Daisy grabbed onto Luigi's arm and whispered to him when he turned to her "Calm down, you'll lose control if you don't. I can handle this."
Luigi stepped back, even though he didn't want to, and tried to calm down.
Once Daisy was sure that Luigi was calm enough, she turned to the lanky man and said "First of all eww, don't ever do that shit with your eyebrows again." The man in purple looked at her in disbelieve, but Daisy continued: "Second of all, that's no way to speak to a lady you just met, don't you have any manners?"
"I-" the man tried to say, but Daisy didn't let him.
"I wasn't done." Daisy quickly said. "Third of all, you don't get to come into my house and belittle my friends." she said. After that Daisy composed herself and finished off with saying "And lastly, I am not interested, I have standards."
Mario and the man dressed in yellow burst out in laughter, while Luigi was still calming himself down. The man in purple looked annoyed with Daisy.
"I like her already." the muscular one said in-between laughter.
The skinny one turned to the muscular one and said "You're my brother you're supposed to be on my side."
"Jeez, Waluigi, we've never agreed on anything ever, what makes you think we'll do now?" the man in yellow answered.
Waluigi? That name sounds like a weird version of Luigi. Daisy thought.
"But Wario-" Waluigi started, but Wario interrupted him.
"No buts, you we're being an ass as usual." Wario said while rolling his eyes.
Wario? That sounds a lot like Mario? I'm so confused. Daisy thought while appearing confused.
Wario turned to Daisy and said "I'm apologizing in advance for anything my excuse of a brother says." at the same time Marco, Louise and a woman entered the room.
"Hey!" Waluigi yelled while turning to Wario.
"Didn't I tell you to be on your best behavior?" an unknown woman that entered along with Marco and Louise asked Waluigi.
Waluigi grumbled and said "Whatever, mom."
"So disrespectful." his mother scolded.
"Why can't you just get along with your own cousins?" Marco asked while looking at Waluigi.
Waluigi chuckled weirdly and asked sarcastically "Who can?"
Mario and Wario rolled their eyes in response. Daisy put her hands on her hips and looked questionably at Waluigi.
"You're the one who doesn't get along with anyone because you're a rude, self-centered piece of shit that turns into the biggest stronzo when something doesn't go your way." Luigi spat, still being angry from the comment Waluigi made about his girlfriend.
"That about sums it up." Wario said, having his younger cousin's back.
That's the first time Louise didn't complain about the "bad language" Luigi used. Daisy thought questionably.
"When did you grow balls, eh?" Waluigi asked Luigi annoyed.
Daisy noticed that Luigi grew tense and reached out for his hand. She intertwined their hands and rubbed her thumb over Luigi's palm, trying to ease him a bit.
"Just because I never felt the need to speak up about it doesn't mean that it isn't true." Luigi responded as calmly as he could.
"Oh really?" Waluigi challenged.
"Everybody thinks so, because that's just how you are." Mario added.
"What did I ever do wrong with that one?" their mother asked.
"Nothing." Marco said.
"It's not your fault, Angela." Louise said.
"I'm right here!" Waluigi said annoyed.
"Tra tutti, perché proprio lui?" Luigi whispered, only loud enough for Daisy to hear.
Daisy looked Luigi in the eyes and raised an eyebrow. "Eh?" she asked.
"I'll explain later." Luigi answered her.
"Now if Waluigi is done being rude." Wario started with a "Hey!" being followed right after by Waluigi. Wario turned to Daisy and said "I'm Wario, Mario and Luigi's older cousin, nice to meet you."
"I'm Daisy, nice to meet you too." Daisy responded with a smile.
"I'm Waluigi." Waluigi grumbled.
Daisy gave him a weird look and returned her attention to Luigi, who was still trying to stay in control.
"You good?" she asked.
"I will be when he's gone." Luigi answered side eyeing Waluigi.
"We all have powers and are supossed to stay here, cuz, it's dangerous out there." Wario responded while Waluigi scoffed.
"Please try to be nice, Waluigi, for once in your life." Angela spoke. Then she turned to Daisy and said "My apologies. I'm Angela, their mother and Louise's older sister, you're Daisy?"
"Yes m'am." Daisy replied.
"Who are your parents?" Angela asked.
