Saffron City: Shortly After Ash and Co. Left…
Saffron City was once the shining capital of the Kanto region. Now, it was battle worn from two, separate battles, across the city, within mere days of each other. The damage ranged from homes being looted to important buildings being littered with holes and everything in between.
Since Team Rocket's defeat, it's been days of cleaning, assessing reconstruction efforts, and gathering any property scattered around the city to be returned to their rightful owners. With all of this squared away, Wes had called together the most prominent citizens of Saffron to his tent.
Arcana, Kiyo, Joy, Jenny, and Ike Iron. The reinstated psychic gym leader, new fighting gym leader, head nurse, lead officer, and president of Silph Co. The president was an older gentleman in a black suit and white hair. Wes now took his seat at a table with them.
"With everything that's happened, I assure you Saffron has Kanto's full support in the rebuilding efforts." Wes informed. "With Team Rocket put away and clean up handled, I can have the best craftsmen from around Kanto to make Saffron better than ever."
Everyone nodded before Ike spoke up. "That's all well and good; however, our city's mayor…"
"…has been removed from office and detained." Wes interrupted. "Initial investigation revealed his association with Team Rocket and involvement in helping them secure the city. Evidence is still being collected but rest assured he will be going away for years.
A new election will be held once Saffron is restored, and the Elite Four is stepping in to make a new policy. Gym Leaders are to be involved in the running of the city provided they are eighteen or older. Should someone younger take the position, the Elite Four will assign a proxy."
"What about the pardoned?" Jenny asked critically. "Genesis, Sabrina, Jessie, Mondo, and Meowth?"
"If you are insinuating I shouldn't have pardoned them, I'd like to remind you that I was once where those five were." Wes informed. "Today, I stand as the champion of Kanto."
"Additionally, three of those five fought against Team Rocket with Genesis being responsible for bringing Giovani in." Kiyo crossed his arms. "That may not be enough to make up for what they did under the name of Team Rocket, but it's enough for me to give them a chance."
"If you are going to put any of them away, especially Sabrina, you might as well lock me up to." Arcana looked at the table. "She was capable of making her own choices, but the choice she made was one that didn't need to be offered if I had simply been able to help her."
"I will not hear anyone in this room blaming themselves for events of the past for that gets us nowhere." Wes stated. "We must now look to the future." He looked to the officer. "That said, treat someone like the bad guy, and that's all they'll be.
If enough people treat you like a person again, then a person they can be. James Lewis and I are clear indications of that truth. Now, I want each of you to meet with your people and talk about what's needed for your facilities. Saffron City will rise better than ever."
Saffron Psychic Gym: Morning…
Genesis had a duffle bag slung over his shoulder. It was essentially a sort of care package he'd been giving like the others. It contained some extra changes of clothes, and a little bundle of pokedollars curtesy of Wes. He stared at the relatively intact building with a critical eye.
"When I intervened in the way I did, I didn't think it'd lead to me ending up here." Genesis thought uncertainly.
He had no idea what to make of the situation he found himself in. Just a few short weeks ago, he was a higher up within Team Rocket. Now, he'd betrayed them and gained a family. Even though the memories he had from Red told him what that meant, it still felt foreign.
"I'm a clone, and I know that." Genesis thought. "Even if Red, Delia, Ash, and so on offered me a place with them, I'd never feel welcome. That's Red Ketchum's life, and I guess this is mine. Still, a father and an older sister? It's surreal."
Sabrina had walked out of the gym to see if he'd arrived, and now waved a hand in front of his face when he didn't seem to see her. "Genesis?"
The clone looked at her before nodding. "Sabrina."
"You can call me big sis, you know?" Sabrina questioned.
"I'm aware considering you reminded me every day we were in the hotel." Genesis stated. "Anyways, how are Jessie, Mondo, and Meowth?"
Arcana hadn't adopted those three, but he was already looking after Genesis and Sabrina. With that being the case, and the five of them all being traitors, the psychic specialist and Wes had decided it'd be best to keep them together for the time being.
"They've settled in fine." Sabrina assured. "Dad has them tending to the pokemon with the gym trainers. Speaking of which, you'll probably see them on our walk to meet up with him." She started walking back in. "Come on, dad has a gift he wants to give you."
