Chapter 4: End of the Hunt

Skulker's Island

After running for what seemed like forever, Lagoona had reached the giant skull. She noticed the boomerang had embedded itself in the rock of the skull and retrieved it. 'So their in there?' She thought. Despite the intimidation from the giant skull rock, Lagoona headed inside to find her friends.

Inside the giant skull, Lagoona found several rooms but none so far held who she was looking for. She wanted to find them as fast as possible, this place was giving her the creeps. Luckily, the sound of voices in the distance caught her ear, and when she arrived at there source, her fears disappeared. In the massive room were the other students, alive, also trapped but alive nonetheless.

"Mates!, your alive!" Lagoona's voice caught everyone's attention. Their frowns turned to smiles at seeing her.

"Lagoona? Thank goodness." Harriet sighed in relief. "Can you get us out?".

Lagoon rushed over and reached for the lock on one of the cages. "Wait! Lagoona don't…" but It was too late, the lock had generated an electric change that shocked her and sent her back.

"Ouch…" Lagoon groaned in pain.

"Sorry Lagoona." Harriet apologized. "I forgot to mention, these cages generate an electric blast if you attempt to open then without the proper key."

"But the key could be anywhere." Lagoona said, getting up off the ground. "Wait! If it's electricity, Frankie should be able to absorb the energy!"

"That's a great idea!" Fangelica agreed.

"I'll be back with Frankie, she and Cleo should be close by." Lagoona turned and got ready to run.

"Lagoona, wait!" Harriet called out. "Is my sweet pup, Clawdeen with you? Is she ok?"

"Don't worry, Mrs. Wolf." Lagoona smiled. "Clawdeen is fine. She, Draculaura, and Danny are teaching that creep Skulker a lesson." Lagoona rushed off.

Harriet was happy Clawdeen was safe, even though she didn't like the idea of her child fighting that monster, Skulker. She also wondered who this Danny person was that Lagoona mentioned?

Back at the battle, Skulker wasn't giving Danny or Clawdeen any breathing room. Draculaura found her opening, or so she thought. As he descended down behind Skulker in bat form, he had picked up her presence thanks to his suits sensors, and in one quick motion, turned around and grabbed her out of the air

"You thought you could sneak up on me!?" Skulker slammed her into the ground and extended two sharp blades from the wrist of his free hand. "Time to clip those wings."

To Skulker's misfortune, he was in range of Draculaura's sonic scream. The piercing cry began to effect his suit, causing it to spark and go haywire. Freed from his grasp, Draculaura dropped a smoke bomb and escaped. When the smoke finally cleared, Skulker had regained control of his suit but it was to late. Multiple wire cables wrapped around his body, and restrained him.

"What!?" Skulker looked to see Clawdeen holding the end of a Jack 'o' Ninetails. "Draculaura! Now!" She shouted.

Draculaura used her own Jack 'o' Ninetails and wrapped to around Skulker. The two weapons generated electricity and shocked the hunter and squeezing his suit.

Despite his restricted movements, Skulker managed to move his arm close enough to the other, pressing a button that released several blades from his suit, cutting the cables. But before he could retaliate, Danny flew in and bombarded him with a barrage of punches, with the last strike sending him flying.

"You can't defeat me that easy ghost child!" Skulker activated his jetpack and stopped himself before flying back to the battle. "The more you resist, the greater the hunt."

"Seriously!" Clawdeen breathed heavenly. "This guy is a walking armory."

"Tell me about it." Danny grumbled. If his past experiences with Skulker were to go by, the hunter had way more up his sleeve.

Meanwhile, Frankie and Cleo were close to the giant skull rock. They were being chased by two more beastly ghosts who were catching up to them.

"There gaining on us!" Cleo breathed rapidly.

"We half to stop and catch them off guard." Frankie ordered.

They decided to stop and quickly turn around with their weapons raised. As the fired their weapons, one of the two ghosts managed to dodge while the other was hit.

"Darn! It moved!" Cleo tried to shoot again but the ghost had reach them to quickly.

Before it could attack, a beam of energy struck it from the side. Both ghouls turned to see Lagoona, who pulled out her Fenton Thermos and captured the downed ghost.

"You ghouls ok?" She asked.

"We're fine." Frankie sighed in relief. "Did you find the missing students?"

"You bet!" She said. "Their alive, but in cages with locks that generate electricity blasts."

"That's right up my alley." Frankie turned towards the giant skull rock. "Lagoona, you go back and help the other's hold off Skulker while me and Cleo will free the others."

"Got it." Lagoona took off.

Frankie and Cleo rushed into the skull rock. Eventually they found the room full of the missing students.

"Don't worry! We'll get you guys out of there." Frankie and Cleo moved towards the cages.

"Stand back, Cleo." The mummy took a few steps back as ordered.

Frankie grabbed hold of the lock and like Lagoona said, the cage released an electric blast. Due to Frankie's physiology, he body absorbed the electric energy and with no more power, the lock disengaged.

"Wow!" She beamed. "That ghost electricity is on another level."

Frankie felt a rush. Luckily it wasn't as much as the time she absorbed billions of watts of electricity from an entire power grid.

"Time for the rest." She proceeded to do the same for each of the cages.

"Nice work, Frankie." Said Cleo. "But we still need to get them back to our world."

Cleo was right. They had to find the device, Skulker used to travel between worlds. She began looking around the room for anything that could potentially be what they were looking for.

"Alright everyone, look around for something that looks like some sort of dimensional travel device." Frankie was meet with confused faces all around. "Just look for something that seems import that's about the size of an I Coffin."

Everyone began searching the area, but couldn't find anything that seemed like what they were looking for, and the devices they did find were either too big or had completely different functions than traveling across dimensions.

While everyone was still looking around, Raythe was looking at the various trophies of dead creatures on Skulker's trophy wall. "Yo, Deuce, check out these monster heads."

