Hey everyone this chapter would have been out much sooner if past me hadn't been a goddamn idiot and only worked on it for two days last week. Again this was a case of me sleeping in and missing the chance to take my medicine because I stayed up late multiple times playing Minecraft Hypixel skyblock, grinding Skywars, and Bedwars as well as a survival Minecraft world.

Hell, I also suffered from lack of motivation to even write this chapter in some areas because my mind kept wandering to events I want in the next chapter, arc 2, as well as things in future arcs.

I have so many plans but I know many of you wouldn't want me to spoil them. And just so we are clear, any time this story changes perspective to Issei, it's either; for the sake of a badass entrance, it involves something critical to the plot, or its an important plot point of the arc that Issei is part of meaning in Natural side arcs, Issei won't be present and in Natural - Supernatural arcs, it won't change to Issei's perspective unless he is actively involved with the plot.

Like I said in the previous chapter, this story is going to have a formula similar to the Raildex series. Meaning there will be multiple protagonists. For example, Godzilla is basically this story's equivalent to Accelerator (in the sense that he is the strongest being on the natural side just like how Accelerator is the strongest on the science side and they both gain knowledge of the magic side but cannot use it to the same degree as those on the side that magic is prevalent), Issei is this story's equivalent to Touma/Hamazura, etc. Well, "equivalent" may not be the right word to use in this context considering how vastly different they are but the point still stands.

Also I've decided to change how Godzilla makes use of magic going forward. He will really only be good at the more physical and offensive capabilities such as enhancement, basic illusions, and transformation. That's about it, after all, Monsterverse big G prefers fighting up close so he would obviously focus on training his physical combat capabilities over his magical ones. Don't worry, some of the magic he does in future arcs will be a kind of magic that only he can really do but that won't start happening until the second half of arc 3.

Also just a heads up, this chapter will be dialogue heavy and won't necessarily have a lot of action. I'm also going to post an updated version of my future arc plans as a separate chapter.

Last day and Aftermath

Yasaka Shrine –

Gojira opens his eyes, and finds himself laying on the grass near the pond's edge. Why was he laying on the ground? Did he somehow fall asleep the previous night? Impossible, he was barely tired from his fight. Was it perhaps the serpent boy's Sacred Gear that caused him to unknowingly fall asleep? Did he somehow expel too much energy some way?

As he gets up, Gojira thinks back to the events from the previous night. The Last thing he remembered was using his Senjutsu to search for the others. But afterwards he doesn't remember a thing.

'What could have caused this?' He thought to himself as he looked up at the sky. It was still dark out, but he knew that several hours had passed and it was early in the morning. As he thinks to himself, he notices a familiar scent nearby and hears the sound of someone approaching.

Turning around, he sees someone extremely familiar. It was the Kitsune that had helped teach him magic the other day.

"I didn't expect to find you here Gojira-sama." Haruko said to him in a calm voice. "May I ask why you decided to come to this garden?"

"I entered this place last night so I could concentrate. But after something had caused me to fall asleep at some point. I cannot remember when." Gojira answered before suddenly noticing something. He was much calmer than he should be, his mind was far more relaxed than normal. He then noticed that the air around the garden gave off a calm pleasant feeling. "What is this place? Why does the air feel so strange?"

"The magic flowers in this garden release a pheromone that produces a calming effect through synesthesia. That's why this garden is a favored place for meditation." Haruko politely answered.

"Synesthesia? What is that? And how did it cause me to fall asleep?" Gojira asked in confusion.

"Synesthesia is when stimulation of one sense causes an involuntary experience in the other senses. The pheremones released by the flowers become far more potent at night which is what likely caused you to become drowsy and fall asleep."

"I see," Gojira approaches the nearby pond and dips his hand in it for a moment. The cold water from the pond managed to partially return his mind to normal. It had been too long since he had been able to properly soak in water and relax. His muscles still felt a little tight and needed to be loosened so he can think of what he will do going forward. Standing up, he turns back to Haruko. "Where can I find a body of water for me to relax my muscles in?"

"If you wish to soak in the Hot springs, I can lead you to the bath house if you'd like." Haruko suggested.

"Very well, show me where it is." Gojira responded as he approached the kitsune.

"As you wish Gojira-sama." Haruko bowed before turning around and walking off towards the bath house with Gojira following closely behind. "So you are aware, after entering the bath house you should remove your clothing and wash yourself off before entering the hot spring."

Gojira listened to what she said and concluded that it did make sense for him to remove his clothing similar to when he was washed after he entered the youkai's hidden nest.

After a brief minute of walking, they stopped at the entrance to a building that Gojira guessed was most likely the bath house before Haruko turned around and briefly bowed her head to him.

"Here is the bath house Gojira-sama. The entrance to the hot spring is inside." Haruko told him before walking off.

Gojira then entered the bathhouse where he saw two different entrances that had a cloth hanging over each, one was light red, while the other was dark blue. Each cloth had strange markings on them that confused him. The kitsune who led him here had told him that the entrance to the hot spring was inside the bath house but she never mentioned two entrances.

After almost two minutes of looking back and forth at the two entrances, Gojira decided to pick a random one and went inside.

As he entered he found a room with many baskets, most likely for storing clothing in. Removing his current outfit with his spines and tail would be too difficult so he temporarily de-materialized them in order to remove his clothing.

Once his outfit had finally been removed, he re-materialized his spines and tail before putting away his outfit in one of the baskets before placing it up on the shelf before traveling further and entering a room with several stools and weird tubs with large ends that had holes in them.

Gojira remembered that the kitsune said that he was supposed to wash himself off before getting in the hotspring. The strange tubes must be some kind of tool that allows one to wash themselves. He then approached one and pulled it out of the strange claw it was attached to and held it over himself.

'How does this work?'

Gojira looked around and noticed a strange, silver shell that was attached to a large circular shell. As he grabbed it, he noticed that it was loose, and could be turned. After he turned it to the point where it stopped turning, he noticed that water had started to spray out from the tool in his hand.