"That's Riches daughter." Marco filled in.
"The king- Oh my, your highness, I'm sorry for not addressing you correctly, I-" Angela started but Daisy interrupted her.
"Don't worry, just Daisy is fine." Daisy said.
"I don't think I can do that, princess will do." Angela answered as politely as possible. Then she turned to Wario and Waluigi and said "È meglio che voi due siate rispettosi nei suoi confronti e che vi rivolgiate a lei con il suo titolo regale, capito?"
"Sì." Wario and Waluigi replied.
"My apologies for interrupting but the king send me to come and collect Marco, Louise and Angela." a guard who walked into the room said.
The three did as the guard asked them and followed him.
What was that in Italian about? Daisy thought.
About respecting you and addressing you by your royal title. Luigi somehow mindlinked Daisy.
Daisy turned to face Luigi and mindlinked How did we do that? I didn't think we could mindlink each other already, let alone know how.
I'm not surprised, we're both very talented people. Luigi mindlinked back.
Daisy put her hand on her hip and said "I'm giving you way too much of my confidence."
"Where did that remark come from?" Mario asked confused while Wario and Waluigi also looked confused at the couple.
"Secret." Luigi answered before Daisy could say anything.
"Whatever, I don't need to know your dirty secrets with your girlfriend." Mario responded, annoyed by his brother.
"Girlfriend?" Wario asked.
"I thought you were gay?" Waluigi asked.
Luigi shot Waluigi a dirty look and Daisy snorted.
"Luigi? Gay?" Daisy asked while bursting out in laughter "Your gaydar is off, man. I could hook you up with Peasley if that means that you're gonna act respectful."
Mario, Wario and Luigi burst out in laughter after what Daisy said, while Waluigi gave her a disgusted look.
"Do I seem gay to you?" Waluigi asked annoyed.
"At least bi." Daisy answered.
"I-" Waluigi said, not knowing what to say.
"Don't knock it till you try it." Daisy said.
Waluigi huffed a few times and still didn't know what to say. "I'm leaving, none of you are worth my time." he said while leaving the room.
"You sounded like you were talking from experience, Sarasa, care to elaborate?" Mario challenged.
"What's wrong with experimenting?" Daisy replied coolly.
"Hold on- You've been with girls?" Mario asked surprised.
"Is that really a surprise?" Hayes asked while entering the room "Daisy's radiance basically screams lesbian half the time."
"Do I?" Daisy asked.
"The whole sports and I will beat your ass at any time are kind of a give away." Hayes responded.
Daisy felt a spike of jealousy, but the feeling wasn't coming from her.
"Are you seriously feeling jealous right now?" Daisy asked while turning to Luigi.
"I just realized that I have to swat both men and women away from you." Luigi grumbled.
Mario, Wario and Hayes started laughing while Daisy shot Luigi a "u serious" look.
"So, I just got here, fill me in." Wario said "At least I'll know some things before the other newbies."
"Have other people arrived yet?" Daisy asked him.
"I don't know to be honest, we arrived here while Mario was here and my mom just went off with Uncle Marco and Aunt Louise." Wario said "Soon after Waluigi started being his asshole self and a couple of minutes later you two walked in."
"I didn't see anyone around our age that didn't seem familiar to me yet." Mario added.
"So it's just us, my family and Peasley at the moment?" Daisy asked.
"It seems that way." Luigi replied.
"Alright who's gonna fill me in?" Wario asked.
"I have to go and see if other people have arrived, it's kind of tradition for the royals to meet their guests as soon as possible if they've arrived." Daisy explained.
"No problem, princess." Wario answered.
"Call me Daisy." Daisy said.
"Sure thing." Wario responded.
"I'll fill you in, cuz." Mario assured.
"We'll see you around." Luigi said while following Daisy out of the room.
"Lou?" Daisy asked while they were roaming the castle.
"Yes?" Luigi answered.
"You did very well." Daisy stated.
Luigi didn't quiet catch what she meant by that. "What do you mean?" he asked.
"Controlling your emotions, even though the bond was hightened." Daisy said.
"Oh." Luigi simply said. "What do you mean by hightened?" he asked in return.
