"I have something to tell you, and it involves summer." Kimi said to both Rocke and Piper entering their room seeing them giving her their attention wondering what she was up to, hearing Rocke ask if they were going to Liverpool makijg Piper grin at his thinking, happy he was like that again as therapy and taking anxiety meds were helping him cope with his high anxiety, he even attended morning-classes at school which had relieved his moms and Piper, he had occasional panic attacks though.
"Nope honey as amazing a vacation like that would be, Piper you wanna help spring the surprise." Kimi told Rocke seeing a confused look on his furry face making Piper take a deep-breath before she spoke, hoping he'd take this well or freak out if they weren't gentle like his therapist explained.
"While you're going to try day-camp, I'm trying s-sleepasay c-camp." she said
"Why do that, when we just want to relax, we've had tension during school, Ugh." Rocke said getting into his hiding-space in the wall where he went to cool down Until he felt better making Sakura sigh, entering guessingKimi's approach had freaked Rocke out seeing Kimi nod.
"I thought Piper explaining would work, but he freaked out and hiding." she told her.
"Let me calm him, then we can talk about it." Piper said softly to them.
"Alright, but he's doing so well regarding his anxiety, we figured he'd be ready." Sakura said as they left Piper and Rocke's room so Piper scampered over knocking on the wall gently like a door which impressed Rocke, hearing her singing which was helping as he crawled out hugging her.
"We should talk to moms about why you're scared." she told him.
"I guess you have a point, and worried something might happen to you, while at camp but not there to help you." he told her making her understanding assuring him she was alright so would write to him while she was at camp making him surprised that you could do that and saw Kimi and Sakura enter grinning at this, impressed that Piper had gotten Rocke to talk to her.
"We'll help you out with this." Sakura reassured him.
"You sure you wanna help me pack for camp, itwon't make you upset." Piper said.
"No, I-I want to, I know you'll have fun, and write so I don't worry." Rocke told her
It was a few weeks later and Piper was due to leave for camp, which she and Rocke had been talkijg about so he wouldn't bd scared when she went in a few days but was going with Kimi to drop her off, so he could see it was alright which had been Sakura's idea so helping besides asking why she had to pack certain things.
"Sleepaway camp is a bit different than day-camp my sushi-roll." Sakura told him kissing his cheek knowing the ultimate separation-test was approaching, knowing Rocke might get anxious if Piper wasn't with him for too long, so taking him with them might help him relax.
