Chapter 3

Blake has been doing meditation sessions with Sensei Kanoi for the past week. Cam has also been true to his word about not telling the others. Although, Blake knows that will only last so long because he added 'for now' at the end. At least he doesn't have to deal with everyone worrying about him for the moment. The meditation sessions have been helping. He didn't believe Cam at first when the green samurai ranger said it would help, but it really has. It has helped Blake to calm his mind. Blake has also been able to sleep a bit better. He's still not back on his normal sleep schedule, but at least he's been getting more sleep than before.

He was currently at the motocross track with Cam. They were doing the side of their agreement where Blake is teaching Cam how to ride a motocross bike. They always did it when nobody was at the track. Cam has been doing pretty well now compared to when Blake first started working with him. Blake honestly didn't know exactly when he became such good friends with Cam, but he does have to admit that they have a way better friendship than Cam has with most of the other rangers. They finished their lap around the track before stopping. Blake finished before Cam, of course.

"Good job," Blake said. "You're getting the hang of it."

"I have to admit that it's nice to be learning how to do a sport," Cam said.

"Maybe soon, you can race with me, Hunter, and Dustin."

"Maybe. If I don't have anything to do in Ninja Ops."

"Has anyone ever told you that you work too hard?"

"I believe you all have told me that."

"Well, it's ok to let Cyber Cam take care of some of your duties while you hang out with us. It's not good for you to be cooped up in Ninja Ops all the time. And fighting Lothor's goons doesn't count as getting out," Blake added before Cam could say anything.

"I'm getting out now, aren't I?" Cam retorted.

"You know, you're annoyingly stubborn."

"I could say the same thing about you considering that you didn't want anyone to know about your PTSD from being captured by Lothor."

"Touché. I guess that's why we get along so well."

"Could be."

"Let's call it for today," Blake said and the two took their bikes off the track. When they agreed to start doing this, Blake helped Cam get his own bike because he would obviously need it. "Have any plans for tonight?" Blake asked Cam.

"Probably working on upgrades for our weapons," Cam responded. "What about you?"

"I'm going out with Tori."

"How has that been going?"

"Really well. I've liked Tori since I met her and now, we're officially a couple which has been amazing."

"Everyone knew you liked her. I'm pretty sure the others were taking bets on how long it would be until you two admitted your feelings for each other."

"What made you think they were betting on us?"

"The fact that Hunter told Shane and Dustin that they each owed him $20 once you two got together."

Blake frowned. "Remind me to steal $40 from Hunter later."

"Noted."

As they started walking, they saw lasers being fired at them and both dodged it. "Looks like Lothor is done being quiet," Cam commented.

"It was nice while it lasted," Blake said.

"Are you ok?" Cam asked Blake because he hasn't been training again for very long.

"Yeah," Blake responded as Kelzaks were approaching them.

"Ready."

"Ready. THUNDER STORM!"

"SAMURAI STORM!"

"RANGER FORM! HA!" They yelled the last part in unison.

Now that they were both morphed, they charged at the Kelzaks. There weren't that many and it was easy for the two rangers to beat them. It was going well until one of Lothor's aliens teleported down. "Looks like I get to have some fun now," the alien said and charged after the navy thunder ranger. Blake started fighting the alien and he felt that the alien was familiar in a way, but he could quite place his finger on it. Until..."Remember me, Navy Ranger."

Blake could see back on the ship when he was stuck in that cell, already weakened from fighting against Zurgane and Vexacus as well as when Lothor attacked him to threaten his friends. The aliens that Lothor allowed to have "fun" with him later on. He foolishly hoped to never see any of them again. Granted, he knew deep down that he would run into one of them again eventually, but he hoped that it wasn't going to be so soon. His moment of distraction allowed the alien to be able to land a hard hit that knocked him back and onto the ground.

"Blake!" Cam yelled and charged at the alien. He used his samurai saber to keep the alien back, but he wasn't prepared for the laser blast that the alien shot at him. He was knocked in the opposite direction that Blake was.

"Looks like I get to destroy two rangers today," the alien said.

"Not on our watch."

The alien looked up to see the other four rangers.

"Leave our friends alone," the red wind ranger said.

"This was getting boring anyway," the alien said. "I'll be back to have more fun with all of you later." The alien teleported back onto Lothor's ship. He knew that Lothor would probably be mad at him for bailing, but it was better than getting his butt kicked by four rangers.

Cam stood up and demorphed once the alien was gone and went over to the other rangers who also demorphed. "You alright?" Shane asked.

"Yeah," Cam said.

"Why are you wearing motocross gear?" Dustin asked confused and the others hadn't noticed that until now.

"I'll explain later," Cam said once he noticed Blake was still in the same spot he had been before, demorphed, and looked to be having another panic attack. He ran over to try to calm the navy thunder ranger. The others looked to where Cam went and also ran over. Hunter went into big brother mode and Tori went into girlfriend mode. Cam looked at how they were crowding Blake. "You guys aren't helping. Back up." He looked back to Blake. "Hey Blake. I need you to breathe with me, ok?" Blake followed Cam's breathing until it was back to normal. "Are you ok now?"

"Yeah. Thanks," Blake said and stood up.

"Blake, what just happened?" Hunter asked.

"It was just another panic attack," Blake responded.

"Another?" Tori asked. "You mean this has happened before?"

"Why don't we get back to Ninja Ops before you make Blake explain?" Cam said and the rest agreed and they all started on their way back to Ninja Ops.
