Spider-Man: Watch out! Here comes the Spider-Man! Two years?! We returned to Ylisse two years late?! Well at least we skipped the part Chrom and Sumia made their baby. She's cute. Let's kick 'em outta the country!

Act 2 Issue 4: The Seacomers

Port Ferox, Regna Ferox.

Port Ferox is hustling and bustling with activity as another normal day for the Feroxi. All the activity seems to be causing an ominous mist that slowly blankets the area. No one pays any mind to it, acting like it's normal. What isn't normal, however, are cannonballs fired through the mist as they bombard the town, causing panic as buildings collapse, windows shatter, and the streets begin to crack and fissure and arise an army of Grimm that rampage through town hunting for fresh human meat.

BGM-One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 OST-Dark Fruit

When it is all over, the town is now a fiery wasteland. Through the mist are three Valmese ships that dock themselves at the port, unleashing onto town a unified evil army comprised of Sinister Soldiers, Badniks, Grimm, and a plethora of widely dangerous Valmese Soldiers that have made it very clear they are here to conquer everything.

One Villager was either brave enough or stupid enough to board an enemy ship to try and convince the invaders to leave in peace, but he wasn't allowed to even utter a whimper when Commander Dalton confronts him with the scariest of faces and speeches, "You dare board our ship, worm? I will not discuss terms with a peasant; I will issue demands to all!" From the edge of his ship, Dalton faces enemies and allies alike in town expressing, "CITIZENS! SOLDIERS! HEAR MY WORDS! The Conqueror himself, Emperor Walhart, claims dominion over these lands! You will grant your new emperor your ships! You will grant him all your provender! You will grant him your loyalty and your every possession! And you will surrender this land's greatest treasure, the Fire Emblem! Do this, and your lives will be spared. Resist, and your lives are forfeit! Now, kneel! And swear fealty to the mighty Valmese Empire!"

"B-but if you take all that we have, how are we to make our living?" The Villager gains a tiny speck of courage to argue with his demands, "Without food and ships, people will starve! Would you have us all die?"

Dalton looks at him in the eye and mutters, "…You'll do for now." before killing him with a stab from his spear.

"Well, they wasted no time greeting the neighborhood." Spider-Man joked from the other side of town, reacting to the invasion by bringing along his Dimensional Avengers, the reassembled Shepherds, and their massive army of Feroxi Soldiers to confront their new enemies. "Surprised they showed up so soon. Gotta hate Masters' of Evil Tech. Not too late to bargain and watch them swim back home." He jokingly suggested to Chrom standing beside him.

"These savages will never listen to reason." Chrom retorted, before ordering, "Everyone: prepare to engage!"

"Milord, are you certain? Another war…" Frederick remarked, unsure if this is the right idea since Ylisse just recovered from the last war with Plegia and they're going against more powerful enemies.

"I've had time to ponder Ylisse's place in the world, Frederick. …And my own. We must stand against evil, in all its forms, or there can be no peace!" Chrom proclaimed with a resolute heart.

BGM-One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 OST-Battle Royal

Sonic smirks, proud of the prince's refined resolve, "Spoken like a true king! Let's do it to it!" The Azure Hero exclaimed with amazing confidence that rallies their army for this new war against Valm.

The mission is simple: Rout the enemy and save the innocent. Easier said than done as always, but most of the Ylissean League love a good challenge. A portion of their forces is tasked with evacuating who remains in town, while also dealing with enemies that want to kill everyone in town. Several Grimm race each other to kill a group of civilians until they were webbed by the web-zipping Spider-Man, giving Libra enough time leading people to safety. More civilians are escorted to safety superfast by Sonic either boosting through or spinattacking Sinister Soldiers in his way across the battlefield. An Egg Pawn tries sniping him amidst his rescues, only for it to be sniped instead by Virion riding alongside Cordelia's pegasus.

"Stay alert! The Valmese are formidable!" advised Lon'qu while reluctantly pairing up with Ruby, holding his own and slaying several Valmese Soldiers that wants their heads.

