So by 'next Friday', I meant in several Fridays. (I guess)

Izuku quickly closed his palms, hoping no one saw the sparks from his hands.

They looked exactly like Kacchan's! Maybe they have similar quirks; So cool!

A very large part of himself was telling Izuku to scream and shout that he and Kacchan had the same quirk; Yet another, smaller, more sensible part of Izuku stopped him. Kacchan just got his quirk, and the fact that he got his moments after, was kind of suspicious. So he kept it to himself, for now.

Ping!

Izuku flinched.

He looked around the playground, searching for the strange noise. His gaze soon led back to Kacchan and his amazing sparks.

Ping!

His hands tingled. The noise seemed closer.

Izuku looked at the other children. They didn't notice the sound. In fact, the sound repeated.

Ping! Ping! Ping! Ping! Ping! Ping! Ping!

Izuku head turned wildly, for now the noise was too close. Almost as if it was echoing in his head. A tap on his shoulder startled him from his unease.

"Oi! What the hell are you doing, Izuku? You look so weird; What, shaking off a fly?", Kacchan teased.

The second Izuku looked at the blond, his eyes wandered down to his hands.

Ping!

"Do you hear that, Kacchan?"

Kacchan tilted his head, listening. "Nah, I don't hear anything."

"I keep hearing this-this thing. Like, 'ping!'"

"Well, I'm not hearing anything. Are you sure you're not hearing things? All those video games must be getting to your head," Kacchan rapped his knuckles against Izuku's forehead. "Yup, sounds hollow to me!"

Izuku swatted the older boy's hand, squawking indignantly.

The greenette grabbed the other's hand, and everything flashed.

Neon blues, and pinks, and yellows and greens, black, and white, and gray. It looked like the grainy pixel noise from when his game consoles overheated. Like a glitch. The colors faded out, leaving a blank white background.

A blue screen manifested in the white.

Sparks (upgrade to get ?):

Would like to have this quirk?

{YES} {NO}

Izuku stared at the screen.

WHAT IS THIS?!1!?1!?1?!

"Uh.. Yes?", he spoke.

The screen blinked out. Another one replaced it.

{Learn & Copy} {Take} {Leave}

Izuku put his hand up to his chin.

'What should I do?', he thought. 'If I copy it, would I get the sparks, or the upgraded version? If I take it, will Kacchan lose it forever?'

Izuku opened his mouth.

'But what if I...'

"Take."

The first thing Izuku heard when he came to reality, was the sound of little girls being attacked by geese while being chased by serial killer.

Oh. Wait. No, that was just Kacchan screaming.

Wait why is he screaming?

The teacher's and other children had crowded the two boys, and were whisper- I mean screaming as well.

"Katsuki! What's wrong?"

One on the kids pointed at their joined hands. "Look!"

Izuku looked as well as the others. Kacchan's arm had orange sparks running down it, meeting the clasped hands, and turning green as the sparks crawled up Izuku's arm, and sinking in.

Kacchan tried pulling his hand from Izuku's, but to no avail. Izuku had an iron grip on him and he couldn't get free. Izuku pulled away, looking around.

"Sorry. Did that hurt?", he asked, shuffling his feet.

Kacchan rubbed at his hand and wrist. "No- I mean not really, it didn't. Just shocked me 's all."

"Then why did you scream like that?"

Kacchan looked away. "Who wouldn't scream! Your eyes just rolled alllll the way back, and you wouldn't let go! Your hands are cold, y'know; Like a zombie.."

"Oh. Sorry Kacchan."

"You should be, dumb Izuku! Almost gave me a friggin' heart attack.."

"Sorry..."

Kacchan turned on his heel, and walked back to his sandbox.

The crowd separated, aside for a couple kids.

"Hey, Thief-doriya!"

When Izuku approached the child, he lowered his voice. "I know what you did."

"What did I do?"

"YOU STOLE HIS QUIRK."

The child's voice rose.

Izuku stared. And stared. And stared. And stared. And stared. And finally:

Ping!

As soon as he heard the sound, he grabbed the other boy. His eyes rolled back, and his grip tightened, hand turning cold to the touch. The pixel noise came back.

Magnetism (upgrade to get ?):

Would you like to have this quirk?

"Yes."

{Learn & Copy} {Take} {Leave}

"Take."

Izuku's eyes rolled back forward, and the same thing was happening. Except, instead of orange sparkles, there was burgundy waves. The child was immediately terrified and tried to take his wrist back. The red shine on his skin disappeared. His hair drooped.

The boy trembled, stared down at his hands in shock. "W-what? N-no.." He looked back to Izuku. "GIVE IT BACK! RIGHT NOW!"

He grabbed Izuku by his collar and shook him desperately. Izuku held his wrist, and the child froze.

"Don't be scared. I just need you to come with me for a second..." He nodded towards the patch of woods behind the playground.

The other child let him go, and followed him through the bushes. They stood in silence, Izuku watching as the other grew more and more fearfully in his presence.

"I can give it back."

The other flinched. "Give it back, Thie-Midoriya."

"BUT! You have to promise to not be mean to anyone ever again!"

"I promise, I promise, now give it back!"

And he did. But instead of reaching for his hand or wrist, Izuku grabbed his face.

The feeling of something leaving him was strange, but it was just the right thing to do.

The boy ran as soon as he felt his quirk was back.

A rustle.

Izuku turned, thinking the boy came back for a fight, but came face-to-face with Kacchan.

"H-how long have you been standing there?"

Kacchan crossed his arms. "Long enough moron."
