Flashback- The fall of Saporia

As a great kingdom slept in the dead of night, the citizens of Saporia could have never predicted the horrendous events that would take place. A silent war had been building between two great rulers of two great kingdoms but a jealous king would be the first to strike a bloody blow that would change the lives of three sisters forever.

Within the dead of night, an army marched through the dark forest that rested between the two great kingdoms of Saporia and ancient Corona. As the soldiers forced their way through the great gates of the kingdom on the back of their horses, drawing their swords and lighting their torches they let their carnage unfold. Setting ablaze to anything they could find, all in the name of their king. The King of Corona.

The kingdom's warning bell went off but it was too late. Screams erupted from every corner of the kingdom as flames engulfed the homes of the sleeping victims, waking to nothing but fire and ash. The night sky that was once silent now was lit by the uncontrollable fire that spread across Saporia. As civilians tried to escape the murderous acts of the soldiers who swung their swords and shot their arrows it was clear no one stood a chance.

as most citizens tried to evade the merciless soldiers some tried to fight with what they could but most met a bloody end. Unprepared for such an attack.

Witnessing the tall red flames rapidly flee towards her home a young woman quickly woke her children who were still unaware of war brewing outside their window.

"Wake up my darlings, We have to go now, the Woman said frantically as she shook her daughters from their slumbers, quickly we don't have any time." Frantically gathering what she could, searching for warmer clothes for her and her daughters to put on.

"Mummy what's going on!" Her oldest girl said with concern as she watched her mother dash around the room searching for clothes. However, the woman didn't answer only giving the young girl a pair of clothes and shoes to put on.

"Put these on Now we have to leave." The woman wasted no time dressing the two younger sisters as they took too slowly dressing.

"TALINE, NOW!" the woman bellowed at her oldest child who still stood in the middle of the room confused.

Doing what she was told Taline quickly put on her clothes when a loud bang erupted from outside, the sound smashing the window in the bedroom to pieces. Jumping at the sudden sound Taline ran towards the broken window to see what was happening. However, what she witnessed made her stomach turn and the blood in her body turn cold. Soldiers dressed in gold and red set alight their neighbor's house across from them. As they tried to flee they were caught and brutally killed with one swing of their blades. Hearing them scream in pain Taline covered her mouth with shaky hands as she tried to muffle her own screams of terror. She watched as they were repeatedly stabbed.

The woman pulled Taline from the window, turning Taline to face her. Cradling her daughter's face as Taline's body shook uncontrollably. "Breathe...breathe my darling. As Taline took a deep breath as her mother tried to calm her. Looking into her mother's grey eyes, Taline began to stop shaking. " We have to leave but I need you to be strong okay we have to survive but in order to do so we have to be focused...okay. The woman said as softly as she could but shaky breaths crept through her voice.

"Yes, Mummy"

" Take Magnolia's hand don't let it go and stay close to me." The woman said as she picked up her youngest who clung to her with fear.

" Mama where are we going?" Magnolia cried as they rushed down the stairs and made their way to the front door.

"Somewhere safe." The woman whispered. pulling the door ajar the woman checked for the quickest route away from danger. The street was filled with people running from the hot flames that started to spread to their corners. Bodies also began to fill the street floors as soldiers pulled victims from their homes to slaughter them. "We have to make it to the river outside the kingdom." The woman said to her girls quietly. Running across dead bodies and crowds of frantic people the woman ran down the tight alleyways. A shortcut away from populated areas that would be filled with Coronian soldiers. Dodging the bursting flames that crept over them as the fire grew closer the woman made sure her daughters remain close to her at every turn.

Passing by torched buildings and torn down statues the place they once called home was no more. Every home and street was filled with bodies or screaming people that made the woman hold her daughter closer to her chest, covering her ears at the unsettling wails of their people. Until they came to a fork in the road. Abruptly stopping at the end of the multiple alleyways they were now at by the open wide street that lead towards the back entrance of the kingdom. However armed soldiers on their horses raced past them shouting vile things as they cut down people as they tried to flee. Staying out of sight The woman waited patiently as the soldiers caught a couple of civilians, torturing them before they ended them. As they rode off turning the corner to where more people screamed and fleed, the woman took her chance and ran with her daughters.

"Evanthe! Please help...help us!" Turning abruptly she saw a man and his son running behind them but closely on their tail was a Coronian soldier, his sword drawn. The woman, Evanthe knew the man. She had helped the man and his family when they were sick, providing them with remedies and potions to cure them. However as quickly as the man screamed for help he was slaughtered in front of his son who watched in horror.