"No kidding!" quipped Ruby, severely struggling head-on to deflect a powerful lance strike from a Valmese Cavalier.

The Huntress uses her Semblance to surprise him with a quick attack that fail to do any significant damage, forcing Lon'qu to aid her with a swift slash of a blade that cuts down the mighty foe. Suddenly, a bolt of magical lightning flies through the air, striking the pair with electrifying force that forces them onto their knees and stare weakly at the assailant wearing gear that impresses the young Ruby, "Wow that looks so awesome."

"Like it?" chuckled the Valmese Soldier, piloting a large green, technologically advanced exo-suit sporting a humanoid design and radiating incredible magic. "Called Magitek Armor. Courtesy of our partners from the Outrealms! Want another demonstration of its power? HERE!" The Soldier exclaimed, unleashing a terrifying barrage of Magitek Missiles that blow away the Gynophobe and Scarlet Huntress with powerful explosions.

Provided by the Masters of Evil's otherworldly technology and ISO-8, Magitek Armors that only elite troops are allowed to wear have made the Valmese more deadly powerful than how they were described in stories. Equipping them with the most powerful abilities science and magic can create together, like poisoning dozens of Ylisseans with a fatal bio blast. Inflict confusion on all enemies in range to make them easier targets to kill. One Solider was cruel enough even to banish a scared Ylissean from battle with just a command, to boast that the Valmese are superior.

"Told you all the Valmese are the strongest in the world, but no one listens to the Great and Handsome Virion!" Virion snarked, fending off many Valmese to the best of his ability.

"Fight just started and we're already getting wrecked!" Amy scowled.

Nearby, Chrom is alone defending himself against a Magitek Mech firing a fire beam right at him. The Great Lord quickly uses his Fire Emblem as a shield to block it, then says, "Just because I'm the unofficial Exalt doesn't mean I've skipped training these past two years. Time to show off the fruit of my labor!" The Exalted Prince dashes forward with an upward sword strike that stuns the Mech, jumping back to empower his blade with electricity and shout, "AETHER" whilst delivering a lightning-fast dash slash that cuts through the machine, destroying it and killing its pilot in one electrifying blow.

"Blárraven!" Robin was the next to boast the powerful magic of a Grandmaster, summoning a flock of blue magical birds that easily obliterates another Magitek Mech.

"Kindled-Fire Balm!" shouted Lissa, happily using her staff to not only heal nearby heroes but give them a power boost that lasts until they defeated a third Magitek Mech.

"Pavise!" Frederick exclaimed, using a skill that reduces damage while he singlehandedly tears apart one more Magitek Mech.

"Amazing! To think from my perspective, you've gotten this strong in a few short days." Weiss commented in awe of the Shepherds' evolved power.

"Not just strong but fast too! Speed Plus!" smiled Sumia, increasing her speed to blitz through many enemies for a short, yet very incredible while.

Dalton is annoyed, "The Ylisseans are more stubborn than I thought. Let us see how they'll last against our missiles." On his command, his ships' weapons begin powering up for a powerful barrage, "Block the weaklings from any retreat! Have heat seekers lock onto their strongest, soldiers!", before targeting powerful heroes like Knuckles, Nowi, Spider-Man, and Yang, "Ready? …FIRE!", and unleashing hell onto the port.

Many missiles erupt from two of his ships, with each providing their own flavor of destruction on the battlefield. Some missiles are of the standard variety, bombarding and killing countless Ylisseans in a single stroke across the battlefield. Other missiles are capable of homing in on mighty heroes that are being trouble. Tharja, Tails, and Blake were amongst the first to be knocked out. Spider-Man would've joined them in defeat if a Wyvern-riding fighter from Rosanne didn't swoop in to his rescue.

"Cherche!" A shocked Spidey exclaimed at her sudden arrival.

"Might I join, sire? This may not be my country, but it is my cause. My dear Minerva here hungers for a bite of the action as well!" Cherche grinned.

"GRAAWR!" Minerva growled, eager to demolish all the Valmese.