Sabrina entered the gym while Genesis spared one more look at it. This time, no thoughts came to mind, and he soon entered after his sister. They walked through the gym and saw various gym trainers going about their business.
He also noticed the looks many of them shot primarily Sabrina. That made sense considering she had been a gym leader in addition to her duties as a Rocket Admin. There wasn't a doubt in his mind that the people who'd feel most betrayed by that would be her former gym trainers.
At that moment, Jessie, Meowth, and Mondo came by carrying bowls and bags of psychic type pokemon food. The trio stopped and gave a smile upon seeing Genesis. Despite himself, Genesis couldn't help but give a small smile in return.
"Well, you three seem to have settled in well." Genesis nodded. "In fact, maybe you should just stay here rather than venturing out."
"Fat chance!" Meowth declared. "After seeing what a journey did for Jimmy, the three of us are more than willing to follow Wes along on his."
"Yeah, I want to take on a pokemon league." Mondo declared. "I want to become strong like the trainer that helped James grow the way he did."
"As if I could stay here when there's so many other avenues open to someone like me." Jessie stated. "Plus, these two wouldn't last without me."
"Keep dreaming Jess." Meowth walked on.
"What's that supposed to mean Meowth!?" Jessie questioned with her signature anger before following him. "Get back here!"
Mondo chuckled with a sweat drop. "I should probably keep those two from making a mess." He nodded to Genesis. "See you around!"
For all the uncertainty the familial stuff brought him, everything else made Genesis certain that he'd made the right choice in betraying Team Rocket. Sabrina said nothing, but she did smile happily at the content look on Genesis' face before they moved on.
They entered the gym leader's office where Arcana was waiting. "Ah, hello Genesis." He smiled. "Sorry for not letting you get settled in first, but I know you are currently without a pokemon. That is why I would like to offer you a special pokemon I was given in Galar."
Arcana took out the seventh pokeball he'd brought with him before battling Sabrina. While he obviously couldn't have used it, to him it was a pokemon that needed to be kept out of Team Rocket's hands. At the time, he was the best bet it had at being kept safe.
"What is it?" Genesis questioned curiously.
Honestly, he was just thinking of asking Wes to set him up with whatever pokemon he could for a fresh start. Hearing that this was potentially a pokemon from Galar sounded promising.
"Considering Sabrina has Mewtwo, I think there's no better pokemon for you than a pokemon that has been proven to match that power with the right amount of cultivation." Arcana replied. "Come on out, Kubfu!"
The Wushu pokemon appeared before looking at Genesis as he sized the person before him up.
"Kubfu?" Genesis asked. "If this pokemon can become the same pokemon you used to beat Sabrina's Mewtwo, why didn't you just evolve this one into that and give yourself the best possible chance against her?"
"Simply put, Kubfu wanted to come with me, but I was not the trainer this little guy was looking for." Arcana informed. "My master theorized that this Kubfu was tired of waiting and wanted to get out there to find a worthy trainer instead. In my opinion, you are that trainer."
"Why…" Genesis began.
He was interrupted by Kubfu who lept in an attempt kick his face only for the clone to block the pokemon's powerful kick with one hand coated in aura. The fighting type then landed before trainer and pokemon gave each other firm looks. Eventually, they nodded in understanding.
"Never mind what I was going to ask." Genesis declared. "I'll take him."
"Just as I thought." Arcana smiled. "Take care of him Genesis because this is a very special pokemon to a renowned dojo in Galar." He passed Kubfu's pokeball to the boy. "They're not handed out lightly, but ultimately my master left this one's fate in my hand.
Raise him with diligence, and he'll see you through any battle. If you ever want to evolve him, get plenty of training in and forge a strong bond This is a pokemon with a branched evolution." Arcana explained. "My Urshifu is single strike, but there is also the rapid strike variation."
"I'll be sure to keep that in mind." Genesis nodded. "For now, thank you for this." He then held out his new pokemon's pokeball. "Return Kubfu."
"No need to thank me because you and that pokemon where clearly meant to be together." Arcana clapped him on the shoulder. "Now, you should go with Sabrina. She'll help you settle in."
Saffron City: Two Weeks Later…
A psychic specialist, martial artist, and officer all met up near a section of the city that had been sanctioned to be demolished. They looked on with rather somber expressions as the pokemon lined up at the ready.
"It's sad to think that so much of our city will be vastly different from what we remember." The martial artist declared.