Deuce approached the wall and observed the heads. "Dude, they almost look alive." Deuce reached out to touch one of the heads, when suddenly, it came to life and let out a frightening roar.

The two stumbled back into wall. Upon impact, the sound of machinery could be heard within the wall that sounded akin to lock being undone. They both move away from the wall as it began to raise, and reveal a secret room.

The commotion got the attention of everyone else, and Frankie entered the secret room. "Hold on a second." She came to what seemed like a large work station that held multiple odd devices but one stood out. "I think this is it."

"What makes you say that?" Cleo asked.

"Because…" Frankie turns around smiling. "The note next to it says dimensional travel device instructions. Nice work guys!"

Cleo just stood there, dumbfounded. Deuce and Raythe quickly acted as though it wasn't pure luck. With Deuce even leaning over by Cleo. "Yeah, it was no big deal." He said with confidence. Cleo rolled her eyes but could help but smile at his attempt at impressing her.

"Now let's see if I can get it to work." She began examining the device in hopes of learning how to use it.

Back at the battle, Danny, Draculaura, and Clawdeen were breathing heavily while Skulker was still ready to continue. Although his armor was noticeably damaged.

"As much as I've enjoyed our little game. It's time I ended the hunt." Skulker put two fingers in his mouth and whistled.

Suddenly, the ground began to shack violently as the sound of footsteps.

"That doesn't sound good." Danny said.

The group watched as a giant purple beast emerged from the trees. It's stood about fifty feet tall, spikes across it's entire back, it's eye were bright green, and it's teeth were razor sharp.

"Definitely not good!" Clawdeen shouted.

The beast let out a ear piercing roar and made it's way to them.

"Let's see how you handle one of finest pets." Skulker laughed.

Out of nowhere, a beam of energy hit Skulker in the back, sending flying into the large beast.

The others looked over to see Lagoona, who had just arrived.

"Lagoona!" Draculaura shouted. "Your ok!."

"Of course." She rushed over to her friends. "And, we found everyone else."

"What!?" Skulker had recovered just in time to hear what Lagoona had said and quickly pressed a series of buttons on his armor, bringing up camera feeds from inside his lair.

The feed showed all the monsters he had captured were free, and one of them had his dimension travel device. "They won't escape my lair!" Skulker pressed a several buttons on his armor.

Back inside the skull rock, a loud alarm wailed. The students began to panic.

"Frankie!" Cleo shouted nervously. "I don't won't to rush but could you hurry a little bit with that dimensional thingy!"

"I think I almost got it, hold on." Frankie worked as fast as possible. Who knew a small device would be so hard to figure out.

Out from the walls and ceilings came multiple turrets. "Everyone get down!" Harriet ordered.

Everyone took cover behind the various objects they could find. Cleo was using her bandages to completely wrap the turrets, causing them to explode from the blow back of the blasts having nowhere to go.

"I think I got it!" Frankie cheered, almost getting hit by a laser. "Everyone, quick! Over here!" She ordered.

They all quickly rushed to her side. "Grab hold!" They followed her instructions. "I hope this works." She activated the device and in blue flash of light, they vanished.

Back at the battle with Skulker, the hunter was furious. "NO! They escape!"

"Looks like you underestimate your "prey", Skulker." Danny smirked.

Skulker turned to face him and the other members of the the Ghoul Squad. "I may have lost them, ghost child. But you aren't going anywhere!" he growled.

Suddenly, a blue flash emitted behind Danny and the ghouls, and from it emerged, Frankie and Cleo.

"We got everyone to safety and… Oh my ghoul! What is that thing!" Frankie shouted, pointing at the giant monster by Skulker's side.

"Talk later, get us out of her!" Clawdeen shouted.

Frankie tried activating the device but to her misfortune, it didn't worked, only a faint beeping could be heard from it.

"I-I think it's out of juice!" Frankie said. "I'll see if I can charge it."

The giant ghost creature took this opportunity to move in and attack. The group raised their Fenton Thermos, and prepared to capture it.

"I don't think so!" Skulker activated a device on his wrist. His armor released a frequency that caused the Fenton Thermos's to power down. "I'm going to enjoy taking your pelts and decorating my lair with them."

All the ghouls made faces of disgust. "That's so gross." Cleo said, trying not to vomit at the thought.

The situation quickly went from bad to worse, and Danny was out of options. He looked to see Frankie still charging the device with her electricity, while the other girls were watching in fear as the creature slowly approach them.

"Girls, get behind me!" Danny ordered. They didn't know what his plan was but decided to listen. "Cover your ears!"

The next the ghouls knew, Danny had unleashed a powerful sonic scream that shock everything violently. The trees and ground were uprooted, and the giant ghost creature was lifted off it's feet and sent back. Skulker activated his suits her pack and attempted to push against the force but it was in vain as his suit began to be torn apart by the immense force of the Ghostly Wail.

Hoping it was enough, Danny stopped his wail before he lost to much energy. He breathed heavily as he looked on at the destruction from his wail. The Ghoul Squad also stepped around him and stared in awe at the damage Danny's attack did.

"That. Was. CLAWSOME!" Clawdeen shouted. "Danny, you blew them away!"

"That was like my sonic scream but a 1000 times crazier!" Draculaura stated, still amazed.

"Wait, look!" Cleo pointed to the rubble that was moving.

Out from the rubble emerged Skulker, who's armored body was in ruined. He was missing one of his legs and both his arms, wires and sparks could be seen protruding from parts of him.

To their surprise however, Skulker's body exploded, launching his metal head over towards them.

"Wait, if the suit was empty, were is the real Skulker?" Draculaura asked, confused.

"Curse you, ghost child!" a weak little voice shouted.

The Ghoul Squad all jumped in surprise, looking for the source of the mysterious voice.

