School was starting the next day, so Aizawa, Shoto and Izuku were doing the training. Izuku opened the box behind the plexiglass, and Shoto just stood there, looking tired. Aizawa shared an uneasy look with Izuku. All the vampire did was sit down, despite the smell. The other two thought that perhaps it wasn't fresh.

Izuku bit his tongue and opened his mouth. Shoto's mouth started to water, but he stayed sitting, dazed, almost seeming drunk or high. Aizawa slowly approached him, looking concerned. He had his finger over the button on his phone and forcibly activate the choker and cuffs, no matter if he was in a frenzy, lost himself.

"Todoroki?" Aizawa tried. He touched his shoulder, but it didn't really register. Izuku came over, leaving the box of blood. He crouched in front of Shoto, who just looked lost and sad. Izuku put a hand on his shoulder, too, kneeling in front of him. The vampire didn't know what happened next, he felt confused and foggy, but he lurched forward and kissed Izuku on the mouth, tasting his blood, his eyes shooting open wide.

He was immediately electrocuted and cuffed, which was pretty uncomfortable for his feet in the way he was sitting. "You okay, Midoriya?" Aizawa asked, looking down at Shoto's twitching form, and producing so much saliva that it looked like it was just spilled out, like water from a gutter. "Shit, shit, shit," the teacher swore.

"I feel - I feel fine," Izuku said, shaking at knowing Shoto finally tasted his blood, and worried over what would happen next. It was only a tiny amount, but the look on his face showed a tiny amount still affected him strongly. Shoto woke up, the saliva pooled around in face soaking his cheeks and jaw.

There was this fruity, honey like taste in his mouth. It tasted so good, it made him feel warm and fuzzy. There was barely a trace of it in his mouth, any more of it having been purged out with all the drool. He sat up, wiping at his face, kind of disgusted by it.

"Are you okay, Shoto?"

"More, more, please," he begged, but Aizawa forced him back down.

"Do you remember what happened? Was that a ruse?" Shoto was genuinely confused. He was lost. So he shook his head, not remembering. "You tasted Midoriya's blood by kissing him when he had a bleeding tongue." That's what it was. It didn't taste like blood, none he'd ever tried. It was fantastic, but he knew better than to show that.

He said, "I don't remember. I smelled it, and then it kind of went foggy." He touched his neck, where the irritated skin was. He'd been shocked, but didn't really remember.

"What do you feel after tasting the blood?" Aizawa said stiffly. He looked angry. His hard exterior wavered when tears were from Shoto's good eye. Izuku couldn't help but move closer, seeming worried. "Todoroki, what are you feeling right now."

"Home…"

"Home. Does it not taste like any other type?" Shoto shook his head.

"I want more, please."

"No, Todoroki. You are not drinking from your classmate, and more importantly, your boyfriend." Shoto was still dazed. Izuku moved forward before Aizawa could stop him, and hugged him. They were waiting for a reaction, but Shoto just hugged him back, inhaling his scent, which was so much richer now.

But he was in control and didn't bite, didn't even kiss or lick his skin. He just hugged him back, so warm. "How you feeling now, Shoto? Is this okay?"

"Mmm. Love you," he sighed, and stroked his hair.

"Alright, that's enough of that," Aizawa said, a bit awkward. Izuku stood up, and helped Shoto stand, too. He tilted to the side, and his boyfriend caught him, righting him. He didn't fall again. "You both can not sleep together. No more sharing the bedroom, even with your doors wide open. We don't know the long term reaction; this could wear off."

Izuku nodded, and Shoto looked upset. "Just for a bit," Izuku soothed. "See how you're doing and then we'll act from there. Let's go back. We can't say anything about this, okay? They'll be upset and angry, and we really don't need that. You really don't." The couple and teacher walked to the dorms again.

Aizawa watched closely the whole time, ready to immobilize Shoto, but with his scarves. He wasn't in any attack state and so electrocuting him would be wrong. When they got back to the dorm, Shoto was brought into his room. He would be in isolation for the night. Izuku brought him his pillow case to sleep with, since it smelled like him.

Shoto went in willingly, and Aizawa somehow locked it from the outside. "Drink some blood, kid. Donated blood." Shoto went to his fridge and got out a bottle, and heated it up. It didn't taste any worse than before, but it didn't taste as good. There was no possible way to define the difference.

Blood made him satisfied and feel alive. Normal blood he'd been drinking his whole life. But Izuku's, and just a little, made him feel like nothing bad had ever happened to him. It made him feel like everything was great, he wasn't hated or feared, he'd never been abused by his father, he never lost his friend, his mother. Touya never died.

He knew rationally that he couldn't get that. It was from his living, breathing boyfriend. He couldn't just take his blood whenever. But god, at least sometimes. But bringing the pillow case to his face, even that made him feel more warm and fuzzy than before.

He heard the camera move to point at his bed. All Shoto did was hug it to his chest and crawl under the covers to sleep, still imagining the taste, just that tiny, tiny amount, still in his mouth. He did nothing but sleep for the night.