He held it up over himself and allowed the water to run down his body. After almost a minute he lowered it and turned the shell back to its original position before placing the end of the tube back into the claw. He then continued his path until he found an opening that led to a large pond surrounded by wooden walls. As steam rose from the water he looked up to see that he was outside. He sensed that there was some form of magic barrier around the hot spring.

Gojira decided to ignore it and approached the water before stepping in. It was certainly warm, and he could feel his muscles loosen as he leaned his body forward and stretched it out like a crocodile before making his way to one of the edges where he could rest his limbs on the rocky surface below the water.

*Later*

Shortly after waking up, Kunou had told Yasaka about what she had learned during the past few days from Gojira. She needed time to process what she had learned from Kunou and since she had a few hours before she was going to go see off Azazel and the devils of the Gremory family, she decided to relax in the hotspring.

As she was walking Yasaka began to contemplate what Kunou told her about Mosura. Apparently Gojira had said that Mosura was capable of reincarnating herself through her offspring, inheriting the memories and experiences of every previous Mosura. She finally understood what Mosura had told her just before her death. Given how Mosura was able to speak inside her head during their fight with Ghidorah, she most likely had some form of telepathy, which would explain how she can pass down memories and experiences.

Speaking of Ghidorah, none of the information she learned had stressed her out more than what she learned about him. He was something that didn't belong to the natural or the supernatural, an existence from beyond the planet, a being that fell from the stars. It didn't help her that she had also been told that Gojira regards the alien dragon as a living extinction event and given what it could do and how easily it toyed with her, she was inclined to agree. The thought that she fought something that powerful, something that evil, and survived made her not only feel incredibly fortunate, but also terrified. If he really came from the stars, there could be a very real possibility that there are more of his kind out there in the universe, and it's not out of the realm of probability that he wasn't even the strongest of his kind. That thought had terrified Yasaka. She could only pray that she won't be haunted by nightmares for the next several days.

As she finally reached the bath house she quickly walked into the building before entering the changing room and removing her clothes. She then wash herself off before grabbing a towel and entering the hot spring.

After entering the hot spring she walked up to the water and lowered her body into it before walking over to a spot near the edge of the springs. Reaching the edge, she sat down on the rocky extrusion and relaxed her body as her muscles began to loosen. As she begins to relax, she thinks back to the events after Ghidorah's death.

In the weeks following the event, she had been hounded by the various factions of the supernatural for exposing herself to the humans but in the end she felt like she made the right choice. She had received numerous reports from the various factions, investigating the various titans to determine whether they belonged to the supernatural or not. To say the supernatural were shocked that every single one of them belonged to the natural world, would be a massive understatement.

To them, the idea that the natural world had many creatures who were around the same level as the dragon kings and even surpassed them, was incredibly alarming to them. Not to mention that several individuals were upset by the names Monarch had given the titans. More specifically, the titans that were named after Gods, or various legendary creatures. Thankfully, the titan's that were named after Gods, were given names from gods that didn't really have a problem with it due to basically getting free followers thanks to them.

Although the same cannot be said for others, the Greek faction, specifically Zeus, really wanted to destroy several of them, or seal all of them away. However, as they saw how the natural world's titans were improving the world's environment and ecosystem, they begrudgingly decided to let them be. He even later found it hilarious how despite one of the titans being named Titanus Typhon, the one the humans were calling "The King of The Monsters", was Gojira. The Typhon of the supernatural side didn't find it very amusing when he learned about it, but considering that the other titans bowed to him as a king he decided to let Gojira be the Natural side's King of The Monsters.

When they investigated Titanus Yamata-no-Orochi to determine if it had any relation to its supernatural counterpart, they found out that it was less like the 8 headed serpent they were familiar with and more like a monitor lizard that had a much more slender body, and longer neck. Apparently seven of its "heads", weren't actual heads, they were more like some kind of tendrils that only look like additional heads for intimidation. In fact, they discovered that while its venom is definitely very lethal, it's far from being as venomous as its supernatural counterpart. The supernatural community had also been relieved when they learned that it also didn't share the same disposition its supernatural counterpart had either.

When the humans formed Monarch and began actively studying the titans to learn about them. A majority of the supernatural had decided to let the humans do the work of fully studying them so they can focus more on the Khaos Brigade.

Because she had bowed to Gojira, and because the humans saw her as one of the titans; Yasaka and the Kyoto youkai faction had been chosen to monitor their movements and report on any news or discoveries related to the titans.

Despite everything they were able to learn from Monarch's research, several glaring questions remained at the back of every supernatural being's mind; "Where did they come from? Have they always been here? How did we not know about them?"

Yasaka opened her eyes and looked up at the ceiling in deep thought.

'Even after several months, there are things that we still don't know about the titans, and Gojira.' Yasaka closes her eyes and lets out a sigh. 'I probably should apologize for upsetting him yesterday.'

Suddenly, her train of thought is cut off by the sound of water rustling nearby. She looked to where the noise had come from and spotted several very familiar shapes sticking out of the water near the edge of the bath along with a black reptilian tail swaying in the water.

'What is Gojira doing in here!? How did I not notice him!?' Yasaka frantically wondered as her face began to turn red. Her surprise at seeing him had caused her to stumble back, causing the water around her body to rustle followed by the sound of Gojira's tail swaying in the water as a loud gurgling sound echoed in the air.

Now awake, Gojira partially sinks his lower body and raises his head as he turned to face Yasaka, whose face is still blushing from embarrassment.

"G-Gojira, why are you in the women's bath!?" Yasaka asked, confusing Gojira.

"Women's bath? What are you talking about?"

"There are separate baths for men and women with signs at the entrances labeling which is which." Yasaka answered, her face still red as she covered her chest.

"What do you mean by signs? I only saw sheets of cloth hanging with strange markings on them." Gojira responded in a calm but confused tone, causing Yasaka to pause in shock as something finally dawned on her.