"Where did that voice come from?" Draculaura ask.

Danny chuckled as he reached down and picked up Skulker's metal head and reach inside. "Ladies, I'd like to introduce you to Skulker, the Ghost Zone's tiniest hunter."

"I don't believe it." Clawdeen chuckled. "He's so small!"

"Isn't he just adorable." Draculaura chuckled.

The ghouls couldn't help but laugh. This entire time they thought Skulker was this hulking metal monster when in reality, he's just a harmless little ghost.

"Don't laugh at me! I am Skulker!" He shouted, trying his best to sound intimidating. "You will all fear me!"

"You should chill out, Skulker." Danny generated his cold energy around his palm and encased the small Skulker in a block of ice.

"Well, now that that's taken care of, how about we get out of here?" Danny placed the frozen Skulker on the ground.

"I couldn't agree with you more, Danny." Cleo said. "This place has been a nightmare."

Frankie had just finished charging the device. "Time to go home." She activated the device and in a blue flash of light, they vanished.

Monster High

When they arrived at Monster High, the Ghoul Squad were swarmed by their friends and family.

"Draculaura! Fangelica! I'm so happy your safe!" Dracula hugged both his daughters, who returned the gesture in kind.

A similar scene was unfolding with Clawdeen and her family as her brothers swarmed her, knocking the fashionista to the ground and hugging her. "I'm so glad you're alright, Sweet Pup." Harriet grabbed hold of her daughter and gave her a big hug.

"Thanks, mom." Clawdeen returned the gesture in kind. "But we couldn't have done it without our new friend, Danny Phantom." Clawdeen gestured over to Danny, who was standing off to the side away from everyone.

"Hmmm" Harriet looked at the ghost boy.

"You should have seen it, mom. Danny was fighting that creep Skulker with his bare hands and used some crazy big move, it was Clawesome!"

"Sounds like my daughter might have a little crush." Harriet teased.

"What, um… no it's just… mom!" Clawdeen could properly speak and started blushing at her mom's accusation.

"I'm just saying, he is handsome young man and you'd look good together." Harriet's teasing made Clawdeen even more flustered.

"Mom! Can you please stop" Clawdeen's face was visibly red, lucky her back was turned to Danny and he was still a bit far away to have heard her mother's comments. 'Now that I think about it, Lagoona's right, he is kind of cute but…' Clawdeen thought to herself as she took a quick glance Raythe. 'There's someone else I think I still have a thing for.'

Frankie and Cleo had walked up Danny. "So Danny, ready to meet our friends and family.?" Asked Frankie.

"Uh… sure." Danny was a bit nervous. He was about to meet a bunch of people of also happen to be monsters that until several hours ago, he didn't know even existed.

"Don't worry, I'm sure everyone will be excited to meet you!" Frankie sounded a hundred percent confident.

"Well, maybe not everyone." Cleo chimed in filing her nails. "Toralei and Moanica D'Kay aren't the friendly type."

"Who are they?" Danny asked

"We'll tell you about them later, come on." Frankie quickly grabbed Danny's arm and practically dragged him towards the others.

Danny noticed how Frankie's facial expression changed to one of hate at Cleo's mention of the two names, more so when Cleo said Monica's name. Given Frankie quickly changed the subject, he guessed something bad happened but since he just got here, he thought it best not to say anything.

"Everyone!" Frankie shouted, getting their attention. "This is Danny Phantom, he's the monster who helped use recuse everyone and beat, Skulker."

"Uh… hi." Danny gave a small wave and a nervous smile. The amount of eyes on him was slightly overwhelming but that feeling quickly faded when he saw everyone had a smile on their face.

He was greeted with cheers, but that wasn't all. "Oh my ghoul!, it's really Danny Phantom!" The shriek came from within the crowd.

When everyone looked to see who the ecstatic cry came from, they saw none other than, Ari Hauntingly. The violet haired ghost girl phasing through the crowd. She floated right up to Danny who was surprised that someone here actually knew who he was, but that also meant, she likely knew 'what' he was.

"Ari? You know, Danny?" Draculaura asked.

"Of course, almost any ghost, phantom, or specter knows the famous ghost boy, Danny Phantom." She explained.

'Oh no' Danny mentally panicked.

"Now that I think about it, you did say you're a superhero." Draculaura said. Everyone with the exception of the Ghoul Squad and Ari, were surprised by this.

"That's not all, Danny's a half…" Before Ari could finish her sentence, Danny quickly spoke up. "I think it's about time I go! you know, get back to my family, make sure nothing happened to my hometown while I was gone."

"Wait! Danny, are you sure you can't stay longer?" Lagoona asked. She and the other members of the Ghoul Squad were hoping he'd stick around for a bit. "Yeah, we really want to show you Monster High." Draculaura added.

Danny noticed the sad looks on their faces, while he did want to see Monster High, he had a home to get back to. He thought to himself for a moment before deciding on what to do. "Well, I guess I could stay for the night and spend tomorrow checking out this place."

The Ghoul Squad and the rest of the monsters cheered. "But first, I need to check in with my family first." Danny flew a ways away for some privacy before taking out his phone and calling his sister.

After a few rings, a familiar voice answered. "Danny!? Are you alright?"

Danny couldn't help but chuckle at his sister's constant worrying. "Don't worry Jazz, I'm fine. We managed to defeat Skulker, and rescue all the those he kidnapped."

"That's great, Danny." Jazz sounded relieved. "I saw you and this girls enter the house. So they really are monsters? I couldn't get a good look because I didn't want to spoke them, so I kept my distance from you guys while you were in the house."

Danny should have known Jazz was keeping an eye on him. "Yeah, their definitely real monsters and their school is legit…." Danny paused for a second before continuing. "I know I should be getting back, but they want me to at least stay for the night and show me around the school tomorrow. So I was wondering if you could keep covering for me until then?"