"Yeah, Saffron was what it was ever since I could remember." The psychic specialist agreed. "While buildings have been added, this is on a whole other level."
"I wonder just what all this reconstruction will mean in the end?" The officer questioned.
"Don't look forlorn you three." Kiyo approached with crossed arms and a firm look. "While Saffron may change, the people that lived here remain. While Saffron as a place to call home is nice, it's the people that would have made anywhere we could have gone truly home.
Go, Machamp, Poliwrath, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Primeape." The gym leader's pokemon joined the rest. "Change is an inevitable fact of life, but it's meaning is determined in how we react to it. So, what say you three?"
The new gym leader's words moved the three of them to the point that they cheered and sent out their pokemon just before the demolition of this section began. There was just one, small problem with this new beginning for Saffron City.
One of the houses being demolished, in all the chaos of the prior attack, had a lone pokeball wedged within a rain gutter. The pokemon within has been unable to get out. When the house came down, the pokeball was dislodged, and it rolled on out into the open.
Said pokeball opened as a Rampardos let himself out. His pokeball had been lodged there in the sheer chaos of people, including its trainer who had been aboard Hunter J's airship before flying down to the city, attempting to flee the city. Said pokeball was then shattered by falling debris.
Now that it was free, pokemon gathered around curiously, but this pokemon was enraged at being trapped to the point that he began attacking the surrounding pokemon as he ran off from the demolition zone, with Kiyo none the wiser currently, and into the city.
With Genesis
The clone was walking through the streets with some lumber over his shoulder while Kubfu carried a little more behind him. It wasn't long until the pair heard citizen's panicking. The pair dropped their lumber and ran onto the scene.
There they saw Rampardos was rampaging while people fled, and trainers were battling it with their pokemon. At least, they were trying to as the current trainers didn't seem all that impressive. Genesis concluded they must be travelers passing through.
There were Rattata, Pidgeotto, Butterfree, and a Poliwhirl, who was the heaviest hitter of this group, trying to stop the rampaging pokemon. There wasn't a powerful psychic or fighting type in sight as Rampardos took down pokemon after pokemon.
With the Poliwhirl taking a thunderbolt that knocked it out, the headbutt pokemon had just lost its biggest challenge. While Genesis was certain a stronger trainer would come along, he didn't feel particularly good about leaving this up to them.
"Kubfu, stay back!" Genesis shouted.
The fighting type had been more than ready to meet this challenge head on, but upon hearing his trainer's voice, he stopped. Then, he observed as Genesis ran right into the path of the rampaging fossil pokemon with his aura faintly washing over him.
"Rampardos, calm down!" The rock type did stop and stared at the clone. "I know you're angry and scared; however, rampaging will only exasperate those feelings!" The fossil could feel this trainer's aura and recognized it as a conqueror which did leave him feeling soothed.
"That's right, whatever scared you into this clearly isn't around." He took a calming breath before holding out a hand. "You can take it easy and relax because you're okay now. No one else will try to hurt you." Rampardos bowed his head and gently put it up to the trainer's hand.
"Now, I want to transport you safely to a pokemon center." He took out an empty pokeball which Rampardos recoiled from. "Don't worry. I give you my word that you won't have to stay in the pokeball, but it will keep you safe for now. Please, trust me."
"Ramp…." The rock type stated uncertainly but kept his head bowed.
Genesis touched the pokeball to his head, and the rock type was sucked in before dinging signifying a successful capture. The clone looked up and noticed Wes standing there with one of his pokeballs at the ready. The champion now put it away before nodding to him.
Genesis simply nodded back before walking over to his starter. "Come on Kubfu." Kubfu walked with him while staring at his trainer in amazement. "We got to get Rampardos to Nurse Joy."
Everyone else who was there just stared in amazement at what happened.
Fula Beach: Present, Midday…
Ash arrived back at the beach to see all his pokemon hard at work with James and Serena overseeing them.
When his friend's noticed him, he nodded. "Hey guys."
"Hey Ash, did you and Totodile get some good battles in?" James asked.
"We didn't get a chance to battle." Ash got out his pokedex. "Margo and Torin found me. They said Zeraora wanted to see me because he's been watching me. He ended up apologizing for harming me, and well… just look."
He showed his pokedex which clearly displayed he'd caught Zeraora.