'No. How could I have not thought about that. Gojira doesn't know how to read.' Yasaka realized. As she looked back to Gojira she saw that he was looking directly at her eyes and didn't even acknowledge, or simply didn't care that she was standing naked in front of him. Yasaka didn't know whether to feel hurt or relieved that this was the case. After a few seconds of awkward silence, she finally sat back down and let out a sigh. "I'm sorry for overreacting, I didn't think about the fact that you probably didn't know how to read. Sorry, you probably don't know what that is. Those markings above the door are symbols that are meant to represent words."

"...I see," Gojira responded before he began to turn around.

"Wait!" Yasaka shouted, causing Gojira to stop and turn back to face her. "I wanted to apologize for upsetting you last night when I asked about your species."

"There is nothing to apologize for, your question did not upset me, it simply brought up memories that I would rather avoid thinking about. What happened long ago cannot be undone so there is no point in dwelling on it." Gojira replied, causing Yasaka to feel relieved as a weight was taken off her shoulders.

"I know I already thanked you for saving me, but I have a question to ask."

"What is it?"

"Did you really have to be so rough with me last night? My body was incredibly sore all over and my chest still hurts." Yasaka asked as she placed her hand on her chest just above her breasts.

"I did what I thought was necessary at the time in order to restrain you. You should also know that I was far from rough with you compared to how I usually fight." Gojira bluntly responded, causing Yasaka to sigh.

"I suppose you're right. Compared to what Kunou told me about your fight with Otachi, I had definitely gotten off easy." Yasaka said with a small smile.

"Do not compare yourself with the Crested one. I was far less merciful with her because defeating her quickly was necessary due to her ability to take injuries and her relentlessness in battle meant that I could not afford to hold back like I did with you." Gojira responded in a harsh but truthful tone. "You were not as relentless as her and the energy affecting you made me prioritize ensuring that you didn't die from it. Before you think less of yourself because of it, you were able to battle the volcanic one, and he is tougher and stronger than the crested one."

Yasaka couldn't think of a response to what Gojira had told her. His approach to dealing with the two of them had been drastically different because of the way they fought and his priorities when fighting them. He had also implied that he was rough with her because he considered her to be stronger than Otachi.

"Thank you, Gojira." Yasaka quietly said.

"Hn."

Suddenly, she remembered something she wanted to tell him.

"I just remembered something. Kunou had told me about Mosura's ability to reincarnate herself."

"Yes, what of it?"

"When she was healing me during your fight with Ghidorah, I had given her some of my energy similarly to what I did with you." Yasaka explained.

"I could sense that was the case when I used my senses to search for the others, so why do you bring it up now?"

"Just before Mosura was killed by Ghidorah, she spoke to me inside my head." Yasaka revealed, causing Gojira to be caught off guard. Gojira then lowers his tail and lower body deeper into the water before approaching her.

"She spoke to you? Are you sure?" Gojira asked in a very serious tone that caught Yasaka off guard.

"I'm sure it was her. She said "Fear not Nine-tailed One. The cycle shall continue, and we will meet again." I'm certain that it was her." Yasaka replied, causing Gojira to turn around and stand up as he processed the information.

"The Winged one possesses the ability to communicate by passing knowledge and information to the mind of another. But she has never used it to speak with someone the way you described it. The only explanation I can think of for why she was able to speak is that she gained that ability because of your energy." Gojira said, stunning Yasaka.

"But that would imply that she was almost instantly able to understand how to use magic after just receiving it." Yasaka responded in shock.

"Its possible that when she used her healing mist on you, it could have caused the energy that you gave her to mix with her own just enough to directly affect her ability and allowed her to sense it and its influence on living creatures. She likely was able to figure out how to use it to alter her ability to allow her to speak." Gojira concluded.

"Can she really do something like that?"

"Given what I've learned about the supernatural, One could say that I represent Nature's destructive wrath and if that is the case, then you could say that she represents the aspects of nature that involve life, growth, and rebirth." Gojira explained, confusing Yasaka as to what he was implying.

"What do you mean?"

"Her connection to the aspects of nature that influence life and her understanding of them have always been far greater than my own. She can feel and understand the differences in the rates of growth and decay across the planet, the changes in climate such as wet and dry seasons, as well as understand their impact on living things. While she may have passed this ability down to me, my comprehension and understanding of these is nowhere near her level. The only area where I surpass her is aspects involving the Oceans, rivers, and any bodies of water. Understanding magic and its influence on living beings would certainly be something she is capable of."

"...Do you think Mosura would find a way to accelerate her eggs incubation period?" Yasaka asked.

"From what I felt the previous night, It's most likely that she did do it."

"Then that would mean that when she hatches, she would most likely be able to use magic and Senjutsu just like you can." Yasaka concludes, "When do you think she'll hatch?"

"From what I could sense, it will most likely be sometime within a few weeks to less than a month. It's very important that no one learns of this or its location. When I stretched out my senses last night, I also felt that several of the others were missing." Gojira told her.

"Given what happened to Otachi, then it would be safe to assume the Khaos Brigade is involved in some way. I'm guessing that you don't want the rest of the supernatural to find out?" Yasaka asked.

"You are correct, given my experiences in the past few days, I believe that if I were to say that they are missing, then it might make them harder to find. One of them is one that I hold in high regard and is very intelligent. They would have certainly called me for help if they felt that they were in danger, so the safest guess as to who is responsible for their disappearance is the ones who had captured you and the crested one. However, given the stick weilder's methods, they will not be in any real danger." Gojira explained.

"I suppose that it's a relief that we have a lead on one of them. But what will you do until then?"

"Based on what I've learned about the supernatural and my experiences with the stick weilder and his group. Humans are creatures that belong to both the natural order as well as the supernatural." Gojira said before turning around all the way and facing Yasaka, causing her face to turn red as she tried to avert her eyes. Gojira ignored her reaction and continued. "Your power has allowed me to become such an existence. I will stay here so that you can help me learn more about the supernatural, so that I may continue to protect the natural order."

"Yep, that sounds good, I'll gladly help." Yasaka frantically said, trying to stop her eyes from wandering.

"Good." Gojira responded as he turned around and began making his way out of the hot spring before stepping out of the water and leaving. As soon as he left Yasaka finally released a breath that she didn't know she had been holding.