Danny waited for his sister's reply, hoping she'd agree. "Don't worry, little bother, I got your back."

"Thanks, Jazz." Danny mentally cheered.

"Besides, this might be a great learning experience for you." Jazz added.

Leave it to, Jazz to attempt to turn something fun into another learning experience for him. However, he knew his sister meant well and he was honestly interested to learn about other monsters. Saying his goodbye, Danny hung up and made his way back to the waiting Monster High residents.

"Looks like I can stay for tonight and most of tomorrow." Danny said.

"That's Fangtastic, Danny!" Draculaura said happily. She and the rest of the monsters were excited to have him stick around even though for a short time.

"My daughter is right." Dracula walked up to Danny. "I think tomorrow we should celebrate everyone's safe return and to thank you, Danny for your help."

"Yeah!, we could show you how us monsters throw a party!" Clawdeen howled.

"Yes, I sure everyone is excited, but I think it's time we all got some well deserved rest." Dracula declared.

No one argued. These last few hours had been beyond crazy, and everyone was tiered. Those who had homes outside of Monster High headed back to their families while those who lived in the school headed in side. Danny took this opportunity to quickly talk to Ari, who was making her way back into the school.

"Hey, Ari." Danny got the attention of the ghost girl. "Could I talk to you for a second, in private?"

"Of course!" She didn't know why, Danny wanted to talk in private but that didn't bother her. The two flew up a ways away from the others. "So, what's up?"

"Well, since you're a ghost and know me, I'm pretty sure you know that I'm… a halfa?"

"Well, of course." She answered like it was common knowledge. "Like I said before, practically every ghost knows who you are."

"About that." Danny rubbed the back of his head. "I was hoping you could keep me being half ghost a secret from the other monsters."

Ari was a bit taken aback by Danny's request. "Why not?" She asked, curious as to why he wanted his true nature a secret.

"I'm honestly not sure how they'd all react." Danny sighed before continuing. "Everyone here is a genuine monster, while I'm not. I got my powers in a lab accident, and from what I've heard from Frankie and the others, monsters and humans don't really mix. I'm… I'm afraid they might think I'm some sort of freak or pretender."

Now she understood, Danny was afraid. Ari was surprised how someone with Danny's reputation could be afraid of how others thought of him but when she actually thought about it, Danny and her have that in common.

"While it's a bit different, I think I know how you feel." She gave him a sad look.

"You do?" Danny's interests peaked.

Ari nodded. "I don't know if her music ever reach Amity Park, but have you ever heard of Tash?, she's a human rock star." Ari took out her I Coffin and showed Danny a picture of the blond rock star.

Danny thought for a second, he didn't really follow rick stars (discounting his confrontations with Ember), and he only really listened to Dumpty Humpty. "Sadly no, I've never really found the time to listen to music with all the stuff going on in my life. But what does Tash half to with my situation, she's human, right?"

"Not exactly…" Ari used her power to change her appearance to that of Tash. "I'm Tash." She stated.

Danny was taken aback at the sudden information. "Wait!... does this mean your half ghost like me?"

"Not exactly." She replied before changing back to her original appearance. "I just using my powers to change my appearance, I'm not actually human."

Now Danny understood why she said they were a "bit" similar.

"I wanted to be a rock star, but I was afraid of how humans would react. So, I created the Tash persona and changed my appearance, and now I'm living a double life." She took a breath continuing. "Eventually, I meet Draculaura and the other ghouls and after a crazy event that involved me being kidnapped, they found out I was really a monster like them and they didn't hate me."

Danny soaked in Ari's words. He understood what she was saying but a part of him was still unsure. Ari noticed this and decided to speak up.

"I know it's not something your comfortable with, so I'll keep your secret, and make sure none of the other ghosts that attend Monster High tell either." She gave him a smile.

"Thanks, Ari." Danny returned the smile and sighed in relief.

"But I do think you should eventually tell them. I trust these ghouls and know for a fact they aren't the type to mistreat others and hate them just because their different."

Ari began floating off, leaving Danny to his thoughts but the ghost girl quickly returned. "Uh… Danny. Could I ask you something."

"Sure." Danny saw no reason in hearing what she had to say.

"Could you take a selfie with me! It's not everyday you meet a superhero" She pulled out he I Coffin and waited for his answer.

Danny chuckled. "Sure, why not?"

After a quick photo, a smiling Ari flew back down to the school, leaving Danny to himself and his thoughts.

"Come on, Danny!." Draculaura waved. "I'll show you to one of the empty dorm rooms you can use!".

Deciding to push the negative though to the back of his mind, Danny floated down to Draculaura and the followed everyone else inside.

"So, what did you, and Ari, talk about." Draculaura asked.

"Oh, umm… nothing real important, ghost stuff." Danny lied. He didn't want to, and he wasn't the best at it.

Draculaura noticed Danny seemed off when she asked him about his conversation with Ari, but decided to not pry. "Oh, alright then."

The two finally reached Danny's room. "Well, here we are." Said Draculaura.

"Thanks, Draculaura." Danny opened the door to see a fairly normal room, though the dark colors and old look to it really went with the whole "monster" vibe.

"No problem, Danny." Draculaura replied before turning to leave, but she stopped. "And, Danny…" Draculaura quickly turned around and gave Danny a hug. "Thanks for helping us save our family and friends."

Danny blushed at Draculaura's sudden action. "Uh… no problem, it's what I do. And it's not like I did it alone, you girls helped too, and I couldn't have done it without you either."

Draculaura let go and took a small step back, hoping Danny didn't notice the blush on her face either, lucky, her pale-pink complexion hid it well. "Thanks. It was a bit crazy but we've been through are share of adventures."

"I'll bet." Danny replied. He let out a yawn, which let both of them know it was time to wrap up their conversation. "Well, goodnight, Draculaura."