"Papa!" The young boy yelled as he fell to his feet defeated. The Smiling soldier got off his horse checking his kill before he turned to the young boy to do the unthinkable. Putting her daughter down Evanthe rose her hand and the brick ground around the soldier began to shake and crack, setting his horse to run off in fear.

"WHAT IS THIS!" The soldier shouted and within seconds the soldier was entangled in vines that sprouted from the ground. Tightening around every limb, the vines reached his throat and like a hang man's noose, it tighten. The soldier was now lifeless. " RUN!" Evanthe shouted at the boy who quickly ran past them as more soldiers appeared around the corner behind him.

Witnessing one of their own entangled in multiple thick green vines, dead, They rode towards Evanthe and her daughters. " WITCHES! Kill them all!" Picking up her daughter again Evanthe and her daughters ran as fast as they could towards the gates as the soldiers rode closer and closer.

Making it past the gates, they raced into the thick forest where the river ran. " Mother they are coming!" Taline cried but Evanthe continued to run towards the cold waters. Quickly conjuring a big enough wooden boat Evanthe placed her daughters within it.

"Mummy, get in the boat quickly before-"

" Listen to me girls, at the end of this river you will find a path that will lead you to your new home. A place that only witches can find. You will be safe there." Evanthe said quickly.

What do you mean? Taline said frantically. Desperately clinging to her mother's arms Taline and her young sisters tried to pull their mother to the boat. "mummy please don't leave us, please" Taline begged. Tears began running down her face but Evanthe quickly wipe them away. Turning around the Soldiers were now on foot. Struggling to get through the vines Evanthe had sprouted to buy them some time.

"I have to hold them off my darling. They will follow us if I don't" Kissing Taline's forehead Evanthe gently took her daughter's hands off her.

Mama, please come in the boat Magnolia cried as she too refused to let go. Kissing the two young girls Evanthe also tore herself from them.

Mama! wailed her youngest as she reached her arms out for her.

"I'm sorry my sweethearts but I must keep you safe. Mummy loves you more than anything in this world." Pushing the boat away from her Evanthe touched the freezing cold water, whispering something under her breath the water picked up speed.

"Mama! Mama, Please Don't do this we need you...Mummy!" The screams and wails of her daughters tore her heart apart but Evanthe continued. The current pushed the boat carrying her girls further and further away until they were no longer in sight.

Turning towards the soldiers who had finally broken free from the vines race towards her however they quickly regretted it. With nothing left to lose now Evanthe unleashed what she had left of her strength. Taking a deep breath she allowed the soldiers to run into the waters coming close to her. Before the soldier could lay a hand on her more water began to rush from behind them. Stopping in their tracks they turned to see an enormous wave rush towards them.

" Run!" one soldier said as he tried to escape but Evanthe let the river bed sink where the soldiers told. Stuck in place.

Within Moments they were engulfed by the water and the river was once again quiet as lifeless bodies laid face down in the water. Creating a magical barrier, Evanthe didn't let the wave touch her but before she could go back to help her kingdom an arrow flung into her side bringing her to her knees. All the magic she had conjured on the soldiers had weakened her body.

"You were a strong witch but not powerful enough to stop inevitable." Another soldier appeared from the bushes. He was the last one to get through the vines and escaped her notice.

"At least my children got a way you and your fucking soldiers failed," Evanthe said with such venom. The soldier laughed as drew another arrow and Evanthe closed her eyes praying her daughters made it to the coven safely.

Present day

As the sisters continued to chat away or argue more like about what they were going to eat later tonight, they hadn't realized they had come to their next destination. At the end of the rocky path of the forest, a small crumbling archway stood before them.

Stepping through the crumbling archway, The sisters took in the sight of what was left of a lost kingdom. Covered in vegetation, the ancient kingdom was a part of the forest that now thrived in its place. Many centuries ago this place was vibrant, home to magical kind, non-magical, and birthed new inventions that surpassed other kingdoms of its time, unfortunately, that is what brought on its downfall.

Whatever the sisters were arguing about had quickly died down into dead silence as they took in what lay in front of them. This was the first time they had been back her here together since that night. Here they stood in the ruins of Saporia.