"Sonic, Knuckles, destroy the attacking ships to give Spidey and Cherche room to engage their commander!" Robin ordered the powerful mobian duo.

"Got it!" Sonic acknowledged.

At their top speed, the Blue Hedgehog and the Red Echidna race each other toward the ships. They try focusing their missile barrage on the incoming nuisances but they were too fast to target, even moreso once they shout, "COMBO ATTACK!", and join forces by grabbing each other's hand and spin around until they form a rather large and extremely fast reddish-blue Spin Attack. This heroic combo is nothing like the Valmese have ever encountered before, smashing through missiles like they were nothing before acting like a high-speed boomerang that is more than powerful enough to pierce through the two attacking ships, causing them to explode into a sinking finish.

All but one Valmese ship has been destroyed, raising the Ylisseans' morale to finish things with their enemies. The Battle of Port Ferox nears its conclusion, right as Spider-Man and Cherche land on the ship where Commander Dalton is ready to kill them. "Sir, I'm gonna have to ask you to dock somewhere else. You're disturbing the fish." Spidey jokingly confronted the Valmese Commander.

Dalton scoffs at his unamusing humor, "So you're the Legendary Hero-Spider. They say you united worlds using your great power to vanquish the Goblin King. You would fit right in with the Valmese." He said, acknowledging the Avenger's power.

"Sorry pal, but I make it a rule not to team up with conquerors. Or, y'know, interdimensional terrorists." Spidey quipped.

"Then you are nothing! A speck of sand on the boot of the great empire!" retorted Dalton with something special in mind to destroy the heroes with.

BGM-Fire Emblem Warriors OST-Awakening

The Valmese Commander then backjumps off the edge of the ship. Before confused Spider-Man and Cherche could give chase, they were surprised by a large snake-like machine erupting from the sea to do battle with them. Piloted by the grinning Dalton himself, it is the Egg Hammer Fortress that threatens to crush them into paste, "And this boot will squash you like the bug that you are!"

"Get your eyes check! That looks more like a snake with an egghead than a boot!" Spidey quipped, quickly glancing to his partner, "Give me air support!"

"At once!" Cherche nodded.

It's two-on-one as Spider-Man fights from the ground and Cherche battles in the air. The Egg Hammer Fortress tries slamming its head at the Webslinger that perfectly counters it with a damaging Web-Strike to the cockpit, forcing it aback and be distracted by Cherche's impressive flying skills that leaves it open to a powerful web barrage that enrages the pilot.

"Little pests! Try to survive this one!" Dalton commands his mech to coil back like a snake and perch its cockpit on a platform. From there using a cannon, he fires homing rockets at an incredibly rapid manner that make them harder for the heroes to avoid. Cherche tries flying away but it was no use as she and Minerva are quickly blasted out of the sky.

"Cherche!" Spidey shouted, with his concern distracting him from rockets that land an effective blow on him.

After finishing the assault, the Egg Hammer Fortress coils back onto its usual area to watch Spider-Man struggle to recover. The laughing Dalton doesn't give him the chance, commanding his mech to smash him three times in brutal succession. The mech reels back as Dalton looks at the crushed spider that is too weak to move from a fatal blow. "It's over, Insect!" Dalton laughs, preparing to kill Spider-Man with a mega head slam.

What Dalton doesn't realize yet is that Spidey is playing possum. He's still pretty banged up, but has more than enough strength to cleverly sneak out a Web Bomb by his side. Once Dalton goes in for the killing blow, Spidey reveals his ploy at the last second by backflipping away and allowing his Bomb to be triggered upon impact, exploding and ensnaring the head with sticky webbing that not only prevents it from moving, but also blinds Dalton from the outside world, "Hey! I can't see or move!"

"If you don't mind!" scowled a recovered Cherche, using her axe to completely shatter the cockpit with just a mighty blow.

The Egg Hammer Fortress is defeated, and Dalton is left utterly defenseless in the presence of Spider-Man and a very scary looking Cherche. "What…H-how…" Suddenly Dalton's confused look is replaced with terror as he is grabbed by his clothes and dragged out of the mech by Cherche.

