Hello everyone!
So, I have been doing a lot of thinking as far The Gifted is concerned. While it's been so long, this is a story that I still love and see so much potential in. However, reading it over with a fresh pair of eyes it's easier for me to see the inconsistencies and mistakes. It has also fueled me with a new passion. I want to see this story to the end, no matter how long it takes.
Once that was decided, I knew I needed to come up with a game plan. I thought about deleting what has been posted already and starting over or replacing the chapters that are already up. That made me realize that it was just as important to me to have something displaying how my writing has progressed as it was to evolve the story. Because of this I won't be deleting the original story, but rather leaving it up and publishing a second story titled something along the lines of The Gifted: Definitive Edition or The Gifted: Revised.
I am currently reconstructing the first 26 or so chapters, adding to the lore and world and straightening out the plot. Then they will be uploaded in chunks of three to five chapters at a time. I want to catch up to where The Gifted (Original) is plot wise as efficiently as possible. After that comes the rest of the story that has been floating around my head for the past seven years.
