Chapter 6: Issei's resolve.

Issei consumed by rage after the death of his parents stood on the sport where he had wiped out Katerea. Roaring his rage at the heavens causing the earth to quake beneath him. Ddraig who had allowed Katerea to be killed by Issei lands in front of him.

"Hey partner, you have done it you have avenged them. Come on it time to go home."

"Ddraigggg I… help… me… I am not like thissss."

"Its ok partner just accept you have a dark side everyone does even heroes. If you accept it, it can no longer control you. Accept your inner beast Issei! I know you are strong you have got this."

"I will try….."

Ddraig senses a change as the other bonds appear beside him. Issei's dragon aspects power begins to dim and his form begins to turn back to that of a human. There is an immense shock wave shoving them back leaving Issei standing there naked. He begins to fall forward and Ddraig gently catches him.

"You did well partner. It is alright rest now we take care of it."

Ddraig easily lifts Issei though he is unsure of wear to take him. Spinning around upon hearing footfalls. Ddraig is surprised to see Tsubaki standing there. He smiles and nods.

"He is ok, just resting after the rampage. Though both places he could stay are destroyed. I am not sure where to go."

Tsubaki's normally serious expression softens taking a step towards Issei and stroking his cheeky gently. She then smiles and adjusts her eye wear before looking at Ddraig he can come live at my place until he is on his feet again."

Before Ddraig could answer Anila and Mira jump forward both going red in the face."

"No you don't! Don't think of using this to put the moves on him!"

Flare just shrugs and takes them both by the ear dragging them off. Ddraig just rolls his eyes. Gaion tries to chuckle but only manages to sound like an avalanche.

Tsubaki's expression becomes serious and turns to walk away.

"Ignore them, thank you for the offer we accept."

"Then gather close I will transport us to my home with my magic."

"I trust you enough Tsubaki lets go."

Tsubaki nods and begins her spell with the massive magic circle appearing the ground around them. She nods and Ddraig steps forward as his comrades vanish from sight. No standing beside Tsubaki they vanish and the circle disappears. Only for them to appear in the middle of a rather modern but neatly designed living room. Ddraig turns his head around and nods his approval.

"This way place Ddraig."

Ddraig follows Tsubaki into a bed room and she gestures to for Ddraig to put Issei down on the bed. Ddraig gently sets him down on the bed. Tsubaki sits in a seat she has positioned at the side room.

"So what should our next step be Ddraig? They seem to find Issei where ever he goes."

"Yet you still brought him here. Once he wakes up, I will begin training him in his dragon aspect and refine it I hope. It is to dangerous and destructive as it is controlled by his rage. Balor's stink is visible to us so I will have the others go out and destroy anyone he finds in connection to Balor the higher up the chain they go the better. Though you take a big risk allowing us to stay here."

"I will protect him. You don't know they joy he brings to the school and those around him. Most of the girls like him and students such as myself, Sona and even Rias have noticed and are fond of him. Now he is been dragged into a world he had been kept out of. His mother and father are now gone, he finds out some of those he attends school with are not what they seem. Is it wrong for me to want to protect him?"

"No Tsubaki it is not, though if you have feelings for him you could just say. Its plain as day even to me."

Ddraig smiles as Tsubaki blushes and looks unsure of herself. He laughs loudly as Issei stirs. Ddraig kneels beside the bed as Issei's eyes flutter open and raises his to hand to his head in pain.

"Easy partner your safe. You are in Tsubaki's home we moved you here after the attack on the safehouse."

"After my rampage you mean. Is it true are they truly gone?"

Ddraig nods as Tsubaki strokes his head and nods.

"I see…"

Tears begin to welingl up in his eyes and Tsubaki pulls in him close giving him a huge hug. Holding him close trying to comfort him

"It will be ok, let it all out its ok."

Issei starts wailing and sobbing as Tsubaki continues to say comforting words to him. Ddraig stands watching the two interact and turns his back to them, his closing his eyes he opens them again to find tears running down his scaled face.

"I'll be right back Tsubaki, we will avenge them Issei this I swear."

Ddraig vanishes but reappears on the roof and looks to the sky. He is joined the other bonded to Issei. He looks at each one of them in turn and they all nod in respect towards him.

"You all know what to do. While I train Issei and try to refine his dragon aspect. I want the rest of you to find balor's minions not matter how high or how low they are and end every single one of them. Send the evil king a message he wont forget."

They all nod and vanish, turning back Ddraig banishes and reappearing in the room in which Issei was resting to find him sitting up no longer the innocent boy. Now he looked a man and a man with with purpose.

"Ddraig! I need to learn to fight."

"Why Issei why do you need to fight. You have all of us for that."

"I have to protect people my mother and father have gone I won't lose anyone else. I will be become a protector. I will fight to keep those I love safe! I ask you to help better myself."

"Don't worry partner that was the plan, but I am glad to hear ask. Judging by the expression on your face the feelings I get through our bond you are very serious. She begin but once we give your family a proper sending to the life after."

Issei nods in response then frowns again.

"I don't know to to organise such a thing."

"It is ok Issei formerly being a Shrine Maiden I know of funeral rights and who to contact to have the arrangements made. Will you allow me to handle it for you?"

Issei nods and turns the women melting smile on Tsubaki.

"Thank you Tsubaki you are the best."

Tsubaki turns away and blushes and Ddraig smiles.

"Ok that is going to be taken care of that. Rest up Issei I will return soon. Have fun you lovebirds."

Ddraig casually gestures and vanishes leaving both Issei with Tsubaki sitting there in an awkward silence. Issei still blushing takes Tsubaki's hand in his and looks directly at her.

"Hey so… would you want to ummm. I not sure to say this… Will you want to go out with me?"

Tsubaki doesn't say anything but leans in and kisses Issei passionately leaving Issei gasping for air.

"Yes Issei I will. My sweet little Issei."

She leans forward and two lock lips once again. While standing outside Ddraig was listening as well as noticing his emotional changes. He wouldn't let them do that though after all they only just started relationship. With a sigh and a deep breath Ddraig vanishes and reappearing in the room ready to chastise them both, yet wondering how long he had to train Issei before Balor struck again.