Walking in complete silence, Gothel felt uneasy as they traveled deeper into the ruins. The soft warm winds that brushed across her face caused nothing but goosebumps on her pale skin. Every turn and step made her legs heavy as her mind pieced together her old life. The deserted place she was venturing into was once her home...her birthplace.

The story of this place had been twisted and changed to make a mockery of what truly happened here. The lives lost that night were now left to history to forget. A celebration for the clueless Coronian people but a horrid nightmare for Gothel.

The heavy feeling in her legs made Gothel's pace slower than her sisters who were perfectly happy to briskly walked ahead but this only made Gothel get lost in her thoughts more. She hadn't been back here since she was a child and to be honest she was kind of happy she hadn't returned. The happy memories that rested here were overshadowed by the hot flames and smoke that engulfed the entire kingdom that unfaithful night. She had lost her childhood here at such a young age but also her family life before she was whisked away to the coven. The warm fuzzy feeling of her family life here felt so distant now... especially when she had spent centuries pretending it never happen.

The feeling of happiness, true happiness washed over her like a wave of nostalgia. It was a foreign feeling now that she had lived a life of cruelness, selfishness, and greed. Loneliness had made her heart dark and bitter, the only light in her life being the daughter she stole. A light she knew wouldn't be long extinguished when the truth came forth.

Walking past the collapsed stone buildings of homes and shops Gothel felt like a shadow of her former self. The old promises she made to herself when she was a young girl came rushing back like arrows, hitting every inch of her heart...well whatever was left of it. The young girl who once lived here was nothing but a ghost that haunted every nook and cranny of this forgotten place.

The little girl her mother had fought to protect had been nothing but a disappointment. A disgrace to a woman who gave up everything for her daughters. Pulling out the grey cotton stuffed animal brought it to her lips. The soft fabric on her skin brought some comfort to her but the smell that lingered on the toy made it bittersweet.

Gothel had snuck the wooly toy into her bag as she couldn't bring herself to part with it. She wasn't a woman that held onto sentimental things like this but being with her sisters had risen a feeling of unconditional love. Love she had feared for so long after her son's death and what she had denied her daughters. The kind of love her own mother had died for to protect her and her sisters.

Since they had left the cottage Gothel hadn't felt the same. Reminders of the past haunted every corner of her mind and the anxious thoughts of Zhan Tiri approaching closer to the physical world made everything real. She could hide in the shadows anymore, for once she had to face the lies and mistakes unraveling in front of her.

"Can you believe she brought us here to collect bones?" Magnolia said as she waited for Gothel to catch up.

"WHAT?," Gothel barely registered what her sister had said. Swiftly putting the small toy back in her bag when she noticed they had reached a clearing of the rubble of stone and dirt. "Bones?"

" Yeah, didn't you hear this woman wants us to disturb the dead?," disgust crept onto Gothel's face as Magnolia explained the sick plan their sister had for them.

"I am not touching bones or carrying them all the way home," Gothel quickly stressed but a cheeky smile rose onto Mag's face, " What?"

Pinching Gothel's cheek Magnolia teased, " You said home...you do love us after all."

Rolling her eyes Gothel ushered her sister away from her person, "It was a mistake."

Getting straight to the task at hand Taline looked at her notebook for reference as she brought her hands up to chant in an old language long gone from the world. As she spoke the words over and over again the spell quickly started to take effect. The stone and dirt began to collapse within themselves, digging a deeper hole. Like a sink hole, it got wider and took more stone and other debris down with it until Taline dropped her hands stopping the spell immediately.

Walking closer to the hole in the ground, Taline whispered more ancient words which began to pull what look like debris from it but as they floated closer towards her it appeared to be bones. Gothel and Mag watched in complete amazement at their sister's sheer power. She was always a talented witch especially when it came to plants and natural elements but even ancient magic didn't stop her from expressing her talent.

Collecting the bones Taline looked at her sisters who still looked lost in awe. "What are you two doing? start collecting the bones, we don't have all day."

Quickly getting to work Gothel was careful not to be too rough as the bones were fragile, wrapping them in cloth she pasted them to Magnolia who gently stored them in her bag.

"May I ask why we need bones from here?" Gothel said as dusted the dirt from her red dress in disgust.

" We need bones from a shared pasted...a traumatic past," Taline explained " This was the only place I could think of...I know it's hard being her here but-

"Mother would have wanted us to visit at some point," Magnolia said softly this was the place she helped build for us and many others like us. A kingdom where magical folk and non-magical could live together in peace.

