It was just another day for Gabby and Boba.

"What do you feel like doing, Big Brother?"

"I don't know. What do you wanna do?" Boba replied.

There wasn't much for them to do. Younglings were in their classes, their parents were busy, and none of their friends were around. Carousella and Remix were visiting their family today, so riding was out. Neither of them was allowed to leave the Temple without a grownup, so they couldn't go anywhere.

They only had each other for now.

Gabby looked at some things that were in the Temple's new playroom. She picked up a coloring book.

"Wanna color?" Gabby asked, opening the book. "Oh, wait. This one's fully colored."

"I don't feel like coloring."

Boba tried to think of something.

"We could play on the swing." He suggested.

"It broke yesterday, remember?"

"Oh yeah."

The two kids were so bored, neither of them seemed to have any ideas of what they could do. Then, Gabby looked at the bookshelf and picked up a storybook. This one she picked up was about a firedog named Smokey who saved a school from a fire.

"I know! Let's be firefighters!" Gabby exclaimed.

"Aren't we too young for that?" Boba pointed out as Gabby went into a big chest filled with costumes.

"I don't mean for real. Whoa!" Gabby fell into the chest.

"Gabby!"

And Gabby popped out with a red firefighter helmet on her head. "Here I am!"

"You okay?" Boba helped his sister out.

"Never better." Gabby put on a firefighter jacket she found. "We'll use our imaginations to be firefighters. We're playing Pretend. It's my favorite game."

Boba liked that idea. He remembered when he was little, he used to play pretend all the time with Fuzzy and his toy starships. But he never had any other kids to play pretend with him. So, he dug into the dress up chest and found a costume that fit him. And Gabby found a stuffed dog to use as their fire dog.

"Let's call him Smokey." Gabby said.

"Ready to fight the fire?" Boba asked.

"Ready when you are. Time to imagine."

Imagining Firefighting Kids...

Firefighters Gabby and Boba Skywalker were out and about driving in their firetruck with their loyal fire dog Smokey by their side.

Smokey barked as he felt the calming wind through his hair.

"No fires to fight yet, Smokey." Gabby said. "Think we'll be getting a call soon."

"If there's one thing I know about firefighting," said Boba. "the element of surprise is often in motion."

Suddenly, they heard the sound of a call coming in.

Attention Firefighter Skywalkers! We have a forest fire in progress in Gardener Park! All units respond!

The kids looked at each other.

"Time to fight fire!" They fist-bumped and then turned on the siren.

"Find the fire, Smokey!" Gabby ordered their dog. And the dog sniffed out the fire, guiding the children to where they had to be. And they soon arrived at Gardener Park.

The kids exited the firetruck and got out the hose.

"Let's put out this fire!"

Gabby and Boba aimed their hoses at the fire, fearlessly extinguishing the blazes until it was finally out, and all the people shouted Hooray when they saw the firefighters save the day.

Reality:

"That was fun!" Gabby said, holding the scarf she pretended was a hose. "Let's fight another fire!"

"Can we pretend to be something else? Firefighting seemed to take less time than I thought."

"Um... okay. It's only fair we take turns."

Boba started to think. What would be an exciting adventure for them to take?

"How about we go hunt for dinosaurs?"

"Like Jurassic Park?"

"I guess so."

Jurassic Jedi...

Gabby and Boba were now in a jungle filled with dinosaurs. They were paleontologists who were part of a secret laboratory project that brought dinosaurs back from extinction. However, today, something went horribly wrong, and dangerous, hungry, carnivorous velociraptors escaped from their cages.

Now, it was up to Dr. Fett and Dr. Sky to find those raptors and get them back into their cages. The kids hid in the bushes as they were on the lookout for dinosaurs.

"Any sign of the escaped raptors, Dr. Fett?" Gabby, who was now being paleontologist Dr. Sky.

"Not yet, Dr. Sky." Boba, now being Dr. Fett whispered, keeping his net at the ready.

