Russia 3:00 p.m.
Natalya stood nervously outside her palace. Her brothers had already loaded everything onto their car, and her sisters were right next to her. She had been to many foreign monarchies and had won them all over with her quick wit and charisma. However, that being said, she had never been to a foreign country that hated her parents' guts. It seemed that she had an advantage, though. Recent viewings of American television had shown that the Rogers daughters were big fans of both her singing and modeling career. It might lead to some uncomfortable situations, but if it meant that the plan worked, then she was willing to exploit their obsession.
Just then, her mother, Czarina Yekaterina walked up to them. "How are you girls holding up?" she asked.
Anastasia nodded. "I'm good." The eldest Romanov daughter was wearing a rose pink dress with a gold rope belt. Her chocolate brown hair was put up in a low bun with two strands of hair hanging on the sides of her face. Like Natalya, Anastasia decided to go simple for her shoes, and she was wearing rose pink silk slippers.
Yelena looked around nervously but also nodded. "Yeah. I'm good." Yelena was wearing an aqua green dress with a silver belt. Her blond hair curled and bobbed. Making her look a little bit like Marilyn Monroe. Yelena was wearing fancier shoes. Anastasia's twin was wearing aqua green slippers with a strap that tied at each ankle.
Mom smiled at her. "Don't worry, Leni. Everything will be fine."
"Your majesties?" The Captain of the Royal Guard said. "The preparations for your trip have been made. It is time for you to head to the plane."
"We'll be right there." My Mom called. "Well then, is everyone excited?"
We all nodded.
"Good," our father said. "It'll be easier for you if you are."
We started to walk to the car, and try as I might, I couldn't ignore the pounding of my heart. It was imperative that I win the Rogers family over. The fate of the world just might depend on it.