Even though school was starting again the next day, Aizawa texted him that he wouldn't be attending class. He'd still be in isolation. Shoto wasn't happy about that, but knew Aizawa was right. While the vampire didn't feel like he'd lose it at any moment, and just go and tear the world apart for Izuku, he did think it was the right decision.

How are you feeling? Doing okay? Izuku messaged.

Yeah. I'm sorry.

Its okay. Better than I ever expected. You weren't aggressive or anything. I did know eventually somehow you'd taste my blood, but this went really well! You didn't hurt me or get into a frenzy. I'm happy about that.

It tasted so good. And your smell is even better now.

Should I be glad about that? Lol.

Yeah. You're nothing like any blood I've gotten ever before. I really want more, but I'm under control. I wish we could have slept together, but I understand why not.

Well, if things keep going well, I'll definitely give you some more. I'm gonna delete this one so Aizawa never sees it.

Shoto smiled lighty, and buried his face back into the pillow case. Izuku went to class, and Shoto could hear the others ask where he is, and what happened the night before. After all, Shoto was locked in his room for the night. Though he had walked into the place with a calm exterior. Not looking viscous or out of control.

His pupils were a bit wide, but not enough to be overly noticeable. He wasn't drooling, though his hair had still been wet with it, plastered to both sides of his face and ears. And Izuku hadn't been bothered, either.

Izuku had explained Shoto tired himself out during training, and was going to bed early. The vampire assumed Izuku had looked calm and composed, but he ignored more questions about what happened. He had sounded completely satisfied and happy.

After dinner time came, Aizawa brought Izuku to Shoto's room to test how things were. The teen moved to the bed, and hugged his boyfriend. "How do you feel?"

"Okay, tired a bit," Shoto replied. He shoved his nose in Izuku's shoulder and smelled before leaving a single, sweet kiss.

"Okay, let's stop doing that in front of our teacher," Izuku said, embarrassment in his voice. "Did you sleep okay?" Shoto nodded. "How do you feel about the blood?"

"Normal blood still tastes fine and it helped. I don't really feel like much changed," Shoto said, Izuku pulling away to hold both cheeks. He smiled, very happy, and Shoto returned it. "I did it. I didn't attack you. I wasn't violent, I didn't hurt you."

Aizawa ruined it, "We don't know if you would have bitten him, Todoroki. You only tasted his blood from his own, self-inflicted wound. If you bit, you could do serious damage." Shoto's shoulders slumped, and Izuku had a flash of annoyance on his face, but the teacher didn't see it, as Izuku's back was to him.

"Go and get some dinner, boys," Aizawa said. Shoto took Izuku's hand, and they walked to the elevator and down.

In the elevator, Shoto hugged Izuku's close, nice and warm, resting his face in his boyfriend's neck. He smelled so sweet and relaxing. Pulling away a bit, Shoto had wide pupils, a slightly spitty, but not drooling, his lip was just wet. But he had the most peaceful face on, he wasn't in pain and holding back.

Shoto pressed soft touches to his back with his fingers. Izuku clearly enjoyed this treatment vey much. This was new. Shoto wasn't tense in anyway. There was no trace of discomfort. He looked relaxed, even more than when they would sleep. He kind of looked like he was going to fall asleep, but there was a barely there smile on his face.

Izuku blushed at the expression, and when they got to the first floor, they walked to the common area. There was already food served. When Shoto walked in, the room went quiet. They got some servings of the food laid out in celebration for the next semester starting. They were trapped in their dorms the entire time - most of the time - so it hadn't felt much like a vacation.

They ate, and being beside Izuku, it felt like the sun, but it wasn't painful. Which was a foreign feeling, after so long. "Is he okay?" Kaminari asked, seeing Shoto's spaced out expression.

"Yeah," Izuku said. Shoto moved and barely smelled him. He made a satisfied noise, and Izuku chuckled, clearly having zero problem with this behavior.

"The hell happened, Todoroki?" Sero laughed. "You look high as fuck!" Aizawa came down, and everyone stiffened.

"I'm on my way out. Listen, you two. I'm keeping close watch on you. Both of you. If I see anything, both of you are suspended." Well, that was better than expelled. "Damn problem children," he muttered, and left.

Everyone were confused by the interaction. "Sooooo… he's still acting weird, huh?" Kirishima asked.

"He's fine," Izuku said. "Just happy."

"What happened last night to cause this?"

"Ohhh… did you go all the way?" Ashido smirked.

"I sure fuckin' hope not, Aizawa was keeping watch all night," Bakugo said. Everyone soured at the idea. After both were done, Shoto melted against Izuku's side, happy. This wouldn't be practical to have happen every time, as everyone would clearly notice. Especially Aizawa.

"Wait! You were practicing, right? With Aizawa?" Urarka asked. Shoto's small, always present frown came back, and his head cleared a bit. Izuku nodded. "He drank your blood, didn't he! And that's why he's acting like this!" she accused. The class went silent, all eyes going to Shoto. He didn't know what to say.