The kids moved very carefully as they looked about for their missing dinosaurs. It was quiet. Too quiet.

"If I were a raptor, where would I hide?" Boba looked around.

"Maybe you ask the raptor behind you!" Gabby screamed, pointing behind her brother.

The raptor growled something, and the kids ran away, screaming.

The kids came across many other dinosaurs, none of which seemed interested in chasing the children.

The two paleontologists kept running until they came to a wall and started to catch their breath.

"You think we lost the raptor?" Gabby asked.

"I think so?" Boba breathed.

Just then, they heard a noise, and Boba swung his net, catching something, but not a raptor

Boba quickly put down his net when he saw Master Yoda caught in it.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, Master Yoda." Boba said, getting the Grand Master out of the net.

"Are you okay?" Gabby asked.

"Hmm. Okay, I am." Yoda said. He chuckled. "Quite the scare, you gave me. Oh, cute you both are in matching outfits."

Yoda wasn't alone either. Mace Windu was with him.

"What are you two doing?" Mace asked.

"We're paleontologists." Gabby said. "That's a scientist that studies dinosaurs."

"We were pretending to catch raptors that escaped a lab." Boba added.

"Well, try to keep the roughhousing to a minimum, you two." Mace said. "It's all good fun till someone gets hurt."

"Yes, Uncle Mace." Gabby said.

"Yes, Master." Boba said.

"Let's go find something else to do." Gabby said.

The two kids went back to the playroom and looked through the dress-up chest to find something else to pretend to be.

"Hmm...what about race car drivers?" Gabby suggested, pulling out a uniform.

"That looks too tight." Boba said. He took out a vampire cape. "What about we be vampires?"

"Too scary." Gabby said. Then she thought again. "Or maybe..."

Imagine this: strange things have been happening at the Jedi Temple. No one knows how it happened. But as if by some curse, they were haunted.

But now, out came two very brave children. To stop these haunting spirits. Who can you call?

"Ghostbusters!" Boba and Gabby exclaimed, holding their ectoplasm blasters at the ready.

The kids roamed the halls, on the prowl for ghosts. It was quiet. Too quiet.

"Keep your eyes peeled, Big Brother." Gabby said. "These ghosts could be anywhere."

"Shh! I hear something." Boba whispered. And he and Gabby got their weapons ready.

The kids crept down the hall and peered around the corner to see little butterfly-like ghosts flying all around the place.

"Busted!" Gabby exclaimed as she and Boba began chasing the butterfly ghosts, the bugs flying all over the place as they fired their blasters and caught the ghosts in a little box.

The kids ran all over the place, catching ghosts one-by-one. They jumped all around and caught as many as they could, until someone touched Gabby from behind, and she pounced on them in response, the 'ghost' falling to the floor with a grunt, another one beside him laughing.

"Gabby!" Anakin groaned.

Turned out that last ghost was just Anakin, and Ahsoka was with him, laughing as she saw her master get tackled by his three-year-old daughter.

"Hi, Daddy." Gabby giggled. "I thought you were a ghost."

"Well, I'm not. I'm clearly alive." Anakin said, sitting up.

"You okay, Dad?" Boba asked.

"I'm fine."

Ahsoka eyed the kids' costumes.

"Aw, and you both look so cute in your matching outfits." Ahsoka said.

"Why does everyone keep calling me cute?" Boba groaned.

"You get used to it." Gabby giggled.

"You are kind of an adorable ten-year-old." Anakin said, hugging Boba and messing up his hair. "Come here, you little rascal!"

"Dad!" Boba groaned, trying to escape his adoptive father's grip, only for Gabby to jump on him and start tickling.

Anakin also joined in on tickling his kids, only for them to start running.

"Oh no! Tickle Monster is after us!" Gabby screamed playfully. "Run for your lives!"

"Guess that makes you the monster, Master." Ahsoka said, running with the kids to join in the game.

Anakin chuckled and got right to playing with his three favorite kids in the galaxy.
