Due to unexpected circumstances, I was without access to a computer for most of the week. However, that gave me extra time to receive messages.
I'm so incredibly touched by your kind words, support, and very much needed advice.
After some reflecting and realizing that I was focusing so much on the negativity that I was getting, that I forgot what it was that made writing fanfic so much fun for me.
That it's not just about me.
One of my favorite past times is going back to re-read some very amazing fanfics that I love. And for some reason it didn't occur to me that readers did that for my stories as well.
I needed that reminder to set me straight.
Anyway, I WILL NOT BE DELETING THIS STORY AFTER ALL.