"Goodnight, Danny." Draculaura gave a wave before making her way to her dorm room.

Danny entered his room, closing the door behind him and being sure to lock it. With a hefty sigh, a familiar blue ring appeared around his midsection and split across his upper and lower body, returning him to his human form. Danny slowly made his way over to his temporary bed and feel face first into his pillow, he didn't bother getting undressed, he was way to tiered. But as much as he wanted sleep to overtake him, his mind went back to his conversation with Ari. 'Should I tell them?' This question continued to circling through his mind until he pushed it back, he needed sleep, and eventually he managed to get some

Monster High (The next day)

"knock knock…" The sound of multiple knocks starred Danny from his peaceful sleep. A yawn escapes his mouth as he rose from his bed "Man, what a dream… huh?"

Danny quickly took in his surroundings and realized he wasn't in his own bed, and in that moment, all the memories of last night surfaced. He remembered he was in a school for monsters.

On the other side of his room door, a familiar voice called out to him. "Danny, are you awake? It's me, Frankie."

Danny scrambled to his feet, he remembered he was in human form so quickly transformed. Only after the transformation was finished did he realize that was a bad move.

Frankie's voice called out again. "Danny!? What was that light? Are you ok?"

He quickly rushed to the door and opened it to see a worried, Frankie.

Danny was sweating nervously. "Hey, Frankie. What's up?"

Frankie's raised a brow. "Uh, what was that flash of light under the door just now?"

"Flash of light?... uh… oh it was um…. Just me letting off some energy, my body builds up a lot of energy and I need to release it occasionally." Danny hoped she bought that.

"Oh… alright then." Frankie wondered why his eyes were darting back and forth, and why was he so nervous but decided to not ask him about it, it was probably due to everything that happened yesterday. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to join me and the other ghouls in the creepateria to grab a bite to eat before we give you a tour of the school?"

'Creepateria? She might be talking about a cafeteria.' Danny thought to himself. 'These monsters really go all out with the some of the words they use, though I hope the food here is at least somewhat normal.' "Sure, let's go."

When they arrived at the creepateria, Danny noticed the large octopus lunch lady behind the counter, who's appearance made the Lunch Lady ghost look harmless.

"Don't worry, she's not mean, she always looks like that." Frankie assured Danny, who gave a nod.

As they got their trays and waited to be served, Frankie scanned the creepateria for the others but didn't see them. "I don't see the other ghouls, we should check outside after we get our food."

When it was their turn, the lunch lady dropped a pile of white slop on their trays. Danny looked at it, then back at lunch lady, who simply said "Mash".

'It's official, no matter what school you go to, the foods always the same.' Danny thought to himself.

Now that the two received their "food", Frankie lead Danny outside to find the rest of the Ghoul Squad.

"There they are!" Frankie pointed over at one of the tables.

And sure enough, the others were there, but they seemed to be talking to someone and it didn't look like it was a friendly conversation.

"Who's that their talking to?" Danny asked.

"Moanica…" Frankie spat.

Danny could tell, Frankie didn't like this girl, and he probably was about to fine out why. As they got closer, they could hear what the group were chatting about.

"Just get lost, Moanica." Clawdeen said in annoyance.

"Aw, what's wrong? Still angry over that little accident at you precious salon?" Moanica replied.

Just from her tone of voice, Danny could tell she was bad news. From her stance and the group of zombie guys behind her, he guessed she was the bad girl type who does whatever she wants without a care.

"Accident!" Draculaura shouted. "You used Frankie as a battery to absorb the electricity from the power grid, caused a panic at the salon and nearly reveled us to the humans, and attacked Normie Town with you little Zomboys stunt! Your lucky my father hasn't expelled you yet."

'She did all that, and she's not expelled from the school!' Danny couldn't believe it, this girl sounds a lot a fruitloop he knew.

"One of these days you'll realize I'm right, humans should fear use." She stated.

"That's enough, Moanica." Frankie said, getting everyone's attention at the table. "Take you're Zomboys and run along."

"If it isn't little miss battery… Oh, and I see you've brought the 'hero'. Danny Phantom, was it?" Moanica asked, though with a hint of disinterest.

"Yeah, that's me." Danny answered.

"Ha, you don't luck like much. I bet my Zomboys could take you." She bragged.

Danny looked behind her and glanced at the Zomboy who were either standing their seemingly brain dead or fooling around playing rock, paper, scissors… or at least that's what he assumed they were playing.

Danny chuckled. "Yeah, I doubt that…"

Moanica glared at him, not likely his remark. "Zomboys!" With a snap of her fingers, the Zomboys went on the attack… if you'd call it that.

The group of slow walker zombies moved towards, Danny, who simply rolled his eyes and placed his tray of food down before cracking a smile and turning invisible, surprising everyone.

"Where'd he go!?" Moanica shouted.

Deciding to make this quick, Danny moved behind two of the Zomboys and shoved one. This caused the zombie to turn around to see only the other Zomboy. Not knowing it was an invisible Danny that pushed him, the Zomboy attacked the other.

Danny moved on to the next two, and released small jolts of electricity into both of them with his ghost stinger, causing them to repeatedly jump in pain. Looking at the final Zombie, Danny used his possession to take him over and grab a tray of mash.

"What are you doing?" Questioned a confused Moanica.

She got her answer when the possesses Zomboy flipped his tray over Moanica head, spilling it all over her. Danny having finished work, left the zombies body and turned visible.

Danny smiled triumphantly. "Looks like breakfast is on you, Moanica"

Everyone around couldn't contain their laughter, but Moanica was steaming. Her upper and bottom teeth grinded against each other, as her eyes were filled with burning hatred.

"This isn't over." She sneered, storming off with her Zomboys in tow.

It took half a minute before the girls could get a hold of themselves from their laughter.

