"Yes! Alright then, awesome!" Chichi smiled. "Thank you!"

As soon as she took her order, she found a free table and sat down. It didn't take a second before she listened: "Why is it that every time I meet you, you are fighting with someone?"

Chichi jumped slightly in fright when she realized that he was talking to her, and then craned her neck to the side to see who was talking.

"What? Oh, you!" she sounded surprised and Goku smirked when he realized that she recognized him.

"May I sit down?" he asked, but he didn't even wait for an answer and pulled out the free chair in front of her, settling down.

Chichi stared at him a little surprised at his attitude, he seemed to be a bit cocky, but she nodded. If he bothered her, she would kick his ass as she had done with the other annoying men she had come across before.

"And in my defense, this time I was not fighting. Just...kicking the crap out of a cheeky man who thought he could cut in line!"

"Fair enough!" he laughed. "Your boyfriend or husband won't mind if I sit with you, will he?"

Chichi raised an eyebrow at him before answering: "I don't have a boyfriend or a husband." she could have said she did, maybe it would have been easier to handle, but she didn't feel like lying. Goku smiled when he heard the answer.

"I thought it was important to check before causing any kind of trouble for you." he justified. "And you remembered me!"

"Oh yes, your name is..." she made a thoughtful face. "Shenron, right?"

Goku cracked his pretentious smile.

"No! That was the dog's name!"

"Dog? Oh yes, there was a dog! Well, I see the dog is more memorable than you are!" scoffed Chichi, who clearly hadn't forgotten about him, but wanted to play a little.

"Haha, of course! He's adorable!" replied Goku, without losing his pose. "By the way, you never told me if you had a dog or not, and I never saw you running in that park that week again."

"I don't have a dog, although I like animals." she admitted and took a sip of her coffee. She didn't have to say anything about herself to him, but she also saw no problem in embarking on that conversation, even with his lax attitude of sitting at her table uninvited, he seemed like a nice guy, after all. "And about the park, I ended up having to switch my running schedule due to work issues that week. Thanks for the coffee, by the way! You saved me some money today!"

"How do you know it was me?"

"Well, no other person is talking to me right now, so..." she shrugged.

"Okay, okay, you got me." he held up his hands in defeat. "I thought you deserved it, after all the trouble you had to go through. This place used to be better frequented, it's full of snooty men lately." he laughed at the irony, for he knew that she must be thinking the same of him. "I know that guy, he works here in the building. Yajirobe is his name, very annoying, complains about everything and is always trying to take advantage of situations. You were right to put him in his place."

"Yeah, I can see. But it wasn't you who had to bother. Or do you happen to own the coffee shop?" she narrowed her eyes in his direction and took a sip of her espresso.

Goku laughed.

"No, I don't... Okay, I just wanted an excuse to talk to you!" he admitted, smiling before taking a sip of his coffee. "Do you work here in the building? I've never seen you around here before..."

"No. I don't work here, but I already knew this cafe."

"So you live nearby?"

"Um, no..."

"Do you work here in the region...?"

"Yes, at Bansho Fan."

"Bansho Fan..." he repeated, shaking his head as if that name meant nothing to him. "Never heard of it. Where is it?"

"About five blocks away."

"Close at hand!" He smiled. "And what do you do?"

"Um... Let's say... I help people improve their self-esteem..." Chichi answered with an enigmatic smile and tossed her hair to the side. She could talk a little, but she wouldn't talk all about herself or her personal matters. She didn't even know why she was being friendly with him. First, it was the dog, and now? Was it the coffee? She hadn't asked him to pay and shouldn't feel like she owed him anything, but still, she didn't feel like being short and sweet.

"Okay, right!" with arched eyebrows, Goku muttered. "Interesting... Maybe you could tell me more about it on a date?! I'd really like to know a little more about you. Saturday night! What do you say?"

"Um..." Chichi put her hand to her chin as she pretended to ponder the request. "Saturday won't work..."

"Another day then? When are you free?"

"My goodness, look at the time!" she sounded surprised as she looked at her cell phone screen and changed the subject. "I have to go, or else I'll be late."

"Hey, wait! At least leave me your number this time!" he insisted. He couldn't lose the chance to get her phone number.

"See ya!" she commented as she got up and walked hurriedly to the door of the establishment, but before she passed through the door, with an amused smile on her lips, she said: "Thanks for the coffee, Goku!"

He smiled. Of course she remembered him!

Notes:

So, Goku and Chichi met again, twice! But she seems very reluctant in giving in to a date with him... But how long can it last? 😏 Goku is going to try harder!

Meanwhile, we can already see a little of how the effect of the curse is affecting his life. Suno dumped him in a calm manner, but he didn't even mind... It seems like a good thing, but is it really good?

Soon we'll know if Chichi is going to fall for his seduction... Next chapter is going to be so much fun!

Thanks for reading!

GabouSW: Yeah, Chichi! Show him who's boss! I know right?! She had so much potential… I still love her tho, but they didn't need to have backed her down just as wife and mother. The second chapter title is really something! I'm glad you liked! Tks for the review!