"Don't you feel it? The bond is way stronger than before." Daisy explained "I can feel both of our emotions being at a peak and we somehow managed to mindlink each other without even knowing how to do so."
"You never cease to amaze me with how smart you are, Daisy." Luigi replied.
Daisy snorted and responded "You're probably the first and only person to ever say so."
"Just because school isn't your thing doesn't mean that you're not smart." Luigi stated.
"Still, you're the only person to ever say so." Daisy answered.
Luigi grabbed Daisy by the shoulder and pulled her closer to him. "I'm the only person you need validation from, fuck everyone else." he joked.
Daisy giggled and said "You goofball."
They came to a halt when they saw people divided in groups in one of the big foyers of the castle.
"See anyone you recognize?" Luigi asked. "Except from your family of course." he added, knowing that Daisy would give him a sarcastic answer like that.
"Lemme see." Daisy said while scanning the room. "Just some asshole princes that I've met before, I don't want to talk to them." she said, her eyes still looking over the room.
Luigi could already feel anger towards the princes after his lovely princess said what she said. Contain yourself. Luigi thought. He was pulled out of thoughts when Daisy interlaced their hands. He turned to face Daisy, who was staring right up to him.
"They're just stuck-up, rich brats in general, Weeg. They threat anyone who isn't royal or of a higher title like the dirt on their shoes." Daisy assured him.
"Sounds like a jolly bunch." Luigi replied sarcastically, making Daisy giggle in response.
"They really are, so jolly their heads might fall off from holding it so high." Daisy responded.
Luigi pulled Daisy closer to him and gave her a kiss on her head. "You wanne go down?" Luigi asked, considering that they were standing at the top of the stairs of the foyer, overlooking the people in the room.
Daisy scanned the room once again and said "Let's go to Mona, she's talking to some new people. That way we can join in subtely."
"Alright, let's go." Luigi said, leading the way while linking their arms together.
After they descended the stairs, the walk to where Mona is standing was short.
"Hi Moons, mingling already I see." Daisy said, casually joining the group with Luigi by her side.
"Hi Daize, you seem very radiant today, the both of you, actually." Mona said while smirking, eyeing the couple knowingly about what her younger cousin planned on doing last night.
Daisy ignored the comment while Luigi turned a light shade of pink. "Of course we're radiant, as always." Daisy challenged. "Why don't you introduce us to your new friends?" she added quickly.
Sure cuz, just change the subject, we'll talk about this at some point. Mona thought amused to herself. "Sure, this is Yoshi." Mona said while pointing at a guy with green hair. "Funny enough he isn't one of the Yoshi dino's, but he dyed his hair just to humor it. He somehow managed to be able to breath fire, so that's why he's here." she added.
"Sup, nice to meet you." Yoshi said.
Mona looked at a boy with long, blond hair and said "This is Link, his powers are superstrenght and superspeed."
"I also know how to use a sword." Link added shyly.
"So does Peasley, have you met him yet?" Daisy chimed in.
"I'm afraid I haven't." Link replied quietly.
"I didn't even think about that yet." Mona said "Anyways, that's for later, this is Princess Zelda of Hyrule, she can do all kinds of magical shit."
"Kind of a wizard, yes." Zelda added softly.
"Cool, also like Peasley." Luigi replied before realizing that another princess was standing in front of him that wasn't his girlfriend with whom he could just be casual. Luigi quickly bowed and said "Apologies your highness, nice to meet you."
Daisy mimicked her boyfriends actions and said "Same goes for me, nice to meet you all, I'm Daisy and this goof next to me is Luigi."
Luigi side eyed Daisy but said nothing of her remark.
Zelda bowed in response and said "I'll also bow for a fellow princess."
"How did you-" Daisy started, but was cut off.
"Word travels far about the young princess who doesn't like titles and can easly beat up her two brothers twice the size of her." Zelda cut in with a soft smile.
"Then you'll know that just Daisy is preferred." Daisy replied with a cheap smile, making Zelda giggle in response.
Yoshi laughed and said "I don't know how I didn't realize earlier, you all look alike so much, especially those blue eyes should've been a giveaway." He then bowed and said "Nice to meet you, just Daisy and Luigi."
Luigi chuckled while Daisy rolled her eyes. "Aren't you funny." she sarcastically remarked.