"Mate…" Lagoona wiped a tear from her eye. "That was great!" She let out a few more giggles.

Clawdeen stood up and gave Danny a high five. "Yeah! It's about time someone took her down a peg."

The others couldn't agree more, Moanica's been a thorn in their side from day one and it's great to see her get what she deserved.

"The way she was acting, I had to show her up." Danny said. "Did she really do all that to you guys?"

"That and more." Cleo answered. "When we first tried to welcome her to come to Monster High, she had her Zomboys attack us and try to turn use into slaves for her monster army."

"But we made sure they knew who they were dealing with." Clawdeen added.

Now Danny definitely knew he did a good thing, that girl was another Vlad.

"Well, enough about Moanica. Let's eat." Frankie said. "We've got lots to show you today, Danny."

Danny, Clawdeen, and Frankie sat down with the rest of the Ghoul Squad And started eating. Danny decided to it was the perfect time to get to know them.

"So what do you guys do when your not doing school stuff?"

"Oh! I have my own Vampology Vlog that I use to let others know about events happening at Monster High!" Draculaura explained. "It's actually how we first got the word out about this place."

"I'm more into science as my hobby." Frankie said. "It's why I also I'm so interested in learning new things about technology."

"I don't have much of a hobby myself." Cleo admitted "But I love going on vacations to beautiful spots around the world, like Paris.

"I enjoy surfing waves, and pretty much any extreme activity." Said Lagoona. "Though hanging out and relaxing with my pals is just fine with me."

"I'm into fashion." Clawdeen was the last to explain. "I even have a salon down the road."

Danny remember, Moanica talking about a salon.

"You run your own salon!?" Asked Danny. He wasn't into that stuff but Clawdeen was a teenager like him, and for her to have her own business is incredible. "That's incredible, Clawdeen."

"Thanks." Clawdeen didn't know why, but hearing Danny compliment her made her even more happy. "Though I couldn't have done without my ghoul friends, right here."

"We're happy for you, Clawdeen. Your living your dream." Said Draculaura.

"Though it is a bit tuff maintaining our secret about being actual monsters from the Normies." Cleo added.

"Wait, it's a salon for humans?" Asked Danny. "How do you maintain your secret?"

"It's a monster theme salon." Explained Clawdeen. "The Normies think were just in character… but one day I want to reveal the truth so they can see monsters aren't bad."

"That just reminded me!" Frankie looked over to Danny. "Danny, do you think you could give use some input on how to help show the humans that monsters are all bad? Considering Normies from your town all know ghosts exist."

"Wait what!" both Draculaura and Clawdeen shouted.

"Oh, that's right. You two went back to Monster High when we learned that the Normies in Amity Park actually know ghosts exist and it's a normal thing." Frankie explained.

They both couldn't believe it, a place were humans know monsters exist and it's normal for them to be around each other.

"That's Fangtastic!" Draculaura cheered. "We've been looking for proof monsters and humans can live together."

"Yeah but it's more complicated then that." Danny tone shifted to a serious one. "When ghosts first publicly appeared in Amity Park months ago, the humans were frightened due to how the ghosts constantly terrorized the town. I was pretty much the only good one and even then, the people ran from me until I continued to prove that I was there to help."

Danny sighed before continuing. "And while most of the people are fine with me in the town, there are still a few who still see me as one of the bad ones. I'm honestly not sure how people would react if you guys revealed yourself."

The Ghoul Squad listened to every word, Danny had said. They knew it wasn't going to be easy when it came to revealing themselves to the humans, heck, the only Normie they really knew was the little girl from Normie Town that they accidentally brought with them during the Howliday calibration, and she like monsters a lot but they doubted all humans were like that.

Danny on the other hand was feeling bad. These monsters want to no longer hide in secret and live along side the humans, and here he was, a human… well half human but still, keeping his human side a secret because of his fear.

'These monsters aren't bad, so why am I afraid to tell them?' Danny thought.

It was the same with his parents. Despite there ghost obsession, they love him and he knows for a fact that if he was to tell them the truth, they'd accept him considering they did during that whole Reality Gauntlet business last summer. So what was stopping him?

Taking a second from his thoughts he noticed the ghouls seemed sad, likely from what he said about how he doesn't know how the humans would react to monsters.

"I wouldn't compare my experience to yours though." Danny started, getting the ghouls attention. "Unlike me, you girls don't have a bad wrap and have already shown your not a threat to them. I think if you just keep doing what your doing and when it does happen, everything will work out."

Danny's words seem to do the trick, the ghouls were back to their happy selves. Though Danny couldn't say the same for himself.

Suddenly, a light beeping rang from Draculaura's I Coffin. "Oh no! Look at the time."

The other ghouls also looked at their I Coffins and noticed they've spent more time than expected chatting.

Draculaura stood up "Come on, Danny! We still need to show you around the school."

Danny had almost forgot about the tour, Frankie mention. Wasting no time, the Ghoul Squad showed, Danny around Monster High. He'd already been to the Creepateria, so the ghouls showed him the art room, science room, their normal classrooms, the library, and more.

"And here is, my father's… the headmaster's office." Draculaura pointed.

Danny still couldn't believe Draculaura was the daughter of the one and only Dracula. He may not have known monsters truly existed until yesterday, but everyone knows Dracula from various media.

"Wait." Danny raised a brow. "Back when you showed me the classrooms you said your dad teaches some of the classes, but he's also the headmaster?"

"Yup, He's got a lot of responsibility even with me and Frankie as co student presidents." Draculaura explained. "Which is why Monster High is looking for new teachers to help manage the other classes."

After the tour of the school, the Ghoul Squad took Danny to Clawdeen's salon which was originally a power station. The ghost boy whistled at the size of the place, though it was closed today so there was no one around.

It was late in the afternoon when they returned to Monster High and to Danny's surprise, everything for the party was set up.

