Hamilton - 6 pm

Faith had just got back to the hotel. She had spent the day at the hospital meeting with staff trying to figure out Bill's condition. She felt like she was close to a diagnosis. But she was missing the final piece of the puzzle. She quickly changed into a dress she would wear for dinner. It was her final night in Hamilton and she was meeting Chip for dinner.

Hope Valley - 6 pm

Nathan waited with Bill. It felt like time stood still as he waited. After a few minutes, Lucas came rushing in from the saloon.

"Hey, what can I do to help? Florence just called me. Lee & Joseph are also on their way here." Lucas asked as he walked in.

"Please go to the clinic and see if Molly is there. We need the stretcher so we can move Bill to the clinic." Nathan checked on Bill but he was still unconscious. Lucas quickly left.

A few minutes later Lee and Joseph came. They moved the desk and chairs to the far left wall of the office. So when they moved Bill they could carry him straight out of the building.

"Here we are," Lucas said as he and Ned walked in with the stretcher. They laid the stretcher on the floor and very carefully with Nathan's instruction helped move him onto the stretcher.

A few minutes later Bill was carried to the clinic by Ned, Lee, Joseph, and Lucas. Nathan ran ahead to the clinic to get the bed ready. Once Nathan arrived at the clinic he saw Molly was there.

"Molly, can you help me get the bed ready?" Nathan asked as he came through the door.

"Sure." Molly walked to the bed and quickly prepped the bed so Bill could easily be transferred.

"Thank you. I will be staying the night with him so I can supervise his care. I'm still not sure what happened. His breathing is normal but he still remains unconscious. He may of fell or passed out. Both are extremely dangerous with his other symptoms. I fear his health is worse than we all thought. " Nathan said worriedly.

"I can help," Molly said patting Nathan on the shoulder. Molly was nervous herself. She had feelings for Bill for the past few years. And just recently it felt like both of them were curious to figure out their relationship.

"Thanks. Do we know if Florence was able to get a hold of Faith at her hotel? I would like to know if there is anything we should be watching for tonight." Nathan asked Molly as he moved to the side of the room as they carried Bill into the clinic on the stretcher.

"I will go and find out. I have the contact number here if she needs it. Back in awhile." Molly smiled before leaving the clinic. Having something to do would help her feel less anxious.

"Thank you," Nathan said quickly before helping the men move Bill into the bed.

Thirty minutes later

Molly called the clinic saying they had left a message for Faith at the hotel. She would be heading back after picking up some food at the cafe that Minnie had prepared. People had started gathering outside the clinic holding a prayer vigil for Bill.

Two hours later

The phone ringing startled Nathan. Molly got up from the chair to answer the phone.

"Hello?" Molly answered as she got a pad of paper and pen if any notes needed to be taken. "Yes, Nathan found him. He is here. Yes, one minute. Nathan, Faith would like to talk to you."

"Hello?" Nathan answered.

"Hi, can you please tell me what happened tonight?" Faith asked as she talked on the phone in the hotel lobby.

"Yes, at 6 pm I had gone to Henry's office where Bill is working out of right now. When I walked into the office I found Bill behind the desk on the floor. I don't think he fell and instead passed out. He hasn't regained consciousness since I found him. He doesn't have a temperature and his breathing is normal." Nathan looked over at Bill as he talked on the phone.

"I was worried about this. Will someone be able to stay with him tonight?" Faith asked as she took notes.

"I will be here. And Molly offered to stay as well. Is there anything we should be looking for?" Nathan asked as he grabbed the paper and pen.

"He should become conscious in the next few hours. As long as his breathing remains normal and he doesn't have a temperature he should be ok. When he wakes up he needs to drink a few glasses of water and eat. Food should be eggs and toast to start. Also, he can't be left alone. Thank you, Nathan." Faith replied.

"You are welcome. I just hope he will be ok." Nathan said.

"I will be back in Hope Valley tomorrow. I changed my time and will be there by noon. As soon as I get in I will come to the clinic. Good night." Faith felt relief knowing Bill would be taken care of. But she also felt guilty for not being there.

"Good night and safe travels." Nathan hung up the phone and walked back to his chair.