"You caught Zeraora!?" Serena exclaimed.
James just shrugged. "Honestly, I'm not that shocked."
"James, how can you not be?" Serena asked.
"This is Ash we're talking about." James replied. "I've kind of gotten used to the crazy things he can pull off and only assumed it was a matter of time until he caught a mythical or legendary pokemon. With his luck, I assumed it'd happen sooner."
Ash went onto explain everything in more detail before calling in all his pokemon, so that they could officially meet Zeraora. Considering Pikachu had already told them what happened, it was kind of another Scizor situation. After Scizor, some of the pokemon were more welcoming.
Scizor especially since she knew it could be hard, but it was clear he had to prove himself just like her in many of their eyes. Zeraora understood that. Once introductions were done, Zeraora hung around while the other pokemon continued training.
That evening, Zeraora went back to the mountain with plans to send him to Professor Oak eventually, so that the professor could get a chance to study the mythical. The rest adjourned to the hotel where they ate a hardy meal.
Next 11 Days…
The next day, with everyone warmed up from the previous one, Ash decided it was time to get serious and help his pokemon get to that next level. Many of them were amazing in the areas they excelled in, so Ash decided to hone in on what each pokemon lacked.
He hoped to boost them enough to further accentuate their strengths. Pikachu was fast and his electric attacks were strong, so Ash had him hone in on his other moves. Nidoking hadn't switched to a more physical focus, so his training would be focused on physical moves.
Pidgeot was a speedy bird with a great range of well-developed moves, but she was lacked endurance. Charizard had a similar range of good moves with impressive endurance, but he wasn't the fastest. As such, it was obvious these two needed to train together.
Venusaur was an all-around well developed pokemon. When Ash needed him to pull through, he usually did. The main problem was that they had been slacking on utilizing his innate, bulk. To accentuate that, it was time to hone in on being solid.
After all, there were situations where Ash would like to use Venusaur without setting up the sun. Dragonite was a pseudo legendary and massive powerhouse to the team since evolving from Dragonair. His problem were the moves since Dragonite could learn a lot.
Fortunately, Dragonite was surrounded by pokemon that could help him learn. Hitmonchan was a solid attacker with the right moves to make use of his ability, but he was currently a glass canon. That's why his time was focused on defense.
Scizor evolving from Scyther which saw her lose a step-in speed while everything else was generally solid, so she took to regaining that lost speed. Alakazam's evolution from Kadabra was still rather recent, so his time would be spent of figuring out his new strength.
Umbreon was much the same with the addition of expanding his dark type arsenal. Lapras took to training with Serena's Blastoise and Ash's Hisuian Onix giving the younger pokemon a balanced crash course in what she could achieve as a water/ice type.
Onix was content to delve into all aspects of training to improve quickly, and Yamask was eager to join in that training. Rapidash was a beast in speed and her physical attacks weren't rubbish; however, her defenses and special attack needed attention. Then, there was Totodile.
Pokemon Center: Morning…
Ash sat outside the pokemon center gazing out towards the beach where his pokemon have been training for the past 12 days.
"Totodile, finish this with water gun!" Ash commanded.
The water type blasted a trainer's Geodude with water knocking him onto his back with swirls in their eyes.
They've all made a lot of progress, but there was just one problem.
"Dodge and end this with brick break!" Ash instructed.
Totodile danced out of the way of an iron head before hitting home the fighting type move on an Alolan Sandshrew. The ice/style type collapsed.
Totodile wouldn't evolve, and they'd been battling together, manytimes, every day.
"End this with metal claw!" Ash ordered
Totodile rushed forward and slashed metal coated claws into a Jynx fainting her.
While that wouldn't stop Ash from busting him out during the Orange League should he think the Johto starter was needed, he still wanted to help his water type reach that next stage. Honestly, the Pallet Native felt he was so close. He just needed a final push.
"Hey Ash, been a little while." A familiar voice greeted happily,
Ash turned and saw Lock. "Lock, what are you doing here?"
"I was passing by Fula Island and decided to take a break for a few days since there's still time before the Orange League." Lock stated. "You did get all four badges, right?"
"Of course, I did." Ash replied. "Finished getting them about a month ago."
"A month ago?" Lock was shocked. "I just got my last badge not even a week ago." He sighed and shook his head. "If that's not what's got you thinking, why were you concentrating so hard?"