Taline and Gothel both scoffed as their sister idolized the past. " Magnolia we are children anymore stop talking like this place was a fairytale," Taline said sternly.

"You sound just like Grandmother Morrigan, she often filled your cynical brain with false truths. Well, I guess that was to happen when you were pretty much her right hand...and favourite." Magnolia's statement made Taline's blood pressure rise. Looking at her sister Gothel immediately put distance between herself and her sisters. sensing an argument bubbling to boiling point.

" You and Gothel were only babies when Saporia fell apart I was the only one old enough to know what was going on. This kingdom attracted too much interest which only rose questions in other ancient kingdoms...Saporia was advanced but stupid to realize the jealousy rising around them, that's the reality. As for being the favourite to a woman who only took interest in my abilities not what I personally wanted out of life, I was the only one fit enough to take over the responsibility of the coven. You and Gothel were too busy finding yourselves, I had to get on with it. " Taline spat as Magnolia and Gothel stood in shock. " Mother would have wanted us to stay together but you both had other plans and issues to deal with, she would have wanted us to return to a place that tore that dream apart."

Gothel could see the pain in her older sister's eyes. Taline didn't often show her emotional side a common trait in the family well except for Magnolia who wore her heart on her sleeve, like her Rapunzel. Gothel never thought her sisters had it rough at the coven as she did as Grandmother loathed non-magical folk like herself. However, the pressure of being the older one did make sense especially when she had to be the stronger one for their sake.

" I'm sorry...I didn't mean for it to sound like I was judging you. I knew the pressure you were under Taline. You are my sister I looked up to figurately and physically, Magnolia smiled with bittersweetness in her voice. " Grandmother wanted me to just like you...just as talented but my talent rested elsewhere. I was never meant to be a leader not in the way she wanted."

I know Taline said she slowly began to relax again. Gothel listened to her sisters and for the first time in a long time, she realise they had felt just like she did growing up. Lost. Pulling out the wooly stuffed toy Gothel held it tight to her chest. " I wanted to prove to Grandmother that I was more than my beauty, that I was capable of great things and smart enough to do it. I guess that was why it was so easy to turn to Zhan Tiri. He promised greatness and I thought I could outsmart him," Gothel said as looked back at the toy. " Now Cassandra has to suffer from my stupid mistake,"

"Cassandra? "

"My lost daughter."

Flashback 22 years ago

Between the cold winds brushing against her exposed chest and the chilling droplets of rain falling from the branches above her, Gothel sat quietly watching her baby suckle peacefully in her arms. Staring at the tiny chubby face of her infant daughter Gothel softly brushed away the cold droplets of rain that had fallen there. Wrapping the blanket closer to the baby's body, Gothel couldn't help but play with the tiny curls of hair that poked their way through the tiny brown bonnet. Feeling the soft black curls brushing against her slender fingertips Gothel took note of the resemblance of the hair she had passed on to her baby. "You have my hair," Gothel whispered to the infant.

The baby only cooed in response as she finished nursing, staring back at Gothel with a happy gummy smile. Gothel however remained distant, afraid to smile back at the innocent reaction the baby had to her voice. It had been a couple of weeks when Gothel made the decision to send her daughter away. Ever since she made the deal with Zhan Tiri about her baby Gothel knew it would be a matter of time before he made his way through the shadows, taking over everything in his path for world dominance. She didn't have much of a choice when the warlock found out she had found the Golden flower through his nosy disciples. The bastard had used whatever magic he had left to do so. Hiding for centuries hadn't worked and here she was holding on to what she had left of her heart. She hadn't planned to deliver on the deal but one thing had led to another and here she was her daughter in her arms.

Making herself Presentable again Gothel continued down the footpath through the woods. It had been a couple of hours but it wasn't too long until she reached a small village. Old Corona. Stealthily maneuvering through the streets of the village, the infant began to fuss which alert Gothel. The last thing she need was a crying baby waking the town folk. She needed to remain in the shadows of night, "Shh! you must be quiet for Mummy," Gothel pleaded with baby as her wails echo through the quiet streets.

Bouncing the baby with desperation only seemed to make things worst. Her tiny cheeky turning a deep red and her grey eyes puffing up with tears. "Hursh now! this isn't the time," Quicky sticking her finger into the baby's mouth, the cries finally died down just a bit. It was clear the baby was getting tired and possibly hungry again but Gothel was only around the corner from her destination. Carefully rocking the baby closer to her Gothel swiftly carried on through the streets until she came to a tiny house. The lights were still on and the chimley was still puffing out smoke.