"Lunchtime, Minerva." The smiling Cherche said while throwing the enemy to the hungry sights of her wyvern. Minerva stomps on the commander to prevent him from escaping her roaring gaze, "GWRAAAAAAR!" while threatening to eat him, which was more than enough to scare him into unconsciousness.

"Remind me to never tick you off." Spidey joked with the Wyvern Friend, finding her terrifying when angry.

"I can never be mad at spiders. Your kind is so cuddly." Cherche genuinely admitted.

"Finally, someone that agrees!" Spidey happily shrugged, sharing her sentiment.

With their leader defeated, the rest of the Valmese follow suit. The first battle in this Valm War has been won by the Ylissean League as the heroes takes this moment to regroup and recuperate. "Chrom, Spider-Man, is that all of them?" Robin asked the twin leaders.

"Yes, but victory's come with a price…" Chrom replied somberly.

"The town is in shambles, as is my army." Basilio grimly grunted at the destruction the Valmese had wrought.

"Don't forget us Avengers. We weren't expecting them to be so tough." Ruby remarked.

"This is most troubling news. Feroxi soldiers are the finest east of the long sea, and the Avengers are the Outrealms' Mightiest Heroes. If they are having trouble, we are ALL in trouble." Frederick noted worriedly.

"That's not the half of it. This was just the vanguard—but a taste of the meal yet to come." Flavia told everyone.

"And once it arrives, their host will wash over the whole continent in a matter of weeks. There's no way we could repel them and defend our people. It would be a slaughter." Basilio noted.

While the heroes were conversing, one of the destroyed Sinister Soldiers begin acting funny. It short circuit as electricity crackles across its body as someone from a faraway distance is forcing it to project a massive holographic screen displaying a confident Doctor Doom that looms before all his enemies, "You have kept me waiting, Avengers."

"DOOM!" The Dimensional Avengers exclaimed, startled by his sudden appearance.

"Doom?" Robin remarked, just as surprised as his fellow Shepherds to be greeted by the ultimate villain of the Marvel Universe.

"So, you're Doctor Doom." Chrom glares sternly at the otherworldly invader, "I suppose we should be honored you're greeting us."

"You should. It is not often two royals from two worlds greet. The Supreme Monarch of Latveria and the Exalted Prince of Ylisse. I have heard of your exploits from Grimadoom, and I must say, you are impressive for one so young." Doom claimed, engaging in conversation with the Ylissean Prince.

"Happy I left an impression. What do you want?" Chrom retorted.

"The Fire Emblem. Surrender it to me." Doom demanded.

"I refuse!" Chrom snapped back.

"Clearly you are blind to our mutual dilemma. The children Avengers have told you of the Genesis Portals and their threat to our worlds, yes? It will not be long until their instability grows to the point of consuming all reality. You care for Ylisse as much as I care for Latveria. I will do what needs to be done to save my world, and the key to my victory lies with the Fire Emblem." Doom said ominously.

"Then why join forces with Valm and begin a war distracting us from the real threat?" Chrom questioned his villainous actions.

"Only the strongest can wield ultimate power to save our worlds and this war shall prove it. The Valmese Empire have proven to be invaluable allies to the Masters of Evil. Look at your forces. You barely survived a TASTE of our unified power. Imagine what the full course will do to you once they dock at your bays in a few days' time. I give you this last chance: Surrender the Fire Emblem! Or else!" Doom demanded once more, this time with a far more sinister tone.

"Or else what, ya metal-masked loser?" Spidey quipped.

"Or else I'll take it from you by force…and destroy this pitiful dimension!" Doom threatened, with his bone-chilling glare being the last thing the worried heroes lay eyes on before the transmission cuts off.

BGM End

"Well, he's not nice." Lissa quipped nonchalantly after hearing Doom's threat.

"Understatement of the year." Amy snarked.

"Doom's making things complicated for us. The Masters of Evil needs to be stopped!" Blake declared.