"It's my Totodile." Ash figured he could just not use the water type against Lock. "We've been spending the last eleven days battling everyone on this island to get him to evolve. Now, I feel we're close, but he needs a final push. I'm just not sure where it'll come from."
"How about me?" Lock offered with a smile. "it's not like I can't just use a different pokemon should we fight in the Orange League."
"I'm always up for a battle." Ash smiled. "Let's head on down to the beach."
Beach
"I choose you, Totodile!" Ash declared.
"Frogadier, time to battle!" Lock stated.
The two water starters of separate regions appeared with the shiny Kalos starter ready to battle while the Johto Starter was warming up with his dance moves.
Ash vs Lock
"Totodile, let's show them a spinning aqua jet." Ash ordered.
"Meet them head on with quick attack." Lock commanded.
Totodile did a twirling dance as he was surrounded by water, and the water type took off. As he moved, the water rotated faster and faster around the water starter. Frogadier sped forward meeting it head on only to be knocked away by aqua jet.
"Whoa, I didn't know you're Totodile was that strong." Lock commented impressed.
"It's not exactly strength." Ash commented. "Totodile and I simply figured out a way to give aqua jet a little more power by putting the water in motion around it. As he rushes towards a target, the water spins faster until contact."
"Clever, but let's see if you can keep it up." Lock stated. "Frogadier, use power-up punch."
"Totodile, dodge and strike back with your own power-up punch." Ash ordered.
"Frogadier came in with a fighting infused fist only for Totodile to leap into the air, plant his claws on the bubble frog's arm, and lunge higher into the air as his fist was cloaked in fighting type energy.
"Frogadier, quickly vanish into a smoke screen before striking with cut." Lock instructed.
As Totodile came down, Frogadier released a smoke screen obscuring him. This resulted in the big jaw pokemon hitting nothing. Just as the smokescreen vanished, Frogadier reappeared before Totodile and used cut knocking the dancing pokemon away.
"That was a cool string of moves, but Totodile and I aren't done yet." Ash declared. "Use dig."
"Frogadier, stay vigilant." Lock ordered. "When Totodile pops out, use power-up punch."
"Totodile, come on out and use crunch to latch onto the fist." Ash ordered.
Totodile popped out of the ground about a foot from Frogadier and was launched in a way that he was heading straight for the Kalos water starter. The bubble frog pokemon swung a fighting energy cloaked fist, but he underestimated just how big Totodile's jaws were. The Johto starter bit down on the offending fist causing Frogadier to cry out in pain.
"Frogadier, fling that pokemon off and high into the air!" Lock ordered. "Then, use bounce and couple it with cut."
"Totodile, let yourself be flung and meet them head on with dragon claw." Ash ordered.
Totodile managed to brace himself as he was thrown and gained a little control in the air to angle himself downward as his claws radiated dragon type energy. Frogadier jumped after him with a cut at the ready. The two pokemon clashed powerfully in midair.
Both then fell to the ground, but only one ended up landing on their feet while the other had fainted. The pokemon still standing was Ash's Totodile who was panting. Before anyone could say anything, the Johto starter glowed brilliantly.
Beach
Ash smiled as his pokemon practically doubled in size becoming his mid staged evolution.
Said mid stage, now with a little more energy, danced around as happily as ever. "Croconaw!"
"Totodile evolved into Croconaw!" Ash exclaimed as he got out his pokedex:
Croconaw, the Big Jaw Pokémon, and the evolved form of Totodile. If it loses a fang, a new one grows back in its place. There are always 48 fangs lining its mouth.
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent
Sex: Male
Current Moves: Aqua Jet, Swords Dance, Metal Claw, Water Gun, Dragon Claw, Brick Break, Crunch, Dig, Ice Beam
"We finally did it Croconaw!" Ash exclaimed as he ran forward and hugged his pokemon. "Congratulations!"
Lock just smiled and returned his pokemon. "You gave it your best shot Frogadier, so return and take a nice rest." He then approached Ash. "Your pokemon was pretty strong as a Totodile, so I have no doubt that he's even stronger now."
"Yeah, I'm positive he is." Ash stood and smiled. "We'll likely spend a day or two getting him used to his new body before he takes the break I'm planning to give to all my pokemon. Thanks for this Lock."