Her body sunk down into the water at the edge of the bath, Her face still red from seeing Gojira's naked body.

'The size of that thing nearly made me lose focus.' Yasaka thought to herself before looking up at the sky, as the sun was starting to rise. 'If he really is going to be staying in Kyoto, then I suppose priority one should be teaching him how to read. It wouldn't hurt to spend a few more minutes in the bath.

*15 minutes later*

After losing track of time, Yasaka finally got out of the hotspring and put her clothes back on. After leaving the bath house she spotted one of the priestesses and approached her.

"Yasaka-sama, is there something you need?" the priestess asked.

"May I ask where Gojira is?" Yasaka asked the priestess.

"The last I heard, he was with Kunou on the western side of the shrine."

"Thank you for telling me." Yasaka responded.

"Good luck Yasaka-sama." the priestess happily replied, bowing her head as Yasaka began making her way to the western side of the shrine, searching for Gojira.

'Why is he with Kunou right now?' Yasaka wondered as she walked through the shrine.

After a few moments of searching, she hears a loud crash nearby followed by a shout of frustration and anger. She quickly makes her way to the source of the noise and finds an open room. Inside of the room she sees Gojira sitting at a kotatsu with a plate of chopped fish in front of him. On Gojira's right there was a small pile of broken chopsticks next to the plate with a pile of undamaged ones to his left. Yasaka also spotted Kunou sitting at Gojira's left hand side of the kotatsu and smiling while she giggled in amusement.

"What's going on in here?" Yasaka asked in confusion.

"Gojira asked me to teach him how to properly use chopsticks to eat." Kunou answered.

"After seeing them in use, I decided that it would be a good way to learn how to control my strength with greater precision as well as to better acquaint myself with my fingers in this form." Gojira explained as he grabbed another pair of chopsticks and attempted to position them in his fingers before trying to grab the chopped fish on the plate in front of him. However, the chopsticks spread apart, forcing him to readjust his fingers.

"So far he's only been able to eat two pieces out of the 10 he started out with. He's starting to get the hang of grabbing them and lifting them up off the plate, but holding them and putting them in his mouth is another story." Kunou explained as Gojira finally lifted the piece of chopped fish before the chopsticks twisted apart, causing him to drop it.

"Why is he eating raw fish?" Yasaka asked.

"The fish isn't cooked because he insisted on eating it raw." Kunou answered just before they heard the sound of another pair of chopsticks snapping, followed by a growl of frustration. Yasaka quietly giggles as Gojira dropped the broken pair into the pile with the others before grabbing new ones.

"I suppose I could help teach you how to use them." Yasaka said with a smile as she approached the kotatsu and sat down on Gojira's right.

*Two hours later*

Kyoto Station –

It was the last day of the school trip and Issei, along with everyone else of the Gremory group, were happy to finally get on the train and head home.

Due to the exhaustion of last night, they were still tired after a night's rest. So it was no surprise that they were not happy that they had to get up early and practically drag their tired bodies out of bed.

In the chaos that was yesterday, they had completely forgotten that they were going to visit the new Grand Yamashina Shrine in the morning before they finished shopping for souvenirs.

They managed to make it to the shrine while it was still early morning, and just dark enough for them to see the lights on the statues there. On the paths in front of the statues, there was a display with a screen on it that contained information regarding the ones the statue was for as well as video recordings and pictures. Apparently most of the information on the displays had been provided by Monarch Sciences.

Despite everyone in the Gremory group mostly being on autopilot throughout the tour of the shrine, they all couldn't help but be mesmerized by the lights on the wings of Mosura's statue. By then the sun had started to rise so they didn't get to see if Yasaka's statue had any glowing features.

After that they finished shopping for souvenirs before making their way to the Kyoto bullet train station platform. Matsuda, Motohama, Kiryuu, and almost all of the other students quickly boarded the train ahead of them, while all the students involved with the supernatural stayed back for a bit.

Up ahead they spotted four familiar figures approaching them.

"I guess Gojira-sama, leviathan-sama, Yasaka-san, and Kunou are coming to see us off." Issei said.

"Red Dragon emperor." Kunou smiled as she called Issei's name and approached him.

"Just calling me Issei is fine."

"Ok, Do you plan on coming back to Kyoto anytime soon?"

"You bet. Next time, you should show us the hidden side of Kyoto."

"Sure thing." Kunou replied with a smile as Yasaka and Gojira approached.

"Azazel-sama, Red Dragon Emperor-sama, as well as all the Gremory and Sitri family. I wanted to thank you all. I have arranged to meet with both Leviathan-sama and Sun Wukong after your departure." Yasaka smiled. "It's my sincerest wish to strengthen cooperation with everyone, and insure that Kyoto won't be terrorized in such a way ever again."

"What about you Godzilla?" Azazel asked.

"I will be staying here with the Nine-tailed One for now in order to learn more about the supernatural and familiarize myself with my new form." Gojira answered before turning to Issei. "Boy. The one you call Leviathan informed me that you declared that you would defeat the Hero Faction's leader."

"Huh. Yeah I did. I'll become stronger. Much stronger. And next time, I won't lose!" Issei said with determination in his eyes.

"If you truly wish to defeat him, then you better hope that I do not find him first. Because I will be the one to kill him when we meet again." Gojira responded with a prideful grin on his face.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure I'm strong enough to beat him the next time we meet." Issei replied.

"Well, with that settled, I leave things in your hands, Yasaka." Azazel smiled as he shook hands with Yasaka. But they were interrupted by leviathan placing her hand on top of theirs.

"Ufufu. Yasaka has offered to show me around Kyoto a bit more before we have our meeting later. Godzilla will also be joining us so he can familiarize himself with the city." Leviathan said with a smile before turning to the group. "I hope that the rest of you have a safe trip back. After all, the trip doesn't end…"

"…Until everyone's home." Issei finished.

"Godzilla. We can't thank you enough for helping us out last night. If there's anything you want, now's the time to say it." Azazel said to Gojira. Gojira looked towards Issei who was getting on the train and thought back to the times he saw the gauntlet on his left arm. After a few brief seconds, he looked back at Azazel once more.