Gothel was relieved someone was home as she quietly approached the doorstep. She had seen the couple who lived here early the previous morning. They seem good and stable which felt like a good match for her daughter. Well, she hoped anyway. Looking back at her baby Gothel took in her daughter's features for the last time. She felt a wave of fear wash over her, was this mistake but she quickly pushed away doubt and hesitation. All that mattered was what she wanted which was the golden flower magic and to be free of Zhan Tiri's twisted games of power.

Pulling a small card from her cloak pocket, she tucked it under the folds of the blanket. The note wasn't anything special, only containing the baby's name. She had to be afraid to say it out loud when she settled on it. She knew it was perfect for the girl, Naming her after the Trojan goddess of Prophecies, she just prayed that what this child was destined for didn't come true. Gothel gently placed the baby fuss on the cold stone doorstep which caused the baby to cry once again which of caused alerted the people inside. Hearing the foots getting closer Gothel made herself scarce.

Running as fast as could Gothel bolted through the streets towards the woods. She took no notice of the tears running down her cheek or the sudden empty feeling that engulfed her. She was free to do as she pleased.

However back at the tiny house, a woman with black hair was shocked to find a small baby by her front door, "Honey it's a baby?! Someone left a baby on our doorstep!" The young woman quickly picked up the baby rocking her, The woman's husband a tall stocky man approached, popping out of the house to check for any signs of the parents.

" Who would leave such a beautiful baby? The young woman stated as she smiled at the baby whose cries began to subside. Noticing the tucked note in the blanket the woman smiled once again at the baby.

"What should we do?

"Well, first let's Bring her inside it's cold out here."

"Her?"

"Yes...her name is Cassandra."

The present day back at the coven

The weeks had gone by and Rapunzel and Cassandra still weren't closer to knowing the truth of Cassandra's wolf visions. The only thing they had learned was the entire history of the coven's family. From six times great uncle Aristotle the mad wizard to the hopeless romantic fifth great cousin Effie known for her love potions. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

"So let's get this straight this witch Grandmother Morrigan, who died 300 years ago at the whopping age of 204 years hated humans so much that she kicked her only daughter out when she married a human," Cassandra said reading through ancient text her new friend had found.

"Yes, My Grandmother, her name is Evanthe...I mean was." Rapunzel watched as Cassandra sank into her chair in defeat.

Closing the book she was reading she brought her attention back to Cass, "We must be close to the answer."

" You said that last time."

Cassandra was losing her patients. She was desperate for answers and the only person she was beginning to think could provide such answers wasn't around. Well, at least not yet. " When do you think Taline will return?"

"I'm not sure. My mother told me they would be gone for a couple of days but it's been weeks."

Rapunzel had enjoyed her time away from her mother but she was starting to worry. This was the longest she had been away from her and, to be honest, she missed her. Just a little. Having some time apart and being around her new friend Cassandra had granted her a new sense of freedom and confidence. Cass wasn't so overbearing as her mother. Helping Rose with the children and attending to the beautiful gardens made her feel calm. Of course, Gothel's words still lingered in her head but all the duties Rose had given her distracted her. However, she hoped once her mother returned she would finally see that she was ready for the world. To be able to step outside of the four walls of the coven into the big vast world she craved.

"Rapunzel? are you okay?"

Uh..Oh sorry, I was just thinking about...

"Your mother again...You miss her." Cassandra said catching Rapunzel in mid-thought.

Rapunzel only nodded in response. She was embarrassed to admit it.

" It's okay to miss your parents you know...I miss mine too." Cassandra confessed as she watched Rapunzel relax again.

"Your Father?"

"And my mother," Cassandra said softly. She never really spoke of her adoptive mother but when she did she was flooded with a mixture of sadness and joyful memories. Cassandra and Rapunzel had spoken on the topic of their parents before and to her surprise, she had been easy to talk to. It was weird how close she had gotten with Rapunzel in such a small space of time but she made it easier for her to relax in a place she didn't understand. A great distraction from the swirling questions in her head.

" As much as I like doing my own thing I still miss my mother and with all this information about my magic, my mother would have loved it. She always believe I was special. Cassandra smiled at the fond memory but her smile quickly disappeared. " My father however isn't fond of magic. He believes the stuff is nonsense."

