On Metaluna Exeter were leading Cal, Ruth, Lois and Jimmy to the throne room where the Monitor sits waiting, The Monitor sees them and greets them
"These must be the scientists from Earth," said the Monitor as he stares at Cal and Ruth
"Meacham and Adams are two of Earth's most brilliant scientists." Said Exeter
"Most of our scientists here are dead as well our allies the Kryptonians. So, for the survival of the people of Metaluna will be relocating to Earth. Now take them to the Thought Transference chamber where they will be stripped of their free will." Said the Monitor
"Jeepers!" said Jimmy as he scared
"You can't let them do that." Said Lois
"She's right, what your proposing is wrong and immoral." Exeter protested
"We have no other option. The people of Earth will also share the same fate." Said the Monitor
"Exeter, do something?" Cal pleaded
"I'm afraid you all don't have a choice, so come along." Said Exeter as he starts to escort them to the Chamber.
They walk over to the building, along the way they see a strange looking creature guarding the building, the creature had big bug like eyes and its brains were exposed on the top of his head.
"What is that thing?" Cal asked
"Those are Mutants that we programmed to do menial labor." Said Exeter
They come to the chamber, but before they could go in, they hear a voice coming from behind them
"Not so fast!" said Superman as he appears
"Superman!" they all shouted
"Gosh Superman, I know I say this all this all time, but Boy am I glad to see you!" said Jimmy excited
"We're all in agreement." Said Ruth
"Superman, I knew you find us!" said Lois
"Well, I'm afraid Superman can't help you as I explained earlier Kryptonians are powerless in this atmosphere away from the sun." Said Exeter
"You're right, my powers are depleted. Which is why I have proposition for you, I heard what the Monitor said and I'm willing to go into chamber in exchange for my friend's freedom." Superman proposed
"Wait Superman, we can't let you do that." Said Lois getting worried
"It's the only way Miss Lane, I would be more valuable to your people under your control then they would." Said Superman
"I suppose you have a point." Said Exeter
"Good. Doctor Meacham, I want you to take everyone and go find away out of here." Superman ordered
"Yes Superman, come let's get out of here." Said Cal he nudges everyone along
Exeter opens the door to the chamber, but before Superman steps in he asked Exeter for a request
"I need you to make sure that my friends make it back to Earth." Superman asked
"I promise Kal El." Said Exeter admiring Superman's courage
On the other side of the planet Lois, Jimmy, Cal and Ruth made it to the rail car that leads to the saucer, they all get in except for Lois
"Come on Miss Lane, we gotta go," said Jimmy
"We just can't leave Superman here." Said Lois
"It's what he wanted." Said Jimmy
"Lois, I know that you care about Superman we all do, but he wouldn't want you to die here on this Godforsaken planet." Said Ruth
"Ruth's right, so please let's go." Cal pleaded
Lois reluctantly agreed and got in the rail car, suddenly they hear Exeter's voice. "Wait" Exeter shouted as he approached them. Cal picks up a rock and holds him off
"Get away from us Exeter!" Cal yells
"I'm here to help you." Said Exeter
"Why should we trust you after everything you done!" Lois yells
"Because I promised Superman that I would help you get back to Earth." Said Exeter
They all look into his eyes and tell that he was telling the truth. They help him on to the car and head back to the Saucer.