"I want a pair of gauntlets similar to the one the brown haired boy has. I cannot use my claws in this form and it greatly irritates me in battle." Gojira responds, momentarily catching Azazel off guard from the request.

"Sure, I'll see if I can make you some. Is there anything specific about them that you would like?"

"I would prefer that they resemble my scales. I don't need them to have any additional abilities."

"Sure thing, I'll see if I can get my hands on some dragon scales to make them. On behalf of the Three-Factions, I look forward to cooperating with each other in the future." Azazel said before lifting up his arm to shake hands with Gojira. Issei quickly noticed and began panicking.

"Wait, Sensei! Don't—"

"Ow! You've got quite the grip." Azazel commented before Gojira released the Governor General's hand. "Well, good luck."

Azazel waved goodbye with his other hand before getting on the bullet train with everyone else and with a rushing sound, the bullet train door shut. As soon as the door shut Azazel began shaking his hand in pain before making his way to his seat.

"Sensei, are you ok?" Issei asked.

"I'm fine, it felt like Godzilla was crushing my hand."

"Yeah, he probably doesn't know how shaking hands works. The same thing happened to me yesterday."

"You should get to your seat. We're about to start picking up speed soon."

"Yeah, you're right." Issei responded before heading to his seat next to Asia. As he relaxed in his seat and closed his eyes, he began thinking back on the trip.

'Kyoto, the four days and three nights trip. So much happened in such a short time. Kiyomizu-dera, Ginkaku-ji, Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama, Grand Yamashina Shrine… Other than that, there were lots of memories.' Issei opened his eyes and looked out at the sky. 'I can't wait to come again and reunite with Kunou, Yasaka-San, and Gojira-sama. Next time, we'll bring Buchou and everyone.'

[Issei, I believe you are forgetting something.] Ddraig mentally told him.

'Forgetting something? What—' Issei widened his eyes as he realized something. "Oh no…no no no!"

"What is it? Is something the matter Issei?" Asia asked, concerned.

"I forgot to ask Yasaka-San to show me her boobs as a reward!" Issei said out loud causing Asia to happily sigh in relief. "Dammit! And I worked so hard! So much happened that I forgot! Oh, cruel world, how could you do this to me!?"

As Issei was crying out in regret, Ddraig was mentally facepalming. He was referring to continuing his conversation with Godzilla. Letting out a mental sigh, Ddraig ultimately decided that he could wait for another opportunity to present itself.

Hyoudou residence –

Having returned from Kyoto, Issei and his group are now being lectured by Rias in one of the rooms of the Hyoudou residence. They were all sitting on their knees and kneeling. Due to travel fatigue, Rossweisse had returned to her room to sleep while Azazel sat on the couch nearby.

Rias had her eyes half closed as she stared down at the group and interrogated them.

"Why didn't you report to me? You should have told us what happened Issei. Does Sona Know?" Rias scolded.

"Yey, yes…" Issei responded softly.

They tried explaining everything that could be explained. But nevertheless, Akeno and Koneko were also angry.

"When I called you, I had hoped you would discuss things with me. You said that you were going to contact us after Kikaku-ji but we never heard back from you." Akeno said.

"That's right. Thanks for nothing, loser." Koneko added.

"But, but, what really matters is that everyone came home safe and sound." Gasper responded.

'Gasper! Thank you for helping me!' Issei thought.

"In Issei's defense, it wasn't entirely his fault for forgetting to call you back after having three bombshells dropped on him in less than an hour after your call." Azazel casually said.

"I suppose that is understandable." Akeno replied.

"Oh and besides, Issei managed to unlock his potential in Kyoto, so cut him some slack."

"Well, I am happy to learn that…but being suddenly summoned to Kyoto and having my breasts poked." Rias stammered as her face went red.

"I'm sorry for summoning you so suddenly, but thanks for letting me poke your boobs." Issei frantically apologized. Everyone who heard about it couldn't believe it.

"I accept your apology." Rias said, causing Issei to look up with a hopeful expression. "However, that doesn't excuse the fact that you got chummy with Godzilla."

"Huh?"

"He destroyed my beloved Kyoto and turned the center of the Yamashina ward into a giant crater, not to mention he nearly destroyed Kyoto tower." Rias then continued ranting for a good thirty seconds before finally calming down. Akeno then seemed to suddenly recall something and clapped her hands.

"By the way, the youkai world has decided to start broadcasting the Oppai Dragon show. However, apparently someone managed to sneak into the dimensional space you were fighting in and recorded Gojira's fight with Otachi and Yasaka." Akeno explained. "And they decided to spread it all throughout the underworld and supernatural community. So while it looks like you're going to be even more famous, you've now got some competition."

"I don't know what to say…I'm having such a surreal feeling right now." Issei responded.

"Issei, promise me that you will become more famous than Godzilla." Rias asked him.

"Uh sure."

"It's the perfect underdog story. Issei will become the hero of all the children in the world one day. Rising above the ranks of commoners to face one who stands at the top." Xenovia assured him.

"Thanks but, I don't think Gojira-sama is just going to do nothing while I get stronger." Issei pessimistically said.

"Don't worry, we believe in you." Asia assured him.

"Ok, now that everyone is back safe. Let's call it a day. I'll ask for the details from my brother through Grafia later." Rias said, giving a wry smile.

'Ah, Buchou's mood finally seemed to improve.' Issei thought.

"Now then, the school festival is coming up. We have to get serious with preparations. Also—" Rias' face suddenly turned serious as she continued. "The match against Sairaorg. This is supposed to be the last battle in the youth tournament. We cannot be careless. Let's prepare together."

"Yes!" Everyone responded.

*Hours later*

Unknown Location –

"Sirzechs, we will send the data we collected from the Hero Faction. They seem to have three high tier Longinus, as well as a gathering of Balance Breakers. Not only are they trying to summon Great Red, but it looks like they have other plans considering they also went through the trouble of capturing Titanus Otachi. These detestable terrorists." Azazel explained.