"Wow, you guys don't mess around." Danny said, looked around at all the decorations.

"Told you, we were going to show you how we party monster style." Clawdeen winked.

And showed him they did. Danny's only been to only one party before and it was with a bunch of people who weren't his friends, but this party was different, he'd only known these monsters for no than a day and he felt he was with friends. Everyone was having a blast, dancing to the music, chatting, eating, you wouldn't have expected this when you hear a school full of monsters.

Danny had also meet more of students, one in particular was Frankie's sister, Alivia, who wanted to take a picture of him and the Ghoul Squad to keep for her photo album. Danny was happy to take a picture but he didn't expect the girls to get so close. He didn't say it out load but he thought they were all pretty, and being this close made his face red, but hedd hoped they didn't notice.

She really hoped he didn't notice, Lagoona was right next to Danny, her once blue cheeks now red, nearly touching his. She didn't know why she felt this way, she only just meet Danny yesterday and she liked him… maybe liked him a lot. After the photo, she quickly went off to go get something cool to drink.

Danny on the other hand stepped away from the party for a bit. The thoughts of him revealing his human side to the monsters came back again and it irritated him. While walking, he nearly tripped over a pair of legs stretch out from a bench.

"Sorry…" a soft voice spoke.

When Danny looked carefully, he saw a somewhat faded girl sitting on the bench. The girl had teal straight hair with purple highlights, pale skin, purple eyes, and wore purple sweater and skirt.

"Oh, that's my bad, I wasn't paying attention." Danny apologized.

"It's fine. It's not the first time this happened." The girl replied. "I get lost in reading and usually fade out without knowing."

The girls faded body became completely visible, to Danny's surprise.

"Are you a ghost?" Danny asked. This girl didn't trigger his ghost sense just like, Ari.

"Not exactly a ghost like you, I'm Twyla, daughter of the Boogyman." She said softly. "Your, Danny Phantom right? The one who saved everyone?"

"Yeah, that's me." He answered.

"Thanks for that. The ghouls are really nice and it would have been awful if anything bad happened to them or this school." She replied.

"No problem, I couldn't just stand by when you guys needed help." He replied. "So, you not a fan of parties?"

"I'm not really a social kind of person, and I like my alone time." She admitted. "Though I'm trying to get out there more often. What about you?"

"I just needed to clear my head, and think about personal stuff." He replied.

"Well, I hope whatever is going on works out." She said.

"Yeah, me too. Thanks for the chat, Twyla." Danny gave a small wave, as Twyla nodded before going back to her book.

Danny spent a little more time on his own before returning to the party, where things were winding down.

"Hey, Danny!" Draculaura approached him. "Where'd you go? We lost track of you."

"Sorry about that, I just needed a moment too myself." He said.

"Oh no, you don't like the party?" Draculaura asked, her tons changing to sadness.

"That's not it Draculaura." He quickly explained. "The party was awesome and I had a great time it's just… I think it's getting late and I need to head home."

"Really… are you sure you can't stay longer?" She asked.

"Nah, I should be getting back. I don't want my family to worry." He replied.

While Draculaura was happy, Danny enjoyed the party, she was sad that he had to go, but she understood.

"I'll go get the other ghouls" She said, transforming into her bat form. "I'm sure they will want to say goodbye."

At the front of the school, Danny was with the Ghoul Squad, saying their goodbyes.

"Before you go, Danny. We wanted give you something." Draculaura said, pulling a small present from behind her back and handing it too him.

Danny opened the present. "This is the phone I've seen you guys all use."

"It's called an I Coffin" Cleo corrected.

"We saw you were using an old Normie phone so we all pitched in and got you an I Coffin like ours." Draculaura explained.

Danny fiddled with his new I Coffin and saw it was a touch screen and had way more features than his phone.

"This is awesome!" He shouted. "You girls didn't half to get me this."

"Of course we did, mate." Said Lagoona. "You helped us save our friends, family, and our school. It's the least we could do."

"And no friend of Cleo's should be seen walking around with outdated things." Cleo stated. "Speaking of which, you really should do something about that jumpsuit."

"Cleo!" shouted the other ghouls, giving her a look.

"What!?" She questioned.

"Is my out fit that bad?" he asked.

The ghouls didn't want to hurt his feelings but Danny's outfit did seem out of style.

"It's not… bad." Clawdeen said. "But tell you what. You promise to come and visit Monster High again, and I'll have a Clawesome outfit that will make you look fierce and stylish."

"Thanks, Clawdeen. I'll be sure to visit when I can." He promised.

"Our numbers are already programmed into your I Coffin, so we can chat whenever, and if ever you need us or we need you were just a call away." Frankie explained.

"Thanks, ghouls." Danny couldn't believe they were this nice. "I want to thank you guys as well."

He reached into the bag that held all the Fenton equipment they had barrowed from the Fenton lab.

"I doubt he'd come back, but just in case, Skulker ever returns…" Danny pulled out two Fenton Thermos. "I think you guys should have these. I also know you really want to check out the technology, Frankie."

Frankie blushed in embarrassment but couldn't help but feel electrified.

"Voltagous! Thanks, Danny… but won't the Fentons know their missing some of their stuff?" She asked.

"Don't, they've got a lot more were these came from." He reached in the bag and pulled out the lipstick blaster. "Here you go, Cleo. Frankie know you liked this so you can keep it."

"Oh! Thank you, Danny!" She took it and placed it in her purse.

"Well, I'll best be off." Danny waved before taking off. However, he stopped.

"Danny, are you okay?" Asked Draculaura.

Danny turned around and had a sheepish grin. "I actually don't know were we even are…" He admitted.

The realization dawned on the ghouls as well.

"What about the dimensional thingy?" Asked Cleo.

"I haven't had time to fully examine it yet." Frankie sighed. "The only coordinate locked in are Skulker's Island and Monster High."