Link bowed and spoke quietly "It's a pleasure to meet you both."
After some small talk between the six of them, Daisy turned to Mona and asked "Do you know how many "students" will be joining us?"
"I've got no clue, most people didn't want to risk being with so many of us at the same place, even though the castle is considered one of the most safe places around." Mona answered unsure.
Daisy looked around and saw most "students" standing with their parents or divided in small groups. She spotted Waluigi standing with his mother, uncle and aunt, looking like he'd rather be somewhere else. She also spotted a girl with long blonde hair, standing alone in a corner of the room.
Looks like she's avoiding contact with everyone. Daisy thought. Or maybe she's just shy.
Probably the latter. Luigi mindlinked, knowing what it's like to be shy, even though he's gotten better at being less shy over the years.
Daisy saw that Luigi was now also looking at the unknown girl dressed in blue. We need to figure out how to control this mindlinking thing. Daisy mindlinked Luigi. I thought I was thinking in my own head.
Luigi chuckled while Daisy rolled her eyes.
"What's so funny eh?" Yoshi remarked "Neither of you were speaking."
"You two were mindlinking, no?" Zelda asked.
"I never knew you two were mindlinkers?" Mona said surprised.
"Well, we're not really." Luigi answered.
"Eh?" Mona asked.
"If I'm not mistaken I can feel a mate bond radiating from the two of you." Zelda said "Which is weird because there hasn't been a mate bond in decades."
"You're not wrong." Daisy replied.
Zelda smiled brightly and said "That's so cute."
"What's a mate bond?" Yoshi asked.
"Two people whose souls are connected and it basically makes the two of them horny all the time." Mona responded.
"Don't you think about anything else?" Daisy asked while Luigi blushed a light shade of pink.
"Apparently not, I need to get laid." Mona remarked, to which Daisy rolled her eyes.
"The two souls are connected for life, through love, feelings and thoughts, which is why they can mindlink each other." Zelda chimed in "They also make each others powers stronger and are at their strongest together."
"Cool, like a powered up relationship." Yoshi replied coolly, making the group laugh.
"I never looked at it like that, that shit funny." Mona said.
Daisy looked back to the girl standing alone in the corner. "We were, well I was accidentally mindlinking about the girl over there, she seems kinda too shy to join a group."
Their heads turned towards the girl, who weirdly enough didn't notice a whole group staring at her. "She does seem lonely." Mona said.
"I'll go speak to her, ease her up into maybe joining our group." Daisy said.
"She might be too shy for that." Luigi said.
"O-Overcoming being shy means stepping out of your comfort zone. She might not realize it, but it will do her good." Link said, which was probably the most he said the whole time Daisy and Luigi have been talking to the group.
"That's true." Luigi added.
"See you guys in a bit, if we go with more than one then she might not be comfortable yet, but I'll bring her over here, don't worry." Daisy said.
Luigi kissed the palm of Daisy's hand, which he had been holding the whole time and said "Don't be gone too long."
"Don't miss me too much." Daisy said mockingly in return before walking towards the lonely girl, the others soon continueing their chat.
As Daisy got closer to the girl she thought Damn she tall. When Daisy was about 2 meters away from her, she noticed Daisy but looked down and pretended that she didn't, but this didn't stop Daisy in her pace. "Hi, I'm Daisy." she said.
The girl in blue averted her eyes from her feet to Daisy's face. "H-Hello, nice to meet you, I'm Princess Rosalina from the galaxy." she spoke softly.
Daisy bowed and said "Pleasure to meet you."
Rosalina smiled and said "N-no need for formalities, w-we're both princesses there's no need."
Daisy huffed and said "Why does everyone know I'm a princess, even someone from the galaxy, which sounds so cool by the way."
Rosalina laughed quietly at the change of Daisy's mood in just one sentence from annoyed to overly excited. "I-it's kind of hard to miss when your face, along with your brothers, is plastered on the wall over there." Rosalina said while pointing at a picture of the three siblings.
Daisy followed to where Rosalina was pointing and said in a sarcastic tone "That might just have a teeny weeny bit to do with it."
Rosalina laughed at Daisy's sarcasm and asked "Just a tiny bit?"