"They appear to be working under the banner of 'Destroying the Devil and Youkai Alliance', Azazel. Disregarding the core members, this is what the lower subordinates believe as 'Justice.' It's most likely due to this that the various factions in the Kyoto barricade suffered heavy losses. They not only possess the Annihilation Maker, but have many Balance Breaker users. This is changing the situation worse than we imagined." Sirzechs replied.

"Well, it makes sense, from the human point of view, devils, angels and youkai are all enemies. Most of them probably just view them as monsters. The alliance of the three Bible factions seems to be the spark that lit them into action. Devils getting along with fallen angels is already shocking, but Heaven working with the Underworld is even more unbelievable. It isn't surprising that humans will feel threatened and angered at this unnatural turn of events. Ghidorah's rampage and the mass awakening he triggered didn't exactly help." Azazel said.

"That is true. You mentioned how most of the humans probably just view them as monsters. From what we learned from the lower members of the Hero Faction that had been captured, several of them were very reluctant to go through with kidnapping the kyuubi leader. Apparently, while many of the subordinates we captured viewed the youkai as monsters, there were quite a few who didn't feel that way about Yasaka in particular, largly due to her risking her life fighting Ghidorah alongside Mothra and Godzilla four months back." Sirzechs informed him.

"Speaking of those three, I'm sure you've read the report on what we've learned about them?" Azazel asked.

"Yes, I have and I've already forwarded a copy to Micheal as well as Odin. I suppose Godzilla was right to call Ghidorah a living extinction event, with the rate of how fast his storms were growing and his ability to siphon energy, not to mention his other abilities, I fear how powerful he would have become if Godzilla had not stopped him. What we're most shocked about is Mothra's ability to reincarnate herself through her egg. We have a few theories about how her offspring inherit all her memories and experiences, the prevailing one being that she has some form of telepathic ability to transfer information to her offspring."

"It makes sense and isn't too bizarre compared to the abilities held by some of the other titans like Titanus Ahmuluk. Given what information you've obtained, I assume the talks with youkai are going well?"

"Extremely well. They want to negotiate with the Fallen Angels next. Although, Godzilla refuses to disclose the location of Mothra's egg. It's probably for the best."

"Makes sense. It looks like the proposal Shemhaza has been pushing all along will finally get started. Also, did you know that Sakra has been sending the first generation Sun Wukong and the Jade Dragon all over the world? This time they also helped a lot."

"Since God of the Bible is dead, and now, Indra — As top tier gods, if Sakra and Zeus happen to get assassinated by True Longinus, then the balance of power between the various factions will be broken once again. Isn't sending the First Gen Sun Wukong to deal with terrorists the best way?" Sirzechs asked.

"You say that as if the balance of power between the factions hasn't already been greatly impacted by Godzilla choosing to ally with the youkai faction. But yes, you're right."

"That's true, apparently Godzilla has decided that he will use the power he obtained from Yasaka to become a being that exists in both the natural and supernatural world. One could make the argument that humans are beings that can exist in both the natural and supernatural world. Just like the humans, that would make him an unpredictable and scary existence."

"That's right. So it would be best that we don't make an enemy out of him. We don't know his full capabilities right now. By the way, Issei and the rest have accomplished new victories in Kyoto. There is no question about his promotion, right?" Azazel asked.

"Yes, it is enough. If things go as planned, I will recommend him after the next Rating Game."

"You mean the match with Sairaorg. Sairaorg has also defeated many terrorists."

"The only young devils possessing this level of power are Bael, Agares, Gremory, and Sitri. As to being able to contend with the upper echelons of the core leadership, I fear only Sairaorg and Rias' servants have the power to do so. Thus, much hope is being placed upon the servants of both sides."

"Already rivaling the professional upper class devils, eh?"

"Yes. Once they begin official games, both of them will definitely win titles rapidly. Also, there are many in the House of Gremory that are optimistic about Rias, and they eagerly anticipate Issei's future performance. As his future brother, I am very proud."

"Haha, getting proud of your brother-in-law so soon? Being both a Devil King and a brother, your identity sure is complicated."

"I am very happy. Issei and Rias are my hope. I want to watch over their growth. But then…" Sirzechs paused.

"What is it? Will Issei's new power be allowed in the match? I think it's a rather interesting ability."

"That's not it, all the other higher ups are fine with it. They think it will be fun and I'm pretty confident that Sairaorg will want Issei to be able to use it. The concern that I'm thinking of is the video of Godzilla that is spreading through the supernatural world like wildfire."

"I'm guessing it isn't good?"

"Not at all. In fact, it's great. With Godzilla's rise in popularity, the Oppai Dragon will now have some competition. After all, competition makes things more interesting. Since Godzilla wants to become more familiar with the supernatural world, I was thinking we could invite him to the rating game event to formally introduce him to the supernatural world."

"I see your mind for business is as sharp as ever, but tell me, how do you plan on not only convincing him to go, but also convincing the higher ups to let him come?"

"Simple, I was thinking of proposing an exhibition match of sorts, between him and Tanin that will take place just before the rating game between Rias and Sairaorg. With those two matches, not only will the Oppai Dragon merchandise enter a new phase, but we could potentially introduce the first phase of Godzilla merchandise." Sirzechs said.

"Playing both sides are we?" Azazel smirked.

"Someone has to be the one to light the fuse of competition. I'm taking this proposal to Tanin tomorrow, I'm sure he'll agree."

Team Vali's hideout –

"And that's it. My report is done. Lord Vali."

"Good work Le Fay. Thank you for luring the first generation Sun Wukong and the Jade Dragon to that dimension. So, how's Issei Hyoudou?" Vali asked.

"I am very touched to meet the greatly anticipated Red Dragon Emperor. However, my attention was mostly on Godzilla." Le Fay explained.

"Is that so? What was Godzilla like?"

"From the way he fought, and how he had such an immense amount of magic power but didn't use it outside of transforming. It's safe to say that he isn't at all used to his human body. However, I think that just makes him cooler. He had already collapsed half of the Arashiyama bridge by the time I arrived." Le Fay explained while fangirling.