"And the Mapalogue only works if a monster is in the place were teleporting too." Draculaura explained.

That's when Danny had an idea. "I think I know of a monster who's more than likely in Amity Park." He smiled.

Amity Park

In the middle of a warehouse full of boxes floated one of Danny's most greatest enemies… the Box Ghost.

He let out a not so sinister laugh as he looked over all of the boxes. "With these new boxes, I the Box Ghost! Shall reign over the world!"

His monologue was cut short when a flash of light appeared in the room. When it vanished, the Box Ghost saw his arch nemesis, along with five other odd looking humans.

"You! Ghost Boy, how did you breach the secret lair of the almighty Box Ghost!"

"Oh my ghoul, you weren't kidding about him." Cleo said surprised at the ghost floating before them being exactly how Danny described him.

"Dude, your in a warehouse at the docks, this isn't what I'd call a secret lair."

"Nevertheless! I, the Box Ghost shall…."

Before the Box Ghost could finish his sentence, Danny sucked him into a Fenton Thermos.

"Thanks for that." Said Clawdeen. "That was one annoying ghost."

Her statement caused everyone laugh.

"Well Danny, it's been fun." Draculaura said, rising the Mapalogue so the others can place their hand on it.

"Yeah."

That was all, Danny could say. On the inside, something kept shouting at him to just tell them but he just couldn't find the words. But Danny wasn't the only one that wanted to say something. Lagoona also wanted to tell Danny something but she was being held back by her fear as well.

Without anymore words the Ghoul Squad vanished in a pink flash of light, leaving Danny alone.

He sighed. "Great, I couldn't even find the courage to tell them the truth… so much for being brave. Maybe I should ask Sam and Tucker what they think."

And with that, Danny flew off, phasing through the warehouse roof and headed home.

Monster High

The Ghoul Squad had returned to the main hall to relax for a bit before heading to their dorm rooms. Draculaura had noticed Frankie seemed distracted by something.

"Everything alright, Frankie?" She asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, it's just something Danny said about ghosts being a thing in Amity Park for months." She explained.

"Yeah, what about it?" Asked Lagoona.

"Well, Monster High also has been around for months as well but only now has Skulker attacked us despite this place not being a secret to monsters, pretty much anyone who's used the Monster Web has heard about our school." Frankie clarified.

"Danny did say, Skulker was one of his enemies." Draculaura pointed out. "Maybe he only just now found out about us since he's spent most of his time hunting Danny."

"Yeah, you're likely right." Frankie admitted, although it still bugged her.

Ghost Zone

Skulker was back in his orginal suit, having recently thawed out from Danny's ice, the hunter was headed to report to his employer.

Coming to a halt at a swirling green portal, Skulker checked his surroundings before floating through it. What awaited him on the other side was a lab, and standing there with a smile was his employer, Vlad Masters.

Vlad was an older man in his 40s with white hair, blue eyes, and he wore a black suit with a read tie.

"I take it the hunt went well? I hope the equipment and information I gave you helped" Vlad asked.

Skulker growled. "At first… but then the ghost child interfered and I lost all of my prey."

Vlad's smile vanished. "But, I take it you still got what I asked you for?"

"Of course." Skulker said, handing over a large case.

Vlad placed the case on a table and opened it. Inside were over a dozen veils of various colored liquid, each labeled with the name of a monster.

"I had yet to get every type." Skulker admitted.

"This is enough." Vlad stated, his smile returning. "I'll handle the rest myself. I ask that you keep away from that school until I'm done with it."

Skulker nodded. "What do you plan on doing with those." He asked, looking at the case.

"Nothing you need to worry about." Vlad stated.

Skulker not wanting to upset his employer decided it was time to leave and left through the portal.

"Once again, Daniel, you become a thorn in my side but soon I'll have everything I need to rule it all." Vlad closed the case and placed it in a safe before deactivating his portal and returning to his public life.

End of Story.

Author Note: And there it is, the end of this introduction story. First things first, I didn't know whether or not if I should have split this chapter in two parts but in the end I simply decided to make it one chapter. Second, I 100% will make a continuation to this story, so if you like this one or found it interesting, I hope you'll enjoy the story, I have planned for what's to come. It will be longer than this one so don't worry about it's length. More characters such as Danny's friends and family will appear and so will Vlad, along with other characters from both series. And lastly, I would like to know who you guys think, Danny should be paired with? If you've followed the story, you can tell I favored Lagoona because she's my favorite character in Monster High but I'm always welcome to ideas and Danny having a love interest in the monster world is something I thought the actual series should have done in the form of giving him a love interest from the Ghost Zone to give him more of a connection to it but anyway please read & review and I'll see you in the continuation of this story.

Reviews:

simm36: Thanks, I plan on making a continuation to this fic and hope you find it interesting as well if you read it.

The Brod Road: Yeah, I'm pretty new to writing fanfics and I'm honestly surprised that people found this story interesting, I didn't know what people would think about a crossover between these two series but I'm glad people liked it. Yeah, I get that Skulker isn't big bad material so in the end he's not going to come of that way. The pairing is still open but I'm favoring Lagoona but that's just me, each are different but I'm open to hear what others think. Thanks for the review and your right, we can't have a story about Skulker and not have his true form appear. And Danny can't hide his secret forver.

jh831: Yeah, when I started this fic, I wanted it to be like them being introduced into each other's worlds and I didn't think Sam and Tucker were needed in this part of the story.

Grimmangel108: Thanks for the review, I know it was sort bit I hope to make the next continuation of this story longer which will likely be the case.

Leonardo: Thanks for the review, and yes, I do plan on making a continuation to this story. As for whether Danny and Lagoona being a couple, that is the idea I was going for in this story and will expand on it in the continuation of this story but I'm also open to if people think about him being paired with one of the other ghouls.