"How? Ylisse is not equipped to handle an attack from the sea…" Chrom retorted, before asking, "Robin, what do you suggest?"

Robin gets into his thinking position and ponders aloud, "Hmm…Their greatest strengths are their cavalry and otherworldly technology, which puts us at a disadvantage…mostly on land. But if we were to catch them at SEA…"

"But how?! Ylisse has no warships, nor does Ferox." Chrom remarked.

"Spidey and Tails are already building us a warship!" Lissa reminded all.

"A warship! Building a fleet will take months and none of the Masters are legendary for their patience. Besides maybe Salem…" Spidey quipped.

"So we'd need aid from a kingdom that already has a fleet…" Basilio muttered, forming a crazy idea in his head that his rivaling Khan takes notice of.

"You have someplace in mind, oaf?" Flavia asked.

"Perhaps a land that borders the sea, with enough wealth to afford this campaign?" Basilio hints his idea to his allies.

"Plegia!" Tails caught on immediately, acknowledging that their former enemies have the resources they need to stop the Masters of Evil.

And understandably, Chrom is furiously against asking for help from the kingdom responsible for his older sister's death, "No. Absolutely not. Out of the question."

"They have gold, boy! Countless ships! And more importantly, we have a fart's chance in the wind without them." Basilio argued with the prince.

"The oaf is right. …Crude, but right. There's only one path forward." Flavia stated.

"Chrom, will you reconsider?" Robin asked him to.

Chrom takes a moment for himself. Two years have passed since the war and he still hasn't completely forgiven Plegia for their role in Ylisse's suffering. Then again, he recognizes that the Masters of Evil are a much bigger threat than Gangrel could ever be and that they need to be stopped before they add in additional suffering for his people. For his friends. His family.

"Chrom." Sumia approaches her husband with a face that expresses determination against immeasurable danger, "We have to take this risk."

Acknowledging his wife's resolve, Chrom lets out a deep sigh before giving everyone his solemn answer, "…Very well. Send a messenger and request a summit immediately. Let us pray this new king is more reasonable than their last."

"Indeed." Robin nodded, glad his friend decided to take this risk with their rivaling kingdom.

"You know, Robin…For your first time against Valmese forces, that was an impressive victory. You and Chrom have both grown quite adept. You should be proud." Flavia complimented the tactician.

"Hello? Some of us were also fighting the Valmese for the first time." A deadpanned Knuckles asked, wanting a compliment as well since this was also his first time battling the Valmese.

"Oh, yeah, I guess you weren't so bad either. Good job, Knuckles." Flavia slyly quipped to annoy the echidna.

"Don't patronize me." Knuckles snarled.

Elsewhere in Ferox…

Buried underneath centuries of sand in a vast desert is the hulking husk of a massive city once rich in magical power. Many rumors surround these ancient ruins of an advanced civilization. Rumors that might connect the past to the future. No one has visited these ruins in millennia, and there is reason for that as the Dark Dimensional Avengers have come to investigate.

"Infiltration into Thabes Labyrinth successful. Detecting for lifeforms. Negative. No traps detected as of yet." said Omega, upon walking through the entrance alongside his teammates.

"Does your Spider-Sense support this?" Jaune asked Scarlet Spider.

"I lost mine." Kaine conversed stoically.

"How do you lose a Spider-Sense?" Jaune retorted.

"I dunno." Kaine responded.

"Use your Aura to compensate. It's unique. Connected to a Web of Life and Destiny." Pyrrha advised the spider-clone.

"Have no idea what you're talking about, but you're right about this Aura thing being useful. Not as good as a Spider-Sense…" said Scarlet, giving scanning glances at these underground ruins and using his Aura to better sense its deeper meaning, "This place feels like a tomb. Once wrapped with a weird power. Magic, maybe. Neglected, and for good reason to keep something in. Now we're stupid enough to disturb its rest…" He then turns his annoyed face to another new member they captured for their team, "Better not be leading us to a trap, prisoner, if you don't want to be gutted."