"Then based on the video you recorded, he had been using his natural capabilities the whole time." Vali then smiled and began chuckling to himself. "I hope he learns how to use his magic power soon because I can't wait to fight him."

"Oh and one more thing, First Gen seems to be looking for you and Bikou." Le Fay told them.

"We may run into them soon. To completely shake the first gen off our backs will be very hard… but hidden in the depths of the Sacred Gear, Issei has begun contact with the past possessors."

"Lord Vali?"

"Persuading others by words is not my style. I will take the greater challenge of dominating the past possessors, it is more interesting that way. Cao Cao, if you want to defeat us you'd better do it while it's still possible. If that even is still the case now that Godzilla has decided to make you his prey. You better defeat us before Issei and I completely surpass your powers or Godzilla manages to hunt you down."

Bael Territory –

"Sairaorg, have you heard?"

"What's the matter, Sekkvaira Agares?" Sairaorg asked as he continued doing push-ups.

"There's a rumor saying that the Red Dragon Emperor under Rias Gremory has awakened a new power."

"That sounds pretty interesting, I'm looking forward to it."

"They say that his ability is powerful enough to make the Rating Game unfair. It even allowed him to fight on the same level as the hero faction leader as well as survive the holy spear."

"Not a problem. I'll allow it. Besides, no surprise that Issei survived. After all, dying would only break his promise to me."

"There is also another rumor that has been going around. I'm sure you've seen the video that's been spreading throughout the supernatural world like wildfire?"

"You mean the one with Godzilla fighting the kyuubi leader and that other titan? I've seen it."

"Apparently there has been a rumor going around that Godzilla could potentially be invited to participate in an exhibition match just before your rating game, apparently he's supposed to go up against the Blaze Meteor Dragon Tanin." This caused Sairaorg to pause.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"It's only a rumor, nothing has been made official just yet. But given his spike in popularity, there is a chance that it could be possible."

"I hope that rumor proves to be true, because I definitely feel excited at the prospect of meeting him."

Hero Faction hideout –

After what has felt like over a month, he has finally become aware of his surroundings. He had been captured by a strange group of humans. They had called themselves the Hero Faction. He remembered becoming enveloped by a strange purple mist before everything around him turned gray. He had tried to call his king for help, but he received no reply. He had known something was wrong, that something was different about this group of humans. He is one that his king holds in very high regard so his king would have signaled a response and come to help him. Something had prevented him from hearing his call, or something had prevented his call from being heard.

After what felt like an hour, one of the humans had used a strange energy to shackle his mind. However, it seemed as though they weren't aware of his secondary brains. Thanks to his secondary brains he was able to avoid completely losing consciousness. As his secondary brains informed him that he had been taken somewhere. He began to examine the energy that had a hold on his mind.

From what he was able to figure out, the energy appeared to allow them to control him, by making him go mad with rage. However, rage is something that almost never comes to him, something that holds little influence over him. After a few weeks, he had figured out how to direct the energy away from his mind and to his secondary brains by making use of his body's bio-electricity. The process had been long and slow. He could feel that the ones who captured him had a way to monitor the energy to ensure that it continued shackling his mind.

After a couple of weeks, he had been able to direct most of the energy to his secondary brains while leaving some of it in his primary brain. It had ensured that while he still didn't hold control of his body, he now had near complete control of his own thoughts while still making it appear as though he was still under his captors control. Because he had to learn how to direct the energy flowing in his body, he had gained the ability to sense it as well as energies similar to it. With this new ability, he begins using his advanced electroreception in tandem with it to perceive his surroundings once more.

As he begins to perceive his surroundings, he finds himself in what appears to be some kind of underground lake or pond. He also notices that his limbs have been restrained with some other form of unknown energy that prevented him from sliding out. While he may possess control of his bio-electricity, he could not expel it from his body, not that it would affect the shackles restraining his body. As he tests out his body's functions, he notices that he still possesses a minute level of control over his body's pigmentation. However, he knows using it would be a bad Idea, he doesn't want them to realize that they no longer control his thoughts.

He soon sensed a build up of energy nearby and directed his attention to it. Shortly afterward, a familiar group of individuals emerged from it.

How curious.

From what he could sense, the energy seemed to warp space around it to bring them here. He quickly converted the flow and effect of it to memory. Perhaps if he manages to obtain the ability to make use of that energy and frees himself, he could try and do that.

Focusing back on the group, he could tell by the movement of their bio-electricity that they were exhausted and had recently gotten out of a fight. He could also feel that the leader of the group was also missing his left eye as well.

"The Kyoto project failed, but another plan is under adjustment. You will see it soon Cao Cao." Seigfried told his leader.

"Is that so? Good." Cao Cao turned to another one of his companions. "Georg, what's the status of our cephalopod pet?"

"It appears to still be under our control, we just need to keep it alive long enough to ensure we can use it for our plan." Georg responded. "By the way, how's your eye?"

"…no good, it can't be used any more. Heha, he really got me this time." Cao Cao chuckled.

"What made you carry phoenix tears and not use them… Oh well, let's prepare a replacement. Are you going to make him pay for the eye?"

"Of course not. I'm not some third rate villain. This is a valuable lesson. The wound on the eye is a reminder. To me, Issei and Cali are the best Heavenly Dragons. What joy." Cao Cao responded.

"What about Godzilla? I'm sure that the next time we meet, he isn't going to waste any time trying to kill you." Georg asked.

"Don't worry if it comes down to it, I'll use the Truth Idea."

As he observed them he noticed a strange flow of energy coming to the female in the group, he suddenly felt an enormous amount of the energy enter the area. No. To say it was enormous was an understatement; it felt like it was causing the very air to shake around him.

But he would not succumb to fear. As the energy got closer and closer, his senses detected that it was coming from what looked like a young human female with black hair and a face that was devoid of emotion. However, her bio-electricity was clearly not that of a human's, he didn't know what she was, even he was having a hard time making sense of her body's bio-electricity. There was something very unnatural about it.

