A/N Hey, guys. Welcome back to another chapter of the Riverdale series. So first off, I hope you guys are doing well out there in the world. And second, I do want to apologize for not updating because I was focused on taking care of my physical and mental health since it's been my priority. Anyway, this is part four of Body Double and we get to see Trev in this chapter as he wants to help expose Chuck and his secrets and the taste of Riverdale is here. Hopefully, I will finish up Body Double before I start episode four The Last Picture Show. So, this is chapter eighteen, the fourth part of Body Double, and let's get right to it, shall we? And this chapter is a special shoutout to AvidMovieFan16 and Skyrider45 since we're all writing our own Riverdale fanfics.

I only own my OCs. I really don't need to say this every now and then.

Over the next few hours, Luke, holding two cups of coffee in hand, walked towards to the Blue and Gold offices to meet with his sister and Betty to discuss their next move. When he gets there, Ethel, Kevin, Veronica, and Val's brother Trev were at the doorway.

"Hey, what's going on?" he asked.

"Oh, you're here. Trev here says he knows where Chuck is keeping his secret playbook." Leia replied.

"Really? That's a surprise." Luke stated.

"Trev Brown." Trev introduced as he held his hand out.

"Luke Hawthorne." Luke acknowledged as he shook Trev's hand.

The group started walking in the dark hallways of their high school as they start looking for Chuck's secret playbook.

"Steubenville, Glen Ridge, but the coach's son being the ringleader? I mean, just how depraved is this town?" asked Veronica.

"Color me impressed." Cheryl called.

The group turned around as they find Cheryl holding a flashlight in her hand.

"What are you doing here?" asked Betty.

"And where did you get those thigh-high boots? They're amazing." Kevin asked.

"Kevin, now it's not the time to admire someone's fashion shoe wear." Leia muttered.

"Trev told Valerie, who told Josie, who told Ginger, who told Tina, who told me. And I thought I would help out." Cheryl simply replied.

"And you just happen to hear those rumours from the others? Unbelievable." Luke grumbled.

"Help? Or derail our investigation?" asked Betty.

"Get over yourself, Betty." Cheryl replied.

"Hey, guys. Get in here." Ethel called.

The group walks over to Ethel as she held the playbook in her hands.

"Trev was right. They didn't even bother to find it." Ethel stated.

"'New girl?' Is that what I'm reduced to? By nine points?" Veronica asked.

"Better than 'big girl.' Seven point five." Ethel replied.

Luke clenched his fists. Chuck Clayton is gonna wish he didn't mess with every girl he hooked up with here in Riverdale.

"Polly's in this book." Betty spoke, as she pointed her sister's name in the book.

"Let me see." said Leia.

The young twin glanced at Polly's name and it was right next to Jason's name.

"Cheryl, if your brother would do something like this to hurt Polly, this could spell trouble." Luke snapped.

"I'm so sorry, Betty." Veronica apologized.

"This is what guys like Jason and Chuck think about women. We're objects for them to abuse. And when they're done, they shame us into silence. They have zero remorse for the lives they destroy." Betty snapped.

"If one of them even dares to think about ruining my sister's life, they're gonna wish they didn't cross me." Luke snarled.

Cheryl walked away, as she processes the truth about her brother and what he had done to ruin Polly's lifestyle.

"I'll take a picture. We'll show it to Weatherbee, and it'll be the perfect cover for your expose." Veronica said to Betty.

"Yeah, but no. These girls deserve justice, don't you think, Cheryl?" Betty asked the Vixen queen.

But Cheryl doesn't say anything, as she's still in denial about her brother.

"You want vengeance? You wanna go full dark, no stars, Veronica? I'm with you." Betty addressed to Veronica.

Veronica grinned, feeling satisfied and pleased that Betty has agreed to help get revenge.

"Please keep me and my brother out of this. We don't need to stir up any trouble." said Leia.

The next night, the taste of Riverdale had arrived in the small town as it took place at the town hall.

"Welcome all, to the first annual Taste of Riverdale. As a lead up to our 75th anniversary jubilee, this event proves that Riverdale truly is a town that, when tragedy knocks us down, we get right back up." Sierra announced.

Among the attendees is Clifford and Penelope as well as Hermione, Pop Tate, and Natalie helping out with the catering and serving appetizers and drinks. The twins and Daniel were also among the attendees, supporting the event.

"Bon appetite." Sierra finished as she raised her glass.

Sierra stepped off the stage as she joined the rest of the adults who gathered all around. Not long after, there was an altercation happening between Alice and Penelope. Daniel and Natalie quickly stepped in to prevent the altercation from going into chaos.

"Hey! That's enough!" Daniel shouted.

Just then, Josie, Valerie, and Melody walked up to the stage as Josie stepped up to the microphone to divert the crowd's attention away from the drama.

"Hey uh, Riverdale. We are Josie and the Pussycats. Are you ready to rock? This evening, we'll be performing a song that we co-write with none other than Archie Andrews!" Josie announced proudly.

A few attendees were caught off guard when Josie announced Archie's name. The music started as Josie, Valerie, and Melody started to sing the song Archie co-wrote with them. Alice waltzed over to Hermione and Natalie.

"Hermione Lodge. Park Avenue princess to cater waiter with Natalie Hawthorne." Alice sneered.

"Alice Cooper. No longer lactose intolerant, I see." Hermione retorted.

"She hasn't changed one bit." Natalie said to Hermione.

"How's Veronica?" asked Alice as Hermione looked at her former friend, feeling puzzled by her question.

"Oh. You don't even know, do you? The things that they're saying about your daughter at school." Alice stated, playing innocent.

"What things?" asked Hermione.

"Slut-shaming. That's what they call it when sluts get shamed." Alice replied.

Hermione frowned. Veronica didn't come and talk to her about her slut-shaming situation?

"You know, you really, you have to keep an eye on girls like Veronica. They so easily can get out of control." Alice suggested before turning to Natalie, "Including your son Luke and your daughter Leia."

"You keep my kids' names right out of your mouth." Natalie seethed.

Sometime later, the twins and Jughead were walking down the stairs as they spit Dilton Doiley leaning against a stairwell.

"Hello, Dilton." Jughead greeted.

"We spoke to one of your Boy Scouts. We know you fired a gun, which makes you both a liar and a public menace." said Luke as he glared at Dilton.

"So what if I did? I was doing the Adventure Scouts a favour. Somebody has to teach them how to stand their ground, the way this town..." Dilton began, but he was interrupted.

"Save it for your statement, which you can make to Sheriff Keller or to the three of us. So I suggest the latter." Leia said sharply.

Dilton could only stare at the Hawthorne siblings and Jughead, considering the choice.

"Blue and Gold offices, tomorrow." Luke finished as he, his sister, and Jughead walked away.

That will wrap up for part four for now. So what do you guys think? So I finally came up with who's a good casting for Daniel and Natalie. I thought of them being portrayed by Aaron Taylor Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen since they both played a married couple in the 2014 movie Godzilla. Again, I apologize for not updating last month because things got really bad recently. I couldn't access the internet on my laptop because I always publish chapters there, and I ended up having to do this by hand using the app on my phone and my thumbs get really sore after typing and writing. Anyway, let me know what you guys thought of chapter eighteen because the next chapter will wrap up episode three Body Double and I will get started on episode four The Last Picture Show. Until then, I will see you guys in chapter nineteen.