BGM-Spider-Man 3 (Game) OST-Sewers #2

"My name is not Prisoner, it's Henry." He introduces himself as a harrowingly optimistic Plegian who loves blood and eternally smiles, not caring that he's cuffed with power inhibitors since he willingly surrendered to help the heroes with their Grima investigations for fun, "Just like how you are preferred as Shadow Arachnid than Scarlet Spider."

"I'm only calling myself that because it sounded cool when you talked about it. That's a good codename." Kaine retorted as they walk down some stairs.

"I much prefer Scarlet Spider. Least it doesn't scream, 'Legendary Spider-Monster that thirsts for chaos and destruction on a global scale'." quipped Nora, having learned of several legends during their adventures in this dimension.

"That is why I like helping this Spider. Chaos and destruction rocks. He fits the Dark Legend really well." Henry remarked with an eerily cheerful expression.

"Something's wrong with you! Scarlet Spider isn't a monster! He's a good guy!" Jaune argued.

A solemn Kaine scoffs, "I don't give a shit 'bout legends and myths. I decide who I want to be and how my life should play out. Not interested in inheriting the legacy of a good man or a demon."

"So you're not the first…" A concerned Nora muttered, noting there was another Scarlet Spider and Kaine not feeling worthy of his predecessor's legacy.

Once down the stairs to another room, the group encounters a slab that captures Ren's curiosity, "A slab?" He approaches it, noticing it shares a piece of a mysterious tale, "It has text. Let me read it… 'In Thabes, lived an alchemist named Forneus, proclaimed for his genius. At the beginning, he was marveled. In time, he would be feared by all. In the deepest part of Thabes, Forneus's workshop can be found'."

"An alchemist lived here?" Kaine noted.

"There's another one over here." Shadow found another slab with its own short story that he reads aloud, "'Two matters consumed Forneus, and he spent his life in their pursuit. The first was how to mobilize the dead and control them as his army. The second was the Creation of a singular, perfect being'."

"Could that be talking about the Risen and the Fell Dragon?" Pyrrha commented.

"More than likely." Henry quipped.

"The Perfect Lifeform…" Shadow muttered, sensing he has more in common with Grima than he never thought before. He orders his team, "Let's find his workshop. There may be more answers there. Keep an eye out for more slabs and keep record of them."

His teammates comply, following Shadow deeper into the labyrinth to learn more of the demon alchemist Forneus. With every floor they drop into lie traps that weren't too difficult to evade if your name isn't Jaune. Every floor has at least one slab that share more pieces of Forneus's tragic tale, either written by him talking about Death Masks, a Mage that thought of him insane, or a Senate that were responsible for sealing the workshop until the city crumbled to sand.

Eventually, the group made it to the end of the maze where they come across a large door branded with a strange and demonic emblem. "What is that mark?" Jaune wondered.

"Unknown. Brand is not listed in my database." Omega commented.

"That is the Brand of the Defile." Henry begun to answer them, "Similar to the Brand of the Exalt, it is a sign of a blood covenant between the Fell Dragon and a human. One who inherits the Brand are capable of harnessing the dragon's power and can be their vessel. They're Totems like you, Shadow Arachnid, for you have your own Brand. That Brand of the Weaver on your clothes!" He points at the spider-emblem on the disinterested Kaine's chest.

"What's more ridiculous: Getting powers from a dragon or a spider?" Kaine snarked.

"I say spider."

"That was rhetorical!"

BGM-Sonic Adventure 2 OST-3 Black Noises (Revival)

Apathetically, Shadow pushes open the branded door into what looks to be the dusty ruins of Forneus's workshop. The heroes thread carefully within, either making keen observations of the alchemist's leftover experiments, inspecting special shelled insects that have long died, or Henry letting out a startling sneeze, "ACHOO! This workshop reeks of ancient magic that can kill millions. I love it!"

"You're twisted." Nora casually quipped.

