So, as you can probably tell by me, the author, inserting himself here, this is going to get a bit meta.

I started writing this story almost six years ago. This was supposed to be my "mangum opus" after many unsuccessful previous attempts at writing good Battle Royale content. Life doesn't exactly make this process easy. For years and years, this story has stayed in the back of my mind. Where was the conclusion? Was this all it would amount to?

I decided it wouldn't. I had to be realistic and know that completing this story was going to be an undertaking that I do not have the luxury of time for anymore. But I couldn't leave it hanging. For anyone who has read the story over the years, I appreciate it so very much. Even if there's absolutely nobody out there reading this, I need to do this, if only for myself. I encourage anyone looking here to go back and read the previous chapters. I will post the part of Hour 16 that I do have done, and then I plan to just post...well, my rough draft. It's going to be quite unorganized and the grammar and syntax will be off. However, it will go into detail about what was going to happen during every single hour of this 63 hour game. I plan on making it more organized at some point, and will have succinct death recaps for anyone looking for those. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hour 16

Lynette Cascella (Girl #8) sat looking at the downpour. It made her feel happy. She had always been someone who enjoyed rain and gloomy days rather than sunny days. Lynette was taking shelter from the rain underneath the branches of a large tree in the middle of the woods. Though the tree did not completely shelter her, it would make do for the time being. Just as Lynette was beginning to think about how calm the steady downpour made her, it began to lighten up. Then, within a matter of seconds, the rain stopped completely.

"Thank fuck for that," Said Kalia Dorey (Girl #20). Lynette glanced over at her friend and smiled.

Tiger Hembrow (Boy #3) lifted his head off the ground and leaned onto Kalia's shoulder. Lynette's smile immediately turned into a frown.

"Finally we can just have some peace, man," Said Tiger as he kissed Kalia on the cheek. Lynette looked away, disgusted. The fact that she had been stuck with a man whom she loathed dearly for several hours had really been taking a toll on her. Over the course of the past several hours, Lynette had continued to plot ways in which she could kill Tiger without letting Kalia know. She wanted Kalia to go off somewhere so that she could commit her murderous plot. However, the three of them had not split up since they first found each other.

"Now that the rain has stopped I think I'm gonna try to get some shuteye," Said Kalia as she stretched her arms above her head.

"Kalia, what the fuck it's only 4-"Lynette stopped herself before finishing her sentence. A thought occurred.

"Yeah that sounds like a good idea," Lynette said, "Why don't we take turns sleeping. Two of us can sleep at a time while one keeps watch."

"I'm down for that," Tiger chimed in, "I can take the first watch."

"No," Lynette snapped back more quickly than she had meant to, "No, uh, I'll do the first watch, I'm really not very tired."

"You sure man cuz I'm not eith-," Tiger started before he was interrupted.

"It's totally fine," Replied Lynette, "I'll wake you guys up when the 6PM announcement comes on."

"Thanks," Repled Kalia. She was quick to take Lynette up on her offer, as she was extremely tired. Kalia rested her head against the tree and began to try to sleep despite the uncomfortable space she was in. Tiger shrugged and rested his head next to Kalia's.

"Hey, I think it would be best if one of you slept on the other side of the tree," Said Lynette.

Kalia opened her eyes and asked why.

"Well...that way if someone comes from the other side you might be able to hear them before I can," Lynette said, coming up with that idea on the spur of the moment.

"Whatever man," Replied Tiger. He got up and walked over to the other side of the tree. Kalia rolled over onto her side and shut her eyes.

Lynette smiled. She had them separated now. All she needed to do was wait long enough for them to both fall asleep. She would then make her move. Lynette planned to kill Tiger quickly without him being able to make a sound. She would then scream and act as though someone had attacked him and run off.

Lynette knew the plan was a bit out there, but in her mind it was the only way she could act out her plan for the foreseeable future. All she had to do now was wait.

