166. Chapter 166

Christmas in Alaska

Chapter 166th

DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Time 8.30 A.M.

Madeline, Shane, and Nathan had been waiting on board for the transport plane to be taking off on runway four. They had been waiting for the past 15 minutes after getting settled in.

Commander Joe Early had advised that from the waiting area they will be taking off finally with the clearance. Madeline had been anxious as with the two boys. But she was glad in a way that two other security people will be coming along in case of trouble.

Shane had been having trouble sleeping the past few days having to be worried about his mother and father. It was the same with Nathan even though he's the silent type.

Finally on board strapped in to take off. Madeline was working on sending a text message to both Gibbs and Cecelia letting them know that they will be taking off soon to the safe house.

Moments later she will be hearing the pilot's voice over the intercom letting everyone know that they have started onto the run with the final clearance to be taking off.

She was able to feel the power of the tires underneath, as she looks over at the two boys strapped in tightly with all of their personal belongings in the baggage area of the transport.

Outside of the transport plane, it was raining slightly as it should pose no trouble at all with the take-off into the skies and beyond past the rain clouds.

Madeline felt better now than they were in the air.

TOMBSTONE, ARIZONA safe house

After a rough night of sleep after arriving at the safe house. Everyone had settled into their quarters after talking with the commander of the safe house.

Gibbs had wound up with a bad nightmare to wake up his wife Cecelia and she had suggested that he speak with the safe house therapist if they have one.

So she had called the Communications center to find out only to wind up being lucky with getting an appointment at ten o'clock.

Cecelia had asked who this particular therapist was at the medical center. It was Doctor Joseph Morrison with the safe house for the past eight years along with his assistant to take on the additional overflow of patients.

She had advised her husband that an escort will be picking him up outside of the quarters 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment.

He will be ready at 8.30 after checking in with Lt. Suzanne Moore taking care of Daniel Craig as with the other two security officers. Gibbs had received the text message from Madeline telling him that the transport plane had taken off at Dulles airport.