"Yes." Daisy responded confidently, making Rosalina giggle in response.
This is the first time I've gotten along with someone so fast and been able to form full sentences without stuttering quickly, Daisy does have that kind of charisma surrounding her. Rosalina thought Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to come here after all.
I think I've eased her up enough Daisy thought. "You want to come with me and join the group I was talking to just now?" she asked.
I spoke too soon Rosalina thought after hearing what Daisy asked.
"I've just met three of them too, so I don't really know them yet either." Daisy reassured.
"What about the other two?" Rosalina asked, still not sure.
"My cousin and boyfriend, don't worry they're friendly too." Daisy said. Seeing that Rosalina still looked unsure about the whole thing she added "I thought it might be easier for you to join us when you've already met me, you're shy, not really good in groups, right?"
She's reading me like a book Rosalina thought. "Um, yes, kinda." she responded.
"The boy with the blonde hair, Link, he's the exact same way. I just met him and can tell the same, but he told me right before I left to come get you that it's good to step out of your comfort zone, it'll help with your shyness." Daisy started "The tall, handsome, one with brown hair, Luigi, he used to be really shy too, so they understand, they won't judge you and neither will I."
Rosalina giggled and said "I'm guessing the "tall handsome one" is your boyfriend?"
"Correct." Daisy answered while averting her eyes to Luigi, smiling brightly.
Rosalina took a deep breath and said "Alright, I'll come with you, b-but you go first!"
Daisy chuckled and took Rosalina's hand. "You're funny when you're nervous." Daisy said, after which she dragged Rosalina to the group of new friends.
"Hi guys, I'm back with a new friend." Daisy said while joining the group inbetween her boyfriend and her cousin.
Everyone eyed Rosalina but she didn't say anything. Seeing her struggle, Daisy decided to introduce her. "This is princess Rosalina of the galaxy." she said.
"I'm Luigi, nice to meet you." Luigi said while bowing.
"N-no need for bowing." Rosalina said quickly before anyone else could introduce themselves.
"She does speak." Mona said teasingly, making Rosalina blush.
"Mona, stop." Daisy said sternly.
Mona looked at Rosalina and said "I'm just teasing ya girl, didn't mean anything bad by it. I'm Mona, not a princess of anything."
Rosalina's blush slightly faded when the rest of the group introduced themselves and soon they fell into conversation again.
Mario, Wario and Peach entered the foyer where everyone else was.
"Damn that's a lot of people." Wario said.
Mario looked around the room and asked his cousin "You think that's a lot?"
Wario and Peach looked at Mario with a confused look.
"What?" Mario asked confused.
"Oh, I forgot, you haven't known long enough about having your powers, which probably means that you don't know that there aren't a lot of people left with powers." Peach said.
"Also most of those people are too afraid to be seen at one place, which is why this is considered a lot." Wario added.
Mario grumbled and said "Great, I'm gonna have to do a lot of catching up with those classes."
Peach giggled in response and Wario asked "Over there are your brother and his girl, are we going to join their group?"
Mario and Peach looked towards the group. "Sure." Mario answered.
"Let's go, I haven't been mingling enough, which is expected of a princess." Peach said.
The three of them walked towards the group and joined in, introducing themselves and being introduced to the new faces around them.
"I'm so happy to have some normal princesses around." Peach said excitedly while eyeing her cousin.
"Shut up, you love me." Daisy responded while flicking her hair, making the group laugh.
"I'm never around other princesses, so this change will be good I hope." Zelda said with a smile.
"I-I'm never really around anyone, space is kinda lonely." Rosalina admitted quietly.
Daisy put her hand on Rosalina's arm and joked "When you've been in this castle long enough, you're gonna wish you'd had some peace and quiet."
Rosalina chuckled and mumbled a thanks to Daisy.
"I never asked you what your power was?" Daisy asked Rosalina.
"It's old school magic, which is why I have a wand." Rosalina said while pulling out her wand "The wand helps me control the magic better."
"Cool!" Mona said.
"So many people in this group can do magic, I thought it was rare." Daisy remarked.
A loud noise of a lot of glass chattering made the whole room alert. The group looked at where the noise was coming from.
"N-no way." Peach said somewhat terrified.