Hour 16-Elysia and Missy travel to the gas station to look for food where they encounter Nigella. Her and Missy do not have a good relationship. Tensions flare and the two newcomers eventually leave.

Lynette attempts to kill Tiger but he wakes up in the nick of time. Ultimately, it is Kalia who manages to kill Lynette.

Switch to Arianna thinking about Linden and how he was still out. How she's worried her sister might end up killing him. Arianna tells her this isn't a show that favors the rich.

Hour 26-Milo suggests that maybe the big group go to the lighthouse and try to signal someone there. Others are a bit worried since it's all the way across the map. Milo says maybe they can find Caydon this way. Eventually they all agree. Lee reluctantly.

Rosanna searches around the library for a better weapon and eventually finds an ax in an emergency box and admires it.

Carter and Lee break into an old store while passing through town and are unknowingly stalked by Oliver. They see that there was damage to a back window and figure people must have rioted when they found out they had to leave the island (as almost all the actual food groceries were gone). Perry (first appearance in quite some time!) finds Linden in the treehouse and immediately goes to embrace his ex-boyfriend. However, Linden shoves him off. Once Perry brings up the time they used to date, Linden says he has no idea what he is talking about. This was my first "twist" for the story-earlier it was mentioned that Perry and Linden used to date. However, this was all in Perry's mind. He had just stalked and become hyper focused and obsessed with him, to the point where he had imagined them dating. Perry, out of rage and a break in mental health, murders Linden for denying their relationship by pushing him from the very high up treehouse.

Hour 30-Announcements: Tula and Linden dead.

The fight between Darren and Red against Saphira continues. Shayna joins in against Saphira. Saphira knows she's outnumbered and manages to escape, but not before wounding Darren.

Hour 33-The people in the lighthouse are taking shifts keeping guard at the top. The paranoia developing between the various characters would be developed here.

Hour 34-Oliver had fallen asleep hidden in foliage from outside the lighthouse and had been asleep for the past few hours. He cursed himself for this and kept psyching himself up in his mind, reminding himself how important it would be for his family for him to win this.

She apologizes but says it's a game she has to win before killing him too.

Hour 43-Roberta has led the others in their plan to head down as close as they can to the shoreline. The group go to the beach and wait for a boat to pass. Roberta volunteers to play dead on the beach in order to get a boat to come.

Kalia, Cam, and Ethel had left the building they were in as it had also become a danger zone (due to the game producers manipulating where the danger zones would be in order to cause interactions) and are ambushed by Shadrach. Shadrach kills Kalia and the other two are on the run from him once again.

Sara had been hiding in a little cave on the side of the mountain for hours since her sister had been murdered. Tiara finally discovers her. Boat approaches the shore. Man gets out to retrieve Roberta's body. As he gets close to her Lee runs to attack him. However, the man is able to act quickly and shoots Lee, instantly killing him. He points the gun at the rest of the group and tells them that if they try to ambush another government worker like that their families would be brutally tortured and that there was no way they could escape. He then drags Lee's body off leaving the others with extremely low morale.

Elysia and Sheila bond as they reminisce about their time back at school, how they were fairly opposite people but for some reason were drawn to each other.

Hour 46-Cam walks through the open trying to potentially draw Shadrach's attention while keeping a close lookout, as well as Ethel watching vigilantly.

Cut to a flashback of Shadrach as a young child hearing his mom and dad argue. He hears a loud noise and then silence. He goes to peek into their room and experiences his father brutally beat his mother. He finds himself fascinated and oddly aroused by this.

Back in the present, Shadrach has stumbled upon someone….but it is not Cam.

He has found the large group. Shadrach attempts to ambush the group. In the ensuing panic, Sheila manages to run off with Elysia while the other three stay and fight.

Cam and Ethel continue to move along and are ambushed by Horatio. However, Cam acts quickly, pulling a gun out and shooting Horatio once in the chest. Ethel is relieved, but questions how Cam has a gun. Cam explained that he had found it as a "special prize" while out looking for Shadrach. Ethel questions why he kept it secret and Cam insists he was planning to tell her eventually. The two run off together.