Cassandra stood by the window watching the clouds slowly move across the bright blue sky, The weather had been peaceful but for Cassandra, it was a reminder of the calm before the storm. She felt like Rose was hiding something but the woman was like a locked vault. No matter what she asked the woman was quick to end the conversation. Only telling her that once Mother superior came back she will tell her everything. Whatever they were withholding she feared it wasn't good.

"Are you afraid that your father might not understand your new connections to this magic"

"Of course. He'll probably think I've gone mad or something. However, I won't tell him not until I get the full picture." Cassandra sighed as she pondered on her thoughts again.

"Well judging what you told me about him, I think he would love you no matter what. Witch or no witch" Rapunzel smiled and Cassandra appreciated the kind words. " I wish my Mother was like your father, so accepting of your adventures into the scary world. Mother won't even let me leave this place because of my hair. A gift like this has to be protective."

"Bullshit! You are old enough to choose your fate Rapunzel. You can protect your hair with or without your mother. I have seen the way you use your hair, nobody stands a chance. You just have to put your foot down when she says you can't."

I have but-

"Well try harder and if she still doesn't back off just do it anyway. It's your life Rapunzel and we only live it once so make the most of it or you be here until your ancient like the books in this library."

Cassandra noticed Rapunzel's uneasiness but she could sense a new kick of life in her eyes. Just like her she too had to face the unknown but they just had to do it.

Although saying that the girl hadn't noticed a ball of magic forming in the library not too far from where they stood. In the corner of her eye, she quickly noticed the ball of magic starting to take shape of what looked like a wolf. It was happening again and this time Rapunzel was there to see it.

"The wolf...I see it!" Rapunzel yelp in amazment. The magical wolf was beautiful to the eye as she watched its ghostly-like appearance dance gracefully across the room. " What is it doing?"

"I...I don't know!" Cassandra watched the spirit twist and turn about the room like an excited puppy until it charged toward her. Passing through her Cassandra felt a wave of magic travel through every nerve and bone in her body. It was pulling her to follow it and she did.

The spirit continued to bounce around the library until it circle a particular book. The book burst open, its pages turned with such force that they almost ripped from its binding cover. It wasn't long before the pages came to a halt and the words on the page began to glow. Highlighting the words that it wanted Cassandra to see.

Picking up the book Cassandra read the page the spirit had shown her. Her eyes grew wide as she took in the information one sentence at a time. Each word engraving into her mind as she put the book down, unable to believe the truth she was stood.

The wolf slowly circled Cassandra again until it rested its head on her hand and with the second contact Cassandra was bombarded with visions of her past and a woman she didn't recognize.

It all clicked into place and Cassandra wasn't sure how to feel anymore.

"Cassandra are you okay!" Rapunzel ran to Cassandra's side as she began to wobble on her legs. However, Cassandra didn't respond, only staring at the wolf with a mixture of emotions. Anger, relief, and confusion rippled her body.

Rose was losing her shit, She couldn't find Rapunzel or Cassandra anywhere. She had done her utmost to keep the girls apart but for some reason, they seem to find a way to be in each other company. She knew Mother Superior would have a field day with her mistake as she knew it wasn't the right moment for Cassandra to know about Rapunzel, Well her connection to her but it seem she was too late.

No matter what she did she had a feeling Rapunzel was up to something. If the truth unraveled too soon it could disrupt the future plans Mother Superior had in place. It had been a couple of days since she had heard from Taline. It would be long before she return home so all she need was time. Enough time to distract the girls from whatever they were up to.

After roaming the corridors of the manor she had finally reached the grand Library. Swifty opening the door she was quickly frozen in place. Stunned by what she was seeing in front of her.

She had finally found Rapunzel and Cassandra but she was shocked to see the ancient Spirit by her side. Standing proud over her as Cassandra sat on the floor in distress.

Cassandra had noticed her presence and it was clear in the girl's eyes that she knew the truth.

Rose tried to come closer to the girls but Cassandra quickly got her feet, distancing herself from the woman. But before Rose could say a word, the coven started to shake fiercely. The books on the shelves flew from their cases and the sky that was once a calm blue now turn pitched black around the coven.

Looking at the sky it wasn't long before she realized the dread that now befallen the coven. Zhan Tiri was here.

Sorry for the long wait, I had rewritten this chapter so many times but I hope you all like it. Partly Inspired by the episode Under Raps.