"I felt a disturbance in the dimensional gap. Why?" Ophis asked, her dull eyes possessing a curious glint.

"I had the help of my best magician to manipulate Kyoto's ley lines to call Great Red. It was a test that ultimately failed." Cao Cao explained. "We even went through the trouble of making use of Titanus Otachi to prevent Vritra from being able to restrain the kyuubi leader, but we didn't expect Godzilla to appear."

"Godzilla? How?"

"From what we learned after our retreat, the energy Godzilla received from the Kyuubi leader had indirectly led to him obtaining a human form and he traveled to Kyoto to find out how to return to his true form." Georg explained.

"I see." She responded before turning her attention to the giant cephalopod, looking at it with curiosity. She then held out her hand and from her sleeve, an ink-colored snake slithered out onto her palm, ready and waiting for a command.

He could feel that something was off about the serpent in her hand, he couldn't feel any kind of bio-electricity inside it, but he felt an enormous amount of unknown energy. Without the ability to control his body, he could do nothing but observe as her body began to rise up into the air and approach his face, stopping just in front of his mouth. She then used her free hand to pry open his jaws just enough to toss the serpent down his throat.

He could already feel the new energy beginning to rapidly spread throughout his body. Distracting his senses as he focused on damage control. Whatever the energy was, it was reacting quite drastically with the energy already inside him.

But after a brief moment, he was able to regain control over his senses and stabilize the new energy inside of him. Just as his senses returned, he noticed that the young girl had already landed back on the ground.

"Why did you give it one of your snakes?" Cao Cao asked in confusion.

"To ensure that you won't fail next time." She simply responded before vanishing.

A/N: And that's the final chapter of Arc 1. For those of you who want to know what the Old Satan Faction have been doing, Well you're going to find out in the next chapter.

As I said at the start this chapter went through several drafts before I landed on the final one.

The start of the chapter was originally not going to have an explanation as to why Godzilla fell asleep but I decided to add one and it was originally going to skip the process of Godzilla entering the hot spring.

The hot spring part was always going to be in it, not much changed, just some dialogue tweaks and additions. The reason I added it was to A: Have a proper interaction between Yasaka and Godzilla, B: Give Godzilla something to do in this chapter that wouldn't be boring for me to write, and C: to give this chapter a comedic moment involving Godzilla, in fact the next chapter will have a few comedic moments involving Godzilla interacting with the rest of the main DXD cast and the various other races of the Supernatural side.

Also many of you are aware that I had indirectly said that Yasaka was stronger than Otachi due to her fight with Rodan in chapter 3. While it may have appeared in that chapter that she wasn't doing well, it was only really because she didn't have a great matchup against Rodan. Otachi is like the Honey Badger of the titans, She isn't the biggest, not the smartest, not the fastest, and definitely not the strongest. So she compensates the only way an animal that overmatched does; with violence and borderline crackhead courage.

The scene at the train station was mostly kept the same. However, I would like to point out that up until this point in the story, the events on the supernatural side have been relatively similar to how they were in canon with some deviation. But now that Godzilla is starting to take an active role in the supernatural side, the butterfly effect is going to start taking over the story of DXD. We can already see this with Yasaka and Kunou's relationship with Issei. In canon, Issei defeating that shadow user, and saving Yasaka had caused Kunou to develop a crush on Issei as well as make Yasaka interested in him. But due to both Kunou and Yasaka already having an experience with Godzilla prior to the kyoto arc, and Godzilla's more active involvement in saving Yasaka, their romantic interest in Issei doesn't happen. While they are still friendly with Issei, they don't have feelings for him. As the butterfly effect starts to take over, new allies will be made and new villains will appear with some even creeping their way into the series' top 10 strongest beings.

Also I decided to have the train scene show Issei on the train freaking out to comedically showcase the contrast between him and Godzilla.

(Virgin Issei: doesn't get to see Yasaka's booba. Cries about it.

Chad Godzilla: Baths with Yasaka and gets a full, front row view of her naked body. Doesn't care, looks her dead in the eyes as he talks about more important things. Unintentionally gives her a full view of his D, continues talking about being part of both the natural and supernatural sides with zero hesitation or acknowledgement towards her. Declares that he's staying in Kyoto, refuses to elaborate further, leaves.)

After the train scene the chapter was originally going to have a scene where Godzilla meets the shinto gods but I decided to scrap that and save that meeting for another time, then it was going to have a scene where Godzilla returns to his lair with a magic item that will allow him to teleport back and forth between his lair and Kyoto. He was going to meet team Vali, but then I decided against it. After that I ended up deciding to just stick with Godzilla staying in Kyoto for now.

I was also going to have a flashback where Rias and the rest of her peerage come back from the underworld after their fight with Loki and end up seeing a news report about the fight against Ghidorah and showcase their reactions to it. But I decided to scrap that Idea as writing that scene would distract from the point of the chapter so I decided to cut ahead to Issei getting scolded by Rias primarily to show that not everyone on the supernatural side is just going to automatically like Godzilla as well as reveal that Le Fay snuck into Dimension Lost and indirectly increased Godzilla's popularity.

Then there was Sirzechs' reaction to what they learned about Godzilla, Mothra, and Ghidorah as well as setting up for the next chapter.

And for the final scene with the hero faction, I was originally not going to have the titan's perspective in it but I decided to add it because I felt that it would improve it. And for those of you who are going to complain about how this titan managed to free itself of its mind control, in the monsterverse timeline it was able to figure out exactly how its containment field worked while in a state of hibernation and that was something that didn't directly effect it. Also before you start bitching about saying that it can't control its body's bio-electricity and that it doesn't have electro-reception, there is still alot that we don't know about it and given some of its other abilities, electro-reception and control over its own bioelectricity would be one of its least crazy abilities.

And I know that many of you probably know what titan it is, but I will just say that when he appears in Arc 3 (When else would he show up), things won't play out like it did for Otachi. Also just a heads up, Godzilla and Mothra are going to be the only titan's with access to Senjutsu. I might give it to a third but it won't be the one revealed in this chapter.

Until next time.