Amidst inspecting the workshop, Pyrrha comes across an old diary. It too is labeled with the Brand of the Defile, sparking her interest into grabbing it. "Look what I found!" She shows it off to her friends, "This looks to be Forneus's diary."

"Read it." Shadow requested.

Pyrrha nods, and once all friends have gathered to listen intently, she begins to read the tale of The Creation, "'At last, blood from a divine dragon! Although it some time to cross that dangerous bridge, at least it wasn't a folly. Now I have the real thing. Even just looking at it, the blood, its power is terrifying. Beautiful. After mixing the divine dragon blood with human fluids, certain herbs and nectar, I sealed the concoction in a vial and observed it for 40 days. New life had been born. At first, it was a tiny thing, the size of a thumbnail. Looking at it, it looked no different than a human fetus, but without a doubt, it was a new lifeform that had the blood of the gods. I carefully decided to watch over the growth of this new lifeform. I kept it at the temperature of a horse's womb and, each day, I gave it my blood. On the 80th day, its humanoid shape gradually started to disappear. Eyes appeared, its neck grew and I could see a tail growing from its behind. Slowly and slowly, it began to take the shape of a dragon. However, it was an unusually-shaped dragon, not at all like a divine dragon. Its six eyes seemed to be smiling at me from inside the vial. Does it possess consciousness? Is it I that it's smiling at? I think I have created something truly tremendous. Even though it is now as big as a puppy, it shows glimpses of a terrifying power. I have yet to find a solution to control its rampage when it becomes an adult. Its voice echoes in my head; I feel like I can see inside of it. Within it, I can see dark thoughts, violent thoughts. It makes me tremble from my heart. At the same time, I feel like it can look inside me. As it stares at the trembling me, it smiles re-assuredly. That thing has become a dangerous existence that nobody can control. It pains me, but I have decided to destroy it with my own hands'."

"Is that it?" Ren asked if that is how the diary ends.

"Looks like. Just comes to an abrupt end." Pyrrha frowned.

"He must've died." The nonchalant Henry remarked.

"Serves him right. Trying to play god. Couldn't control his own little Creation that's grown to threaten all dimensions. Can't let him get away with this!" Kaine scowled furiously.

"We won't. We WILL stop Grima! Prevent him from resurrecting!" Shadow declared, before turning to the Twisted Plegian Mind, "You've been a big help to us, Henry. We'll let you go once we escape the labyrinth."

"Nah, I'll stick with you guys. You're fun people. Cursed with attractiveness for limitless danger that I can't wait to murder." Henry quipped.

"I share the sentiment." Omega commented, bonding with Henry over their mutual love for violence.

"Look at you two bonding over being psychopaths. How adorable." Nora smiled.

"Can we get out of here now? This place is giving me the biggest creeps." Jaune sweatdropped, with his group ready to escape from the shadowy Thabes Labyrinth.

Back with the Shepherd Avengers Alliance…

Many heroes are still resting after the Battle of Port Ferox. Those who are not are either cleaning up the town or assisting in the construction of the Alliance's very own, very massive, technologically advanced with magical perks, heavily armed naval warship that resembles modern-day surface combatants and themed after Divine Dragon Naga.

"Sure you don't have time to build us a fleet? You practically finished with this one quick." said Chrom, joking with Spider-Man as the two overlook the construction of their warship.

Spider-Man laughs, "Sure. Clone me an army of Sonics. If not, I'll have the Sea Typhoon ready by the time you come back from Plegia." He quipped, deciding to stay

"Looking forward to the finished product." Chrom said, giving a cheery smile to his amazing friend with the laugh.

"Milord, we have word from Plegia!" Suddenly, Frederick approaches the friends with the important Plegia update, "They have agreed to meet with us at their outpost on Carrion Isle. A poor venue should things go sour, as the island's name makes plain. But then I don't see we have much of a choice."

"Cautious as ever, Frederick the Wary. Don't worry. We'll get our ships. This threat hangs over all of us—Plegia as well. They must see that." Chrom hoped, but ready to face whatever mysterious possess the unknown new King of Plegia.
