Chapter thirteen:
All the angels and demons, even Haruhi, bow their heads in a respectful greeting to the two greatest powers of above and below.
"We are here to discuss the changing of Kaoru from angel to demon." God explains as Satan nods his head.
"We only plan to do it because it is in the best interest of our family and our sons futures." The twins mother tries to explain to God. "We don't mean any disrespect by doing this."
"The air for change is long overdue." Satan suddenly speaks. "I honestly would enjoy having an angel fall to become one of my demons. However in this instance I must say that it is better that he does not change."
The others except God look surprised at this.
God decides to continue from where Satan has left off. "The birth of Hikaru and Kaoru was always meant to signify changes for the angels and demons of Earth. A start in the steps towards a more stable peace than what is present already. The very first angel and demon children born. You may have fears that the life of Earth has given you. However you must be proud of your children for who they are. It is time for things to change here on Earth. If angels and demons are to continue to live in peace alongside humans on Earth then some change is needed. We ask for you to be pillars to promote this change. For the good of the lives of all of those who live on Earth."
The twins parents look down.
"We never even thought of that." The father explains to which Satan gives a slight of course snort. "We were so focused on the future of our family we failed to truly realize the significant signs of having one angel child and one demon child."
Tamaki gets to his feet clearing his throat. "Do not fret. Even during this we as club and as friends of Hikaru and Kaoru will stand with you on it. Stand for the change to the peace that is needed between angels and demons. You will never lose our support in any of this."
"And I am willing to help where I can as well." God adds. "A lot will start to change however you will not lose everything. I will make sure of that."
"I guess since this is very important I will help as well." Satan agrees to this refusing to look to God.
"Where do we even begin?" The twins mother looks to the direction that both God and Satan are standing in. "I don't even know how to begin to change the world. It's certainly a lot of pressure."
"If I may suggest." Kyouya is the one who speaks up and he continues after God gives him a go ahead nod. "We could do a televised broadcast and even spread it over the internet. With both God and Satan present to help in putting the outsiders minds at slight more ease about this. If we do this I would indeed highly suggest that we have God and Satan there to show their support of it as well."
"That is a good idea." God nods to this. "Especially on Earth it is definitely one way to spread such news rather quickly."
"Prepare yourselves though. Some may dislike you for it though." Satan warns them looking over the. "The start to change is not going to be smooth sailing or too simple."
"Since this is what you both have agreed on must be done then we will do it." The twins mother tells them. "There is no way we are going to argue with the two of you about this decision. We will play our part as we were supposed to after they were born."
"Then let's prepare everything for the change. We will get two popular TV stations to cover this. One run by demons and one run by angels." God offers a smile to Satan who happens to glance to him at this. "Each of us will pick out which TV station will get to air this. As this affects both angels and demons it is best that things are fair for both sides."
"That is right." Satan nods to this actually looking pleased about God saying this. "Plus both sides will feel included if reported on by both angels and demons. If angels did so they'd just be seen as pushing their wants onto demons. Even though I will be seen supporting this. More demons will be happy if there is a demon also reporting on it."
"Then we shall head out to find the right stations for this. They can stay out of school for now until the big announcement. No need to prematurely get the ball rolling. Because of how things have been handled so far it is best that this is taken carefully. We will return tomorrow at around the same time as we will have then to get everything ready. We will aim for the day after tomorrow for it to take place. It is important that they do be allowed to return to school as soon as possible."
"We will be waiting to hear from you again. We can meet here once more then." The twins mother offers to which Satan and God nod their heads.
The two powerful beings then leave with that.
Haruhi turns to look to Hikaru who goes over happily hugging Kaoru who hugs him back. "How in the world did you get them to come Hikaru?" She questions as she isn't even sure if that was possible for one lone demon to do.
Everyone turns to look to the twins also curious about this as the twins pull apart from their hug.
"Well kinda of funny story." Hikaru begins with a hand rubbing the back of his head. "I was trying to figure out a way to try to help Kaoru from being forced into changing who he is. I figured that Satan wouldn't be of any help so I did honestly try to reach the heavens with a prayer. It actually worked and I spoke to God who brought us here to discuss this whole thing. Satan just ended up joining as well." He admits giving a slight smile on his face.
"Well I suppose that they do see it as pretty important. So I guess it would end up with them answering rather quickly." Kyouya nods softly to this. "For now we should all prepare ourselves for this to happen. And the changes that will be coming with it. We will meet back here tomorrow to wait for them to give their information about all of this."
The others make sounds of agreement to this.
Hikaru would be lying if he said he wasn't still nervous about it all. He just hopes that things go as well as everyone seems to think that it will. But no matter what happens he will be there for his brother.