Shayna then continues to see images of Barbara continuing to fill her mind. She stumbles upon Carter, Lindsay, and Roberta and instantly sees Roberta as Barbara. Shayna immediately charges toward her yelling about how she won't take her abuse anymore. The others try to restrain Shayna without killing her and she appears to have calmed down. At this point Parsons begins to stealthily and quietly start killing some of the soldiers one by one. This was the second big twist of the game. Parsons was the one who had killed Itzel in the beginning . Despite seeming to be very interested in the game all along, Parsons had been against it from the start and now he was making his moves. He wanted to try to free the last remaining students.

Elysia and Sheila had found a small house to stay in. Horatio approaches the house. He sees Elysia with her crutches on the inside and rushes in to attack. However, he is ambushed by Sheila who was hiding around the corner. He curses himself for being so stupid before being knocked unconcious. Sheila helps Elysia and the two run away.

Carter wakes up a few hours later and realizes that all of his money is gone and the girl is nowhere to be found. He ends up telling his gang members about this and he is mocked by Gustavo, saying he let a girl trick him and that men couldn't be taken advantage of that way. Carter is comforted by Jack later. Carter then wakes up to an announcement over the loudspeaker. Parsons is telling the remaining 5 that the game is over and to meet at the school-before he is cut off.

Hour 58-Mr. Wright, the principal, had been there all along to watch his students participate in The Program. He had come up behind Mr. Parsons during his announcement and murdered him. Horatio making rounds around the remaining safe zones looking stealthily for victims.

Hour 61-Carter sees Ethel and Cam. He leaps down at them and an epic fight commences. Lindsay jumps down from the tree and sees the panic on Cam's face. Ethel tries to shoot Carter but he wrestles the gun away. Cam tries to get involved but Lindsay tackles him to the ground and pins him down. Cam begs for Lindsay to let him up and her heart breaks, but she refuses to give up and continues to hold him down as he fights.

The fight between Carter and Ethel would last for a couple minutes, with each exchanging blows. It would come down to fists at some points, some of them grabbing weapons occasionally, and both trying to take control of the gun. Carter gets the upper hand and delivers what would be a fatal blow, but Ethel dodges away just in time. She is finally able to get the gun and ultimately kill Carter. Lindsay sees this and runs.

Hour 62- Ethel aims the gun at Lindsay but a shot from behind catches her in the back of the leg and she collapses. Horatio is there. Cam quickly grabs the gun from Ethel and fires several shots in succession at Horatio. He falls over. However, the shots all hit his chest. Cam does his best to help Ethel up and does not notice Horatio getting up in the background. Ethel looks over and sees him. She shoves Cam out of the way as a barrage of bullets head their way. Cam is just out of range and the bullets pelt Ethel, ultimately killing her. Cam runs from the shots and takes shelter behind a group of trees. There he sees Lindsay where he begs her not to kill him. Lindsay suggests that the two of them need to team up against Horatio.

Here is the last epic "grand finale" fight. Lindsay and Cam vs. Horatio. Horatio has the superior firepower as well as the bulletproof vest, however slowly but surely Lindsay and Cam manage to gain the upperhand. This fight would also last quite a while, but would ultimately end in Horatio, the game's ultimate statistician, falling dead.

Hour 63-Cam and Lindsay talk and bond, ultimately trying to decide what they should do. They debate drawing straws or just straight up fighting. Lindsay talks about her daughter which leads to Cam producing his gun and pointing it at her. He says "Sorry, but I've made the decision for us." Lindsay closes her eyes ready for the shot, however Cam turns the gun on himself. LINDSAY IS THE WINNER!

Afterwards: Lindsay is reunited with her daughter and receives enough money to financially support themselves for life. She uses some of this money to help fund an underground resistance organization.