"No problem." Lock nodded before seeming uncertain. "Though, do you think you're ready for the Orange League at this point."
"If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you're never truly ready for anything." Ash replied. "You can prepare all you want, but life can still throw you those curve balls that no amount of preparation can let you overcome.
When it comes to the Orange League, I think all any of us can do is believe in what's gotten us to this point to begin with. Sure, losing at any point will sting, but if I give the battles to come my best, I can be content with however I place. Still, I'm planning on heading all the way to Drake."
Lock smiled at that suddenly feeling more assured. "You have a good outlook their Ash." At that moment, Ash's stomach growled. "Apparently, you also have an appetite."
"Yeah, I do." Ash chuckled. "Come on, the others should be up, so you can join us for breakfast." He looked to Croconaw. "Plus, we got to show everyone that you evolved."
"Croc!" Croconaw declared happily.
Let's get the obvious out of the way. Hey everyone, I've officially moved; however, the place that was supposed to be here just wasn't, so I'm staying with my sister. Fact is, it's not my room, not comfortable without my bed, and there's already a lot of people here. Good point is I should be in a place by the third of next month. Hey, I did get this chapter out thanks in large part to Vital Info.
Nothing in here is anything he told me to write about in the meantime, but he's the reason the first half of this chapter exist now. His words allowed me to reevaluate everyone I've given screen time to and made me realize that a select group were left out where it'd have made sense. So, the beginning part of this chapter does take place months back from where we currently are. Hopefully you enjoyed this chapter.
Vital Info: I knew if I was going to right that rival battle as the last battle, no matter the outcome, it had to go hard. When it comes to Rui, we'll just have to see. Hopefully how I handled the battles prior to the main one of this chapter was fine. Only time will tell on Ash, aura, and legends.
Elemental-Aura: yeah, sorry about that. Things were fairly hectic and still kind of are, but I swear this story will have an end eventually.
Chateau Semifinals-
Yeah, I figured they deserved a moment what with how crazy their time in the Orange Islands has been. Thanks for the compliment on the battles. I always felt like the Kalos region had some of the strongest battles we've seen. When it comes to characters, I feel it's important to inject character into what's said as much as possible.
Especially when it comes to Ash because even if I make him smarter than canon, I still want him to feel like Ash should. Of course, I got to slip in the Power of Us characters wherever it makes sense. I mean, we did just go through that movie, and the characters are still on this island. It's just natural.
Chateau Finale-
Again, I had two rivals fighting in the closing match of this important tournament, so taking them to their best felt right. Especially with the journey Serena has taken from that shy girl uncertain of what she wanted to do to the confident trainer she is now. The pokemon picked perfectly represented who she is now. as for who Serena's ace is... honestly, to me, it's a tossup between Machamp and Blastoise for the Kanto region.
Before Ash takes on Drake, he's got to come out on top during the Orange League tournament. At the very least, he's giving it his best. As for the pokemon limit, glad you like how I handled it. I'm just not a fan of a trainer always having more than six Pokémon for battle. Of course, training is an exception. Also, glad you liked the capture.
Guest: Not to worry. Genesis isn't done in this story.
Nightshadegirl (ch 1): Thank you, and you're just going to have to wait.
Nightshadegirl (ch 2): Probably she will.
Nightshadegirl (ch 3): I know, it's a shame there aren't many fanfiction featuring James in a more positive role.
Nightshadegirl (ch 4): When I set out to write this story, there were just some captures I didn't want to give Ash in the spirit of keeping things fresh. As for James catching a grass starter, it is not out of the question.
Nightshadegirl (ch 5): Again, I wanted Ash to be smarter and stronger; however, there was some build up to it. As for James' partner... we'll see.
Nightshadegirl (ch 6): Thank you on your perspective with James and Zubat.
Nightshadegirl (ch 7): I figured adding a little levity at the end would be nice, and yeah Msity becomes a reaccuring character here.
Nightshadegirl (ch 8): Well, Green will still try and thank you on the outfit.
Nightshadegirl (ch 9): James could use a fair shake. Plus, he can befriend pokemon just as well as Ash, is quite smart despite what the pokemon technical episode would lead you to believe, and is quite talented as a trainer considering he won the first ever contest he participated in.
Nightshadegirl (ch 10): You'll see with who RK is and where I'm going with Corss.