So Izuku said, "It was an accident."

"Everything bad he does, you excuse as an accident," Uraraka spat out.

"But it was. I bit my tongue, and when he kissed me, this happened. It's not like he pinned me down and attacked me or something," Izuku said calmly. "He was very calm, and didn't do anything more, even after all those times he had to be subdued before. Besides, I don't think it's anyone's business but ours and Aizawa-sensei's."

"It's our business if we find you dead from blood loss in the morning," Jiro said in annoyance. Shoto was deeply offended, as was Izuku. "You told us he's a danger to you, and he finally gets it, and now you're totally cool with it? It just doesn't seem like a good thing…" Neither replied, knowing it was pointless to argue at this point.

Both of them were, frankly, sick of it by now. After food, they helped load the dishwasher by rinsing everything off, and then headed up to Izuku's room. Shoto asked so he could smell him more, so they were sleeping in his room tonight. Closing the door almost all the way, Shoto got on the bed and hovered over his boyfriend, who looked surprised at this.

He kissed him, but nothing else happened. He didn't bite him, didn't do anything intimate other than kiss and cuddle. Shoto fell asleep inhaling the comforting smell. Though in his sleep he did want a taste, but didn't act on it, even if his mouth was watering at the thought, even in his dreams.

In the morning, Izuku kissed him, and Shoto could tell he'd bitten his tongue again. This way there were no marks. Shoto moaned and sucked on his tongue, getting more blood from the shallow wound. It would heal soon enough, and Izuku clearly thought it was worth it. Shoto grabbed at his back, but when Izuku started to remove his tongue, since it was starting to hurt, Shoto chased it for only a second before he stopped.

He was limp on the bed, and his boyfriend watched the cheeks turn a light pink, and a smile grace his lips. But when he opened his eyes, Izuku looked shocked and worried. "Hmm? What's wrong?" he asked.

"Your eyes. They're more red now," he said in an upset voice. Shoto jerked up and ran to the bathroom. Izuku followed, and they also saw that his teeth had grown just slightly, not enough to be obvious, but barely noticeable. His eyes were still deep, deep red, but they looked more red than brown.

"Let's just wait for a bit, and see if it fades," Izuku said, looking and sounding frazzled. Shoto felt detached from it, and moved to his boyfriend, melting against his chest, and kissing his neck. His teeth grazed the skin. "Shoto, we can't. We'll get separated for who knows how long," he said, swallowing at the feeling of his teeth. They were longer, but they weren't exactly sharper. "C'mon, wake up," he said, more insistently, but not angry or irate.

Shoto groaned, not wanting to stop, but he did when the other gently pushed him away. He'd left a bunch of spit on his shoulder. He wiped it up with his sleeve. After Shoto fell back asleep, when he woke up his eyes were back to the brown. Izuku sighed in relief. "They're back to normal," he said. "Smile for me. The teeth are still the same length, but they're not terribly noticeable.

"Let's do your sunscreen and then get dressed. And go get some blood, some more that will actually help." Izuku gathered his things for the day, and they headed upstairs. Luckily, Shoto was not acting high. He was just satisfied, and felt nice and warm inside. He gave nothing away like he had before, even if he'd gotten more blood this time. When they got into this room, both of them did the routine of sunscreen around his body and face, scrubbing it into his hairline and tops of his ears. The back of his neck, everywhere that may be exposed.

"Do you not like it?" Shoto asked, getting dressed. "Tell me and I'll never do it again." And he was honest. If it hurt or upset him, he wouldn't ever taste his blood again.

"No, I like it. I feel special even more, now. Nobody else's blood - the thousands of donors you've had - ever made you react like that. I'm happy I'm able to do that, and with such a little amount, too," he said, wrapping his hands around Shoto's waist. "They may say you're using me or something stupid like that, but that's not how I feel at all."

Shoto smiled. "You don't worry over me hurting you? If… if I bite. Like, I was putting my teeth on your skin. I'm sorry if that was scary."

"Oh, I don't care if you bite me." Shoto was confused. "As long as you stop when I ask, we're both consenting to it. We just gotta hide it from everyone else," he whispered. "But I can't really hide bite marks when changing into costume…"

"Could bite you in places they won't see."

"Oh?" Izuku asked in amusement.

Shoto's face flushed. "No, I can't do that. Sitting would hurt if you had bite marks all over your butt and thighs." Izuku's face flamed, too. Shoto looked amused, his features back to being light. Not smiling wide, not frowning deeply. Usually in that middle ground. They went downstairs, Izuku making sure his eyes were back to normal, and they were.

"How's your tongue?"

"It stings a little bit, but it's really nothing. We've both had much worse injuries, I think a bite on my tongue is pretty weak." Shoto smiled, and they walked to breakfast. Everyone watched them closely before they saw both acting perfectly normal, and went back to their things.
